Bristol Palin on Good Morning America today showing off her new face and shoveling piles of BS.

Bristol is completely dead wrong about those teen pregnancy shows.

They are ABSOLUTELY showing young teen girls that it's glamorous to have babies. In fact they are telling them that it is the fast track to fame and fortune, and SHE is the worst promoter of that insidious falsehood.

Yet just like her mom she simply blames the media and takes NO responsibility at all for her complicity.

Essentially she is doing the same kind of damage to the fight against teen pregnancy that her mom did to the women's movement.

So did Bristol collect her six figure paycheck from Neil Cole after the interview?

Funny how 2/3 of this segment was old footage,he, he.

lol the irony of her sitting there blaming the media for making stars out of preggo teens, while she sits there with a new plastic face that she never could have gotten if the media didn't make her famous for being a preggo teen. brisdull is more stupid and more oblivious than her mother, and that truely is sad.

Why exactly are all these networks interviewing this void?

Completely agree @emrysa. This dumb girl couldn't spell irony if her life depended on it.

I think a more effective Candies advertising campaign would feature a broad cross-section of real-life teen mothers - ones who actually can tell the tale of struggling to make ends meet; ones who can't run home to their seven-figure mommy when life gets too real.

I could not believe how they did NOT want the camera on her new face in this interview. SO SAD. She has ruined her "brand" with her brand new face.

Bristol has a difficult time because she's a single mother with no education. How could she afford school with all her facial surgeries, no mortgage, nanny, red carpet dates, speaking engagements, free travel/lodging, DWTS fame, being a paid "consultant" by SarahPAC, new furniture, and free shoes?

Single mothers like Bristol have it rough (not life, sex).

While they agree weight loss can make a face more angular, it doesn't change bone structure. The irony is, Bristol really hasn't lost weight! Her legs and arms look the same, and the shapeless shift dresses shes been wearing hide a multitude of flaws.

Ok, this is absolutely ludicrous. It's time to hold Candie's responsible for choosing to use this young woman (teen still, almost not?) as their spokesperson.

Their very contract, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, means she is not a typical teen mother in this country.

I can't get over that goof asking if she had to chase her toddler around - as if that were some sort of hardship in itself!

This is outrageous, and Candie's needs to be held accountable.

They could put that money to much better use. I think we need to research the backers, they clearly are GOP oriented.

Time to boycott and call them out on this.

WTF? Asked who does she think is going to win DWTS and Bristol said that she can't endorse anyone right now?

    Again WTF?

    What happened to loyalty Bristol?

When Joe Miller did not come out to endorse Sarah Palin the shit hit the fan in the Palin household.

So Mark had to work harder than he ever has on DWTS and took Bristol's fat ass to the finals and she can't endorse him.

My oh my, what short memory we have there Bristol. Not even $350,000 finalist money can't help Bristol remember who got her to the finals.

Don't forget Bristol, it was Mark from DWTS who bought you that house in Arizona. The house you practice abstinence in with the boys in. LOL

I don't think this girl has a chance. She is already so dysfunctional and is still heading down that road. She will never stop - I think it is too late for her to get sane. Too much pressure now to keep producing whatever interest she is producing for herself and her family. Quite frankly, I feel like I have been in a really bizarre dream for over two years. I cannot believe what is happening to our country.
OK, maybe I had a glass of wine - maybe two - cannot seem to remember.

  14. Good grief, just like her mom, Bristol blames the media - on how wrong they are for making 'stars' out of pregnant teens.

Well, those teens have parents who could put their foot down & not parade them on a TV show. I sure wouldn't allow my child at such a vulnerable state to face the public this way or the Sarah did/does with her children. And, just in case the Palins don't know, those TV shows are not the news media.

If I were Bristol trying to strike it out on my own, I'd be pretty pissed off that CBS showed so much footage of my mother. They didn't have to waste precious air time showing Sarah accepting the RNC nomination, or her fake fishing day out. But then again, Bristol didn't have much to say, either, on their morning show.

Also to point out to the guy at CBS, Bristol is no longer a teenager.

