Republicans turn on Sarah Palin en masse after her disasterous political prick tease in Iowa.

After squeezing every last drop of her fifteen minutes of fame, like a milk-aholic at a cow's rapidly depleting udder, Sarah Palin seems to have FINALLY stepped over the invisible line from possible Presidential candidate to Republican laughingstock.

Courtesy of Meghan McCain:

Much of Sarah Palin’s allure seems to fade by each passing talking point of Michele Bachmann’s that goes viral. And with each passing day, Sarah Palin looks more and more like a confused woman who can’t decide which way to go. The last thing our country needs right now is a president who can’t make up her mind or make tough decisions. As Americans, we live in perilous times and what we need is real leadership. Republicans really have a chance to win the White House in 2012. We don’t need to be distracted by Sarah Palin’s attention-seeking antics anymore, unless of course she actually decides to stop flirting and finally make a move to announce her candidacy. Until then, the rest of the country is trying to decide between the candidates who are actually running.

Of course there was NEVER much love lost between the Palins and the daughter of the man responsible for plucking Caribou Barbie out of the wilds of Wasilla, but she is far from alone in her disgust with this endless charade.

As this biting opinion piece from Brad Schaeffer can attest:

So I must conclude that Sarah Palin has become a side-show who still clings to center stage. While rolling around in her tour bus crashing GOP events (while not a declared candidate for dog-catcher) she seems to be craving relevance that her fans in the media on both sides (the right loves her and the left loves to hate her) are more than happy to provide. Sarah sells. That cannot be denied.

Her entertainment value aside, I cannot help but wonder if she is starting to do some damage to the GOP brand now that the hats are flying through the ring. Why was she in Iowa, for example, other than to steal the legitimate candidates’ thunder and continue to alienate the 58 percent of Americans who, according to Quinnipiac, would never vote for her under any circumstances — and thus reject the Republican ticket were she the nominee? Her Ames party crash has been labeled by some in the media as a “surprise trip to the Iowa state fair” (According to the Christian Science Monitor). A surprise to who exactly? The big unexpected would be if she turned down this chance to scoop up yet more of the limelight.

Her attack on  conservative writer Alex Pappas over misunderstanding concerning a story that he wrote might have been the actual straw that broke the conservative camels' back.

In response many conservatives circled the wagons around Pappas and took aim at the woman they once adored.

Courtesy of FishBowl DC:

The American Spectator wasn’t alone in defending Pappas. A Daily Caller source who spoke anonymously told FishbowlDC, “If Sarah Palin wants to monitor the Caller that closely, but not so closely that she doesn’t take everything out of context, then maybe she could apply for a job at Media Matters. They’d get along famously.”

Conservatives on Twitter, meanwhile, encircled the scribe and lashed out at Palin with a vengeance. Sonny Bunch, a former editor at The Weekly Standard , wrote, “Her refusal to personally apologize is just shitty.” But that was kind compared to what else he said. “That’s just a petty, dick move and, frankly, unpresidential,” he wrote. “What gets me about the @AlexPappasDC story is Palin’s refusal to apologize after calling him in front of a rival reporter to embarrass him.”

But perhaps the most telling example of the conservatives falling out of love with Klondike Kardashian, is this guy finally throwing up his hands in disgust.

By continuing to keep alive a tiny glimmering hope of her 2012 candidacy, long after the point when the whole “testing the waters” time-frame has passed its sell-by date, Palin is setting up her True Believers for a bitter disillusionment whenever the time comes for her to officially admit that she’s not running.

I would usually NEVER link to this disgusting excuse for a human being, and I certainly do not encourage any of you to visit the link this time. But because of the unique nature of his relationship with the Palins, and the terrible things he has done on their behalf,  I thought including him did much to prove the point of this post.

I am certainly no Nostradamus, but this has gone pretty much the way that I predicted it would over a year ago.

