Romney gets the Pants-on-Fire Award, hands down, in every category.
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know, he'll be taking credit for having created the earth – and the white race in particular. LOL, that man has a problem not only with facts, but with REALITY!!!! And he is held out to be the most mature of all the republican candidates, LOL.
He's like the little boy yelling out in the school yard: "MY daddy invented the first space rocket, and then that very same afternoon he went out and ran the Boston Marathon – in one hour", etc. Seriously, this man has problems. And the way he 'pretends' to hug and kiss his wife, I doubt that they are only problems in the factual realm.
I know that politicians, of necessity, must have very thick skins. But I've often thought that President Obama -- who learned very early on to stand strong against bigotry and prejudice because of his heritage -- is quite likely more able to handle the outrageous "slings and arrows" that have come his way. I cannot tell you how much I admire his grit and fortitude, not to mention all his other attributes. He stands so far above his Presidential opponent -- who wouldn't know the truth if it slapped him silly. I'm delighted to see that Obama's campaign is stepping up immediately to respond to the lies the GOP is spreading. Keep it up, and beat those bastards!

The significant number of PUBLIC SECTOR jobs at every level of government that have lost have seriously stunted the recovery. That's partly because in order to save other vital jobs and services and needs of the country, President Obama was forced to compromise with the ruinous minority Republican Senators and the Republicans in the House.
And, of course, federal money sent to GOP-run states to save public jobs usually was put into their general funds to balance their budget -- and the public jobs were lost anyway.
How could that be? President Obama brought back the era of big government with a vengeance! Oh...it was Romney who said that? Never mind.

ReplyDeleteMitt Romney is now, once again, taking credit for the auto industry bailout. Today in Michigan he claimed the bailout was his idea. Yes, he said let Detroit go bankrupt, and then after Obama saved the auto industry, Mitt tried to take credit for it and then he walked it back during the primaries and then he took credit for it and then he derided it again and now he’s back to taking credit for it. Flip flop flip flop flip flop flip flip…
The Obama campaign put out a quick video to remind voters of reality. I suppose you should share this with your friends and family who still lean stupid, lest our entire country be taken over by the starving Ryan budget and the real Hunger Games begin.

This fantasy that the auto bailout was Romney’s idea is beyond lunacy in light of the intense criticism he leveled at the President just a couple of months ago when he said “the president tells us that without his intervention things in Detroit would be worse. I believe that without his intervention things there would be better.” In 2008, Romney said, “IF General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye,” and in 2012 he argued that “Obama should have let the free market work and allowed GM and Chrysler to go through a managed bankruptcy” which is what he now claims the President did with the bailout that is not remotely what a managed bankruptcy entails. A managed bankruptcy is more akin to a Chapter 11 bankruptcy that involves reorganization of a debtor’s business affairs and assets but it does not include a bailout by the government that Romney assailed as “crony capitalism on a grand scale.”

What has Mitt Romney done since he finished his one term as governor of Massachusetts? He certainly has not learned much about the makeup of the world around us; he does not seem to have done any deep thinking about policy matters because he sure has not announced any plans for anything since he began running for president in 2006. He is, to my thinking, not very intelligent and certainly not intellectually curious. He seems to think that, because he is rich, he deserves to be president.

Not to defend that lying sack of shit, but seriously, he's right in a way when he says "Obama did everything wrong and everything is worse than when white people ran the country" because THAT'S what Rmoney supporters already believe and expect to hear.
