In her Fox News interview yesterday Palin attacks President Obama for being ignorant on energy, running for office instead of running the country, and stealing the 2008 election with foreign money.

Klondike Kardashian starts her vicious attack by blaming President Obama for the high gas prices and using her shoddy record as Governor as an example to, and this part is almost unbelievable, shame him for his performance.

Her assertion that cutting subsidies would hurt smaller oil companies, and their ability to find new oil resources, is a straw man argument at best.  By the way how does the Queen of the Teabaggers justify supporting government handouts to corporations making billions of dollars in profits when their whole philosophy is supposedly to cut government waste? It has become increasingly transparent that Palin is now a shameless corporate whore.

But then around the 2:07 mark Palin gets flustered by Baier's question and seems to change her position entirely, now suggesting that the oil companies are huge corporate entities who use their numerous lobbyists to funnel as much profit as possible to their shareholders. This time when asked again about subsidies Palin avoids the question entirely and instead accuses the President of not knowing what he is doing when it comes to energy.

At the 3:38 mark Baier asks Palin if she were a member of Congress whether or not she would vote against raising the debt ceiling.  Palin answers with a "Hells no!"  (When in fact she actually meant "Hell's yes!") Then she goes on an uninformed rant about not needing to raise the debt ceiling because America "rakes in" 6 billion dollars a day and should, instead of paying to keep the government running on a day to day basis, simply use every penny of that money to pay down the national debt. She then goes on to say that the states should be left to worry about paving their own roads, building their own monuments, and supporting their own "cowboy poetry." (Wow, does Palin hate cowboys!  I wonder how that plays in the Mat-Su Valley?)

By the way, does Palin not understand that having the states pay for these things would STILL mean raising taxes on Americans?  And that without the Federal government financial support which Alaska has gratefully received for these last fifty two years we would still be stuck in the nineteenth century, relying on gravel roads, carrying our own human waste to the local iced over pond in honey buckets, and communicating with our friends and neighbors around the state using ham radio sets?

Then Baier attempts to nail Palin down on her plans for 2012.  "Haven't decided yet." is her response, after which Baier reminds her that Fox pays her to be an "analyst" and suggests she offer an opinion on the rest of the potential GOP field instead.

Palin refuses to say much about anybody in particular, instead waxing poetically about the importance of the process and how it should not simply come down to a handful of "elites" or "chosen ones." (This was said immediately after being asked about Mitt Romney.)

Speaking of "elites" the very next question is about Donald Trump (8:21) and here Palin completely switches gears, commending his courage, and defending his right to "throw out good ideas." (You know like asking the President to prove he was born in America, or what his grades were in school, or wondering out loud who wrote his books for him. You know, good ideas like that.)

When asked about Michele Bachman, Palin says she respects her because she has had to "go up against the elites, if you will in the party, and buck some tide." (WTF, is "buck some tide?")

Baier tries his best to nail Snooki down by reminding her that she said she would only get in the race if she did not see anybody who she felt she could support, and suggesting they were now at the point for her to make that decision.

Palin responds with a brusque, "We're not to that point yet Brett." (Translation: "I can still milk this thing and squeeze donations out of my ignorant supporters  for at least another year yet, so why would I strangle that golden goose now?")

After Palin brings up the fact that the Obama campaign has already started, by way of attacking him, Baier uses that to suggest it is time for the Republicans to get serious and start their own campaigns if they hope to have any chance against him in the upcoming election.

This REALLY pisses Palin off, and she responds with: "Nope the point is our President should be buckling down and trying to find solutions to the challenges facing this country!"

Baier: "It doesn't matter how much he raises?"

Palin: "You know I do not want to believe that the American political process is going to come down to who has the most money. If that's the case? Count me out!"

Well I already counted her out a long time ago, but it is good to hear that she does not realize that having tons of money to spend in a Presidential campaign is a very necessary part of the American political system and that she is admitting she can not compete if it is.

But then the Grizzled Mama gets REALLY ugly (9:08) by suggesting that Obama's 2008 campaign was partially financed by foreign money, which of course is illegal.

To his credit Bret Baier asks Palin directly if she is suggesting that the FEC "would find that foreign money got into the Obama campaign?"

Here Palin seems a little unsure of her "facts" and tries to hand the ball over to Baier: “Am I wrong to bring up the fact, and maybe Bret at this point, you have more information than I do on where a lot of those dollars were that were unaccounted for. Remember we saw much proof of a lot of the contributions to Obama’s campaign credit card contributions under fake names, and addresses that perhaps weren’t even real addresses in the US, you know I certainly hope that we won’t give up on making sure that we have free and fair elections. Not just Obama’s, heck some on the GOP too, on the GOP side. Let’s make sure rules are being followed. We are a land of laws."

Leaving that accusation just hanging in the air, Baier simply ends the interview without providing cover for Palin, leaving her to suffer the sting of the forthcoming criticisms for her outlandish statements all by her stupid self.