All you had to know to see this outcome on the horizon was to know WHO Sarah Palin was fundamentally.  And fundamentally she is a very immature, self aggrandizing, phony, who is completely addicted to the limelight and repulsed by hard work.

We Alaskans learned that hard truth about our half term Governor when she up and quit two years ago. We were just waiting for the rest of the country to get up to speed.

There was NEVER any doubt she would not REALLY campaign for the nomination.  The only question was how far could draw out this tease.

And I believe that question has now been answered.

By the way this does not mean that I don't believe that Palin will pop up again.

I have every confidence she will.

It just means that every new appearance is attracting less and less attention, and soon nobody will now, or care, where she turns up next.

I think it is very telling that Palin's next public appearance is alongside Glenn Beck, another disgraced ex-conservative superstar desperate to make a comeback.

There's also the whole, you know, STUPID thing. The GOP has no incentive to cover up her vapidity, ignorance, and sloth anymore, so the stupid is finally being allowed to shine through and nobody is covering it up anymore.

This is a woman who could not for the life of her say "Joe Biden" because she kept misspeaking and calling him "O'Biden." That's why she said, "Can I call you Joe?" at the start of the debates. Her people gave her that one. They were the brains who said, "Well, since you're stupid, let's at least try to make you charmingly folksy/stupid."

Now there's nobody around her willing to work overtime at covering up her DUMB.

    GOOD!

  4. It's about time that the conservative media elite admit what they know to be true of Palin. I wish they could connect the dots back to what McCain unleashed, but they seem incapable of admitting that mistakes could be made by their party. Unfortunately the Alex Pappas brouhaha is way to inside-the-beltway-media-centric to have much traction outside of the chattering class. She and Newt both bite the hand that feeds them when they attack Fox News, but they are so self-absorbed they aren't aware of what they're doing.

OT. The Atlantic has a story this morning about a Bachmann staffer arrested for terrorism in Uganda in 2006. This guy was released after pressure from the Bush administration, but his story has spawned a movie called "The Ultimate Price: The Peter E. Waldron Story" from Big Promise Production.

I was surprised at how disheveled (sp?) she looked at the Iowa Fair. She looked as if she had not showered or washed her hair that day. Really gross. Her hair was either oily or she was perspiring - don't know - but she looked really cheap. And, no, the painted toe nails did not help as she should have buffed her feet - you could see dead skin. Yuk.
How do her followers feel about that?

I think she's too much of a coward to run, and is politically finished. However, I would love for her to run, and make the Republican Party even more of a circus. We'll see just how psychotic she really is. Any Republican with a brain left (there are a few) has to be worried about their roster of candidates, and the possibility of Palin running, either as a Republican or a third-party candidate.

Uh, Gryphen, a lot of us saw her as a clown soon after McCain introduced us to her in 2008. I remember my brother-in-law, the only Republican in the family, shaking his head after McCain selected her. I knew at that moment, far in advance of election day, that it was all over.

There's something so sad about a woman who's damn near 50 still thinking she's a 'hawt' 22-year-old. I'm 33 with a much better body and face, but there is no way in hell I would comport myself the way this political charlatan does.

Stupid, you have grandchildren. Put the chicken chest away. I'd say go buy yourself some grace, class and style, but unfortunately those aren't things that one can just go out and purchase.

Thank you, Gryphen. I completely agree. The Right has turned on Grandma Quittypants. She is no longer their darling. In fact, she is their kryptonite. They created her as a myth. They ran her. They must now "destroy" her (politically, of course, not literally) as she has outgrown her usefulness.

I've been thinking about this, and she really has no political friends at this point. Plus, she was never truly ready for "the Bigs." She was always Amateur Hour and boy, does it show now.

In retrospect, it really does seem to have gone down like this: in a hush-hush back room deal in 2008, the GOP/conservative money overlords promised her millions (via books and media time) if she would not run again but become an anti-Obama chorus girl instead. She & Todd took that deal. She's merely been stringing the 'bots along all the time.

