The GOP presidential field is so weak that in New Hampshire President Obama gets 282 Republican primary votes.

"What? I received 282 votes in a Republican primary? 2012 is going to be a great year."
Courtesy of Politico:

Apparently not all Republicans dislike President Barack Obama quite so much: Nearly 300 registered GOPers in New Hampshire voted for him to be their nominee.

Indeed, 282 Republican primary voters wrote in Obama to be their candidate for the presidency, according to final results posted by New Hampshire’s secretary of state.

Just to put this into perspective, Obama only received 65 votes less than Michele Bachmann, and 122 MORE than Herman Cain.

And not to rub it in but the President received 282 more votes than Sarah Palin. Who received absolutely none.

Did you feel that?  That was the complete lack of any earthquake whatsoever.

Pbotz, you are of all people on this earth, most to be pitied for your loyalty to an ignorant, prevaricating, ignominius, and perpetually lying grifter of the 1st water.

Reading over at C$PEeee is utterly hilarious.

earthquakers will say "but...but...those votes haven't been revealed yet and won't be revealed until after results are certified".
They will say ANYTHING to keep the myth going. They have no other social outlet. Sea O' Pee provides their social interaction, and once there is no dream, they will lose their comfort zone. This means that they work to keep their dream alive by "money bombing" the grifter, and by constantly finding new hope in the ashes of their disappointment. I've never seen anything so depressing.

I want to shake them and say "look, buddy, she can't run, if she does, Todd's dealings with Shailey and other prostitutes will be ferreted out and exposed post-haste. Check Shailey's site. Please. Get it through your heads".

Exodus, the crazy peeebot that has been the central person stirring things up for the earthquake movement, was once again absent while Sarah was on Hannity last night. For anyone vaguely interested, Exodus is always absent while Sarah is on tv. I've been watching- it's a strange coincidence. I'm suspicious of whom s behind this Exodus character. her words sound an awful lot like some half term Gov in Alaska......

    Publication Date: May 1, 2012
From her early years in the Alaskan wilderness to the electrifying excitement of the campaign trail to her bright future as a star of the Tea Party movement, Sarah Palin's story is truly a remarkable one. In SARAH, her parents, siblings, best friends, college roommates, professional associates and many more open up like never before to reveal the heart and soul of the woman behind the podium.

Through personal stories and photos dating back to her childhood, readers will see a side of Palin previously unknown. Friends and family will share the source of Palin's faith, determination and the persuasive powers that have been used to confront and win over her most vocal critics.

Although Palin's early political heartache necessitated the growing of a thicker skin, she is still a woman of heart who loves her God, family, and country. SARAH is an insider's look at what makes one of the world's most recognized female leaders great."

It was the dumbest thing that I've ever seen. The purpose of it was to prove to the peebots that God was on her side or paving the way for her throughout her day or something ridiculous like that. Enough to make you vomit. Anyway, I concluded that Scarah is far too stupid to know that much about New Zealand to write it. Gryph - do you think Sarah's performance last night regarding Mitt and transparency has anything to do with her original backers? Do you think those people (I am guessing powerful religious types) did pick Sarah in February/March of 2008 and knew their best shot at using her was with McCain? Do you think that is why she faked her pregnancy? I do. The pieces have seemed to come together lately - especially when she is trotted out on Hannity demanding things from the Republican candidate that would probably destroy his run if he had to disclose. Someone is telling her to do this.

Unfortunately, having ventured into the Sea of Pee on occasion, I have seen that delusion and denial are the heartbeat of that site. Watching the commenters twist and roll trying to controvert facts and logic is a fascinating--if chilling--glimpse into deep delusional thinking.

This is how the Palin-bots will interpret the NH results:

Todd endorsed Newt so all the people who voted for Newt were ONLY voting for him because Sarah wasn't on the ballot. When Sarah jumps in, Newt will release his delegates to Sarah.