This represents and even lower, new low for Palin.  She is clearly still so embittered by her loss to President Obama that she must accuse him of cheating in order to justify how a black man could have beaten her, and the old guy that was running with her, back in 2008.

As Geoffrey Dunn is so brilliantly pointing out in his book, Palin is the very definition of "competitive," and when she loses MUST find a reason to explain it that does not call into question her own lack of ability, nor assign her any fault.

Toward that end, Palin will even accuse the President of the United States of stealing an election.

And you know, coming from somebody who benefited from the corrupt GOP political machine in Alaska, that is just the absolute height of hypocrisy.

(BTW, and this is somewhat off topic, but it appears to me that Palin is spending the majority of her time in Arizona, near Bristol, and has barely stepped foot in Alaska for several months now. My sources have recently suggested that the Shailey Tripp, and Dillingham love child,  revelations were too much for Sarah and that a Palin divorce is imminent. This is still in the gossip stages, but there is certainly plenty of circumstantial evidence to support that contention)

sarah was in alaska for most of april. I've heard her say in a video posted to facebook that she has this AZ residence because "it's easier to do her work"

She still references Todd when discussing anything of substance. I'm pretty confident their relationship could survive anything. It already has

Smear Obama, Inc. at work. She is one of their high-ranking officers. Thanks for the break down of her usual evasive, lying, twisted, propaganda and misinformation tirade that she is paid to spit out at the country. The place that FINALLY gave her a degree must've given her a BS (bull sheet) degree in lunacy. She comes across as rather desperate these days. And, by the way, she is not fit to empty Obama's wastebasket.

I thought this interview was great and already commented on several of your points yesterday. The folks at FOX must have been given the go ahead to hold Sarah accountable and I hope we see more and more of this. It certainly shines her in a more true-to-life color.

Speaking of true-to-life. Why do people think that if you take something, like a nice smile, and go beyond natural to a pure white smile, that you look even better? Teeth that white are freakish and weird. (Sarah is far from alone on this. It is a trend and Sarah always seems to be on the look-out for things like that.)

I don't think I've ever seen her this hyper and pissed off on a faux news interview. It angers me to no end that she even thinks she is on any level to be criticizing our President. I fervently hope the books coming out will finally put an end to her in the public discourse of this country.

I can't decide whether she's lost her handlers or not.

She's not wearing a wig here - is that because no one is around to put it on her or is it because there IS someone around who won't let HER put it on?

Beyond the look, her answers were all over the place - more so than usual. Is she off the meds or did she take too many?

Either way - Sarah is becoming increasingly unhinged.

Becky must be feeling very sad.

The end of the ride is in sight and it's going to be a rough landing.

  10. The $2 million dollars that Palin and other ignoramuses throw around as the figure that Obama spent trying to avoid presenting his birth certificate, is actually the rough figure he paid for attorney fees after his President campaign. Most of that went to the FEC audit, to which every President since 1976 has been subjected. Apparently the FEC audit didn't find evidence of illegal contributions or other wrongdoing. Palin is just vomiting up the bitter bile of envy. She's going to choke on it one day.

It's now official. The moneyed elite and Republican establishment (and, her employer, Fox) is busy exposing how empty-headed Snooki is.

I think that Sarah's "with Alaskan heart" statement was a clue that she isn't in AK anymore but doesn't want to give up the image of being from AK since it is part of her frontier-woman appeal.

I also guess that she and Todd have one of these open-ended separations where they stay married but lead separate lives until one of them meets a person that they would like to marry.

I was curious about the background, too. It doesn't look like Lake Louise, does it?

I can't stand to listen again, but isn't there a point where she claims we should not raise the national debt ceiling to give a "message" to the American people that we're serious about the deficit, but then she says other countries need to be given the "message" that we're serious about cutting spending - isn't that exactly ass-backwards three-sixties ways around?

Not raising the debt ceiling will send a HUGE negative message internationally. The domestic message that would send is irrelevant, because Americans wouldn't know what it means. And other countries don't need to know we're interested in cutting domestic spending - that doesn't affect them at all.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but everything that comes out of her pie-hole is both incorrect and ass-backwards - she can't even get the right-wing talking points right, let alone the actual economic facts.

She likes ultimate control of her environment whether in speaking venues, or the backdrops in her studio. She is a coward who cries in the shadows, sending wails of pain when someone discovers the truth behind a lie and shines light on the facts. She points to others and accuses them of her darkest fantasies because she is too afraid to admit those dreams are hers.

She is a Golem, shriveling up inside herself, intent upon stealing her Pretty, Pretty Prize. She doesn't care who she has to destroy to get it either. Hers is a twisted, dark path and she continually tries to make all of us walk it with her.

