President Obama's Weekly Address.
Obviously focusing on creating better clean energy solutions is the way to solve our long term dependence on foreign oil.
Only an idiot would continue to use the "Drill here, drill now" mantra to address this very serious problem. But considering the source, I guess that goes without saying doesn't it?
As we have learned in dramatic fashion this last week, this is a man who solves problems, not one who hides behind catch phrases and talking points. And knowing that should make EVERY American sleep more securely at night.

I agree with you Gryphen. -- I am reading "Singular Woman: The Untold Story of Barack Obama's Mother"- It gives the history of PO's upbringing through the life of his mother; the hardships, the discipline, the travels, the insights... She supported his full potential, something all parents can learn from.

I was so looking forward to reading it and the comments...but after loading my google reader again...the link to the page was there but the actual page was gone :( What gives?
ReplyDeleteDid you hear the GOP response? They were still talking about bin laden and still trying to steal credit away from Obama. Like usual, Obama was a step ahead of them and returning to the issues that really matter. Bravo, Barry!
ReplyDeleteIt took two years, but this President is finally coming into his own, and its driving the right even more insane than they already were! Love it! The ONLY way forward is to stop this ridiculous dependence on oil, any oil. The oil we drill is not ours...it goes on the world market, as a true 'energy expert' like Sarah would know. If she were truly interested in 'energy independence,' she would support taxing oil companies just as she did when she was pseudo-governor. It is shockingly apparent that the right has no clue how to make this country independent of bowing down to corporations, and no desire to do so anyway. Bravo, Mr. President!

I read tomorrow's Sunday news talk shows are heavily unbalanced, using majority Repubs, go figure!......greedy F'ers, no surprises there, they are always on the attack. Well, I hope they make asses out of themselves.
