Greta Van "Sucks to still be interviewing Palin" asks the Grizzled Mama to talk for sixteen and a half minutes to meet her contractual obligations to Fox.

We will ultimately have to check with "Ripley's Believe It or Not," but I do believe that Palin just set a new land speed record for taking something that was not about her at all (The Herman Cain allegations), and switching the focus to make HER the victim.

In much of the interview Palin seems lethargic and uninterested, only really hitting those screechy high notes when she can bring the focus back to herself, as she does at the 3:30 mark when she declares that SHE has "never had an affair in my life." (Somewhere Brad Hanson and Glen Rice just did a spit take.)

Susteren then goes on to ask Palin questions as if she were not simply a side show freak, but instead a real political pundit, and Palin uses the opportunity to damn Romney with faint praise, and claim that "the cream of the crop has not risen yet in this very fluid primary process." (That last statement caused yet another eruption of glee from the Palin-bots in anticipation that she was hinting that SHE was the cream that had not yet risen. You can go ahead and write your own jokes about that.)

However it was not until the very end of the interview that the Palin nastiness was allowed to burst forth from its shackles after Greta asked Palin about the Sandusky Penn State scandal.

Palin responded by referring to Sandusky as a "perverted former assistant coach" and his actions as "sinfulness" before suggesting that they "hang him from the highest tree" and offering to "bring the rope."

Greta quickly dives in to do damage control, by trying to get Palin to walk back the remark, but Palin AGAIN makes the coment, only tempering it this time by saying "IF he is guilty of what has been alleged."

Now while I assume MOST of us share Palin's anger toward Sandusky for these alleged crimes, I would also assume that we would like to see him prosecuted by the justice system, and if found guilty incarcerated for as long as the law would allow. I seriously doubt that MOST Americans would prefer to simply form a lynch mob and string Sandusky up like some cattle rustler in the old west.

To my mind Palin's response to this possible criminal behavior, sounds less like a protective mother and more like an ex-victim of a similar experience. The way she uses sexualized language to attack and emasculate every male who dares to cross her, and her extreme viciousness in this particular case, seems to reveal a certain pathology which I believe might be at the heart of Palin's barely contained anger toward men, and her sexually manipulative nature.

Any thoughts?

Yes, she has a fixation on men, violations by them, threats from them, and sexual imagery that isn't appropriate coming from an adult man or woman, or from a legitimate politician. There is something in her past that's made her full of rage, spiteful, and aggressive. Why bring up her own sexual past, except to underscore the rumors?
On another note, the SeaofPee keeps running pix of her from three years ago, when she still had youthful vigor and sometimes a smile. Her latest iterations, in contrast, just underline how quickly she's aged, and how angry she is. Then there's the SeaofPea-Green Soup outfit she wore last night. Her stylist doesn't have her best interests at heart.

Remember - Palin has connections to Romney when she was running for office in AK.

I can't recall the facts enough to repeat it but had something to do with her Governor campaign and was illegal.

I have seen comments by people who want to know if Mike McQueady would have made more vigorous intercession if he had witnessed the same rape being performed on his own son. Good question.

In order to bring the subject of $arah Palin's blather into focus, I'd like to suggest that the photographs of Jerry Sandusky be shopped with Chuck Heath's face. As an ancient person, having watched the human race for a very long time, I'm confident about my opinions of this family. Sadly, I'm also confident that exposure and justice will almost certainly not happen in this world. I'm still watching.

I don't believe she was ever a victim; she is just full of hatred and vindictiveness. The anger she shows towards men, and in this case, Sandusky, is just an effort to show she is tough and strong and defender of the whole world (gag).

Something is very amiss with her now. She looks angry, doesn't even put on her perky Gidget face anymore, like back in the old 2008 campaign days. She looks like a mean, nasty slit-eyed angry woman.

Sarah the foul mouthed one, oh so presidential...and you're right Gryphen, she turns it right around to herself.

"It really SUCKS to be falsely accused, believe me I know because I have been also," she said. "Once a bell is rung it’s really hard to unring it. I’ve been accused of having affairs, and I’ve never had an affair in my life."

That would be a reference to a recent book suggesting she'd had affairs.

Her shelf life of "loving christian" is over and she proved that last night. She might as well have said that she denies Christ; this because of her "hang em from the highest tree and I'll bring the rope" comment. Says in the bible that when one receives forgiveness from God, they in turn are obligated to show that same forgiveness towards others. And that sentiment should come from the heart.

Of course, that doesn't mean the abuser should not be held accountable by the standing justice systems, but that the anger is tempered in showing mercy to that individual in his sentencing (like a hanging versus a long jail sentence).

