As Levi Johnston, 21, prepares to release his expose, Deer In The Headlights: My Life In Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs in September — the Palin family are begging him to end his attacks on the ex-Governor and be a proper dad.
“Levi’s seen Tripp maybe just a handful of times in the last year,” a source tells Star magazine. “There were months when he and Bristol were both in Alaska and he didn’t visit.”
“It would be nice to think that Levi would like to have some sort of relationship with his child, but so far that hasn’t happened.”
It’s not the first time Levi’s been accused of abandoning his son — back in January, Bristol, 20, told the Bob & Mark Radio Show her former fiance had spent just 12 hours with his son since she ended her stint on Dancing With The Stars the previous fall.
A source close to the Palins tells HollyBaby.com that Levi is an absentee father, adding that Bristol offers him plenty of opportunity to see Tripp, but he declines the offers.
We have put out numerous calls and emails to Levi’s attorney and manager, but those calls have remained unanswered.
Is it time Levi stopped his war with the Palins, if only for the sake of his son?
My understanding about this whole thing is that Bristol has made it almost impossible for Levi to see Tripp by essentially moving him out of state, that she will only give Levi a few hours notice as to when he can see the boy, and that when he IS able to spend time with him she places numerous restrictions on where they can go and who Tripp is allowed to be around.
Essentially she does not want Tripp around Mercede, who has not seen her nephew since January.
This, by the way, is why I was so adamant that Levi get a good attorney and fight for joint custody of his son. Anybody who did not see this kind of thing coming has simply not been paying attention to how this family operates.
And as others have already noticed apparently this, "The parties agree that they shall not allow the child to visit with, or interact with, any family member who publicly ... or in front of the child, criticizes the other parent or the other parent's family," only goes one way.
A lot of this is Levi's fault for not fighting this family tooth and nail in court, but I also know that he received some very bad advice. And is apparently continuing to receive that bad advice.
In the long run this only hurts an innocent child, but since when have the Palins ever REALLY seemed to care about how their decisions affect the children?

It's not unusual. I did one last week that had this language. I find it rather weird to have it, but who knows?

HOWEVER, any and all of this fighting between SP and Levi is to the GOOD, because it makes her look even more un-Presidential than she already does. It is one of the things that her critics point to.

He probably has to jump through hoops of fire to please their demands and he is just not willing to try any more. Remember when Bristol controlled the Johnston family by using Tripp as the carrot to get them to do what she wanted? They had to jump through hoops to see Tripp during the times she specified. Bristol would dictate who could see Tripp, she would demand that Levi’s female friends could not be near Tripp. Bristol is just like her mom insecure and paranoid. So she put all these restrictions on the Johnston family and yet she was allowed sleepovers in her condo and house with men other than Levi.
Don’t forget Bristol demanded Levi could not be pictured or make money from magazines with Tripp, but Bristol became a magazine picture taking whore with her prop Tripp. Now Bristol is enjoying the fruits of Tripp’s magazine picture labor every time she looks in the mirror and sees her new chin and face.

Levi needs to document the interactions. When they call, how much notice they give, what is said. This is the sort of thing he could jam them with in court. If he's entitled to visitation and Bristol is making it so it's really not possible, the court needs to know.

Debating who is the better parent, Bristol or Levi, is somewhat pointless. Both are uneducated trailer trash kids with horrible parents. Rather thank making a good argument, you're pointing out that Bristol has only been in AK for the last week. Could it be that Levi already had tickets/plans/commitments in Vegas and LA and wasn't able to switch his plans on Bristol's short notice that she would (finally) be in AK?

I read the response from Frank Bailey's attorney yesterday and immediately wondered why Levi doesn't employ whomever that is. It certainly appears that that person is on top of the whole Palin email debacle in a way that makes sense. AND is not preventing the book from being published.

I keep checking Amazon and for the most part Levi's book is outselling (presales) Bristol's book by leaps and bounds. Despite the amateurish cover art. I am baffled that Bristol was able to leave the state with the child. Being stuck in a podunk town is one of the hardships of being a single or divorced parent. It seems that the virgin princess has avoided that hardshiip along with all the others.

Bristol did not publicly announce the breakup. The tabs did. Probably some ex friend of one of the two. That shit doesn't remain secret. Bristol avoided the spotlight until levis stint. Heck, in that greta interviewan she was trying to make him look good. She could have said, "yeah levis a dropout thug who drinks everyday and doesn't care abt the baby". That would be truth and bad for everyones image.

