But don't think this is getting to Bristol because she TOTALLY DOESN'T CARE THAT LEVI IS HAVING ANOTHER BABY! That is why she has been selling off her real estate, telling Sunny not to trust Levi, and posting pics of Tripp on Facebook to rub their face in the fact that Levi can't see him. So there!
And as a further demonstration of her mental health, Bristol has recently decided that perhaps being a Palin is not enough so now she has declared herself a child of God:

It is just so fortunate that Bristol has her own special ghostwriter on retainer to write down what she believes for her. Actually I am not at all sure that Bristol is even aware that this is what she believes. (Maybe somebody should check with her?)
I hate to rain on anybody's parade, but from everything I have heard about Bristol's past she is just about as much of a Christian as I am. In other words not even a little bit!
Though to be fair she may have suddenly had an epiphany and decided to invite the Lord Jesus Christ into her life. Or else she has been convinced that saying that she is a Christian is a quick way to gain the trust of the faithful and better swindle them out of their hard earned money. ("Buy my book! Invite me to give another speech about abstinence! You can trust me, I'm a Christian!")
Or am I being cynical again?

No I think you are being skeptical of anything a Palin says, and rightly so. A 'child of God' does not sleep around and get drunk. A 'child of God' does not get pregnant at 15, 16, 17, 20...whatever and however. A 'child of God' does not give America the finger on TV while cussing out 'haters.' A 'child of God' attends church, reads the Bible, and shows through their actions that they follow Christ. I don't think Bristol has found God...she has just found another excuse fo her behavior, and another dog whistle for the 'bots.

Then why on earth would Bristol be praying that Levi wasn't Tripp's father? That to me sounds like there were other possible fathers for Tripp. That's kind of how my sister was when she got pregnant at 18 and didn't know if it was one of two guys. Based on how her baby looked we all thought it was one guy, but it really turned out to be the other guy's, the one she prayed it wouldn't be.

DeleteI was just watching NBC's Nightly News. The final story is about teen moms who do go to college and get a degree, with the support of a special program,. Less than 2% of single teen parents go on to college. There's a message, there, for Bristol.
ReplyDeleteI think that there are things going on between Bristol and Sarah that we don't know about. Bristol announced her surprise engagement to Levi on the cover on In Touch Magazine. Then, Sarah quickly broke it up and got Bristol her DWTS gig. Sarah even made sure that her friends voted Bristol into an undeserved third place finish.
Then, Bristol and the Massey Brothers cooked up the lame idea of a reality show. We'll all live together and work for an unknown charity, what a good idea. The house in Arizona may have been the cheap set for filming much of that show. Sarah surely didn't like the idea-- bought her own place in Scottsdale to keep an eye on Bristol-- nothing seemed to go right with that plan. Bristol didn't test well in front of audiences.
Then, Bristol announced publicly that she was giving up the glamor of Hollywood and moving back to Wasilla. Oh, no, surprise again, Bristol wanted to launch another reality show starring her and Tripp, fixing up a cheap house next door, maybe tossing in Willow goes to beauty school as another plot. I can't imagine why Lifetime didn't scoop that show up. Oh yes, Bristol doesn't test well, and there's not much of a plot there.
Another try was "Trial Marriage," Bristol, Gino and Tripp would live together in front of TV cameras and it is going to start in June on Lifetime. Where are the promotional advertisements? Where is the advertising? What day in June shall we be setting our TiVo's?? How strange that all of a sudden, a chaste, Christian daughter of God moved into her own apartment in the Palin compound, with no overnights from Gino. That does not sound like trial marriage material. That sounds like a re-virgining of a teen mother in order to sell her books to the Christian market. Luckily, she has a Christian ghost writer and a blog posted on a Christian website.
Bristol has been handed life, opportunity and money on a silver platter. Who bought that expensive condo for Bristol when Tripp was born? Why put her on DWTS and dream of reality shows when Bristol really doesn't have the personality nor the talent. We know that she didn't write her book, and she doesn't write her Facebook posts. We know what Bristol sounds like when she calls out some guy in a bar, or wrote My Space posts: I'm such a slut, I shot a tree, My mom thinks I'm pregnant, My mom took away my phone.

