From the Lunatic of Lake Lucille's Facebook page:
We are all stunned and saddened by the news of Andrew Breitbart’s passing. Andrew was a warrior who stood on the side of what was right. He defended what was right. He defended the defenseless.
It is so sad to consider his four young children who have lost their dad. All our prayers are with his family now. May God comfort his wife and children.
Many of us will have life-long memories of our work or encounters with Andrew. May we draw on those to help forward the cause of fighting for what is right. For me, just one of those memories was in Pella, Iowa, last year after the premier of “The Undefeated.” Andrew held court in the restaurant at the local hotel talking about his favorite topic: how “culture is upstream of politics” and how conservatives must be unafraid to fight the leftwing media, cultural, and political establishments. The loss of his voice in this fight will be deeply felt, but thankfully his work lives on at his “Bigs,” and thank God for his inspiration and leadership.
God bless you, Andrew. Rest in peace, friend. We will continue the fight.
- Sarah Palin
Okay first off, Breitbart was NOT a warrior! Warriors put their lives on the line for something they believe in!
Breitbart destroyed people's lives for the sheer fun of it. And then acted like HE was the victim when people call him out for being a horrible human being. (Sound like anybody we know?)
And yes it is sad that he leaves behind four young children, and we all feel badly about that, but acting like this guy is any kind of hero is simply an insult to the real heroes in the world today.
However I imagine to the likes of Sarah Palin this would be just the type of person that she would look up to.
Nobody deserves to die at such a young age, but I am simply not going to pretend that this guy was a contributing member of our society. He wasn't! He was a force of pure destruction.
And for that matter, so is the owner of this particular Facebook account.
After Sen. Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts died in 2009, Breitbart tweeted "Rest in Chappaquiddick" and called him "a special pile of human excrement." When critics questioned his tone, he tweeted they "missed my best ones!"

Unlike Breibart, I won't revel in the death of someone with whom I disagreed. Breibart showed himself to be a classless piece of shit after Ted Kennedy died. Here's another account of Breibart's brand of nastiness:

