we can only be thankful that we are not looking at a photo of Newt and the plastic woman getting it on for the cameras.
So many bad visual images there, my head is twist off my body.

Oh Callista, the plastic woman...who could have their hair like that and thinks it looks good? Boggles the mind. The Gingrich's are such grifter's, I have always wondered why they don't advertise Nike on that swoop on the side of her head. Good grief.

It looks like Mitt and Ann never kissed before. Why are her hands so tight? Doesn't look like they are a lovey dovey pair at all. It is a sin in Morman culture to grab your wife in public and plant a good one on her. I don't see much affection in this couple, all show and smiles.

Something happened there, they have a slew of kids.
Though, I struggle to understand if marriage and sex is between a man and a woman, and one of the Romney kids just birthed a surrogate or invitro(I forget which) baby, how does that measure up? Sex between a woman and a baster should not be acceptable....in Republican world.

One of the many problems I have regarding Mitt Romney is that he is so socially awkward.

Their son Tagg just had twins through a "gestational surrogate". (They retrieve her egg, put it in a dish, then he hands his junk to the nurse and she takes it from there).

Look how Mitt is standing 2 feet from Ann, like he does not want to get too close to her.

  17. Very interesting... I have seen the Obamas pictured embracing and kissing many times, it seems obvious to me that they are in love with one another...

This is the first photo I've seen of the Romney's showing any kind of intimate personal contact... wow... looks very obligatory... very cool... they probably do have love for one another, but it doesn't show in this photo...

I have seen the Obama's express affection for each other and for people they meet day after day... The Romney's not so much.

A picture is worth a thousand words... the comparison sums up for me who I'd like to be the leader of my country... I am for people who love people.

I am for people who believe in equal rights, I am for people who believe in freedom for ALL, I am FOR President Obama because he IS FOR THE PEOPLE.

2:47 Don't think you know what you are talking about!!

I have MS - known as primary progressive w/o a known treatment as yet! I have difficulty walking, balance issues and exhaust easily.

Mitt IS supporting his wife with her disease FINANCIALLY! I'm sure she is receiving the best treatment out there for it, has hired help that assists her with house duties, dressing, etc. She had help when she raised all of her sons. It's known she didn't do it all on her own as is indicated by her! I would love to have had, or had, some of the assistance she has experienced due to be married to a multi billionaire!

So, bottom line 2:47. Your statement - 'doesn't support her in any way!' is rather idiotic!

I sense a lot of repressed anger in Ann's body language.

Let me ask other women this simple question: when you are angry, do you enjoy being touched or touching the person who has upset you? (I mean in a loving touch way, not a slapping manner.)

I think Mitt senses her anger and is bracing himself or trying to distance himself.

Why is she the one who has to pull them together? Why pull anyway?

The Obamas always appear drawn to each other, as if their mutual touch is welcomed and appreciated. They telegraph a comfort for and love of one another.

Please, everyone, let's keep our loving couple in the White House. They are true role models for all couples.

I, too, have seen a lot of repressed anger in Ann Romney's body language, for quite a long time. And I have heard it in her words and tone of voice as well. When off-guard, she is truly lacking in compassion and warmth, and smack-dab full of entitlement. These things often go together with what is called narcissistic rage (a frustrated sense of entitlement: why can't I be queen/king ALREADY????? Why is this 'election' even NECESSARY???????).

Narcissists always have a sense of entitlement, lack psychological awareness, can not achieve deeply satisfying relationships, are hypersensitive to any insult or slight (cue her reaction to Hilary Rosen), feel no guilt (but may have repressed shame, instead – and deal with that shame by constantly dumping shame onto others – by vilifying them!!), have prideful body language, detest those who do not admire them, use other people without even considering the cost of doing so (read about Bain's history and how they destroyed countless lives with their policies, and how the Romneys 'paid' their household help), brag about and exaggerate their achievements ("we/my friends own . . . . "), are unable to see the world from others' points of view, do not show remorse or gratitude, etc. Easy to spot when you see the list.

The Obamas are genuinely in love- no question about it. The Romneys appear to have a conditional relationship- you help me, I help you. As for passion- NADA. Mitt needs Ann badly to humanize him (if that is possible) and she knows she holds the key. So she'll strut around like the perfect wife and mother, maker of the world's greatest pancakes, wearer of hideous $990 silk shirts, denier of her soulless husband's surrender to the right wing woman haters... and act as though she is what all women should aspire to be. I think not. Michelle is a real person who created a life for herself and was not merely handed a title. Neither Mitt nor Ann believe in anything other than family (a good thing), money... and lots of it and the Mormon Church. They are a dangerous couple.

I ADORE the Obamas, and I think they are an incredible example of strength and love. It's easy to forget how much Michelle was on her own while Barack was paving this career. He was in Washington and she was basically a single mother. It could not have been easy.

But, marriages are as different as the people in them.

I do NOT like the Romneys for many, many reasons that are easy to list,

but taking one photo of them and projecting all these relationship conclusions, seems a bit much.
