Failed Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller is eyeing Sen. Mark Begich's seat, which will be up for contest in 2014, according to Washington, D.C., news website Politico.
In an interview with Politico while Miller was attending the Conservative Political Action Conference in D.C., Miller said that he's ruled out a 2012 run against Rep. Don Young, Alaska's lone congressman.
Miller did say, however, that "2014, that's a different story." And rather cryptically added that Begich "knows what the cards hold on that."
Miller is just blowing smoke, and hoping to keep his name in the spotlight for a little while longer before he fades into anonymity.
We have so much on Miller it is not even funny, and if he were to run it would be the most fun we have had in Alaska politics since we ran that evil woman form Wasilla out of office.
In other words, if I might borrow a phrase from the teabagging loser, Miller "knows what the cards hold on that."
Is he really the best that the Tea Party has to offer? He has a law degree-- does that mean he is smart, or only that he knows how to answer questions for a specific group?

I'm surprised he would even consider running for office again. After the humility loss from a write-in candidate and all money he cost the state contesting that election, along with all the negative attention he drew to himself, he must not have a clue where he stands in the voter's minds. In addition, I'd be very suspicious were he got enough campaign funds to run.

If you ask me, while it may just be a rumor about Joe Miller, my suspicion is that there are a lot of powerbrokers running around AK and elsewhere who essentially "owe" the Palins a lot to keep those "records" hidden, dontcha think, and may very well be at the crux of the big "lie" about Palin - along with all the other "gates"?
Furthermore, I wouldn't be surptised this is why she left office - the FBI knows, so do the GOP! This crap may take awhile to unravel and be disclosed, but usually, these kinds of things have a way of coming to the forefront, especially when the perps are essentially stupid people!