Andrew Breitbart Unleashes A Torrent Of Invective Against Sen. Ted Kennedy’s Legacy On Twitter
By Matt Corley on Aug 26, 2009 at 5:30 pm
Early this morning, news broke that Sen. Ted Kennedy had passed away after serving in the U.S. Senate for nearly 50 years. Soon after, conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart began a sustained assault on Kennedy’s memory, tweeting “Rest in Chappaquiddick.”
Over the course of the next three hours, Breitbart unapologetically attacked Kennedy, calling him a “villain,” “a big ass motherf@#$er,” a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick.” “I’ll shut my mouth for Carter. That’s just politics. Kennedy was a special pile of human excrement,” wrote Breitbart in one tweet.
"A special pile of human excrement" applies in this situation. Good one, Andrew.
DeleteWhen Palin writes:- "Andrew was a warrior who stood on the side of what was right. He defended what was right. He defended the defenseless." I get a sick feeling in my gut. WTF is she talking about?
DeleteTo verbally attack Ted Kennedy after he died is showing what a cowardly bully he really was. Kind of fitting he dropped dead on the sidewalk. I don't think he's going to the same place as Ted.
DeleteBreitbart was an asshole. Now he's a dead asshole. He's gone back to the place where he was before he was born, which is nowhere, and we're better off without him.
DeleteIf there was ever anyone even more foul than Palin, it was Andrew Breitbart. No wonder she mourns his stinking drunk ass.
ReplyDeleteGo right ahead, Sarah et al, call me a hater. I'll take it as a compliment. I hated Andrew Brietbart and everythign he stood for and I'm glad he dropped dead.
Oh but his poor wife and kids! Gee, let me ask my hater self, do I care about the Andrew Breitbart family? Yeah, just about as much as he cared about mine - that is to say, NONE.
Oh and Sarah? Fuck you too.
Well, WGE got the stunned part right. Guy was only 43? Wonder what happened.
ReplyDeleteYou have to wonder if Sarah Palin has the insight to consider her Red-Bull-imbibing, binge-and-purging, obsessive-compulsive, manic lifestyle, and vow to change for the better/more healthy since she's 5 years older than the late Andrew B., and just as careless with her vital organs.
DeleteI think his heart was so full of hate and nastiness that it simply stopped. His kids are probably better off without listening to ugly comments.
DeleteI think his heart was so full of hate and nastiness that it simply stopped. His kids are probably better off without listening to ugly comments.
DeleteI think his heart was so full of hate and nastiness that it simply stopped. His kids are probably better off without listening to ugly comments.
DeleteI read that he had heart problems. It might have been the lack of a heart that was his biggest problem.
DeleteWhile I do feel badly for any child to lose a parent while still young, beyond that.....uh...can't even say RIP, unless the "P" is "payment" or some such.
ReplyDeleteIt stands to reason SapSarah would mourn him; he was one of the few who could lie as freely as she does.
Wonder if it's occurred to her that perhaps God struck him down? She seems to think she and her ilk are anointed, but maybe 'tain't the case, old gal. Maybe her God is sick of the lies she and her sticktites perpetuate in His name....
I am glad he is gone. Just as I will be glad when all the bigoted old people who watch Fox news die. Whatever it takes to get the critical thinkers into the huge majority in the world.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel one bit sad.
Lickspittle Sarah Palin eulogizes Andrew Breitbart.
ReplyDeleteDoes anything make the case clearer about what Breitbart was?
Thanks for the laughable shit, Sarah. Warrior my ass. If you call
a sociopathic nightmare who doctored videotape a warrior--we know your level.
Sarah must have had to wake Rebecca or one of your ghostwriters up mighty early to write this piece of tripe.
One less bagger in this country, thank goodness. Hopefully his children can find a decent role model to emulate now that their vile father is dead.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading so many of her emails, it is no big surprise that SarahPAC is launching a campaign against Game Change. They are trying to force HBO to label the upcoming film a work of fiction. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteFrom TPM:
http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entries/palins-sarahpac-calls-on-hbo-to-label-game
All they are doing is giving Game Change free publicity and HBO is laughing all the way to the bank.
DeleteThe last time I saw Breibart on Keith Olbermann's show, Andrew was ranting and scream uncontrollably at some Occupy People. I think that clip should be the tribute to Breibart tonight. Gone but not forgotten. The evil that men do lives after them.
ReplyDeleteI was catching up on Olbermann clips I'd missed two nights ago and saw some of those, and thought to myself "man, that guy's gonna bust a vein". So, it might be my fault.
DeleteActually, no, I don't believe that, but I am sure that allowing himself to be constantly outraged and angry (apparently all the time) was a major factor in his early demise.
Hate and rage kill, hate and rage consume from within.
Unfortunately, hate, rage and dramatic controversy play well on TV (and video, and the internet). Mr. Breitbart played that role for the money and the fame (I'm not convinced it was because of his convictions), and I am convinced that that is in large part what killed him so young.
Condolences to the family, and may the healing begin.
Preaching hate for money..lets see, who else does that??
Deletegot im!
ReplyDeleteYou're wrong, Gryphen. He contributed much to our society. Hate, fear-mongering, etc. He showed no respect for people like Kennedy when he passed. That was his right. He tried to ruin the lives of people like Sherrod, by deception, no less. That was not his right.
ReplyDeleteI will neither feel nor show any for him. The world is a little less evil today.
Thank you, Gryphen. Exactly.
ReplyDeleteThe negativity which animates the Palins and Breitbarts of the world is for me, evil. Perhaps some don't ascribe to the very notion of evil, but I believe it's among us.
To call this man a warrior is to desecrate the honor of the true warriors in our midst.
Totally agree with your post, Gryphen. Like Joe Paterno, his legacy will always begin with the scandal. "Freaks and Animals," and "stop raping people" will be what he's remembered for. And just because somebody dies we shouldn't forget the havoc they wrought. When the likes of Cheney, Rummy and other war criminals go, I won't dance a jig -- but I won't shed a tear, either.
ReplyDeletePeace, All. Let's get rid of all these hateful Baggers in November, eh? Obama landslide!!!
Hi Sarah, Welcome Back!
ReplyDeleteQuick question, Where's Trigs Birth Certificate?
He gets to go explain to Teddy what he really meant by those comments of his. Then again, I don't believe in heaven so I suppose he's just going to rot in the ground - no remorse for him today, glad to not have to endure his shenanigans anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnd I get a feeling little of any worth or beauty will grow from that ground.
DeleteI feel no sadness at his passing. Grover Norquist could be the next and I would shed no tears. Hate is hardest on the hater. Perhaps hate simply corroded him.
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to have children lose their parents. I hope none of his follow in his footsteps, though. That would be sadder still.
OT - but related the same category of hate as Andrew and Palin embrace --- please read this article and become aware of this most extreme law against women backed by many people who thought Andrew Breitbart was their guiding light.
It will allow doctors to withhold life-saving information in the GOP's quest to avoid abortion at costs - including the life of the woman.
It will also prevent wrongful death cases except in the case of the death of the woman (the one "compassionate" aspect). Governor Brownback said he will sign it even though he has not read the bill at all!!!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/29/kansas-abortion-bill-governor-sam-brownback_n_1307076.html
This is what comes from having people like Breitbart in the public spotlight, spouting their ignorant and cruel drivel.
Please give the KS article the spotlight it deserves so we can drive all these cockroaches (no offense to insects) out of our lives.
LOl, maybe he screened Game Change and died of Takotsubo syndrome (broken heart syndrome).
ReplyDeleteRe: what Breitbart had to say about Sen. Kennedy: don't emulate Andrew now. Did it feel good to hear those words about Sen. Kennedy? Then be a bigger human today.
ReplyDeleteCondolences to Andrew's family.
I am sure his mother loved him.
DeleteOh that Sarah! There she goes again, urging her disciples to fight the very things the Dominionists want to take over. Her "statement" is one dog whistle after another, even the blatant plug for that hit movie of hers. What with AB kicking the can and Romney's wins in AZ and MI, the Bots are having a no good, very bad, rotten little week and are in a can-throwing spin over at the Pond.
ReplyDeleteSidebar: what'll happen to little Jamie O'Keefe now, without AB to protect him? (evil grin)
Already the insane right is out with the conspiracy theories. President Obama sent Chicago goons to murder Breitbart! Oh and George Soros too! These clowns obviously don't understand that, yes, young people can drop dead. Strss, heart issues, which I did read he was dealing with, and whatever else. He was a destroyer and even posted he was thrilled to make enemies. Now what kind of asshole finds glee in that!?
ReplyDeleteI saw this: Obituary: Andrew Breitbart (1969 to 2012) Mr. Breitbart was preceded in death by his soul.
Truer words!
John Ziegler, Frum, Ann Coulter, Tammy Bruce have seen the light about our Sarah;
ReplyDeleteEven InSannity is more lukewarm about her;
Her good friend Andrew left(she must be furious, since everything is about HER own person, he could have waited a little longer ) ;
Glenn Beck has disappeared or lost his "power";
So who is going to speak for her and promote her apart from Limbo ?
I wonder what happens to the lawsuit Shirley Sherrod had filed against him.
ReplyDeleteAnd, once again, $arah makes it all about her.
Good question . . . either way, she wins.
DeleteBrietbart's estate now must defend the lawsuit.
DeleteCertainly Breibart along with his protege' O'keefe, are not people I seriously care for, and I feel their morals and values were badly misplaced, but with Breibart's passing in leaving a wife and 4 young children, not to mention his parents and friends, this is a great loss that they will forever have to endure. To them I give them my full respect and sympathy. It's alway sad when a life is taken away so young.
ReplyDeleteLike Christina Taylor Green?
DeleteI wish I could voice what I'm really thinking about Palin regarding this matter, but I will keep it to myself.

