Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

There are some days that my city can simply take your breath away.
This is Anchorage yesterday in the evening, when the sky had a gorgeous pink tinge, as captured by my friend (and photographer extraordinaire) Dennis Zaki.
Alaska is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful in the winter. And summer and fall. Springtime, no so much.
Gryphen, please check this report about the impact of the oil spill and cleanup in the Gulf of Mexico: <http://english.aljazeera.net/indepth/features/2011/03/201138152955897442.htm>
Yep. Nothing like the Alpenglow on the Chugach. When my husband and I first bought our house in Anchorage, there was an empty lot behind us and we had a great view of the mountains. Then they built a house and we lost it. :(
We used to joke about blowing up the house and getting our view back. :D

Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteToo bad more of the people there aren't (and I don't mean physically).
