Howard Dean on Fox News: "It is not a news organization. It is a very expensive, incredibly well funded right wing propaganda organization."

This, by the way, did not sit well with Greta Van "Sucks to be Palin's BFF."

It is sort of weird….but it seems that Howard Dean can’t get Fox News Channel out of his mind. Every time I see him quoted (or maybe not every time), he is taking a swipe at Fox. First, he needs to understand Fox is not why he lost Iowa in 2004. Even the “Dean scream” is not why ( the scream occurred AFTER he lost… and came in 3rd.) Second, his constant swipes makes him look like he is afraid of Fox – he makes his cracks but has turned down all our (ON THE RECORD AT 10pm) requests that he be a guest. Third, while he is highly critical of Fox he has not explained his recent remark that a government shutdown would be good for the Democrats (seemingly wanting a shutdown for political reasons at the expense of what is good for the country.)

I am actually curious what ideas he has for the country. We need ideas….he might want to focus on ideas instead of old grudges.

Yeah well Greta can spin and obfuscate all she wants, Dean is right, and on some level I think she KNOWS he is right, and hates herself for having to defend the Fox propaganda machine.

Of course that is undoubtedly just one of the reasons that Greta hates what her life has become.

If Greta would only apply the same standard to Palin...

  2. You know, I don't get the appeal of Greta for Fox viewers. Yes, she's blond but don't the viewers find her bland and boring? For all their low intellect and verbal gaffes, at least the other hosts show you some personality, even if the audience does not realize they are playing a character or being "provocateurs" as Bill O'Reilly recently admitted.

Roger Ailes created the model of Fox and MSNBC. Both are identical in goals, except obviously one is left and the other right .

Both should be condemned and ignored by the masses.

and to 5:39, the whole country is still wondering what this admin has planned for America, why theyve made the decisions they have at a time when said decisions are detrimental

Mendacity pays great. You don't need any qualifications. Anybody can be a professional liar. All the Fox hosts are smart enough to know what they are doing. It's a sense of entitlement and the lure of riches that allows them to tear down the country and hold their conscience in check. For now.

Fox Lies. Bullshit for the gullible.

Greta seems not to have noticed Palin's constant swipes at the President and lamestream media, which just goes to show how correct Dean is.

Every thinking person should indeed be afraid of Fox "News." There is a direct correlation between the downward curve in reasoning in this country and the rising influence of Fox.

If you truly cared for your country, Greta, you would not work as a stooge for Fox.

So it's ok for Greta's BFF to insult the real media, but not ok for Howard Dean to diss a fake media organization. I see.

I know it's impossible for her to defend Fox News with a straight face, but did she really say this with a straight face?

How far she's fallen. She is actually an amazing person for all she's accomplished - but to see her dance as fast as she can trying to legitimize this sham of a fair and balanced newsmag channel is a shame.

Love your comments Gryph. I remember Greta from the OJ Simpson trial and she seemed like a trustworthy, girl next door, breath of fresh air. The lawyer who could provide legal commentary. She was respected then.

I think you may be right about her hating what her life has become. She is now a plain faced, old hag compared to the other bimbos in the stable. And instead of being a leader in her field of legal commentary, she is spewing hate. And pretending to believe Sarah Palin is an intellectual giant.

I almost felt bad for her for a second, but no, she deserves to hate what her life has become. I can't stand her.

I'm glad Howard Dean is speaking out about this. It needs to be said more often. They are NOT news. They out and out lie and I do not understand why they get away with it.

    Thanks for posting, Gryphen.

I had a coworker who said that the whole cash for clunkers program was a way for the government to steal your bank data and take your money, and was warning everybody. I said, "where did you hear that, Fox news?" He said Yes!

Greta sold her soul. I wonder if the Scientologists are somehow connected to FOX? That would freak out all the conservatives :)

  19. "Greta Van Susteren (born June 11, 1954) is a lawyer turned journalist, journalist turned TV personality, TV personality turned babbling idiot in the presence of a barracuda, and a dick. She is also one of the leading causes of Palinitis, an inflammatory condition in which the sufferer just cannot seem to rid his or her consciousness of a certain northern governor with a penchant for Manolos and moose chili. Symptoms include general irritation, intestinal discomfort, and the sudden urge to go out and buy a pair of rimless glasses. As of yet, no known cure exists."

Substitute "she" for "he", and I'd think Greta was talking about Sarah Palin. Interesting. I know Greta's not stupid, so I have to conclude that she is a huge hypocrite.

Fox News konspiracy kook Glenn Beck
would not have a job at Fox if it was a real news organization. Glenn wants some fone seks.

"Audio: Glenn Beck wants to "make sweet telephonic love" to Michele Bachmann".

    http://www.dumpbachmann.com/2011/04/audio-glen-beck-wants-to-make-sweet.html

It's about the incandescent light bulb conspiracy. Question for the konspiracy kooks: Which large corporations are still using energy and profit wasting incandescent bulbs? Which large corporations sponsor this Faux Newz lightbulb kookery on the airwaves? Because not wasting energy, saving on utility bills, and not polluting are so ...well they sure aren't conservative ideas anymore.

Everyone that works at Fox is always defensive when someone calls them on their agenda.

Greta used to be respected as a journalist but has now morphed into simply being a mouthpiece for the Fox propaganda machine.

Fox News and their guests never have any ideas, just criticism, lies, and talking points.
