A graphic that clearly explains the GOP's strategy of sabotage. Update!

Update: If you click here you can see an enlarged version of the graphic. I apologize that it was so hard to read.

Gryphen, even by clicking on the graph, one cannot "clearly" see it because the font is still too small. Not your fault, of course, but thought you'd like to know.

It's very difficult to read the chart even when enlarged. Can you post a link to the original source?

The Republican Party is a terrorist organization and should no longer be considered a political party. They are a threat to our country. That should be obvious to everyone by now. Like the Taliban in Afghanistan, they use terror and threats to further their extreme right wing agenda. It's incredibly sad that so many take them seriously and a testament to our failing education system. Which explains the radical right's assault on teachers and educations: They want Americans to be dumb so they'll continue to vote for them.

Republicans are also cheaters and don't play fair, they have to manipulate elections to win. Another treasonous action. Why they are allowed to continue to be political terrorists baffles me. They should have all been locked up long ago for treason.

Mitch McConnell's statement, that the goal of the Republicans in the Senate (and House) is to do everything possible to deny President Obama a second term, is traitorous. That might sound overly strong but it is true. The Republicans in the current Congress have been systematically trying to destroy the country by refusing to take on any of the issues that confront the American people and by refusing to compromise with the Administration. David Brooks is again complaining that President Obama needs to compromise. He's wrong. It's the Republicans who need to begin to compromise. No bills in the House regarding employment; filibuster in the Senate on hiring issues. It's time for us all to call them what they are: traitors.

    Well, DUH.

I've been saying this for over two years now. The Republicans want the country to fail. That way, they can blame President Obama and deflect the blame they should rightly accept for policies that set up the Great Recession as a virtual certainty after a financial shock.

It was stupid of Obama to play into that strategy, and not call them out immediately as soon as Rush Limbaugh said he wanted President Obama to fail, and the Republicans made it clear that they cared only about defeating him.

If roles were reversed, The GOP would be saying the Dems were talking down the economy and unpatriotic!! Obama tried to "listen" to their concerns. So stupid.

The GOP has accomplished something that Obama hasn't.

The GOP has convinced this Obama-despiser to actually vote again for Obama in 2012.

I was determined not to, because I think Obama's been such an epic fail of a Democratic president.

Well, I may have kissed a prince and wound up with a frog, but the Republicans are just totally poisonous toads.

My vote won't count either way; I live in a very blue state so Obama doesn't even need my vote. But I will cast it for him anyway.

    Way to go, GOP!

Thanks for providing a link to a site where we can enlarge the graphic. Amazing information that should be widely distributed. You're the greatest, Gryphen.

4:23 - I totally agree with you that big business is purposely not hiring.

It is seen as their long-term benefit to undermine this President, unfortunately. However, if the middle class is destroyed, who the heck is going to buy their services or products at the prices they want.

Thanks for the "fix"! This has been their goal since jump street. What's ironic is how it shows on their faces and in their actions. Did you ever see so many sourpusses in all your life?

I agree with the comment about business purposely not hiring. They're whining all the way to the bank.

I live in a traditionally red voting district in a traditionally democratic voting State, they're willing to not vote for anyone at all than re-elect Our President.

When Obama get's re-elected- they'll be the first ones to whine, kevetch, piss and moan.