I have to laugh whenever I read or hear about Palin's lobbing of rocks at our president from her shiny glass house. She is still so stuck emotionally in 2008 and licking her wounds that her hatred for President Obama has not abated. I find it both goofy and ironic that a woman whose spouse belonged to AIP would have the nerve to bring up William Ayers when her association with AIP was much more significant. The fact that she would accuse him of campaigning instead of running the country is especially dumb coming from an ex-governor who quit her most important job in order to become a prize grifter who injected herself into politics all over the country. But funniest of all is her assertion that he "stole" the 2008 presidential election with foreign money when she is a member of the very party that got contributions from Citizens United as well as from the Chamber of Commerce in 2010. She is unwilling and unable to acknowledge that she played a big part in why she and McCain lost. All of these issues underscore her inability to appreciate irony when it's staring her in her face.

So now with the accusations of Obama cheating the 2008 elections, Sarah has salved her ego and gotten her PR statement in order for her excuse to not be able to run for 2012 as a divorcee. And National Enquirer quality divorcee at that.

She just said so. She can't raise the money (unless she cheats like Obama).

This woman is going to fall apart over her divorce, period. People don't go through that type of life crisis without reacting to it, for a time. I don't care if Sarah believes she is invincible, or if Sarah is glad to be rid of Todd. I don't care if they had a loveless marriage. Doesn't matter. They have shared decades of their lives, they have children together.

Her seething rage at Obama is perhaps generalized seething rage; at Todd, at men, who knows?

He didn't cooperate with her plan to take over the world, see? How dare he??????

The meltdown is here, right in front of our eyes.

She is one horribly evil broad. Lie upon lie - deceit upon deceit and constantly unethical in everything she says and does.

    Great commentary, Gryphen!

I bet Mittens and the other candidates have recorded this beauty of a speech, and will play clips as opposition if she decides to run.

She contradicts herself at every turn, and the hypocrisy of her accusations is just breath-taking.

    She has zero self-awareness.

I hope she and Trump decide to run together. When those two look in the mirror, they must see King and Queen of the Universe, not the fat orange guy and the ignorant, spiteful harpy.

Emotionally she is still in 2008, and her reality show, horrible speech after Gabby was shot, and Wisconsin speech were "campaigning" for the next election.

She isn't openly declaring herself a candidate, to keep that "Fox Analyst" money coming in. Which causes me to speculate that SarahPac is not pulling in the dollars she had hoped for.

I think Scara and Toad have screwed around on each other from day one of their "marriage".

I doubt that T. would want to let go of his little cash cow at this stage of the game, or that S. would want a divorce so close to the next election, but stranger things have happened.

I feel a little bit mean, in hoping that they are together4ever.

She better be careful talking about 'cowboys' - remember, Rick Perry (TX) is her friend. And, boy is he pissed at President Obama...for President Obama going to the southland after the tornados and not giving the highlight to TX and its fires.

Rick didn't want the U.S. government involved in his state and even suggested TX succeed from the Union. And, now he wants the U.S. government's help and admonished our President because he didn't go to TX to view where the fires occurred? Another friggin Republican asshole in the form of Gov. Perry!

And, I'm more than happy that President Obama didn't publicly respond to Gov. Perry.

And, yes, I feel badly about the fires experienced in TX and the death of their two firemen.

But, the southern states have lost over 300 in deaths plus horrid distruction that far exceeds what occurred in TX. President Obama made the correct decision in going south showing his support.

We don't like her up here in Alaska and I think the message has gotten out to her loud and clear.

I think more Alaskans will REALLY not approve of her once the upcoming three books are published (McGinniss, Bailey and Dunn). We'll have the names (via 900 emails in Bailey's book that will be included as proof sources) of folks she defamed within Alaska. And, there are many!

I talked to someone in AZ yesterday and he said he use to really like Palin but doesn't any longer. He said the word is 'slowly' getting out about the negative side of her and folks are actually seeing and believing the information which is being shown and talked about throughout the US. It's information we've known in Alaska for years.

She better not run for the highest office in the land because she will be crucified.

Golf courses, water fountains, vast expanses of heavily fertilized and watered lawns. Maricopa is surrounded by desert scrubland. Wouldn't know it when you watch the video. Do Sarah and Bristol have somebody drive them when they leave the "oasis" so that they can hide behind tinted windows and not look at the dry scrubland, dairy feedlots, and reservations? Arizona doesn't need more people like them. They have enough assholes down there already.

  95. Besides her usual criticism of the President without any facts or credentials to back it up, I took a couple of things away from this interview:

1)She seemed to get real irritated by the fact that the President will probably be able to raise a billion dollars. She knows that she can't to that and that it really gets to her that the President has the support to do it.

    2) She gives less than a ringing endorsement to all of the potential Republican candidates. I really believe that she thinks that she is the kingmaker and that anyone who runs needs her seal of approval and if nobody meets her standards, she will jump in and run.