Who's watching her son? When I was raising my son - as a single, but adult mom, child care was a huge expense. What does she do when she travels?

    Arghhhhhh ....

It's too bad that shows like Good Morning America need to scrape the bottom of the barrel for ratings. It's time for people to write to them (and anyone else) who give Bristol a format to say "do as I say, not as I did, and by the way, having a kid when you're a teen makes you a celebrity."

Seriously, if 17,000 people could write to the Indy 500 and protest Donald Trump's driving the celebrity pace car, they should be equally outraged at this plastic make believe mother, who is exploiting her son and her pregnancy for....for no other reason than to make money as a result having had a baby while she was an unwed teen.

Oh, and Bristol, I don't think that you'll be having any serious relationships for a while because no guy can marry you and upset the apple cart, gravy train and your cash cow. Pretty face, what a waste.

The fact that teens idolize Snooki is what is devastating to the future. No one cares about teen moms. But the more exposure and money jersey shore cast et al receive, the more effed we are. But that's how the US has always been. Hollywood started with pretty dropouts escaping small towns and it will continue to breed them as long as people pay.

And teen pregnancy won't end because mistakes happens others follow suit to raise children together. Remember the baby boom of 2000?

This is one of the problems with our country since about 20 years ago. The 24-hour news cycle leaves so much empty time most of the time that idiots like Sarah Palin and her even more idiotic daughter get treated like significant people. I know lots of struggling young families that would make much better "poster children" for the mainstream media.

    They're setting her up.

On the clip Gryphen showed in his earlier post about Bristol, the segment ended (after Bristol talked about how hard it is to be a single teen mom and how she doesn't have an education or a steady job) with the host of the show announcing she was paid 260k by Candies.

And here, they are broadcasting her new face and showing her "sexy" DWTS moves and she keeps talking about how difficult teen motherhood has been for her. Meanwhile, everyone is talking about how much money she's earned and all her plastic surgery.

Bristol will be on the trash heap of reality tee vee as soon as the media wrings every drop of ratings out of her. Rating on the way up, ratings on the way down. Enjoy the ride!

It will be Sarah's turn soon. It's taken a while, but when it happens, Sarah will learn what it's like to take an actual wile ride.

Buh bye, Bristol. Hope you're saving some of that cash, but something tells me, you'll be selling your digs in Arizona for a loss and moving back to the compound with nothing in your pocket but your humility. I wonder if you can still get that receptionist job you used to have (but this time, they'll expect you to work full time to earn your paycheck).

Those unwed MTV teen moms have their pictures plastered on the covers of tabloid magazines every week, glorifying their unplanned pregnancies, the fights that they have with their babies' fathers, with boy friends, and all of their other exploits, including getting arrested. They don't seem to care as much about their children as they do in making money, being famous, getting in trouble.....and why are they such popular role models on TV?

Bristol can't keep up with them, no matter how much plastic surgery she has. Bristol has a ghost written book to sell, all about her 20 years of life. There must be at least a chapter or two of Levi bashing in there, not to mention bashing all of the people who were jealous of her when she danced with the stars. Bristol is still trying to land her own TV reality show, and the Arizona house is supposed to be the launch pad for her Hollywood aspirations.

We know that Bristol and Sarah read every remark written about them. Listen, Bristol, it is clear that you are still immature, uneducated and you don't do your kid any favors by exploiting him. You are free to mess us your own face and your own life, but you are also responsible for an innocent little boy. It is hard enough for single parents to deal with life, without having to look at how much money you make for having gotten knocked up and making money for doing that. You kept the baby, good for you. Now, grow up, accept responsibility and become a good parent instead of trying to be a lame celebrity. And, you might like to include the child's father in his life.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Anonymous5:19 PM

Between this and all of the effort behind attacking Planned Parenthood -- it almost as if they want the "underclass" to start having babies, especially all of the young women. And when they become desperate with all of those mouths to feed.... then what?

So strange when you think about it. There is some reason for all of this. I'm not quite sure what it is, but someone (the Koch brothers, perhaps) wants there to be a population increase of serfs for some purpose.