Her wanting to bring the rope shows a woman who has no feelings, no charity, just revenge, revenge, revenge.

So glad that this dolt already has all the facts and knows exactly what happened. I guess she missed the part that says he is "accused" and that funny part of our legal system that says one is innocent until PROVEN guilty. This waste of space is already lynching someone. I do beliive she took this as an opportunity to denounce the affair allegations about Todd Palin. Once again she is doing the defending NOT Todd himself. Once again she never mentioned the Tripp incident. Also you are right she made Hermain Cain ALL ABOUT HER, must be too many visits at the All About You Spa. Also while she was really going out there about the allegations about her, her husband, and Cain, she was quick to want to pull a rope out and tie the noose around the allegations of Penn State's child molestor. She kept saying if it was true, she thinks he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law and even said he should be hung....could this be her own projections of what she wants to do to Todd for taking away so many young women's lives? Obviously she is still reading all the blogs. So Sarah when will you comment about your husband having Tripp plates in 2008? When will you have Todd punished to full extent of the law?

Haven't been to IM in a while. I see Sarah looks older, also kind of thin. Amazing the difference only 3 years makes.

So now she's a pundit? Does anyone even care?

As far as the hang 'em high remark I don't see see anything unusual about it. Although you don't usually hear it from pundits on tv, that's why it strikes you as severe. She's a loose cannon, you know her, she says anything.

Although, go check out comment sections on huffpo and other chats. Lots of pedophile-supporters out there, it surprised me.

In regards to SP's experiences, we don't know what they are, but obviously this hits close to home for her. I can tell you right now, she's not the cry-to-barbara-walters type. She'll go to the grave with it. To find out what was really going on in that family you'd have to talk to other females relatives, and perhaps friends of Sarah. A book by one of them maybe, years from now, may be the only way.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous8:41 AM

Whether it should be or not, child molestation is not a capital crime in the United States.

Palin knows that, so her "hang him" comment is pure emotional hissy-fit ignoring "rule of law."

Which is just one more proof that Palin doesn't give a rip about "rule of law" & is only interested in tossing out red-meat rants to her followers, who are equally unconcerned with "rule of law."

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous8:43 AM

Sarah has the right reaction. In real life of course, she would not hang anybody until they had been proved guilty to her satisfaction, and the satisfaction of a jury. But, her immediate emotional reaction is the genuine reaction of an honest woman.

Most politicians and "public figures" of any sort, measure their words in public. They try to always appear sober, reasonable, etc. Most times it is an act. All people have strong reactions to crime and evil, and are not afraid to say what they feel.

Sarah is not afraid to voice her honest reaction, just like she is not afraid to express many thoughts and ideas which many agree with, but are themselves afraid to say. That is why she continues, even today, to have a strong connection to white, working and middle class Americans.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anonymous8:44 AM

All this red meat hissy-fitting about "hang him from the nearest tree, I'll bring the rope" is nothing but childish spew for childish minds. But that's what happens when people mistake "feeling" for "thinking."

    ReplyDelete
  48. Anonymous8:45 AM

Nobody cares about her views on anything now and it is hilarious. Greta is just as disgusting as she is to keep having on her. Palin looks like an angry, old woman. All the vile she has inside is seeping out of her.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anonymous8:47 AM

I'm sick of touchy-feely emotional hissy-fits, grabbing at the most extreme red meat available, masquerading as public policy debate. Palin's comments reflect a high school mentality which has no place whatsoever in this country -- actual LEADERS are much more thoughtful & far less receptive to spur-of-the-moment blurting.

That is, in fact, precisely why Palin is not qualified for high political office -- she's nothing but a catty, thoughtless, little girl, dressed up as an adult woman.

  54. Anonymous9:12 AM

This is the first time I kind of agree with Palin. I think Sandusky should be strung up. Would I bring the rope, no, I would not, I do believe the justice system will take care of him. But I do understand that type of anger. I take comfort in knowing that prison justice will make his life a living hell for however long he is in prison. Inmates do not take kindly to pedophiles. I imagine he will be raped daily. That is fitting justice, I think.
On another note, I think we are all tired of Sarah Palin. She is still trying to make herself relevant, but I think no one cares any more. What's worse than hating the woman? Being indifferent towards her. Of course if she actually manages to reinsert herself into the lime light and into politics, I will once again care. Now? Not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Anonymous9:15 AM

Her reference to years of therapy seemed very personal. And I think Greta clarifying the hanging comment was in reference to Sarah and the supposed misunderstanding with the Giffords cross-hairs. It was pretty pathetic on both Greta and Sarah's parts.