ReplyDeleteJust as a child needs regular contact with his parents in order to maintain a strong relationship with them, a parent requires regular contact with the child. I'm sure that Levi is like most any other young man in his circumstances - torn between himself and his parenthood. But it is EXTREMELY difficult to repeatedly pull your life apart at ANY age to be with someone at a moment's notice. Even when that someone is your own child. If they make Tripp available for regularly scheduled visitation without restrictions, they have nothing to complain about. OTOH, if they are traipsing around the country with Tripp and expect Levi to parent on THEIR schedule, perhaps the wrong parent has custody.
ReplyDeleteIt's well documented in both Dunn's book and Bailey's leaked manuscript that $P manipulates the media to get out the stories that she wants out and has even made up a story to trash someone (Piper's lemonade stand). She also puts out red herrings to distract. Oh, like Willow getting a speeding ticket (wonder why TMZ always gets the scoop?)and all of a sudden trashing Levi to deflect from Bristol's bad plastic surgery, the books coming out and to try to further discredit Levi and his new book. Bristol has given Tripp nothing but instability. They've lived in at least 4 places since he was born - the Palin compound, condo in Anchorage (first w/Ben & then with fiance Levi)then back to the compound, then LA, then AZ and now back to LA for the reality show. Her bedroom has been a revolving door too - Ben, Levi, Gino and now she'll be shacking up with Kyle and his brother.
She's the one who hasn't followed the custody agreement. She's the one who's pimping Tripp out in magazines, abstinence speeches and now a reality show. She's the one who moved out of state. She's the one badmouthing Levi.
I hope Levi taped all their conversations about Tripp and saved all the nasty text messages, Facebook messages etc. If you didn't Levi start doing it now. Document all your conversations, interactions and visitation cancellations.
Is the Palin friend who leaked this story the same one who said that Bristol would never get plastic surgery just last week before Bristol announced she'd had surgery (even though she lied and said it was medically necessary). That picture is proof positive that Levi was always much too good looking for Bristol. Levi has to decide how passive he is going to be with the hateful Palins. He would absolutely win with a really aggressive attorney.

I find it very hard to believe that Levi is truly interested in being a dad, other than for publicity's sake. I have no doubt that the Palins do not make it easy for Levi, but I also have no doubt that Levi is having a blast with his current situation.

ReplyDeleteI thought that the court had ordered that neither parent disparage the other in front of Tripp. How about that book that Bristol plans to release this summer? Even though Tripp can't rad now, he will be able to read what his mother writes about his father and two broken engagements. Whatever their differences, they should not be aired in a book that Tripp can read in a few years.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure any of this out. Bristol should not have been able to move without the other parent's permission. Written notice via certified or registered mail. There should have been court hearing. Courts don't keep a father or other parent away like Bristol has. Tripp is old enough to go visit his father on his own for the weekend. If his scheduled day is a weekday Bristol should have him there, if not she's in contempt. Anyway I think she has bad mouthed him and his family much more than Levi has. She has brought at least 2 or 3 other dad figures in his short life-- not good, now into the hollywood life. Some good lawyer needs to step up for Levi enless he's not the father of Tripp and I have doubts.

Obviously these are the same sources that denied Bristlebutt's having had plastic surgery. Why do these idiots hide behind anonymous sources... I mean, it's not like they haven't lied directly to the media and everyone else on their own behalf quite consistently since they've had their circus act in the public spectrum. Snark--> I also think one of their more reliable sources used as a mouthpiece was quoted as saying that Bristlebutt was not the kind of girl to have plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons. I don't think even their "low-information bots" bit on that line. Only someone in complete denial of reality cannot see through their lame, self-serving attempts to distort the truth. The REAL LAMESTREAM MEDIA tows this line: "Oh, but they're both the ideal moms, and courageous and inspiring, etc..."

Maybe she'll detail how she needed a medical procedure for a bite problem and ended up with a new chin, lypo on her neck and chin, plumped up lips, higher cheekbones and surprise eyes. That should take up at least a chapter.
Will each of the guys she's been with in the last year get a chapter too? Ben, Levi & Gino? Abstinence isn't really realistic is it Bristol.
Or maybe she'll tell about how hard it is to be a single mom when you make $250,000 to spread the word of abstinence or $100,000 to pose on a magazine cover. Any true christian would only charge for travel to help out a charity. Not the Palins, they drain money from charities left and right. Imagine all the people they could have helped with that money.
Maybe her book will be a guide on how to get rich off your "mistakes". I'm sure Tripp will enjoy reading how many times his mother has called him mistake.