"God bless you, Andrew. Rest in peace, friend."
ReplyDeleteHuh? Don't you know where he is now, $arah? He's warming a seat for you (actually, all the seats are already warm).
Here is the dearly departed, introducing Palin in my beloved Madison, telling the protesters to "go to hell". http://motherjones.com/mojo/2011/04/breitbart-wisconsin-labor-hell
ReplyDeleteMy blood still boils at the thought of both of these vile monsters sticking their noses into Wisconsin's business.
Mine too. Hilariously, though...no sign of them during the recall.Crickets. Good. Stay out of Wisconsin, Sarah, we have no room for your vile spewing of hate here.
DeleteTeflon Tessie MUST be in a panic about Game Change and the diminished cash flow at her own little private ATM--from the Pond:
ReplyDeleteSarahPAC released a brilliant video this morning. They took Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt’s own words during the campaign, and proceeded to destroy whatever it is these two are selling to their liberal friends these days.
http://conservatives4palin.com/2012/03/sarahpac-releases-game-change-we-can-believe-in-video.html
I haven't watched the video as yet, but there's an interesting letter from the PAC there, and I'm sure the vid is more of the same old tired crapola set to nightmare music. And of course she rips off yet another of Obama's lines for the title...
They don't seem to understand that Nicole and Steve were PAID to say those things. Do they really think they would trash one of their own candidates before an election? No of course not. It was their job in 2008 to convince people to vote for McCain/Palin. Just like some lawyers have to defend murderers and rapists, its their JOB.
DeleteWhy doesn't Paylin just file a lawsuit if it's all lies?
Delete@11:43 That's what's so awesome... only a brainwashed Palin supporter wouldn't immediately realize that those statements were meaningless and paid for! So, once again, Palin, by proxy, preaches to the choir while making herself look even more stupid to everyone else. Bravo, 'bots, nice job! ROFL
Deletemaybe there really is a god
ReplyDeleteif sarah palin drops dead now
I'm a believer
Believing does not necessarily require seeing . . . not with the natural eyes anyway.
DeleteAnd no, sarah will not get away with her evil deeds, as there will indeed be HELL to pay.
What did he overdose on?
ReplyDeleteWas it hatred, or something chemical?
At age 43 I assume it was illegal drug overdose.
DeleteSarah should take heed of what happened to Brietbart...harboring that much hate can destroy you.
ReplyDeleteCondolences to the family. Thank Goodness there is one less republican conservative racist drunk in the world as of last night.
ReplyDeleteYou should really question the mind of anyone who thinks this man was a force doing good. I think Drudge will be heartbroken.
this was one of the lowest pieces of crap to draw air,, kinda like some of the palin clan. some of us rejoice this scum is gone.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah Palin, John McCain & Co for what you have helped reduce public and political discourse to. No respect for the office of the President, no respect for the dead, bloggers and commenters who denigrate the appearance, intelligence, morals, etc of people they've never met and it's all okay because we are blessed with First Amendment rights to be boorish jack holes and hide behind our screens & keyboards.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I appreciate the irony of publishing my comment as "anonymous" - I will be honest and say that I am too lazy and absent minded to register accounts, names, etc and keep track of them. Thank you for allowing my comments, Gryphen
“No respect for the office of the President, no respect for the dead, bloggers and commenters who denigrate the appearance, intelligence, morals, etc of people they've never met and it's all okay because we are blessed with First Amendment rights to be boorish jack holes and hide behind our screens & keyboards.”
DeleteYou just described that hypocritical, boorish, jack hole, $arah Palin her bots perfectly. Fuck $arah Palin, and John McCain!
We've been saying for many years there's a special place in hell for people like him. Hope he's rotting there and Palin & Limbaugh & ...........will follow shortly.
ReplyDeletegiddyup
He defended the defenseless.
ReplyDelete---------
Since when are the 1% defenseless?
On HuffPo virtually everyone is being very kind to his memory...but when they say he spoke 'truth' I just had to leave. The man was noit about truth. He was about furthering his agenda at whatever cost to the people involved. He hurt people on purpose...so yes, I can see why Sarah idolized him.
ReplyDeleteBreitbart helped Arianna Huffington found HP back in the days when he was a "California liberal." So no wonder why the big love fest and the huge pic of AH's tweet this morning.
DeleteDon't kid yourself too much about HP. For the most part it's been hijacked by conservative commenters and the moderators there are probably scrubbing any negative comments about him so only the least offensive ones get through. Remember he and Arianna were snuggle buddies and he was there in the early days of HP so they have clamped down on any negatives that go past a mild slapdown.
DeleteNo surprise. The Huffington Post has been taken over by right-wing idiots, the past few years. The Huffington Post started blocking more posts from Lefties, while letting almost all of the right-wing posts through. That’s why I stopped going over there about 2-3 years ago. Arianna Huffington is a former republican, who supported the impeachment of Bill Clinton. I think she is still a republican. Her true colors (as well as the numerous others at the HP) come out far too often.
DeleteThey're posting only the "nice" stuff about Breitbart.
DeleteBelieve me, the world is better place without him.
I stopped patronizing FluffPo about a year ago. Good riddance.
Delete"He was a force of pure destruction." And I would add, evil personified, which is why palin can relate to his brand of lunacy.
ReplyDeleteGod shall not be mocked.
+++
The guy was a horrid man - as Sarah is a horrid woman! Both will meet in hell there is no doubt!
ReplyDeleteRight, now she wants to mythologize him too. Good luck. He was as much in it for himself as she is for herself.
ReplyDelete"Continue the fight?!?" For what? Regression, repression, and pre-Medieval thinking?
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Sarah...asshole.
Maybe Breitbart's family members will invite Sarah to eulogize at his funeral. It'd be a great opportunity to refocus the spotlight on her and to solicit SarahPAC donations.
ReplyDeleteShe's probably got her handlers on the phone now trying to set it up.
DeleteHatred is one of the only things that destroys the vessel containing it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not glad Breibart is dead.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been much better to see him publicly humiliated, his reputation damaged beyond repair for liberals and conservatives alike.
Or, better yet, if he had a revelation that everything he believed was ill-informed, dangerous crap. That way he might have actually done some good in his public life, instead of continuing to gnawing at the fabric of decent society like a rabid rat.
As it stands, I won't cheer that Andrew Breibart is dead, but neither will I shed a tear.
I'm with you, he is being martyred today - what a sickening joke. Prison would have been a far better ending to the Breitbart story.
DeleteThe man was a monster, inflicted pain, inspired hatred and fear, spoke of civil war! The only decent thing I've seen from him was his support of GoProud, it's actually a head-scratcher.
I agree with you. I'd have liked to have seen what happened with Shirley Sherrod.
DeleteAll I will say is that I thought he was a vile man yesterday...his death hasn't changed my opinion of him.
As for Sarah, once again she doesn't have enough class to write about Breitbart without mentioning "The Undefeated." That's very tacky Sarah.
Seems odd that he's known to have died of "natural causes" when no medical authority has stated the official cause of death or done an autopsy or blood studies. The very first reports included that phrase...and I believe they were from his own people who as far as I know are not medical examiners.
ReplyDeleteExactly! I found that very interesting too. Most times natural causes are a stroke, an aneurysm or heart attack and they generally state such. The quick "natural causes" statement seems like it could be a coverup. Instead of stating the cause of death is pending or being more specific. Think about Whitney Houston. Her cause of death was pending an autopsy. If he just collapsed and died, I doubt they would know the exact cause of death without an autopsy.
DeleteThe timing is interesting too. On a walk after midnight? Wonder if they'll release a 911 call. He and his team were all about crafting false narratives, so the fact that they might craft one about his death isn't far fetched at all. My first thought when I heard was drugs, then suicide and finally heart attack. He seemed like a very troubled and angry person. I often thought it was an act, but perhaps it wasn't.
Rich white peeps get those doverdose deaths covered up.
DeleteAs far as I know, autopsies are only done when there is no witness to the death or if a family member requests one. Since he died at the hospital, I am not at all surprised the official cause of death was reported as 'natural causes'. Of course, what that means can be anything, but if the family is satisfied with it, then, well, I'm satisfied with it.
DeleteA heart attack is a 'natural cause' and that's the first thing I thought after seeing him rant and rave at the OWSers. I literally thought, "man, that guy's gonna bust a vein".
I'm not happy it happened. But Breitbart chose to live in that atmosphere of constant conflict, constant antagonism and he actively sought it out, I think for the notoriety and the money, more than that he actually had true convictions.
But even if he did have true convictions, that is little comfort to his wife and children right now.
In any case, I certainly send my condolences to his family, and wish for the healing to begin.
Oh, that's our scara for ya, weighing in on a loser's death to stay relevant. Only she is dumb enough to consider this man a friend. No Shame, no self-awareness, no brain.
ReplyDeletePOlitico says the movie game change is in many way sympathetic to Palin - so will they say that those parts are true but the rest is trash?
ReplyDeleteI read the Politico article. They didn’t say the movie was in many ways to sympathetic to Palin. They said, that there are parts in the movie that show Palin as being a “loving” mother, and wife, and talking “folksy,” and shit. But, they said there are many “cringe-worthy” parts that Palin, and her bots will not like. Other parts Politico said the bots, (and Palin) will like, are the parts when Palin starts acting like a diva, and “going rogue,” and not listening to anybody. (Think about the scene from the movie, when Steve Schmidt tells Palin, ”It’s not about you, it about the country.”) Basically, the kinds stuff that endears her to her bots, but makes her unloved by everybody else. So all in all, giving a closer look at the Politico article, it appears most of the movie is not very flattering to Palin.
DeleteOne less GOP voter .. it is a good day.
ReplyDeleteI can't say this is the way I'd like to change a GOP voter; I'd much rather convert than "eliminate."
DeleteThis is the kind of comment that we get all riled about when it's said of the left. As someone said earlier, I cant (or won't) be glad he's gone, but I won't shed a tear, either. That comment, I can agree with.
Only reason the comments are kind on HuffPo is that they are screening the true comments out.
ReplyDeleteO/T:
ReplyDeleteHey Gryh:
Have you checked out Dave Barry's book "Lunatics"?
It has a great scene at the GOP convention where one of the main characters (Perckerman) urinates off the podium directly onto Sarah Palin. In front of the crowd, TV cameras, & everybody.
This character later gets the nomination by the Democratic Party.
Very funny. It's worth reading just for that scene.
http://www.amazon.com/Lunatics-Dave-Barry/dp/0399158693
I often wished Breitbart would drop dead after one of his rants or dirty tricks.
ReplyDeleteI got my wish. His type of thinking would have destroyed me and many others. What he did to Shirley Sherrod was horrible. And he never apologized for anything he did and he harmed many people.
The only ones I feel sorry for are his kids--in many ways.