ReplyDeleteI am going to donate $50 to my local special Olympics chapter (Houston) in honor of Tripp Johnston and Breeze Johnston as a congratulations to Levi and Sunny.
I am going to donate the other $50 to the Anchorage chapter in honor of Trig Palin and Jesse Griffin. And when I get my little certificate in the mail and Gryphen and Trig's names are side by side in pretty script- I will enjoy picturing SOMEONE's reaction to it!
I usually get a certificate/thank you card within a week or two after donating somewhere, so as soon as I get those I will take a picture with my phone and post them here. I encourage everyone who is able to donate to a local or the national chapter of special Olympics in Trig's name/honor. And NOT just because it will burn Sarah's bony butt. Although that is a plus. No- special Olympics is a great organization and when I volunteered with them for the first time (volleyball and softball) I was ashamed at my preconceived notions that they'd baby the athletes or not really enforce the rules. I wasn't allowed to cheer for or yell instruction to any athlete in case it would distract them. But at the medal ceremonies, there is a LOT of cheering! I only volunteer once a year but I am going to try and remember to donate more and remind others to share their time as well.

When Sunny was asked the baby's name (heaven help the poor kid), it seemed like she made a point of saying "Johnston." On the heels of the Bristol discussion, I thought (although I could be reading too much into it) that this was a pointed response to all Bristol's attempts to re-brand Tripp as a Palin (wanting to change his name, etc). It seemed like a subtle way for Sunny to show that Levi is damn sure gonna be this kid's daddy, not just a possible sperm donor.
Also, she seems very sweet, but when she talked about Bristol, some steel showed through. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being the REAL "Mama Grizzly" of the lot of 'em. You seem to forget the Palin kids were involved in breaking and entering, having babies before getting married or graduating from high school, no college education, destroying public property - school buses, getting kicked out of school along with the other things they have done. These delinquents did all that with both parents at home. One parent is reported to be a sex addict and a pimp, the other is said to have one night stands in her sister's dorm room, violated laws that were ruled ethics violations. The house they live in is question regarding how they got it, legislation was passed before Palin quit halfway in her first term as governor and then she became a multi-millionaire from that same legislation. Palin received per-diem to live at home as governor, she con the tax payers to pay for trips for her family, passed legislation as mayor right before her house was built not requiring that records kept on how her house was built. Palin's house has similar materials like the ones used in the hockey rink. You know the rest of the story.
So how does Bristol having both parents at home makes her a better person than Levi? Bristol keeps her child away from his grandmother just because she wants to play mean girl to her baby's daddy and she has the nerve to say she is a Christian who believes in God. Bristol has a lot of growing up to do and she is over 20 with both parents at home. Not to mention the parents aren't faithful to each other.
Don't get me wrong - I love your blog. But Levi Johnston is an idiot and a loser. And every time you cover a story on him, it makes you look silly. Just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteSounds to me like Bristol's latest bid for a reality show isn't selling, so she's rebranding herself to appeal to a different market. There are several religious TV stations airing 24/7 on my cable lineup... If Kirk Cameron can get a regular (or semi-regular) gig, why not "Child of God" Palin?

ReplyDeleteLevi and Sunny do make a cute couple! He looks relaxed and comfortable in his own skin, and she's just stunningly beautiful. Levi made Bristol look "cute" but he always seemed uneasy around the Palin posse.

So Sunny and Bristol were gonna meet over dinner and talk nice-nice, but they had second thoughts. Smart girl, Sunny. Beefy's got a big apetite, and even if you went dutch, it would have cost a fortune!
It's a shame Beefy's so vindictive with Tripp, she'll be going nuts when Sunny's new baby girl pics get published! Duelling Fridge dents across the dead lake! What fun!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI doubt it but if it does happen, once in a blue moon, Bristol will probably have Sunny sign some type of confidentiality agreement as well as a statement saying that Tripp can't be within 5 miles of Levi, his grandmother Johnston or Auntie Mercedes.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought that since Bristol was a minor when she got pregnant and maybe the tent episode was set up or mentioned was because maybe Levi was not the father and an older boy was. Rather than have rape charges for an underage girl, it would be easier to pin it on Levi...Maybe in Levi's mind he knows he is not the father or doubts it as time goes on. Remember she said she hoped he was not the father. Did she ever explain this phrase to anyone or her parents or don't the Palins care. If I had said that, my parents would have demanded to know what I meant and asked me how many guys I had been with. I am beginning to think this family is an open family and anything goes.... It would be easier to blame Levi than screw up Sarah's vp run...
ReplyDeleteI too am wondering if Levi is not the father of Tripp. Could be Levi was in love with Bristol and wanted to be the father. Bristol did have a reputation back in the day of being an sexually active teen and who are we kidding, she still has that reputation today.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Bristol pray hoping that Levi was not Tripp's father? Why would she do that if Levi was her first and only sexual encounter. Bristol said that Levi took her virginity.
So if Levi is the only boy she had sex with and Bristol is praying Tripp is not his child, then is Bristol saying she gave birth to Jesus's brother? You know, immaculate conception in Wasilla?