Gryphen, I take VERY STRONG exception to your characterization of the Screechy Wretch(tm) as a "Republican laughingstock". How dare you, Sir!! How dare you!!

Considering the amount of time and effort she has mindlessly wasted to reach this point in her pathetic career, you should be man enough to acknowledge that, at the VERY least, she is a NATIONAL laughingstock; derided by people of every age, economic strata, color, creed, religion, gender and country of national origin across this great land!!

And furthermore, I'm willing to bet a shiny new nickel that she is poised to achieve INTERNATIONAL laughingstock status, if she hasn't achieved it already!

So you think about that, Mr. Fancy Pants Alaskan Liberal!! In less than 3 years she has reached heights (well.. actually depths...) that YOU could only dream of!

I dislike having to scold you like this, but maybe next time you'll be more circumspect when you're tempted to minimize the legend that is the Screechy Wretch(tm).

  28. Anonymous12:33 PM

I used to think that if we learned the truth about Trig's parents and his birth, that would finish off Sarah's chances at national office. But, thanks to Sarah herself, she is doing the job for us.

Sarah thinks that she can run by celebrity. Yes, the media still falls for her act, and gives her too much non-critical attention. But, even CNN noticed the coincidence of Sarah showing up to steal Romney's thunder in NH, and showing up in Iowa when Michele was announcing. Surprise, here is Sarah at the Iowa State Fair, stealing the spotlight from the real announced candidates. But Rick Perry beat them all with his own scene-stealing announcement.

Sarah has shown that she is limited and lacks the qualifications to run a good campaign, let alone be a qualified candidate for national office. She is too thin-skinned, too petty, undisciplined and immature. It was obvious why she quit her job as governor and why she continues to run that lame bus tour, begging for donations to pay for more tours which beg for more donations. It's the money.

Since Sarah does read everything written about her (and usually responds to it), I have a suggestion. This one is guaranteed to get major media attention and big bucks. It's time for Sarah's next book, in which she tells the truth about adopting a Down Syndrome child. Yes, we want to know who the parents are, and we will thrill to reading that Sarah could give him a better home and better health care. She can recast herself as an advocate for the disabled, the way she promised three years ago. She'll be back on TV, signing books and raising money for DS organizations, maybe even something for herself if she can work up a new speech. It's time for a new chapter in Sarah's life, the heartbreaking tell-all that will steal attention from everyone of those politicians.

Sarah has neither dignity nor shame. She is not only Billy Kristol's dream tabula rasa, she is, as a human being, an empty vessel.

She is a rogue Homo sapiens animal, as we are all H sapiens animals. But most of us stay within the herd.

Once a herd animal has either left it's herd or been driven out and become rogue it virtually can never return to its own herd or any other.

Sarah chose to distance herself from her own party in Alaska, and then nationally. So unless the Kochs decide to created a Tee Peers herd for her, and pay for its and her support, she will remain the rogue.

Look at what being rogue has done to McCain. Few lasting accomplishments (his wife and his daddy opened his doors for him) and he is an angry, at least verbally abusive, and frustrated old man who does not understand why he now stands virtually alone and largely disrespected and often laughed at.

Have said this before; it may be that SP will even reveal the true Trig's birth story - if it will give her a 24-hour news cycle of attention. And it would. It would be the hoax of the century.

There's this distinct feeling that she WANTS people to know she hoaxed a pregnancy. She would get some weird satisfaction admitting she faked things and got away with it.

And I say that with full knowledge that the governor’s most devoted admirers will excoriate me for saying it, as if speaking the blunt truth makes me “anti-Palin.”

Oh wow, these conservatives are a little slow on the uptake.

No one, and I mean NO ONE dares utter any kind of criticism, observation or curiosity of Sarah Palin and her brood, because they don't roll with any perceived slight.