ReplyDelete5.0 out of 5 stars Todd Palin Exposed, February 29, 2012
By Allison -
This review is from: Boys Will Be Boys:
Media, Morality, and the Coverup of the Todd Palin Shailey Tripp Sex Scandal (Volume 1) (Paperback)
In "Boys Will Be Boys" Shailey Tripp proves, with copies of documents and lists of names, that her arrest for prostitution and her introduction to that business had roots in the heart of a famous celebrity "family man." One day after standing next to Sarah Palin as she was sworn in as Alaska's first female governor, this "First Dude" was flirtatiously emailing with a young single mom, Shailey Tripp, and saying "You light up my life." What transpired in the weeks, months and years (2006-2010) that followed did not light up her life in return. Guided by a powerful man into the darkness of selling sex, Ms. Tripp has set herself free and is telling her story. The truth will continue to set her free, and she honestly spills the agonizing, humiliating, and depressing details of life as Todd Palin's commodity. Interstate sex trafficking is no joke. The names she names and emails she released prove this woman means business. In the current political climate of taking away women's rights, Ms. Tripp should become an icon for having the courage to stand up and say "I'm not going to let men define who and what I am and what I do." Once you read it, pass it on. This book belongs in libraries, homeless shelters, and women's clinics where it can speak to those who find themselves enslaved by any unhealthy behaviors, limited by losses or disabilities, or injured by the cruelty of others, as the author once was.
Ordered my copy from Amazon and can't wait to read it, and then pass it on. I'm trying to decide where to leave it in order to get most impact from one copy after I'm finished reading it.
DeleteMaybe Sarah can join her dear lost friend.....
ReplyDeleteI'm so embarrassed that came out of my mouth I better go now.
First off I was shocked that he had 4 kids, I was sure he was gay.! Has anyone ever seen his wife? With the drinking problems, plus mental problems this man had, maybe it is a blessing in disguise that she is free of him. He was a vile, low class person so I am not surprised Palin mourns him.
ReplyDeleteBreitbart was a walking pile of putrescent excrement. That Palin would praise that septic pustule on our nation's anus speaks volumes about her own lack of character.
ReplyDeletePalin is merely stupid and annoying, but Breitbart truly had a negative effect on our country. Nearly instantaneously at the moment of Breitbart's passing, the well of our national discourse became slightly less foul and offensive.
Breitbart's death is the greatest thing he has ever done for our country. Well played sir, well played.
R.I.H.* Breitbart