All the Santorum votes were REALLY for Sarah, because she said something nice about him some time back, so add them into the pile. And Perry--surely his supporters would switch to Sarah in a heartbeat were she to make herself available.

And those who voted for anyone else are just misinformed dupes who are being lied to by the GOP and/or the "lamesteam" media and/or the evil "Libs" (never an explanation of why we are evil--guess we just like it.) If these poor, duped voters were to get to know Sarah Palin as the Palin-bots do, they would of course flock to her side with exclamations of joy and relief.

So, in the mirror-logic wworld of the Palin-bots, there is actually a slowly building landslide of support for Sarah. When the front-running candidates get "taken out" by their own hubris or their records, Sarah will be seen as the only viable choice and be elevated to the status of the party's nominee by acclamation at the convention.

Then--magically--the scales will fall from the eyes of the vast majority of Americans who dislike/distrust/disdain Sarah and the country will rally around her to save us all from the evil black man in the White House. And Sarah will be elected to be POTUS of the real Americans and we will conquer the world under the banner of St. Sarah, Saviour of the World!

(oops--didn't some Jewish guy lay claim to that title? No matter, titles don't matter to the "Governor")

    Whew...

The delusional thinking is so strong in some of these people that they will be waiting for Sarah to hoist her banner until November 6th.

Then, I fear, some may completely derange and go postal--on some petty government agency or McDonalds or in front of the White House.

They are looking for Sarah to save them from something but the "something" is the darkness in their own cores.

You are right to see echoes (and funding) from Palin's previous backers in 2008 and the current battle between Romney and Gingrich.

These are a group of wealthy fundamentalists (Christian and Jewish) who support the most right wing elements in Israel. Just look at who in the right-wing is speaking out against Romney/Bain?

Take William Kristol, for example. He was one of the biggest supporters of Palin from the original Neo-Con vetting cruises to Alaska in the summer of 2008.

As Chris Matthews put it during the NH Primary coverage last Tuesday (speaking to Steve Schmidt): YOU know this [anti-Romney crusade by Gingrich and his backers] is not about the economy, it's about Israel.

  62. Anonymous3:33 PM

A super PAC supporting Newt Gingrich began airing TV and radio ads Thursday attacking Mitt Romney for his career in the private equity world.

The 30-second and 60-second TV ads label Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, a "corporate raider" and calls his company, Bain Capital, "more ruthless than Wall Street."

It quotes a number of people who claim to have lost their jobs after their companies were acquired by Bain, which Romney led from 1984 through 1998.

"He pulled the rug out from under our plant," one man says. Another man says, "Mitt Romney and them guys, they don't care who I am."

And the 30-second ad closes with a woman saying, "I feel that is the man that destroyed us."

Some had speculated that the super PAC, Winning Our Future, might not run the ads, given the enormous backlash that had come from all corners of the conservative movement against the criticisms.

But Winning Our Future spokesman Rick Tyler, a former Gingrich aide, said that the ads began running at 11 a.m. in South Carolina, which holds its primary on Jan. 21.

Winning Our Future has set aside $3.4 million to spend on TV ads in South Carolina, but Tyler would not say how much of that is going toward running the ads hitting Bain.

Sarah, bless her heart, got zero.

To borrow the words of a very wise blogger, the earthquake wasn't even a "Flea Fart".

To Anonymous who responded to my post abut the folks who voted for the President in the R Primary, I do read the facts before I post. The NH statutes say
" If the rules of a party permit a person who is registered as an undeclared voter to vote in the party's primary, any person desiring to vote in that party's primary shall also announce the name of that party at the time of announcing the person's name"

The NH R party says unenrolled voters may vote in their primary. So it is correct to say that 282 voters in the R Primary voted for the President. It is not correct to say that all of those voters were R's.

Wish it were so but it is not.

So anonymous please get your facts before you bash another supporter of the president and give a link that supports your thesis.
