ReplyDeleteAlthough Rachel Maddow is great on many issues, I'll bet she will go with the MSM and continue to report that Osama Bin Laden was behind the "attacks", and that the buildings were brought down by aircraft (except WTC7, for which there will be no scientifically valid explanation provided), and the Pentagon was hit by a 757, all of which happened despite the: greatest air defense system in existence; the complete inability of these alleged "hijackers" to fly large jetliners; the impossibility of kerosene fires and office furniture to burn hot enough to melt or even weaken structural steel; the obvious whitewash of the events by the Commission; the extensive evidence of explosives having been used, including numerous eyewitness accounts by firefighters and other first responders; the presence of molten metal for six weeks after that day underneath all three WTC buildings, and on and on.
ReplyDeleteThe failure of the press and others to investigate these events, and the total acceptance of the Bush administration's faulty and false accounts by the MSM press, and the progressive press as well, is shocking and a huge disservice to those who died. We have been led into endless war, limitation of our civil liberties, and huge expenditures of taxpayer money in pursuit of the ambiguous "war on terror." It is the defining moment of our times, and it was a huge lie.

Bill, I hope you won't be bored by facts. And hopefully you are not bored by endless war, deaths of millions of civilians, and massive profits to the war machine. And perhaps, in the midst of your desire to not be bored, you will take the time to investigate the science of how buildings fall at free fall speed without the use of explosives? Or molten metal remains for weeks, without a fuel source? Or massive steel-framed buildings collapse in their own footprints? And how a grandmother piloting a Cessna has two interceptors within minutes of entering prohibited airspace, but four jetliners flying for hours have none? Bill, you are one of many who have been successfully deluded by the absurd conspiracy theory offered by the Bush cabal. And when was anyone from the Bush government ever honest about anything? And you want to believe that the conspiracy theory without any scientific or factual support proffered by them has some truth? I feel sorry for you, Bill. If this stuff bores you, I don't know what you do for excitement.

ReplyDeleteI love all the conspiracy theorists, don't know about anyone else, but I saw footage of the planes hitting the wtc, saw them collapse in real time, and personally saw the damage in Pennsylvania.
I wonder why the smouldering ever stopped and didn't go through the crust, down through the mohorovivic discontinuity and down to the molten core at center of the earth all the way out to china?

ReplyDelete@ Nikogriego, WTC7 and the Pentagon punch-hole pics are what did it for me. The Patriot Act and the victims of the weapons-grade anthrax from Ft. Detrick. On and On, too many lies, so much mainstream propaganda. People here are outraged that a potential VP could fake a pregnancy and get away with it, when so much worse has been done. And Rachel, DECADE of war? DECADE? What the hell happened to our mission to eradicate The Evil Communists? Oh, replaced by Muslim Terrorists. See, who The Enemy is depends on who the Target is. And Bill, check out "JFK and the Unspeakable-Why He Died and Why it Matters" by James W. Douglass, a book that clarifies how much power the Military-Industrial Complex has. Gearing up for this show might I suggest going onto You-Tube and watching all the various OBL's that have been presented as The Enemy.

ReplyDeleteI noted that Bill did not rejoin the discussion after his trite post about his idea that the US air defense was "not set up to defend against US carriers." That is one of the poorer defenses of the Bush conspiracy theory I have heard. He doesn't address the other points raised. And Triskele adopts the "tin foil hat" meme that so many closed-minded people think is funny and appropriate. Triskele should attempt to review the facts and evidence, such as architects and engineers for 9/11 truth, before labeling anyone "tin foil hat" wearers.
The Official Conspiracy Theory, the one that has a sick man in a cave in the mountains of Afghanistan outwitting the greatest military the planet has ever known, with "co-conspirators" who cannot fly even small single engine aircraft doing impossible feats of flying, so that their aircraft can remarkably target and hit two massive steel framed skyscrapers and the Pentagon without being stopped, which thereafter causes these huge buildings to collapse upon themselves at virtual free-fall speed, after fires on a few floors only lasting around an hour, is the one that should be attributed to "tin foil hat" wearers. And how WTC 7 fell is a real tin foil hat mystery. What will Rachel Maddow discuss on her show? Not any of this, I am sure.

I suspect frustration from hitting the wall too many times is the key reason many people don't comment upon Bush's treason. David Kelly said the facts were being twisted to "fix" the propaganda, and he ended up dead, with the cover-up masking the culpability of the leadership. On this side, Bruce Ivins ended up dead despite having nothing to do with the anthrax release or the mockery of a scarefest that led to invading & occupying Iraq.
We ordinary citizens protested and demonstrated and wrote letters and signed petitions, but with our Congressional leaders also complicit in War Crimes, nothing was ever done to properly investigate and clean out the festering wound. Nothing.
The best we can hope for is that some foreign government will manage to capture/arrest a couple of Administration officials and drag them before The Hague and begin the modern equivalent of the Nuremberg Trials. It will be a sad day when we acknowledge that there is no Justice in America, but that day must and will happen.
Meanwhile, we do, yet, MAYBE have a chance to influence the next elections by bringing political matters to light. Joe Miller isn't the Senator from Alaska, partly because of all the dirt and all the questionable activities that we kept alive in our writings. Once someone is in office, it is much harder to drag them out (look at Joe Lieberman for an example of how Congress protects its own, no matter how awful or corrupt).
Sarah Palin has been running for months now (but she doesn't want to lose the million smackaroonies from Fox). We must keep her away from real power. However, I'm pretty sure that Rick Perry will get the nomination, and that might be even worse. They are both dominionists who believe to the bottom of their high heeled shoes that God chose them to lead the saved during the End Times (which destruction they will deliberately bring on).
Middle American voters have been trained by the complicit media to react to sound-bites rather than factual articles discussing governance and economics and global considerations. They are single-issue voters, because that is ALL the programming they can be trusted with. They are social-issue voters, because that is something they can understand in their own lives. What does abortion, homosexuality, or gun ownership have to do with climate change and the need for clean air and water? With national security and the war machine? With regulating industries for safety or the public good? With international relations? NOTHING! However, international relations involving trade and tariffs, diplomacy and security is a complex balance. A crotch shot, misuse of campaign funds, or bastard child hits emotional buttons. No thinking required.
Because of the likelihood of voting machines being flipped AGAIN, we must work so that desperately insane candidates don't have a chance of being nominated.
