Sunday on "America's News Headquarters" Governor Palin said she is impressed with Tebow's fearless bold display of his faith. "He knows that Jesus is going to rock your world when you give it over to him and he is bold about it," Palin explains.
As far as Governor Palin is concerned, Tebow is a model for us all, "(he) knows that the son of GOD should be honored and praised and Tebow does that and I respect it." Lucky for the current GOP presidential field, Tebow can't run for the Presidency foranother 11 years. The Governor does not express the same level of excitement for the current political field of GOP presidential candidate.
Once again, I simply do not care about a person's personal faith, just so long as they do not cram it down my throat. Especially if Sarah Palin helps them cram it down my throat.
However Tebow is getting to be a little obnoxious with this "Tebowing" craze.
But you know what this could mean don't you?
If this Sarah Palin endorsement does what a Sarah Palin endorsement USUALLY does, then Tebow is about to have the kind of run of bad luck that even Jesus will not be able to rescue him from.
That's right, it is Sarah "Everything I touch turns to shit" Palin vs Jesus "I rose from the dead bitchas" Christ! Let's see which one has the most juice to impact the next couple of games.

Who knows what might have been in the original documents? Regardless, the blatant disrespect these people have for anyone not of the rah rah church tells me that they are using their faith to dominate people, not using it for a better world. I'm pretty sure proper sentence structure has little interest to a woman who is still unable to figure out that the qualification for higher office does not include pageant walking nor touchdown scoring.

ReplyDeleteHe's been doing his thing the same way for the past 8 years throughout his high school years, 4 yrs at U of FL and then last year as a rookie in the NFL.
It's the media that's sucking up to him now and putting him up on the pedestal since he's had a couple of months of success this season.
From all indications, this kid is actually someone who does his best to walk the walk. Yeah, I, too, wish he'd tone it down just a notch or two. But he's just a year and a half out of college and FWIW, I was not all that polished myself at that age either.
All of the fake fundies are going to swoon over Tim but there's no need for us to blame him for those who are trying to exploit his image to favor their political careers.
Besides, as far as work ethic and leadership go, Tim is by, all accounts, a great teammate and the hardest worker according to his former coaches. Based on those facts alone, he's a role model for aspiring athletes. Hopefully, he'll mature and realize that drawing attention to himself by his public prayer is not helping his cause nearly as much as just living his life each day according to his Christian principles.
But right now, he's just a kid, and he appears to have a good head on his shoulders, which is more than I can say for Gov Roadkill Wig and P-Rick Perry who are trying to co-opt his recent success.
Oddly someone reported today that Tbone can't ever be POTUS because he wasn't born in the USA or a dependent military base like McCain - they were in the Philippines on a religious mission hence tbone not being eligible to be POTUS.

I don't know, Gryphen. I saw the Tebows at TGI Friday's last weekend, and they seemed really close and strong and busy. Tim had lots of smiles and fun when his mom cut up his Sizzling Chicken and Cheese for him. They even bought some gift cards for the people they are going to witness to in the Philippines. I overheard them cackling madly (yet still "keeping sweet" of course)about the time Sarah Palin called and tried to hook Tim up with her trashy daughter Brisdull. Can you imagine?!?!?