He's still sucking Palin's toes and any part he can get. To quote him and say he's turned on her -- bullshit. He's hopped on the bandwagon for appearance sake. He'll be back sucking at her shortly. He's still a Palin Bagger hanger-on.

    That picture says it all.

RayDeeO IdjEEt Rush was railing on Sarah today. Called her out for her Iowa trip. Discussed buses and campaign tours.

Attacked Sarah for her State Fair performance in Iowa. Told about her refusing to talk to a well established conservative reporter- she explained it as saying she had to go talk to the cows first.

Don't know if the flaccid fatty is actually reporting what happened or just making it up. Either way not so good for Sarah.

He also talked about establishment republicans don't like any candidate, and are waiting for C. Christie or someone else to run.

  70. I have been wondering for weeks about the Republican National Convention in 2012: would they invite Sarah Palin to speak? I mean, under normal circumstances, if she had gone under the radar, back to AK, finished her term as Governor, perhaps was consulted a few times by one of the "news" programs (not just FOX) and certainly not have become a FOX employee, as a former candidate for VP she would be a logical choice to be in the lineup of speakers at the convention, right? But geez, how could they now? She'd try to whip the crowd into the same frenzy, plus with her "look at me" posturing, she'd probably show up with all the Palin clan in tow, would she ask them to dress her and them again? It would be comical to say the least. And she would bring absolutely nothing to the table. I think now she'd be an embarrassment. But I will bet that if she does not run, she (in her mind) assumes she will be a part of the convention in 2012. How do they exclude her? I hope by the time it rolls around, all the gates have broken open about this very sick person and the 2012 RNC has a pall cast over it for what they allowed in 2008 by putting her on that pedestal.

When Sarah was running with McCain, my L48 conservative friends, newly captivated with Sarah, asked what I thought of her. They expected glowing endorsements. They couldn't believe their ears when I told them that Sarah Palin was fake, unethical, and a major train wreck as a governor. I could sense their shocked reactions over the phone. I said I vote Republican but I never voted for her (still proud of that) nor would I ever. I even attended a rally in Anchorage and held a sign demanding that she be held accountable for her actions. They hung up completely bewildered.

However enamoured with Sarah my friends might have been once upon a time, those love affairs are over. They should have never doubted my thumbs down on the Quitter.

Love that particular picture; it really shows her dirty hair and how tacky she was dressed. Some of the pictures from her fans were more flattering.

That t-shirt was so incredibly inappropriate, plus the whole bra thing. Wearing a water bra and sticking your chest out, but not wearing it the next time is what I'd expect of a junior high school girl. Sarah is so ridiculously juvenile, I just can't get over how far she got in politics. May John McCain never have a moment's peace over this.

If you buy into all these posts supposedly 'turning on Palin' -- then don't act surprised when it turns around again. We've been down this road before or have you forgotten.

Rove called her out after the 2008 election. So did Gingrich and others. Been there - done that - heard it all before.

I remember when Peggy Noonan believing her mike was off on MSNBC at the Rethug Convention basically calling her unqualified and 'it's over'. That too was short lived in that Noonan soon appeared to be a 'gay toe sucker' of Palin. Noonan talking about Palin 'flipped on a dime'.

The picture reminded me of a few past instances. She's not in the state meeting, so it's not time to put on the push-up bra. A state fair doesn't require the horse race chest. No monkey pumps, but domino toe nails? What a child.

Hold out their hands till someone offers them something. Sarah doesn't have the slightest idea what Willow and Bristol are up to in LA. She has someone taking care of Trig for her. About the Palin tweet suggesting the President tour the Lincoln Museum:

Barack Obama announced his Presidential run in Springfield Illinois on February 10, 2007. He may have been in that museum at some point. Is this a new exhibit? He may have already seen it.