This interview, like all interviews with Bristol is infantile. Like asking a celebrity pre-teen how life is with their new dog. Answers like, "it's great, Scampy runs around all day and tires me out". "Yeah, I really think that kids should think first before buying a dog".

OK, so after Bristol gets thanked by the host on being so honest about how hard it is, I wonder, how shallow and stupid that clip was. It's a waste of people's precious time. How many kids are watching news in the morning, they're all at school, unless they're home with mono.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Anonymous7:55 PM

I can tell you what Tripp is missing in his life, a real life, the kind that other kids have. Tripp belongs in a little kiddie play group, something simple for a short time a couple of times of week. It's about learning to play with other kids, maybe learning some skills, and it just might give Bristol a chance to meet other mothers with kids the same age.

If Bristol is complaining about how hard it is to take care of him, she isn't going to get any sympathy from parents who have actually taken care of their children. That's the big responsibility that she took on when she had unprotected sex. Tripp deserves a normal childhood, but growing up with Sarah Palin as your mother is not a good role model for mothering for Bristol. Happy Mothers Day, kid.

    interview, and I think she
    looks like a totally different
person than the lion freak from
the other night. It looks like
she has a new chin, and maybe
    bigger lips, but she isn't
as mangled as she looked over
    the weekend. Could it really
    be 2 different women? How
can she look like a plastic
    creep/Snooki one day, and
    rather normal, but not entirely
    right, the next?

The damage that Palin et Fille has wreaked upon the cause of feminism is innumerable. But that does not stop me from making a list and checking it twice.

    1) Running as a qualified, electable female candidate, when the record shows you have no qualifications, little education and no ability to govern.

2)Making money from and deriving political power from the birth of a disabled child while hardly lifting a finger to actually raise funds for, or contribute same to, disabled children and/or adults from your own pocketbook, all the time collecting a hefty speaker's fee.

3)Going to great lengths to dress in a manner that draws more attention to your body, feet, hair, boobs, skirt length, than your mind.

4)Supporting your daughter in her hapless attempt at "convincing" teens against premarital sex and pregnancy, all the while the daughter, in her own words, appears to champion premarital sex and teen pregnancy, also by her own example, see highly sexualized presentations on Dancing with the Stars.

5)Indulging in such idiocies as tanning beds, plastic surgery, enhanced booby-bras. Mother/daughter.

This last item, most tragic in its consequence, is the bottom of the barrel failure for Palin as a mother, when her own daughter, fine and healthy, elects to have plastic surgery at such a young age.

The two of them are making a joke out of what it really means to be a woman, a mother, and a female politician in this country.

This was not what I had envisioned on the "front lines" of feminism in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Nor what I find acceptable for me, or my own daughter, in the 21st Century.

Way back then, I thought the enemies were unenlightened males. Little did I imagine that 50 years hence the enemy would be unenlightened, predatory, manipulative females, whose brains were as empty as a cookie jar in a room full of toddlers. Sad day.

I will look at the other thread, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the idea of a few "cosmetic procedures" was proposed to allow her to be in the hospital, to be in some kind of recovery or convalescence and out of the public eye - giving the public a reason for her absence, essentially.

They probably didn't realize these adjustments would end up being so extreme.

During the AK Palin family reality show, there was a scene with Piper and Sarah -- Piper was asked to do something by Sarah and Piper responded with "what will you give me if I do". It struck me at the time that this was routine; Palin has to bribe or pay her kids to do her bidding.

With Bristol, I suspect that her cooperation with DWTS and the disposition of her recent baby was bought and paid for by the mama grizzly. Her fee included the AZ house and the plastic surgery. For 20 pieces of silver, she has stashed away the latest babe.

This country and it's phoney-baloney Media allowed GWB to steal two elections and lie his way into two unfunded wars, but we're surprised that an untalented, uneducated, grifter with nothing to recommend her has wormed her way into the eye of that Media? Please.

