Failed Alaskan Teabagging candidate Joe Miller, snags a speaking gig on the Birther Boat to Batshit-ville.

Courtesy of TPM:

Miller signed on as a speaker to help participants "sharpen and edify one another" ("Sharpen and edify one another?" Does anybody else feel dirty after reading that?) from August 26th to September 2nd, and maybe even to act as resident Alaska expert. "Whom would you most like as personal [sic] Alaska tour guide?" World Net Daily asks. (Answer: "Just about ANYBODY else you could think of!") In between classes, "you will relax and marvel at the magnificence of God's creation, while we sail aboard the five-star Celebrity Millennium. All of this, and at an incredibly low starting price."

The cheapest cabins will set you back about $750, plus $383 in taxes and fees (not including airfare).

Aside from Miller, most of the speakers are about what you'd expect from World Net Daily, which continues to be the lead purveyor of birther conspiracy theories even in the weeks after Obama released his long-form birth certificate. Joseph Farah, who founded WND and his wife Elizabeth Farah are listed, as well as birther Alan Keyes, birther author Jerome Corsi, and birthermercial producer Gary Kreep. Former Saturday Night Live cast member Victoria Jackson, who once led a group of Tea Partiers in a song called "There's A Communist Living In The White House," will also be speaking.

Holy crap!  I have heard the term "ship of fools" a number of times, I just have never actually seen on before!

Here check out how they describe Miller's trouncing in his bio blurb:

Joe Miller shocked the political world on August 24, 2010 when he, according to media accounts, came out of nowhere to defeat incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Alaskan Republican Primary. He then entered into a contentious three-way general election where multi-billion dollar native corporations, along with the political establishment, conspired to defeat this Tea Party backed candidate

Notice how he blames his defeat on giant "corporations" and the "political establishment" instead of on the "freaked out Alaskan voters" who ran to the polls to make sure he would NEVER get anywhere near Washington D.C..
Am I evil for thinking that this would be a great time for an iceberg?

    Dear Joe,

You lost! Accept responsibility for your own actions and move on.

    Sincerely,
    Reality

Is he going to take his wife or one of his girlfriends on cruise?

    Ship of Fools...

The rightwing (otherwise known as the criminal class) doesn't really give a shit about any of us out here on our own. I must say, however, I'd like to be a fly on the wall during their meetings.

Why hasn't Miller been disbarred yet?

He is so disgusting, is his wife still living in Alaska or does she travel with him? I always felt he was having an affair during his campaign, there were some very odd photo-ops.

An iceberg would be nice to wash he and the quitter out to sea forever.

As soon as I saw the word 'edify' I knew something religious was coming. That is one of their buzz words.

It all depends on what the iceberg is. How about timing it for just after Sarah announces. Could it be that she heads to Concord and Lexington today so she can make the announcement heard round the world? Maybe she'll rent a horse and ride in yelling "one if by sea, two is by land".

Still no sign of RAM. I wonder if the whole tweeting thing was a set-up to get rid of her. And I wonder if the movie/bus tour leak was done in retaliation. Will being on the outs with RAM create a problem? Sarah could try to pretend to be RAM. Maybe Sarah will continue to create her own icebergs.

Looks like the Crazy Train Tea Party Express has become The Crazy Boat instead.

That sounds like one unappealing circle jerk.Sarah and Joe prove that losing can be lucrative.

Bill Maher said that there is a sure market for conservative Crazy (just like Christian-Crazy and the two are almost always interchangeable) which explains Ann Coultier's success (and appeal.) So, was Christine O'Donnell unavailable?

OMG, Again I feel like I am living in the Twilight Zone. It amazes me how many people that are making millions haven't accomplished ANYTHING. Unless you count having lipo, boob jobs, & tummy tucks an accomplishment. Uneducated - all the better. Drunk or stoned - even better!

Paris, Snooki, the Kardashians and all the others like them are an embarrassment to people who work hard to get where they are. Not only that but they are PROUD of how stupid they are!

I have spent over a hundred thousand dollars educating my two boys, they have worked hard getting good grades etc., and will be lucky to find medium income jobs. It almost seems like what we are doing is DUMB.

I am sure all of us here would have died of embarrassment if our children grew up to act like the people mentioned above. Then you have Bristol Palin making a fortune because she got pregnant as an unmarried pregnant teenager.

I have to say there are days it makes me ill!

An expert on Alaska? This carpet-bagger has about as much expertise on our State as Sarah Palin, both equally Ugly and Exploitative Alaskans.

No, not the Millenium, I love that ship! How dare these nutjobs soil her elegant ambiance. I have such fond memories of the Millenium, and now they're going to stain that, too.

What people really want to know is: "Will D.Z. Bill be on the cruise, also, too?" BTW: is the author of this bio also the author of this delusional fundraising letter?

    Greetings,

We don't want to loose the momentumn of this great campaign!! We are going to get Joe Miller elected, it's just that for reasons we don't understand God wants us to have a waiting spell. :) We need to be wise as serpents
(Since when are serpents "wise?") and gentle as doves, and keep the campaign uplifted in constant prayer.

In order for Joe to keep campaigning he needs funds. So far the Lord has always provided the money in this grass roots campaign
(And by "God" they mean the "Tea Party Express" who provided $600,000 in funding for thie "grass roots" campaign. Isn't "God" great!) and this time God is going to use you to provide!

Non italics are extra information provided in this post at IM.

Sarah Palin's butt boy Joe Miller confuses donations from the Tea Party Express with manna from heaven.

While I am not a fan of any republican, I will admit that LIsa's campaign was truly the first "grassroots" campaign since Senator Paul Wellstone(D) was elected in Minnesota.
Poor Joe and his bagger friends they can try, but they will NEVER rewrite history.

Agreed, just another dog whistle to the racists and unfortunately Alaska has about the highest assaults, rapes, and discrimination against it's Native People's. This is an excuse so his buddy's can go out and throw their empty beer bottles at Natives walking peacefully along the roads.

True to form, lying Joe is still blaming others for his own failures.

Joe and Sarah are sociopaths. Watch your backs when they're around.