From the Washington Post report on the speech:

"...Against the morning cold, Obama wore an overcoat and a scarf, but no hat or gloves. In his speech, he presented an ambitious agenda that includes bringing an end to the Iraq war, eliminating poverty, ensuring universal health care and creating energy independence. But he seemed to be trying to transcend traditional political debate by arguing that what the country lacks is not good ideas.

"What's stopped us from meeting these challenges is not the absence of sound policies and sensible plans," he said. "What's stopped us is the failure of leadership, the smallness of our politics -- the ease with which we're distracted by the petty and trivial, our chronic avoidance of tough decisions, our preference for scoring cheap political points instead of rolling up our sleeves and building a working consensus to tackle big problems."

Recalling past periods of economic or political crisis, he said, "Each and every time, a new generation has risen up and done what's needed to be done. Today we are called once more -- and it is time for our generation to answer that call." "

He should have booted her off the ticket when everyone in his campaign realised she was crazy. McCain will forever be linked to the rise of Sarah Palin as far as I am concerned.

These same conservatives clutching their pearls now were the ones cheering Palin on at the GOP convention, cheering her on as she snarled, snarked and smirked her way thru that abominable speech. They deserve to be tied to the Palin albatross forever. For 3 years they pandered to her, courted her, defended her every idiotic speech, FB post and tweet. Every last one of these jerks deserve to be linked to Palin's stink forever.

Paul Blumenthal has post up about Rick Perry's new book - what's in it and what's not. Paul's post is a MUST read. Rick Perry - He who speaks with forked tongue and stands in much shit!!!

"Rick Perry's K Street Project Sought Earmarks, Federal Funds"

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/17/rick-perrys-k-street-proj_n_929584.html

From one side of mouth Perry spewed about government spending and earmarks representing wasteful spending -- Out of other side of mouth, at the same time he entered into contracts with lobbyists to help bring billions of fed $$$ to TX. "Some of those lobbyists would wind up pleading guilty in a separate major bribery scandal."

$754.4 million in earmarks for transportation

Taxpayers for Common Sense pins much of Texas' lobbying success on former Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas). "Certainly DeLay was of the earmark persuasion," Ellis explained. "He was a major proponent of using earmarks to reward and protect incumbents."

He ranted on the 2004 Medicare program & Medicare Part D while with forked tongue those lobbyists he hired were lobbying for $$ on the drug bill. TX funding increased by $350 million crafted behind closed doors.

The lobbyists Perry hired - connected to Tom DeLay and Jack Abromoff. Add 'The K Street Project' run by Delay - and wow - Perry's in it up to his neck!!

No wonder he wears cowboy boots. He's standing up to his neck in Corruption and sinking quickly!! Perry survived while Abramoff, DeLay and others didn't - Why??

Blumenthal has quite the blog post up -- It's a must read!!

  120. hello gryphen,

The story, "Trial by Fire", was recommended by one of your readers who left a comment under the story, "Top Ten Things Rick Perry does NOT want you to know about him". (I believe that list should be sent to every household in America. If I had the $$$$ I would foot the bill).

Anyway, Sunshine1970 (and thank you to her), had a link to "Trial by Fire", written by David Grenn, and published in New Yorker magazine. I clicked on the link and I have just finished reading it.

It is VERY well written and so informative and revealing. It will make the Rick Perry's of this world even more clear to rational people. Simply put, people with a conscience would never had acted the way he did in this situation, as govenor. What does that say about him??? I don't know how the ulta conservative live with themselves, except to say they are "sociopathic individuals who deem others as an impediment to their lifestyle", (that is a quote from the article). Anyway, this is a MUST READ for your bloggers.