What bothers me the most is the phraseology that Sarah and many others use about the "ruining" of lives as a way to emphasize the horribleness of the sex abuse. To ruin means that something is beyond repair and to label the victims as such really condemns them as much as the perpetrator. Although, tragically, sometimes these victims' lives are ruined, it is not always the case and they need to know that there is hope of overcoming the effects of the abuse.

Sarah's life priority is sports. To her, no game nor athletes should be punished because young innocent children were used, abused, possibly covered up for years in the shower rooms. Dozens of kids and students may have been abused and the lid is just being opened, yet Sarah thinks Rick Santorum is wrong, the game must go on.

I'd say that Miss Sarah decided before her Greta appearance that she'd make some shocking statements because she hasn't been in the news much lately. Today she's probably oozing in comfort by the fact her name will be again mentioned on tonight's news cycle. She doesn't care how un-pro-life she sounds (ropes and hangings), as long as she gets ATTENTION!

My former University recently honored a man who had affairs with highschool & college students. He lost his teaching license & his wife when at least one of these events came to life (a 14 year old girl). I know for a FACT that he likes his women mega-young. He had to move out of state to run away from the heat.

His best friend was in charge of the event.

When I read it about it in TWO alumni newsletters, I was just plain pissed off. It also stirred up a ton of emotions in me.

With this Penn State crap coming to light, it finally clicked that either the administration knew & didn't give a crap, or maybe his best friend just kept it quiet (which I found odd because everybody knew about it at the time - 20 years ago).

I couldn't possibly watch a Palin interview at this point. I cannot help but notice, in this picture anyway, how depressed she looks. And the makeup! Her face seems to be falling and she needs updated botox injections to keep the look she had not long ago. And more color, Sarah, more color. Greta looks to be freshly injected, and also looks like she has had hair implants but the style is just horrible. That thin, colored thing on Sarah's head actually looks like her own hair. It actually mimics Sarah, sad, colored, no substance and propped up somehow with every effort made to deceive. Anyway, interesting commentary from you, griffin, and very insightful. Yes, I believe she has been the victim of abuse, that is how these personalities are formed. Given her belief in the bible shouldn't she grant Mr. Sandusky forgiveness? After all, in her world, and her political world, isn't every decision we make a decision God has made for us? What about to forgive is divine? I know she left the country so she could hide from her followers. You know, in case anybody got violent over her con to get their money by hinting she would be running for President to fix every evil in their respective worlds. She knows the level she is appealing to and violence just goes with their nature. Well, she's back, however reluctantly, and certainly looks like she has something else on her mind. Whatever it is, it is not good. I for one cannot wait to read about it. You mean, someone in the federal government has woken up and is investigating her years as governor? Or the death of the father of her son? Or the parentage of her DS son? How could they not investigate her? As a public figure, she is held to a higher standard, a standard which she has taken to impossibly low depths. Something huge must be in the works because she has finally shut up. Much to the relief of sanity everywhere. And, oh sarah, why weren't you leading the cheers at the Teaparty convention? They wouldn't pay you or, in light of upcoming public investigations, they didn't want you? For that matter, why were all the republican candidates too embarrassed about the Teaparty to even show up at the convention? We can all breath a huge sigh of relief that none of the current crop of bozos running for the republican nomination for President saw the Tea Party vote as even consequential for them. That, or the money behind them finally said, no more of these lunatics influencing elections. It must have been quite the powerful directive if luney tunes Bachmann stayed home. You cannot have the uneducated, low IQ running the country. Even the big money nuts may now see that. Well, Ms. Palin, as we will all see eventually, you can run, but you cannot hide.

Oh nonsense. If there is one word that cannot be used to describe that petty, vindictive, thin-skinned harpy, it is "tough."

The brainless coward cannot even go on standard republican-friendly Sunday morning news shows. And she is too cowardly to engage in a two-way conversation with anyone who doesn't worship her.

Sarah Palin is not "tough." Sarah Palin is a vicious, incompetent, coward at everything she does.

  88. Something is wrong with Palin. Her affect and body language seemed flat to me compared to her victious words about Sandusky and his enablers...perhaps showing the faux disgust and anger of someone who isn't capable of true empathy. The talk of lynching and her hubris in saying she'll 'bring the rope' is classic Palin projection.

If Sarah Palin is going to talk about Sandusky, his enablers, and a lynching, I'd like to ask her about the Iditarod Elementary School, George Koenig (teacher & perp), Ray Carter (school principal & enabler), SEVENTEEN third-grade girls...and Chuck Heath (protector of the enabler). Heath aggressively led what's been called a 'lynch mob' against local school board members who dared to do the right thing and fire Carter.