Looking at the picture Gryphen posted of Sarah with Andrew Breitbart, I can assume Sarah was not that fond of Drew seeing that she did not wear her Belmont titties in his honor.

"The names she names and emails she released prove this woman means business."

Deletei hope the skank fetid bitch $carah chokes on her snot
Palin actually sent condolences to all the families of the victims, assuming too soon that Gabby Giffords died with the 6 others. She never withdrew that condolence to Mark Kelly and Giffords' stepdaughters or the rest of her family.
DeleteAnd Palin never sent best wishes or encouragement as Giffords entered rehab after recovering from surgery. She just made that whining 'pity ME' blood libel video.

Palin definitely didn't write that!
ReplyDeleteWe can wait for the autopsy and toxicology report before summing up the end of Andrew Breitbart.
ReplyDeleteBut his use of cocaine and liquor should be a warning sign to Mama Warrior, who could succumb to the abuse she's given her body just as easily as he did.
just a game people.
ReplyDeleteits all about ambition and being on the inside.
breitbart understood that the MSM is right wing and he calculated how to make himself relevant.
always remember that ANY loon from the right will always get air time and get hype.
and because of fox news pushing their agenda quickly notoriety.
and thats how the game is played.
trash like the palin clan will always associate and praise his type because all grifters appreciate each other.
death is not something that makes me feel good
but i am not a hypocrite who pretends what you were alive suddenly becomes irrelevant once dead.
like palin who he often went out of his way to defend his entire act was built on the backs of those he harmed.
no one with integrity or empathy for their fellow man should feel sympathy at the death of such a person.
and certainly palin the opportunist who has never displayed any empathy or love for her own children hardly sounds authentic in her ghost written statement here.
JadeZ, I always enjoy your comments and the way you cut to the heart of a matter.
DeleteWow. It sounds just like the heart spoken sympathy Sarah poured out to Gabrielle Giffords, Christina Green and the other families - NOT!
ReplyDeleteYou are making a false equivalence.
DeleteGabby Giffords and the people were innocent victims of violence.
Andrew Breitbart did his level best to mock, alienate and insult people using any means available, including dishonest means in order to drive a particular narrative that was in many cases hurtful.
Duh, totally misread what you were saying - please disregard
DeleteHey!!! Who knew the rapture was today?
ReplyDeleteO/T This is how SarahPAC spends its money? Sarah must pretty worried to go to this extent in order to defend herself.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin video mocks “Game Change”
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0312/73511.html
It was all fine and dandy until she got more press coverage and people found out what a moron she really is. 304 Views on the YouTube does not speak very loudly regarding what kind of support she has now, that we all know she is a stupid fake.
Delete"me and bristol wanted to hang out with them"?
ReplyDeleteI don't have a degree from Wasilla High and never completed college but I would have written "Bristol and I"
Maybe Willow shouldn't get her GED, I mean "Degree" from Wasilla High School so early? Sarah should at least make Willow start her senior year in high school before quitting high school.