Equally baffling to me is that Olive Garden applying for a building permit in Anchorage is what passes as breaking news for the ADN.

The hard part about being a teenage mother is chasing your toddler around the house and being on DWTS? TV shows about teenage pregnancy don't glamorize it, the media does?

    me·di·a
    [mee-dee-uh] –noun
    1. a plural of medium.
    2. ( usually used with a plural verb ) the means of communication, as radio and television, newspapers, and magazines, that reach or influence people widely: The media are covering the speech tonight.

I like to think that we women choose to look as good as we can with whatever means we have to do it. I do not want to go back to the days that all feminists looked like saggy women with poor bras and grey hair. Within reason we can improve our looks. We can wear makeup and proper clothing and bras and even some can improve upon mother nature with surgical assistance. I for one was always turned off by the Betty Friedans and Gloria Steinems with their grey hair and no makeup and lack of fashion sense. Let's all agree that women can be empowered to look our best with the tools available to us. Feminism doesn't have to look like it did in the olden days of the 70's.

Not to say that Bristol or Sarah embody the feminist movement, but don't disparage those of us that want to look our best using all of the tools that are available. Feminism doesn't mean frumpy fashion, grey hair and birkenstocks any more.

A young woman told me just this week how wrong she thought those shows were because they give the impression that if you get pregnant as a single teen, you can be on television and become rich and famous and everything will be great.

She knows first hand what single parenting is like when you aren't rich and famous, and it sure isn't anything like Bristol's life. Bristol has it extremely easy by comparison and should keep her mouth shut.

Why are we still doing this? Why are we paying attention and _giving_ attention? When the world stops buying this crap, they'll stop selling it.

Gryphen, it's time to help us help you. Time to pay the piper, so to speak.
If this is a paying gig that supports you and your family, I respect that and would choose to be a reader intentionally, knowing that. The source of income is not important to me; just a detail.
If it's not, I can no longer in good conscience participate in marketing the Palins and in particular, provide free promotion of Bristol's really harmful stuff. Which is what we're all participating in, right now.

I want to know what's happening and stay informed, but there's a limit. This is gratuitous.

    Palin Pops Out
    ...
"Palin, like Sheen, overexposed herself, overfilled the bird feeder. It was a mistake for her to do the Alaskan reality-TV show, an even bigger mistake for her to sign on as a Fox News contributor, because they robbed her of any specialness she had; no matter how queenly her appearances were treated by likes of Greta and Sean, she was in rotation with Mike Huckabee, Karl Rove, and others disparaging Obama and the Democrats--i.e., just another Fox News nagger.

And her appearances became increasingly discordant, her wearing a Star of David that looked as if it came out of the Elizabeth Taylor collection and answering every question as if he trying to be heard over the wind. She has no ability or willingness to modulate her tone or her emotional range on camera or off, as evidenced by her stunningly insensitive "blood libel" reference after the near fatal shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords."

What's funniest is that in the story linked by 4:42, the picture in the bottom right of the collage of 4, you can see a bit of weight cropping up behind that jaw line. Someone needs to tell Bristol that liposculpture only works until you put the fat back on. She needs a nutritionist, a trainer, and a therapist.

Bristol says it's so hard being a teen mom. Give me a break!! I was a single mom of two at age 23 driving a piece of shit car and counting pennies to buy milk. She has NOOO idea how hard it really is if your not getting paid three figures and dear ol' Mom is worth millions! Try getting yelled at by the landlord because your rent is late or boiling water on the electric stove so you have hot water to bathe because your gas got shut off!!

Good grief! Girls see that she got a job with or without a Highschool deploma . Only had to work 3 months or so and got to go on DWTS. Hang around with Mark Ballas. Got to have several boyfriends, getting back with Levi and than no again. Money for Magazine articles photes ,an spokesman and all she had to do is say " don't do what I did it's so hard." Got a brand new car. House paid for with cash, plastic surgery ,clothes hair extentions and seems to have plenty of time that she doesn't have a child tagginng along. oh I forgot she has nannies. Would any of this discourage any teenager or make them want what she has?
