Sarah Palin VS Chris Christie. The Grizzled Mama picks yet another fight she can't win.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Personally I am really enjoying the GOP circular firing squad.

Palin is toxic and everything she touches becomes infected, whether it be reality television shows, her own supporters, or even political parties.  I just hope the Republicans don't figure that out before she completely destroys them.

You don't think they read this blog do you?

  1. O, sweet irony! I seem to remember when she had a chance to spend "other people's money" on sexy boots and cute dresses while campaigning for VP. Talk about your surpluses!! I don't recall her exactly "reigning herself in" when she given the chance to outfit herself. And the GOP isn't just funded by corporations. It's run by donations of average people who are just as stupid as Sarah.

I personally love this clip because you just know when the Roves and other movers and shakers of the GOP watch it, they're just one step closer to planning her destruction.

Sarah better be careful who else she throws under the bus. Her supply of friends is dwindling more quickly than she realizes.

    Timeline Check:

Gov. Christie beats $P in likeability poll.
Then $P goes on the attack against him.

$P still acts like the meanest girl in junior high.

When does all the hate and meaness in her and Todd, finally begin to take it's toll on their health and outward appearance.

Remember the old movie 'The picture of Dorian Gray' 1945. Check it out.

OK, I am going to wallow in the shallow here...Gov Christie should keep his suit jacket on at all times if possible....the shirt, tie, belt combo is just not a good look.

Sarah was just getting her petty mean girl digs in to get back at Christie for not kissing her ass like every other politician does:

    http://dailycaller.com/2011/02/27/chris-christie-offers-2012-advice-to-sarah-palin-give-the-people-unguarded-moments/

Don't forget, Sarah was rejected by Christie back in 09:

Petty woman probably never got over that.

  4. Could this be Sarah's last gasp? Is she waiting for Christie to fire back and then bring out the tears and hanky? KKKarl must be smiling!

What did she mean, courage to cut when there is a surplus? She left Wasilla in debt, and the state no better than she found it, maybe worse.

Time to end it all with a good warm Jello-wrestle with Kathy Griffin.

Then retreat and repair her family. Even she can't deny the terrible costs of being in a family with a politician.

Ha, ha! AGAIN, Palin goes after those who scorned her! Every time Christie is pressed for a response on Palin, he has been critical. Palin just can't let things go! This should be fun.

Sister Sarah PAY-Lin will find out quickly how UNpopular she is if she is deluded enough to run for President. It will take 300 Mil to run for P, and she's way too toxic for many Repubs to vote for her now.
Does the Princess realize HOW MUCH WORK BEING PREZ must be? Just think, no 100K speeches, no vanity trips to gifting rooms, no new books coming out, and constant phone calls, work, decisions, and 24/7 security bubble.

Palin says: "What courage really is, is in the face of having a surplus when you have opportunity to spend, spend, spend the people’s money, you still choose to reign in government to let the private sector soar. That’s real courage, and by the way that’s what I did as [governor of Alaska] when I engaged in hiring freezes and reduced earmarks by 86 percent and vetoed the largest amounts in our state’s history."

Real courage? No, that's real lies.

Her hiring freeze occurred after a dramatic drop in oil prices, as oil fuels 90% of the state budget, not when the state was expecting a huge surplus.. And even then it was a phony hiring freeze. From the Juneau Empire in May 2009:

    http://www.juneauempire.com/stories/052809/loc_444691110.shtml

    "Palin ends hiring freeze

Gov. Sarah Palin is lifting her administration's hiring freeze a month early, but critics say it never should have happened in the first place.
Palin, a Republican, announced the hiring freeze during her State of the State speech in January to a joint session of the Alaska Legislature after prices for North Slope oil fell dramatically.
The freeze did not apply a number of critical jobs, such as public safety or pioneer home employees. Subsequently, the administration added other jobs to the list of critical jobs or issued waivers to allow hiring anyway."

She also fails to mention that:

    1. she championed the largest tax increase in state history, which her successor is trying to undo.

    2. she grew the state operating budget by 35% in just 2 years.

Yup, that's real courage. Saying one thing and doing another.

    You betcha!

First, Gov Christie inherited a fiscal mess, and was forced to make tough decisions for his state. Palin made cuts for the hell of it, and hurt the native population doing so.

Second, is she really trying to compare her work as the mayor of Alaska - yes, no typo, since Alaska is the size (population-wise) of Camden, NJ, and the state of Alaska's budget is less than a third of NJs.

  10. Anonymous4:03 AM

She and RAM are both greedy, ignorant fools. If Palin wanted some votes, she'd back the workers in Wisconsin. BUt that would mean she'd be against the corporate lobbyists who have all the wealth, and for the people 'just like me' who have to work and work hard for a living, accepting a smaller salary to insure they have health care for their families and a pension when they retire. I'm sure Sarah is covered for life, since she and her 'servant's heart' spent a whole 20 months working for those good folks in Alaska. Her pension is probably very generous, and her health care the same. Does anyone know if someone who quits their job still retains benefits in Alaska? Not that the grifter mama can't afford luxury health care and a retirement on an island now.

  16. AKRNC5:35 AM

Gryphen, not only is she jealous of Christie's fame and her ever increasing lack of popularity, she's lying about the budget and the earmarks. If I remember correctly she increased the budget by 35% although I'm going to go through a lot of my bookmarked material to find what I need to back it up. What do you know about earmarks, especially since she loved them as a Mayor and accepted the money for the "bridge to Nowhere" and built a ridiculous "road to Nowhere" wasting hundreds of millions of dollars doing so.

Does Palin ever tell the truth?!?

    Yup, real courage.

ps. Even the Heritage Foundation urged her to cancel the wasteful road project to no avail.

PLEASE send your facts to O'Donnell.