Oh okay good.
This is Willow. That stinks that eric and alex have to stay in anchorage, me and bristol
wanted to hang out with them. Bristol also has a powder puff game that would be fun to
watch. Is Heather coming up too? If so, we could have her over also.
See you tomorrow!

And why is Willow using her mother's "government" email? What a messed up family!
DeleteAren't these state emails???
DeleteLove how she pimps her movie in the the statement. It's always about ME, ME, ME & $$$$$$$. She can't even look past herself long enough to give condolences.
ReplyDeleteThere should be a warning label stateing that Republican Hate Bile can be hazardous to your health.
ReplyDeleteAgain I ask (part of my comment from the previous thread) how do we know his wife, children, brother, cousins, are really grieving deeply? Honestly, if you have a family member around you who is constantly negative, espousing hatred towards others, yelling (even if they only saw it on tape, but it probably happened in their presence too) - it brings you down! That is a person that is not good to be around. There may be some relief amongst even the family members. We don't even have any evidence he was an engaged, hands-on father and he may have been negative and punitive to those children. I say, all in all, just good riddance.
ReplyDeleteOne of my spouses was evil. Upon him being sentenced to 36 months, i wept like a baby in the court room...
Delete... tears of relief. Tears of joy. The tears were for the 1000 pounds of oppression and physical torture lifted off my weakening frame.
I knew everyone thought i was in the depths of despair, and i let 'em think that very thing. I didn't care. I would be freed.
If Mrs. Breitbart feels the same secret elation, we can understand why that would be.
Alaska how come I can't find one email regarding Alaska Film Tax Credit by Sarah Palin?
ReplyDeleteWere those emails redacted by Parnell because it would be too embarrassing for Sarah Palin and Alaska if they were revealed?
Boy, Palin never can do or say anything without inserting herself. She is shameless.
ReplyDeleteThe only time I paid any attention to Breitbart was when he was on TYT. That interview was long and I thought he was so angry, he was a heart attack waiting to happen. I also thought he was mentally unstable just like Palin. Two peas in a pod.
Alicat
Again, I can't say what I am really feeling about the death of Andrew Breitbart, because it would be innappropriate and even I would think I was being cruel and vindictive. He was no hero, that's for sure - and in the privacy of my own mind and home - I will try to repress the real feelings I had about this man - and all the others just like him (and Sarah Palin). I don't wish death on anyone, despite the times I prayed to GOD, that somehow, some way he and all of his partners in hate would just disappear!
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like God didn't like the Hitlercreep that he promoted and the damage he did to America. Palin needs to sit up and take notice. So, I will try to be the good girl and NOT put into words what I really feel, and try to sort out how I could be having such churlish thoughts about his passing!
IMO - a full battery of toxicological tests needs to be done to determine why such a young man just 43 years old (but looked closer to 60) would die in the prime of his life, If you look at his out-of-control ranting and raving anger - I'd guess chronic drug and alcohol abuse. That vid that caught Breitbart screaming and threatening OWS occupiers certainly fits the profile of someone jacked up on drugs and alcohol.
I do feel sorry for his family - surely they loved him, but if he was that out-of-control in public - how bad was he in the privacy of his home with his family? I lived with an addict who absolutely was out of his mind by the time I managed to extricate myself from that situation! The real person underneath that insanity and out of control substance abuse was a loving person when he was sober/drug free, and to this day, even though I had to protect myself - I feel a great deal of sorrow that the kind, loving person I knew to be there was buried beneath the addiction.
Each of us makes a choice in how we want our lives to be - but some are never able to stay the course, despite many attempts. And those people die youg, and leave a wake of destruction behind them! That is what is truly sad.
I'm appalled at the "libs" who would take BrietFART to task in life and cave in his death?
DeleteHe was a POS.
He was vile. He will go to hell that he believes in.

In Memorium???? WTF?
I like AKWTF who says it rightly:

"Great day in American history – Andrew Breitbart dead as a doornail"
I won't lie, it was a great day to wake up to this.
Thanks AKWTF.
I am thinking that Sarah leads a very sheltered existence, where stimuli about the world, and particularly about her, is very, very controlled. She basically told us this herself - when Katie Couric asked her what newspapers she reads she answered “Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years,” Note: *THAT HAVE BEEN PUT IN FRONT OF ME*
ReplyDeleteI think that very few people actually have access to her and those that do continually tell her how wonderful she is. Only positive news stories and positive comments are brought to her attention. Another example is her conclusion to the Troopergate ethics report where she stated that she had been cleared of any wrong doing when it was very clear to everyone else that that is NOT what the report said.
We have seen what happens when she occasionally gets a glimpse of what is really going on - like when she is asked about the Game Change trailer.
No, I think Sarah is on a very short leash. Nobody can be THAT delusional!
Andrew Breitbart defended the defenseless? Yeah, and your pal Jeremy Morlock was a goodwill emmbassador, right?
ReplyDeleteDeath clings to Fascist Spice like cheap perfume.