The ironic excuse for supporting Ray Carter was that there wasn't a law requiring him to report the complaints of alleged abuse. SEVENTEEN girls! Aren't these the people who insist on personal responsibility and want government out of our lives?

Carter, the child molestation enabler was a party to a mortgage to help Palin buy a house in 1994.

I have seen no proof that $arah Palin is "genuine" and "honest," or cares about the law. That violent woman would hang someone if given the chance.

"Most politicians and "public figures" of any sort, measure their words in public. They try to always appear sober, reasonable, etc. Most times it is an act. All people have strong reactions to crime and evil, and are not afraid to say what they feel."

$arah Palin had the wrong reaction to the mass shooting in Arizona, making it all about her. I wish $arah Palin would keep her crazy bottled up.

"Sarah is not afraid to voice her honest reaction, just like she is not afraid to express many thoughts and ideas which many agree with, but are themselves afraid to say. That is why she continues, even today, to have a strong connection to white, working and middle class Americans."

Many people may agree with her stupid, old, and regressive ideas, but the majority DON'T. $arah Palin continues to have a "strong connection" to only a limited number of angry, uneducated, white middle-class racists. In direct response to Sarah Palin,
Posted by Shailey on Wednesday, November 16, 2011
I awoke this morning to find 11 emails asking me what I thought about Sarah Palin's appearance on Greta Van Sustern. In these various emails I was asked if this was a direct denouncement of my affair with Todd Palin. I had no clue what these emails were referring to. I went about my morning work and the family ritual of sending my children off to school. Then I happen to be sent a link to Immoral Minority's website. There is a clip of Fox News in which Greta is interviewing Sarah Palin. I listened to it.

I listened to it twice. I decided that this was a vague deflection of any affairs by herself or her husband. I also noted that my name or my allegations were not mentioned. I just want to be clear that I have not changed my story or backed down from my allegations about Todd Palin. I think perhaps Sarah Palin may be in denial or wants to reassure her supporting public that everything is okay. Perhaps she made the statement so the media will continue not to do their job and not ask her important direct questions: "Did Todd Palin have an affair with Shailey Tripp?" "Did he pay her for sex?" "Did you know her?" "Did she work at the spa in which you recieved cosmetic work and massages?" "Is Todd engaged in illegal sex trafficking?"

So my answer to all the emails I got today is thank you for making me aware. I wish to address Sarah Palin directly. Sarah Palin I am truly sorry this blind sided you. I am sorry I had an inappropriate relationship with your husband. I am sorry as a woman and a mother. I am sorry for my part in this affair and I am sorry it has become so public. I am ashamed by my own actions in this relationship with Todd. I know my apology can not mean very much to you or your family. None of this was ever meant to become public and I never had any intentions ever to speak in a public way aboutmy relationship with Todd. However it has become what it is and I feel I do have to stand up for myself. I hope we can all move through it in an adult like fashion. Todd, you probably should tell your wife the truth before she appears in public again. Sarah, if you doubt for one tiny second anything I have said, for your own peace of mind, privately go look at all your phone records, your emails, and Todd's emails, texts, etc. I also suggest you look in the Internet archives craigslist, backpage, adultspace, myspace, etc for some of Todd's user names and emails. I also suggest you have a private chat with Tiemessen about the potentially damaging role of the APD in regards to me. Girl power can be liberating.

Not to beat a dead horse, but here's some more good "I'm not a racist" posts from the Urinal. Yea, suffice it to say, they will put any sane-minded person on a Troll List, but they allow this sort of racist banter to go unflagged. Assholes, all of them.

Leroy_Whitby 31 minutes ago in reply to N4CER

Johnny come lately. This is our last chance. Poll on Drudge says 61% of the white vote against Obama. 68% of the non-white vote FOR Obama. To be for Obama at this point is ridiculous. We are doomed. Palin made an awful decision not running. Obama is the worst president in history and we've got 68% non-white for him and that demographic is increasing each year.

susiepuma 10 minutes ago in reply to Leroy_Whitby

yeah - well, that non-white is only 12% of the population and of course, they will vote for the fraud - they're programmed that way - will never vote for Republicans so who cares?

    ----------------

This group of people at the C4P complain constantly about others tromping on their "constitutional rights" but what do they write about? Non-White Americans and their attempt to be, "shudder", a VOICE in the political process. These poor little white trash hillbillies (and a few black people as well, unbelievably enough) spend their time whacking the minorities and basically delegitimizing their constitutional right as AMERICANS to have a voice in this country. These folks are the sickest bunch of psycophants (YEP, MADE A NEW WORD) that I've ever run across.

