Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
Funny that. The Evolve Fish site actually has a cute little insurance policy on the car ornaments! Basically for $5, when a vicious little 'Christian' breaks your dinosaur or other EvolveFish ornament, you wrap up the remains (or write down how it went missing) and you'll get another. Isnt that a clever n cute idea?
Evidently from this policy; EvolveFish get a lot of returned broken and snapped EvolveFishees!
I spent some time on there looking at their products. It's humorous how many products are described as drawing dirty looks 'and if lucky a middle finger!'
I was here earlier and totally missed what exactly that image is. Kind of a response to "My 5th grader beat up your Honor Student." Or something. I am Christian, but I also know there were dinosaurs (and not when man was here, or the dinosaurs would have won...easily.) And maybe that would not have been a bad thing fo Planet Earth, but for some reason God decided that man and woman would be more entertaining than a bunch of huge reptiles (and then He created a certain East Coast governor.) Shame on me...that wasn't nice.
Lucky you to move to public school. I got stuck for 12 years. And people wonder where I learned passive aggressive behavior! My fave send-Sister-into-a-fit moment was asking why we were supposed to be grateful that Christ willingly died for our sins, when his infallible Heavenly Father sent him to earth for precisely that reason? Predestination or free will, which is it?
Discussing the historicity of Jesus, I was told by Chatpilot of a couple of interesting books by Earl Doherty in Canada. Look at his http://www.jesuspuzzle.humanists.net/home.htm website for some additional information on this fascinating topic.
Gryphen, search "dinosaur eating Jesus fish"

ReplyDeleteI also love that brilliant image of Christ holding the swathed baby t rex - the image Wonkette uses a lot for their crazy xtian posts

someone else may have it but this was the top hit.
It’s fun to tweak their little noses. The problem is, those nice Christians might key your car.
ReplyDeleteAnd salt your yard so that nothing may ever bare fruit again.

Such Christian sentiment. Ahhh
My Darwin fish was ripped off my car when it was in a public parking lot.

ReplyDeleteI would buy a dino eating Sarah.
ReplyDeleteBut could he afford all the Tums he'd need afterwards! Probably have better luck eating blowfish.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh. Gryphen, I love it.
ReplyDeleteThe dino eating x-tian fish also reminds me of my childhood in the early 1960s.
Six year old me, I asked the nuns where the dinosaurs came into the Adam and Eve story.
The nuns were not amused.
I wasn't amused by their answers either. I got my parents to move me to public school. I was such a young heretic. Yay.
:)

DeleteIt's your choice
Deletewhether or not