ReplyDeleteMaybe Sarah can join her dear lost friend.....
I'm so embarrassed that came out of my mouth I better go now.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Todd that wasn't right of you. Understandable but not right.
Mocking Game Change is just about as bad as her blood libel video. The woman NEVER EVER LEARNS! She really is retarded, isn't she? i didn't believe the 83 IQ before, but I do now
ReplyDeleteHatred destroys the inside and eventually kills. Judging from her increasingly haggard appearance, Sarah should keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteThere could be no more fitting tribute to a bottomfeeder like Breitbart than exploiting his death as an opportunity to plug your miserable movie.
ReplyDeleteStay classy, $arah.
This is the most beautiful comment I have read all day!
DeleteLet's hope Breibart's death serves as a lesson to the hateful, ugly, racist & vile people on the right & that includes you Sarah Palin. God don't like ugly & your hatred & ugliness will come back tenfold.
ReplyDeleteWonder if Sara is going to read Shailey's book? Wonder if the MSM dares to pick up the story and do a review that's measured and honest? From the one review I've read so far it sounds like she names names and one of them is Todd.

Sarah Palin: "Andrew was a warrior who stood on the side of what was right. He defended what was right. He defended the defenseless."
ReplyDeleteCorrection: He was on the side of might. He defended the indefensible. I can see how that would look to an ethically challenged grifter, thought.
At any rate, after a week, if that, history will forget he ever existed. At the end of the day, he did nothing that resulted in a meaningful change in this country, by either his opponents' or his supporters' standards.

Hey look, I'm never gonna be one to dance on someone's grave. So all I'm gonna say is my sincere condolences to Andrew's wife and kids in this difficult time for them. I hope and pray they can find healing and peace in the days ahead.
ReplyDeleteAs for Sarah? Pfftt. Silly bitch just wants to photo bomb and hijack all the publicity right now on Breibart with that Facebook post. As if anyone would believe she gives a flying rats ass about anyone other than herself. OK fine, her Facebook sycophants would believe that - but they also would donate to her train wreck of a political "career". Go figure.
He defended the indefensible.
ReplyDeleteThere, fixed that for her.
Shirley Sherrod's suit against Andrew Breitbart likely to continue

"after the premier of “The Undefeated.” "
ReplyDeleteOk, I thought Sarah Palin would never manage to be so insulting about a death as when she brought her flip-flop wearing t-shirted daughter to Wally Hickel's very formal funeral. But shilling for your film in what is supposed to be a "fond memory" thing, is so low-class it is laughable.
Sarah Palin is mentally unstable. Her family and advisers need to do an intervention.
Perhaps Breitbart was a victim of "imprecatory prayer" gone wrong.
ReplyDeletePalin has taken horrible care of herself - has aged terribly during the few past years she has been in the national scene - has put herself under stress and creates her own stress for her family and others - has been said to take drugs (like her kids - fine example she ISN'T!)- can't cook from all we've read - eats horribly (fast foods) - has one black heart - lies, cheats, steals (all proven!) and on and on.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet she too will end up having a short life. Can you image what will be written of her when she has passed?
Strongly suspect she will NOT be celebrated except perhaps by some on the very extreme right. I doubt there will be much respect shown her otherwise. I know there will be very few 'atta girls' in Alaska or Arizona! She has brought nothing but shame to both states and will go down in history as Alaska's 'worst' governor. What a legacy!
Wow...are her anointed conservatives dying now? And I thought all she could do was mess up an athlete's game and cause Newt to trail in every primary! And Santorum is lose to Romeny! Better get the witch doctor back.
ReplyDeleteI read that his wife's father is Orson Bean. Orson was blacklisted in Hollywood because he was a communist. He even talked about his 4 children as "little communists".
ReplyDeleteHow does that equate with the present GOP party and the way they delight on calling Obama etc "Communists"?
I also read that their kids are 13 to 4 years old. Hopefully Susannah will be better off without Andrew's influence.
He was a piece of shit. His family is better without him.
ReplyDeleteA-MEN!!!
DeleteYou know what, I had a racist, hateful dad...I wish my mom would have moved out of state so I never had to see him...
Now she has no friends.
ReplyDeleteWell there is ummmm
DeleteWhat about ummmmm
Oh and ummmmm
Well shit! That woman got no mo friends!
hahahaha
DeleteI can't believe Breitbart was only two years younger than me. I turn 45 tomorrow, and Breitbart looks old enough to be my father.
ReplyDeleteLet this be a lesson, Sarah. Being filled with hatred and bigotry ages you and makes you ugly. And we all know your looks are the only thing you got going for you.
Oh well, I just outed myself at the pee pond... They started on bitherism and birth control and I lost it. (Hmmm... birtherism and birth control. I sense a theme here....)
ReplyDeleteThis calls for a list. Andrew Breitbart will missed as much as:
ReplyDelete1. A case of crabs
2. A herpes outbreak
3. A rectal itch
4. A daily prostate exam
5. Lemon juice on a sunburn
6. A case of the clap (see crabs and herpes)
7. Explosive diarrhea
8. Ben Gay on my balls

