Karl Rove explains how much a Palin endorsement is worth in this Presidential election cycle. It's snot funny either.

"The Palins endorsed Gingrich? He's doomed! Doomed I say!"
Courtesy of Buzzfeed:

Karl Rove mockingly dismissed the value of Sarah and Todd Palin's endorsements on a private conference call today, noting that their backing of Newt Gingrich in Alaska "demonstrated that endorsements don’t mean snot."

Actually to be fair, I think that snot is worth just a little bit more.

Especially since even in Palin's home state Gingrich placed dead last out of a field of four candidates.

This from ADN:

With 100 percent of the vote in, Romney had 4,285 votes, or 32 percent; Santorum had 3,860 votes, or 29 percent. Ron Paul, the only candidate to personally visit Alaska ahead of the vote, finished third, with 3,175 votes, or 24 percent. Newt Gingrich placed fourth, with 1,865 votes, or 14 percent. Thirty-four voters were uncommitted.

Like I said, if a good sized glob of snot would have endorsed Gingrich he just might have edged out Ron Paul for that coveted third place finish. But with Palin on his side he's just lucky he didn't get struck by lightning, or a meteor even.

Now if you will excuse me I have to go wash my mind out with soap.

I can't believe I agreed with Karl Rove again!

What was really dumb was the MSNBC pundits trying to figure out why she backs Newt. Remember, he is the ONLY one of the 4 to say that he respects her and would 'offer her a post in my administration.' So of course she'll whore herself for him. Small price to pay for her free ride to DC...no money, no debates, no vetting.
But since the Palin allure is now worth a Kleenex ful of snot, I think she'd best start planning for LAF...life after Fox. What will be the next Palin scam?

    1. thats not why she backs newt.

palin hates the idea that anyone has more influence with the far right loons then she does.
she would never back sanatorium because it would be giving away her perceived power enabling him to control the loons.

and basically thats the same reason why she wont support romney.(besides the mormon thing)
she will never do anything that she perceives as losing her own influence.

newt does not have the ability to do that.
remember palin doesnt give a rats ass who wins elections outside of how she can come around after the fact and try to exert her own ambitions.

      get it?

Sally, the next Palin scam is to cozy up and ride the coattails of the GOP winner. Call me..wink wink.

If that doesn't work, it's back to bashing the president.

I don't get why Republicans won't call out Sarah the political pariah that she is.

I feel dirty even saying this- but my greatest hope for babygate exposure is in Rove. I have heard over and over if Sarah tries to horn in on the GOP election or convention in any meaningful way, he WILL unbury some of those bodies he knows about. I think that is why Palin has been so careful to only let others dictate her possibility of participating in a brokered convention. If she was actively pursuing it, Rove would kibosh that business quicker than he inhales the souls of puppies.

Rove said that the only candidates up for consideration in a brokered convention are those that are already running - so not Sarah Palin. She knows this. The only reason she is talking about it at all is to grift more money from her bots. I am curious what her public pac disclosure will say next time. Probably that she made $100. Those "advisers" are expensive. She will have to let many of them go soon. I bet Meg is first. She really hates women.

      Delete
    2. I don't know...I have a feeling that when it comes to who knows where Palin bodies are buried- NOBODY patrols a bigger cemetery than megamouth.

Technically Meg has already been "let go"- as in not an official PAC staff member. But believe me, some of that $200,000 for "political mailings" (political mailings in 2011? Almost a quarter MILLION dollars worth? For someone who ran for no office, held no office, and did not do mailings on behalf of any other candidate?) is payoff hush money. And Meg, Sharon, and Ivy probably get Costco sized slices of THAT pie.

As to the brokered convention- Colbert was saying last night that if [XYZ] were to happen, Palin COULD storm the convention. But I was on the phone and I didn't hear what XYZ was!

Karl is a professional. He has probably seen a lot of fakers out there. So obvious he sees through her. It's snot surprising she's trying to shake things up and ruin the rightful chosen nominee's chances. She doesn't care about the Party, just herself and wants to be 'begged' to come aboard.

Sarah didn't even have the guts to outright endorse Newt (she's sticking her finger in her mouth and raising it in the air, testing the winds) she had to throw Todd in the deep end to test the waters for her.

Todd shrieking like a little girl whined that Newt took a beating, just like they do, so they identify with the angry attack muffin.

He took dead last Sarah, defeated, so to speak. How do you like them moose nuggets?

The level of public political discourse is now so debased and crude: "snot," "wee-weed," "panties in a wad," "slut," "prostitute." Note that these are all quotes from Republicans.
Perhaps here on IM we could bring the discussion back from this low level, using words and phrases that express our opinions without resorting to the vocabulary of the schoolyard.

Actually, the President said "wee-weed up" first. For whatever reason, Palin has used that phrase many times since. Otherwise, your comment is accurate, albeit a little prissy.

I disagree with Rove about endorsements having influence. It depends who is making the endorsement and the attributes it is founded on.

