I don't believe it can be stated any more plainly than this.

I love it, but the bigots who are anti-gay are the same folks trying to take the vote away from minorities again, AND take rights away from women, so this will mean nothing to them. America is going backwards, and President Obama's slogan is perfect...we either move FORWARD, or America is lost.

No, the tide isn't turning and this is hurting Obama's chances. Give it a fucking rest.

Yes, it IS changing! President Obama can easily speak openly and honestly while gaining momentum. He opened the nation to speak freely and defend their liberties.

I find it ironic that NOW the GOP wants to talk about jobs, and only jobs.

"...your bullshit will die with you."

Hear, hear! You know, I truly believe that this is exactly why the right wing has become so rabid: It knows that this election is the beginning of the end for them. Had they played more to the the middle, they might have survived.

I'd like to say that they are going the proverbial "way of the dinosaur," but I doubt that any of them would know what I was talking about given that they, you know, don't believe in any of that socialist, evolution witchcraft.

I don't oppose gay marriage and if I did it surely wouldn't be because of some stupid religion. I oppose you making it 'in our faces' all the time. 3 comments isn't a lot jesse. Ya think that your audience maybe doesn't want to hear about the queer all the time? hmmmmm? And it's just for your dotter anyway isn't it?

  8. Recalls the words of William Blake:

    "Children of the future age,
    Reading this indignant page,
Know that in a former time
Love, sweet love, was thought a crime."

We need to give it more time, but the President's personal statement about marriage equality, framed with his beliefs and personal observations was what opened the door for others to re-evaluate and reflect on their views, beliefs, and stereotypes.