I hope in his book he makes a big point to other young men to not make the mistakes he has made. First and foremost...to use a condom. I hate to think of the diseases a skank like Bristol must have. But, also, too, to realize that if your fun ends up making a kid, you will be stuck having to deal with that bitch and her family for years to come.

Has anyone else heard that humpty-dumpty possibly had a late-term procedure following DWTS? I cannot verify b/c of HIPAA, but it would justify the excessive weight gain while working out several hours a day over that 3 1/2 month period of the show. In addition, maybe the timing on the cosmetic surgery was for a cover to distract from what was going on with her lower torso. Haiti? But she needed a burka to hide that bump instead of a scarf to hide the not-yet-healed lipo holes. She did not lose all the fat in her legs, waist or belly. I wonder if belly lipo would be dangerous if done prior to or immediately following a D&C procedure ?
ReplyDeleteI am positive that the Pay-lins made it so difficult and uncomfortable for Levi to visit Tripp that he often became very discouraged and gave up. Can you imagine how awful it must be for a young, insecure man to face the Pay-lin clan? I hope Levi gets tougher and demands his parental rights.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Levi is just stepping away and letting this one go and will make another life and family with someone else. Maybe he wasn't ready to be a father and isn't willing to fight for that right. Much as people give children up for adoption, same can be said for a parent that chooses not to be involved. It's his choice. There's a lot of Palin baggage that comes along with his son so it might not be worth it and he's cut his losses.

She totally got him to keep his mouth shut. Bristol even started seeing Levi again for a short while. Now Levi announces a "tell all" book and Palin goes right back to the same scare tactic she used the first time! That's just so Palin!! They criticize Levi for going Hollywood and trying to cash in, but he's got nothing compared to Bristol.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you! Levi is young - not experienced in life as yet (not his fault - it's just the way life is!) - and has to deal with that horrid Palin group. Cannot even begin to imagine what it is like from his side of things - that we don't even know about.
Bristol has proven time and time again that she has been taught well by her lyin' ass mother. I feel so sorry for the little guy. Can you imagine what it is going to be like for him when a teenager...all the horrid stuff the Palins have spewed that he'll read and have to decipher.
We have to give Levi credit because he has said very little negative stuff regarding Bristol. Her ass needs to be nailed to the wall as she has not practiced what she preaches!
I firmly sit on the side of Levi in this entire matter.
I've been trying to recollect if there's ever been a tabloid media buzz over the irreconciliable differences of a young couple, where the child (Tripp) is the focus of the story. Celebrities, like, Sandra Bullock and Jesse James who broke up don't even discuss their adopted child. I'm sure SB wants to protect him and his future feelings, thus refusing to discuss him and his reaction to things.

Has anyone heard of young single celebrities, whose (close sources) reveal how one parent is inattentive and uninterested in their baby? Anyone? Of course their marital problems are discussed, but the baby or child is off limits, and the celeb mom doesn't then go and put the kid on a reality show. (Yes, John & Kate) - but after their break-up, the family has retreated somewhat from the limelight.
The Palins have no class, and she accuses the White House of being classless because of the "Common" invite.

He's also going to tell all about how Sarah didn't make meals for the children and didn't do any cooking. Sarah didn't know how to cook anything but hot dogs because she didn't want to learn. Oh, and Levi also knows who knocked up Sarah before she had to get married to Todd. Not to mention that he knows and about and will tell of how often Shailey serviced Todd when Todd was suffering through one of Sarah's dry spells.

ReplyDeleteJust a cursory google search indicates that Bristol was announced to appear on DWTS on Aug 26, 2010, with the season to premier on Sept 20. I'd assume BP had to begin preparing/working out as soon as it was announced. If that's the case, as it appears, the window of opportunity for BP to have the procedure was just too narrow because of the possibility of bleeding, etc following the D&C. It's unlikely that she could get a medical release to begin working out without a significant delay. That probably would've cost her the slot for that season on DWTS. I don't think she was forecasting that she would survive nearly that deep in the competition. It's possible the she was only 3 months prego at the beginning, and just beginning to show preg features in addition to her natural fat content. BP was not nearly as heavy at the beginning of the competition as she was at the end. Her weight gain throughout the competition was obvious though, and seemed to be mostly in her lower torso. I think she actually burned a little of the fat and toned her legs somewhat, but the belly and abdomen became more prominent each week as her handlers "strapped her in" to her costumes. Each of those outfits were designed with special features to have a slimming effect---No secret there--- but it was impossible to hide all of the lumps that were moved and pushed around.
Levi needs to put a brand-new, never-used, straight-out-of-the-package dry toothbrush (without toothpaste on it) in Tripp's mouth the next time he see's him.