Maybe people have republican friends who they can convince to read the story and it may change their vote. I have a gay friend in Albuquerque, who happens to be from Texas and is, of all things, a republican!!! Go figure. In the last election he voted for Obama after months of talking to me, telling me he was undecided. (Like so many others, I was a volunteer for Obama and I was relentless with my republican friends as soon as $Paylin jumped in). Lately, I have been calling him about your blog encouraging him to read it. (I wanted him to see that the republican party of today is not the republican party of 30-40 years ago). Last night I called him and MADE him watch last Sunday's David Gregory interview with Michelle Bachmann on Meet the Press. He was bemoaning having to do it, but I actually had him turn on his computer and watch while I was on the phone,(!!!), just so he could see what a potential frontrunner for the republican party presidental nomination thinks of him. Anyway, it worked, and he WAS FLOORED. Like so many voters, he pays no attention until a few days before the election and then just votes the party line. BUT THIS!!!! I had to point out to him that actually what Michelle Bachmann is saying is: Nobody who acknowledges that he or she is gay and is comfortable with pursuing that lifestyle for themselves should be allowed to have a job. READ BETWEEN HER LINES. Okay, follow me here. She is stating if an openly gay person does not share her beliefs he or she cannot have a job in her administration. Well, her beliefs are, don't act on your desires and "pray away the gay". (That is provable. It is on videotape as the "therapy" instituted in the Bachmann clinic). So it can be assumed here that one must adhere to not acting on ones desires and submitting to prayer in order to have a job in President Bachmann's administration, play it straight and pray often. Not only in her administration, but probably in the entirety of the federal government. That is no stretch.

There's just one tiny problem here. THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW!!!!! So what she is saying is: she is already geared to having the law overturned should she become elected. SHE BELIEVES SHE CAN DO IT. Talk about self grandisement. (Look Ms. Bachmann, the Bushes couldn't do it. Believe me, as far as political connections..... You are no George W. BUSH).

She BELIEVES she can overturn the law, then she believes it would be okay for all employers to discriminate against homosexuals and not allow them jobs in our corporate conservative society.

Does she even know what she is saying????? To admit on national television that she would break the law as it exists today, well, that just reeks of sociopathy, now doesn't it??? Her followers may be the most uneducated bunch in the country, but she should know better. The fact that she DOESN'T speaks for itself. poor thing.........

The fact that her ribs were sticking out was highlighted by her low cut shirt.
The greasy bangs and the frizzy ponytail were also bizarre and unappealing.
Palin's pathetic side show bus stunt
this past weekend was the last straw for the few Republicans still in her corner.
The torrent of anti Palin columns from the right has been amazing.
Kathleen Parker at the Washington Post wrote another scathing column this week
    " Untrending Palin ":

" While serious candidates were prepping for the hard work of a presidential debate,
Palin was announcing her intention to pop over to Iowa in her "One Nation Tour."
In an email to her fans, she wrote:
"The heartland is perfect territory for more of the One Nation Tour as we put forth efforts
    to revitalize the fundamental restoration
    of America by highlighting
    our nation's heart,
    history, and founding principles."
(Homeland Security reportedly has sought help from idle bloggers fluent in Palinspeak
to translate the meaning of this sentence.)

    Good luck with that.
Palin's governing theory reads like a copy editor's game where you stitch together random phrases to create something like sense.
Her sashay into Iowa, meanwhile — showing up basically to show up —
is testament to her inability to resist the spotlight.
Or perhaps it is the flame.

Time will tell, but what recent history
already confirms is that Palin isn't a serious person.
If she had been serious about
running for president, she would have completed her term as governor."

I disagree with the poster who
said Limbaugh was turning on her.
I heard about 30 seconds of his show
    today ( my limit )
and he said Palin is the only one who can beat Obama
and that's why so many Republicans
    are turning on her.
    Huh ?
Apparently , he gets his critical thinking skills from Palin

It's the law of diminishing returns in Economy. The first corndog actually tastes really good and satisfies your corndog hankering mojo, the next one a little less, the third, less still. etc.

Sarah's shiney polished RNC paid for "Corndog" moment filled a certain need, but she went Rogue and put herself out there for every day in three years, except for a few weeks during the Todd and the hooker story broke.