Palin promotes Gingrich while denying she is endorsing him. She has lost many of her supporters and more who were undecided waiting to see if she studied and governed. She chose reality tv and to not study. Palin has little credibility by her own hand therefore an unofficial endorsement has little influence from her in 2012.

    6. I almost want to agree with you 6:00 am, but I hesitate to tell anyone else what words they should choose. I do notice that the pundits like Matthews, Halperin, Scarborough and a couple others in the media jump on these blog comments to 'back up' Palin's claims of victimhood. Scarbourgh is the worst. He can trample over her when it suits him but criticizes when others do it. I notice they rarely quote or comment on the scurrilous vile things said about our President and those who don't adore her from the pro-palin sites.

I think most of the paid pundits fear having the wrath of palinbots released in their direction but can insult her detractors with impunity as the worst we can do to them is change the channel.

Boehner is involved, but the FBI would not wiretap him. Check out the story.

Karl Rove did advise the Quitter to study up, build her political cred which would have led to more fame and glory but she instead chose the celebrity populist route prancing and preening like it was a beauty pageant all over again. Her very actions or inactions virtually destroyed her publicly and politically.

She said herself that in these days her political opinions aren't worth a hill of beans. Rove is simply agreeing with a condescending "I told you so". I'm not a fan of Rove but his insights on Palin is spot on.

That he does on the record here show not only the he is contemptuous and dismissive of La Palin, but also signals that the gloves are off and she has no special protection from here on out.

Watch for others to become more comfortable speaking out on her ridiculous pronouncements and egotistic moves. She's proven herself not only irrelevant, but a nuisance and impediment to the serious business of salvaging the GOP this election cycle.

Especially after the movie Game Change, she will be the handy scapegoat for the narrative explaining the precise point that the party started its descent and it all went to hell.

Sarah has proven herself to too be stupid and narcissistic to understand that she needs to shut up and stay out of the way as the GOP crashes and burns this election cycle.

So you know she's going to keep mixing it up right up until the convention. She is corrosive for America, but for now she is increasingly obvious as a corrosive force in the GOP. She is worsening and prolonging the problems the party pros are beginning to show real concern about.

The movie Game Change will provide the story line that explains how SHE was the problem, how SHE caused this downward cycle in the party.

Won't it be lovely to watch as Rove leads the snarling pack of GOP operatives to destroy Sarah once and for all.

Not only is she unserious and poorly advised, but she is wildly unpredictable in her whims, vendettas and grudges. The party can't do much about Rush, but Sarah's currency has now been so devalued that she's expendable.

Looks like the Turd has given a message to Baldy. You can't tell me that ole Turdy didn't give permission for that "private conference call" to be leaked! Let's see if the old girl will take the bait! LOL!

It should be noted that the turnout vote for our Alaskan Republican primary was low and lower than our last one (which was 14,000+). It is being noted across the nation that turnouts were lower than expected too. Ya think the Republican party is in trouble folks?

  47. PS...per the Turd's picture....has the man never heard of teeth whitening?

His breath probably smells like...uh....well...turds of course!

At least untalented non moving Bristol Palin can brag she finished 3rd on DWTS while her mama's pick finished 4t in Alaska.

I'm not surprised with what Rove has to say about her. Likely because she is a teapartier but the reason I'm not surprised is the Bush's denounced her all along. If you watch the interview with Oprah and Bush...Oprah asked him what he thought about Sarah Palin to which he said he wasn't going there, and gave his half assed chuckle, it was quite funny, he felt like he was on the spot. Then his mother said to Larry King that she wished she would just go away. So there is no doubt that the Bush'ies didn't like her and didn't want to see her in any part of the Republican party.

I also wanted to note watching the video of SP on CNN at the voting booth that there wasn't a single sole in the background paying any kind of attention to this media loving whore. Did anyone else notice this? I mean, aren't these suppose to be her fan base voters? I guess Alaskan Republican voters have got the real sniff of her and they want her to just go away.

I noticed. No one even glanced in her direction. I think under usual circumstances that would have been pretty hard to do--ignoring a national news camera like that. Then there was the CNN headline making such a big deal about her casting her vote...who cares???

    2. I noticed that and commented on another thread. They were almost deliberately ignoring her. No one even trying to get their mug in the shot. It was like she had the plague. Quite a come-down for the former governor.

I just Googled the population of Wasilla, to see its about as many people as turned out for the entire Alaska Republican primary.

A city no one ever HEARD of prior to Sarah Palin making it the butt of jokes.

I can only hope this is an indication that the whole nation is coming to the obvious conclusion that it does not matter which of the clowns in the tiny car, is the last standing...they are all ridiculous, and in no way should even be considered as "Presidential."

She hasn't given up. She wants a brokered convention and thinks they will turn to her.

She is undercutting the GOP anyway she can. If they don't do her in now, it will be a more of a mess than they can fix.

    Palin is crazy.