His piece about why Palin was attacking Christie leaves the impression that she may have done what she said she did.

He now needs to dispel that impression with a followup segment pointing out she was not only doing something politically stupid but she was also lying, lying, lying.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymous6:02 AM

Anon at 5:05: I agree. Palin must be wondering how long she can keep her Fox gig. I don't think she's running for president (she's too cowardly and lazy), and the speaking gigs are probably drying up (she said the same things over and over again - boring). Other politicians like Christie are stealing her thunder, and her good friend Beck may be losing his Fox gig as well. She's getting desperate.

Actually, I don't like Christie any more than I like Palin. He is just as far right as she is, only he is able to sound reasonable in a way she never could on her best day. I remember when he was running for governor in 2009, and he clearly stated that he did not want Palin to campaign for him. He knew full well that everything she is involved in turns into a circus, and as divisive as she is, she would have hampered his efforts to win votes across the political spectrum.

Just the same, he has given tax cuts to corporations while shortchanging unions, so he is no better than she is. Frankly, it gives me pleasure to see the circular firing squad among the GOP. I hope that 2012 will be a year of great reckoning for the Party of No.

What is so great about Chris Christie? What did he ever do that was so great? It's all hype from the media. The same way the media tried to hype up $arah Palin as a serious presidential contender. Most people don't even know who he is. Most people don't know enough about him to form a real opinion of him.

It seems some people think he's so great just because he has a big mouth, and an abrasive personality. Kind of like $arah Palin. If Chris Christie were actually running for president against Barack Obama, people would be able to see a clear contrast between the two. Barack Obama would look calm and cool, and presidential, whereas Chris Christie would come off looking like the asshole he is. People didn't like it when John McCain refused to look at Barack Obama during the first Presidential debate, I doubt most people will like Chris Christie shouting and wagging his finger at Barack Obama.

If Chris Christie was so special there would be a huge push by the republican establishment to get him to run for president, but they don't know who they want. Polls are saying most of republican voters don't even know who they want. There is no clear favorite.

First the republican establishment wanted Jeb Bush, then they wanted Mitt Romeny, then Mike Huckabee, Mitch Daniels, John Thune. Now only recently, after ignoring him, did the G.O.P. start talking up Chris Christie, again. They can't seem to agree on one person to get behind. They are desperate.

    Fuck Palin and Chris Christie.

Sarah is jealous that Gov. Christie is getting more attention and is now the Republican darling. You know that this has to eat away at Sarah so she does the only thing she knows how to do...attack.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anonymous7:35 AM

Oh my God! This post will brighten my whole week. They totally called it - swwnbn is so JEALOUS of other politicians "stealing" the attention from her. Of course she had to say something belittling about Christie.

Just you watch, as other GOP possible candidates appear, she will mouth off about their shortcomings, and say how much better she could handle things.

None of the other kids want the spoiled, mean girl at their party, so the mean girl will sneer and sneer as she mashes her face against the window of their "house" wishing she was the "birthday girl" once again, and she and her entourage could travel in luxury, and buy any damn thing they wanted with campaign money.

No wonder her mind is still playing those tapes from 2008.

  32. Anonymous7:46 AM

Sarah was so "good" with finances that, as Governor, she made the State of Alaska completely unattractive for oil and gas exploration. Ignorance of basic business is her legacy as Alaska struggles to bring investment dollars back to discover the new oil needed to keep TAPS from being moth-balled and our Permanent Fund from being stripped.

    Quitter, that's quite the legacy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous8:13 AM

That was a fascinating discussion. It's really got to drive Sarah Palin crazy that they thought she was just jealous because that's her default response to anyone who criticizes or questions her.

I've noticed in sarah's recent video clips - her upper lip below her nose doesn't move at all. it is frozen in place, while the corners of her mouth go up and down, up and down... she looks ridiculous, lol - great work sarah!

Oh, no, it's not a Road to Nowhere. It's a road that goes conveniently close to Murkowski property on Gravina Island. The owner of record is Nancy Murkowski(Frank's wife and Lisa's mother). They didn't have access before the Road to "Somewhere" was built, and if the bridge had also been built, it would have been very beneficial to the Murkowski family property values.

  41. The fact that her gig with Fox may be up, speaking engagements going dry, is one of the reasons why I think she'll attempt a run. I don't think she has any thought that she'll actually win, but that would renew interest in hearing her speak. She could write another book or two. She can talk about that "healthy primary" experience, yada yada blah blah, and guarantee another year or so of speeches, and FOX would likely even consider renewing her contract so we can listen to her bash Obama through his second term.

God, I don't think I could stand it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous10:33 PM

Oh, what complete crap! She increased the operating budget, gave away the $1200 to every man, woman, and child to buy votes just before the election, spent the bridge to nowhere money, built the road to nowhere (which ends where the bridge to nowhere was supposed to start), blew $187,000 on troopergate because she wasn't about to just be honest and tell the truth, spent over $16,000 to live in her own home, blew our money flying her kids around to places they weren't expected and didn't need to go, threw a ton of money away in dairygate, and blew a cool half million dollars on a pipeline we may never see, plus cost us another couple of years we couldn't afford to wait, and raised taxes to the point the oil industry has sent its drilling and production equipment out of state all while throughput in the TAP dwindles. And yet there will be those who believe the bullshit she spews in this clip. Courage is taking responsibility and making tough choices when the money isn't rolling in. She didn't even have enough fortitude to finish her term as governor when oil prices were high and she didn't have any tough choices to make. What a liar she is.

This lame quitter has the nerve to say what other people should do. Even if one does not agree with the politics of the person $p is slamming, at least the many people she slams, have not walked out on their elected position like she did to the citizens of Alaska who elected her.