Would you dance on Sarah's plot?
Or at least pee on Sarah's grave?
Any truth to the rumor that Breitbart's family has been trolling leftwing sites today?
ReplyDeleteI think moderators are deleting everything that is .... uh...critical, which makes it look like there's this outpouring of support for him...when there isn't...
DeleteI agree with your comment 100% Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteHere's a little post about MY feelings about Breitbart that I posted to HufPo, which, I'm sure, will get deleted, but...if you could please humor me...I need to spew. So...here's my post:
ReplyDeleteI understand that this post has no chance in hell in getting approved, and I know people are going to disparage what I’m saying, and I get that, and I expect it. but....seriously? the and praise for this man makes. me. sick. It's not his politics that disgust me -- I would never say this about, say, William F. Buckley or George Will—they disagree with me, but they have class. Breitbart…well, he was a vile, disgusting pig. He made his living promoting the idea that YOU. CANNOT. TRUST. BARACK OBAMA. which is why people on rightwing website are talking about "assassination”...his grand contribution to society -- which you're all praising so much -- was to promote HATE towards the president and his associates, and you're all talking about his "dedication"? Wow. A dedicated hate monger. Good for him. Meanwhile, the sad thing is that the guy probably did have some points about big government and he was probably intelligent enough to present them in a reasonable way -- but there's no money in being reasonable, not when you're with the GOP...so he spewed his evil and he cashed his checks and lived the cush life in Brentwood -- while making DAMN sure working mothers everywhere had to struggle.
The best thing about Andrew Breitbart is that he exposed the truth about progressives – we don’t have the balls to stand up for truth when it’s uncomfortable and and the truth, today, is that Andrew Breitbart was a P I G.
Oh...and I'm going to add one more thing: Don't you DARE feel sorry for his wife...she was an adult...she made her choice to stay with the hateful mediawhore...And as for his kids -- well, it's hard to grow up with a daddy, but...it's awful to grow up with someone constantly trying to infect you with their racist hate...
Awesome RANT!
DeleteI'm sick of people suddenly acting like he's a saint.
The world is a better place today without him!
Thanks! I'm pretty sure it didn't get through on HuffPo...I think he was friends with Arianna..he used to work there...
DeleteI tried to get many such posts on HP today, but they are scrubbing anything other than cartoonish portraits of Breitbart that make him sound like some sainted combination of Jesus Christ, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Schweitzer, Winston Churchill, and Edward R. Murrow.
DeleteThe paeans of hyperbolic, over-the-top fictional bullshit are laughable. He was a detestable, repugnant little turd.
I did end up getting one that was fairly critical of Breitbart, but I had to do it O/T on another thread and by carefully avoiding any words that would alert the moderators.
Since HP wouldn't let me post my best stuff, I'll share my favorite one here:
"Given all of the gushing hymns of praise on this thread extolling the alleged virtues of Andrew Breitbart, one might be excused for making the mistake of thinking that he was actually human."
May he rot in hell.
Oh -- and, a little question -- who the hell WALKS in LA? And who the hell "goes for a walk" at midnight? Not to fan the flames of the nut ball conspiracy theorists, but...something's not right here...
ReplyDeletePeople walk in LA. I walk in LA. But I agree...at midnight? He didn't exactly look like a paragon of fitness neither. I also agree with the folks who have noted how quick the nutcase fringe has been to say "natural causes!" 43 might be a viable diable age, but it sure will be interesting to see the tox screen. Maybe we can start a pool on the blood-alcohol level. I'll start the bidding at 0.20
DeleteI'm a nut...I googled to see if there were any gay cruising spots in Brentwood...Because I also find it weird that someone happened to witness him collapse after midnight...maybe, it was...a hookup?
DeleteOf course, on the other hand...I don't know...he supposedly had heart problems. Maybe he was trying to get himself healthy and started to walk and stuff...and...due to his schedule, he couldn't do it earlier than midnight???? Still...it's weird...and one of the last things he did was tweet someone that he was a nitwit, and if he had time to do that, why wouldn't he have time to exercise before midnight? Or...maybe he wasn't feeling good because he was...having a heart attack but he didn't know it and he thought this would make it feel better???? Either way...it's weird and I have a feeling there's waaaaaay more to this story...
In Brentwood, where he lived, it's very safe to walk, and many people jog and exercise on the streets. I have no idea why he'd be walking at midnight. Maybe walking a dog? But Brentwood is an area where you see people walking.
DeleteThe newspaper says Westwood, not Brentwood. I'm sure there are pedestrians out at midnight in the college hang-out areas but I'm guessing those aren't the parts of town Brietbart chose to frequent. Most benign reason I can think of for him walking at midnight is having been drinking at a bar or restaurant, and at least having the sense not to drive home. My vote in the BAC pool remains at 0.2 (assuming nothing else major in the tox screen)
DeleteYes, what a shame Davy Jones died, I mean with all that hindsight about the Palin Monkees coming and all... he and his tamberine could see well into the future. RIP Davy.
ReplyDeleteHe defended the defenseless.
ReplyDeleteDid he now? By his own admission, he publicly cursed a group of school children marching in a demonstration, because he wrongly assumed that their cause was something he disagreed with.
He wrote in a self-depreciatingly way about his mistake, but the fact remains - he was a man who was willing to curse schoolchildren, just because he assumed that they didn't share his tribal political biases.
He was a toxic person.
this piece of shit bred 4 children? poor things. guess he and his thing never heard of birth control but then again what can you expect from trash. glad the sperm will reproduce no more, he's cursed this planet enough with what he's left behind already. good riddance!
ReplyDeleteanother piece of shit dies and the world is better off, end of story. what's next.
ReplyDeleteOf course, Borderline Barbie can't help herself. Her BFF Warrior isn't even buried yet, the ink on his long form death certificate is still wet, and she uses his corpse to promote her movie, "The Undeficated".
ReplyDeleteBut of course, we already knew that. She's sooooooo predictable!
Wonder if she'll "Reteet" with the belmont boobs for his service, cause everyone's going to watch the HBO film and be reminded of how inept and dumb she is.
But we already know that!
Shailey's book, the email dump, and Game Change She's going into her manic phase Watch out Fridge!
So, just to summarize:
ReplyDeleteGabby Giffords is shot, a young girl and others killed and Palin's response is: "how dare you point out that I put crosshairs on that woman"
But a dirtbag tape-editing slandermonger has a heart attack and it's all "God and sorrow".
WTF is wrong with that stupid bitch? Maybe someone can give her another "reality" show so she can buy a soul? Or at least put a down payment on a conscience...