Now she's just yesterday's news, and everyone knows it (except for the TMF'ed urine crowd (TMF means Terminally Mind F@#KED) and that sick "other" mc cain dude.

I agree with you, Gryph. She'll still be in the public eye at any cost, and with the truckload of "told you so" about to fall like a ton of bricks, she'll have to "refudiate" and try to save face till the bitter end, but with that face, I doub't she'll endure more than two, three months.

The floodgates from the right have blasted open.
    A leading female conservative
    and head of the
right wing think tank Edmund Burke Institute
    has just sliced, diced, filleted
    and sauteed Palin.

The last line will send her bots into orbit.

" Mrs. Palin famously quipped in 2008, “a pig with lipstick is still a pig.”
Since then, she has constantly pursued celebrity
    over credible politics
in a time of national crisis.
Hence, the biggest pig in the room with lipstick
on it turned out to be the half-term governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. "

Did she just call Palin a pig ?
    Wow. Get out the popcorn.
The entire piece is here and it contains many of the thoughts expressed here for months.

  125. I find it more than curious that SP neglected to recall her Journalism 101 part of writing copy for a print media....the EDITOR usually "writes" the headline....you know right above all those letters that detail the who, what, where, when and how in the article.

She is not a politician she is a reality celebrity. The media follow her around like paparazzi. But she invites the media, whereas most celebrities shun the cameras.

She looked so much younger when she had a few pounds on her. Yikes, she looks anorexic & 65 years old!

    4:41 PM

Is Sarah sick? Is she anorexic? If you look at Sarah's Iowa pictures, her skin looks like sun dried leather on a malnourished cow that is exposing her bones, veins and other stuff under her skin. I now understand why Bristol is the way she is. Bristol and Sarah are both insecure with their looks and has now gone to the extreme to change what God gave them.

Waiting for Willow to start changing her features.

2:00 pm posted the one from frum which is excellent:

    http://theweek.com/bullpen/column/218384/lessons-learned-from-the-palin-debacle

I'll give frum some credit here because he was never gaga irrational when it came to palin. maybe that's why his piece is a more accurate picture of the reality. brad whats-his-name - man that dude is fighting hard against reality. honestly he sounds like a real simpleton - the kind who is easily fooled by palin. that line - what a story! - made me go yeah, what a story dumbshit, you STILL think it's real, only now you're just disappointed that her skills aren't as terrific as the story.

the fairy tale troll must not be here today because it has so many other outlets to work with all these articles about her. maybe it felt overwhelmed and gave up.

It looks like Sarah's Iowa Bust Tour backfired on her.
    An Iowa poll of likely
Republican caucus goers released today showed
    Palin fading fast.
Palin was in single digits in fifth place with only 7% support.

" We Ask America" tried a bit of a different angle in this poll,
    asking Iowa Republicans what
one candidate they want to see as far away from the
    White House as possible ."

" Palin led the pack for the dubious honor with 25 percent
followed by Gingrich with 16 percent and Huntsman with 14 percent. ..."

That picture is really creepy..the look on her face is just sick. She is surely not aging well at all..and I agree with those who say she looks like she would smell.

I want to know why the hell that man with the watch in the front of the picture has that huge telescopic lens on his camera when he is 2-3 feet from her...is he taking pictures of her nose hairs? I would imagine he could see her plastic surgery scars quite clearly too.

I also, too, want to know why the hell Greta keeps talking to her. I used to like Greta...I even defended her to people who were critical of her remade face (I did think she looked better before though). I have lost all respect for her and the way she never, ever asks Mrs. Palin any real, off the cuff, questions but instead throws her prescripted soft balls. Not only does Greta look like a clown..she now acts like one. I must say..she is a terrific actress, to act like the insane mutterings of the biggest idiot in the world of politics (and that is saying a lot) have any value at all.

She and John McCain share the blame for pushing this totally crazy bitch on the rest of the country.