If these people ever deign to declare themselves NOT RACIST, then we now know better. They are crazy racists, even their TOKEN black commenters.

  120. What about Palin's allegations of threats to gang rape Willow and Bristol that she never reported to the school, police, or even her security guards? What about the abuse in the foster child network that Palin ignored and that resulted in the death of a child? Palin, herself, has been an enabler. Figure in her false accusations that certain of her critics are sexual predators and she has a history that minimizes the terror of actual victims.

I'm furious that Greta questioned Palin about Sandusky and failed to hold her accountable.

Refusing to veer from her utter predictability on such matters, Palin pronounced it unfair that Paul hasn’t gotten the media attention that his polling position might demand.

Then she mouths some words that suggest she’s forgotten one of the primary themes of her own time in the spotlight:

He can’t whine about it, though. Supporters can demand better of the media, though. But Ron Paul, he himself shouldn’t be the one to whine to the media about the unfairness.

The Google search “Sarah Palin whines media” nets more than 40 million results.

    "
To my mind Palin's response to this possible criminal behavior, sounds less like a protective mother and more like an ex-victim of a similar experience. The way she uses sexualized language to attack and emasculate every male who dares to cross her, and her extreme viciousness in this particular case, seems to reveal a certain pathology which I believe might be at the heart of Palin's barely contained anger toward men, and her sexually manipulative nature.

    Any thoughts?"

Interesting take. Could be. But nothing will ever cause me to feel a shred of sympathy for Sarah. I don't care what was done to her, she is a vicious creep.

If they aren't a neighbor, relative, friend or co worker it isn't an affair.

If they are minors it's not an affair.

If it's involuntary it's not an affair.

The grifter played it safe by only talking about Sandusky. Much of people's outrage is directed at Paterno, higher ups, and the graduate assistant for failing to report. And middle class.... That one is just freaking hilarious, as you realize this woman has now made millions and her lifestyle has exactly ZERO to do with any middle class family's. She also supports "free market principles" which most definitely have absolutely nothing to do with the middle class. They have to do with that 1%, foolish person.

President Clinton did some nasty stuff with Monica Lewinsky, but to my recollection it was never identified as "an affair".

The thing is that Sarah Palin never said she never cheated on her then boyfriend Todd Palin or never cheated on her husband.

A married woman can have a one night stand with a friend or a stranger and can still deny that she had an affair.

The best way for Sarah Palin to prove she never cheated on Todd is to take the lie detector test that was offered to her and if she passed the test she could make money for herself or a Down Syndrome charity who would be very happy to receive that money.

    How about it Sarah?

Sarah's sexual projection with males goes way back. What surprised me most with her lynching comment, is she's admitting she likes her men well hung, and anyone that falls short, she relegates to "purse carrier".

I pity Greta Van Palin babysitter. The poor mush mouth has to take the batshit's ranting and rephrase it to make her look sane. There IS no capital punishment in Pennsylvania. The man has a right to a fair trial, and the whack job wants to bring the rope herself.

I'm not condoning nor approving what happened in Penn State, just saying he's innocent until proven guilty. And why should this school be playing sports and getting federal funding when this has allegedly been going on and covered up for years?

"You did the right thing. Good for you."

    +++++++++

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have never actually told anyone about this (except for that failed time 20 years ago when it happened). I've hinted to my husband--I'm sure he knows what went on--but I can't actually put it into words. I do know my husband has nothing good to say about this man--a man who everybody just worships.

I always felt guilty about the 14 year-old student that he had an affair with. He told me he was going to find a 14 year old girl & have an affair & told me it would be my fault if he did. I remember he said "because of you..., because of you I will do it."

When I heard about the 14 year old later, I just went nuts. I basically flunked out of college- kept my grades high enough to stay in, but not good enough to graduate. I mean, this man was my highschool teacher & he worked at the University & got me a lot of $$ in scholarships. I then repeated the cycle by having not one - but two bosses - either have sex with me or foundle me.

20 years later & everytime I hear about an abuse scandal, I start to overeat & do other self-destructive things. I probably need therapy, but can't afford the $200/hr fee.

I think by telling the Unviersity about him - maybe this will push the University to punish those who helped him. Maybe. The ones who helped him are very, very powerful.

Now...should I tell his current wife? She is very young, blonde (like me), and probably knows nothing about it. It would ruin her life, though, so I wouldn't want to do that. What do you think?

I swear, its weird how much of this is going on and how much is covered up. What is the deal?
