A sweet Presidential tweet.

The above was tweeted by @BarackObama a few hours ago.

One of the things I appreciate about this President is his obvious humanity. When I see pictures like this, I am reminded of what makes a person truly worthy of admiration.

Coming from Hawaii it's no surprise the President feels comfortable in scandals. He's one cool dude.

  2. That's MY President! Truly. I became a U.S. citizen two years ago -- after living as a "permanent resident alien" since age 5. I've always loved America, but it took a special person to get me to give up my long allegiance to England. President Obama is that person. Best. President. Ever. I'll be first in line to vote for him in November. This will be my first-ever Presidential vote! Take THAT, Teabaggers!

Congrats on becoming a citizen from someone who had a green card since age 2. It wasn't till I was in my early 20's when I became a citizen on the insistence of my employer. Being young I didn't think it was a priority but once I took the oath I became all emotional. The only thing I regretted was losing my baby picture on the green card. I looked like a little rolly-polly refugee girl.

I became a citizen in time to vote for President Obama in 2008 and I was totally thrilled! I take my voting responsibility seriously and make sure that all my kids vote also, as well as my husband. We do all our voting by mail (newest way in WA state) so this gives us time to really peruse all the information about the candidates.

I will be supporting MY president again this time around!

President Obama, how proud I am that you are our president, that you are "the grown-up in the room", that you are the voice of reason, care & sanity.

Your dignity, courage, bright smile, and natural, respectful connection with children, animals, your spouse & family make me wish that you could carry your term for an additional 12 more years.

But for now, I'll accept 4 MORE YEARS of President Obama.

I HATE political propaganda. MOST people have what he has, a nice, loving family. He has a job and "tweeting" pics to sway votes is pathetic.

In other news, I LOVE BILLCOSBY!!!!!!!!

He doesn't share, you'd say he was too good to share his life with us, what is he hiding?

Shut up. Sit down, and shut up.

He's not "tweeting pics to sway votes", he's tweeting photos because he knows there are millions of us out here who love him and love his family and he knows we love the photos.

    I agree.

Perhaps you will agree with me that the following is a great blog. I am posting the link to a specific post you may like, but the entire blog is satisfying for those of us who have come to believe we are lucky Obama is our President.

  7. I voted for Obama and will again, but it doesn't keep me from being profoundly disappointed that the compassioinate, caring Obama is at odds with the Obama who signed the NDAA allowing the disappearing of people "deemed" to be terrorists and the Obama who orders the killing, by drone strike, in a growing number of countries, of people who are "deemed" to be terrorists.

I am sure he is a very caring and loving man, but he is, nonetheless, a killer and a war criminal as surely as were Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

It makes me very sad and worried about our future as a nation. We are only first in the world in ignoble areas: murder rate, rate of incarceration, national debt, personal debt, military might, etc.

I believe russia has a higher murder rate actually....and do you think he wants to kill people with the drone strikes? I am pretty sure if he had other options he would take them..Its not like he is just going out and saying "oh lets kill these people today" he does it because he has to

Steve, you've got to be kidding?? Calling Obama a "killer", and a "war criminal"; what a joke! Every single president in our history is the "Commander in Chief", which means that they are all in the same position of making the big decisions regarding war. That's what being a leader means, making the big decisions. GET REAL!!!

      My dear Steve,

Perhaps you need a break from all the world's problems for a while and take a reality check. President Obama has made tremendously positive strides in world relations; however, that does not mean each and every nation in the world has suddenly stopped all the wars, killing, atrocities, hatefulness, and greediness. Wars exist in the world. Executive decisions are still required in that world.

When you say that President Obama is "a killer and a war criminal as surely as were Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld" there is a difference. That unholy trio lived for, lied about, were guilty of massive amounts of deliberate misinformation without any conscience whatsoever.

Surprise! Everything within our own country, is not perfect. OMG! That you call President Obama "ignoble" is an egregious error on your part.

If you would**Please provide a definitive agenda for President Obama to address each of your points that you deem to be Solely Under His Control: "murder rate, rate of incarceration, national debt, personal debt, military might, etc." as well as any etcera's.

In the meantime Steve, please take a much needed break for yourself and cleanse your mind, breathe, meditate, and re-energize your neural pathways. Namaste.

Chuckle chuckle, you see, the world is literally his oyster. He's an iconic representation of a father's love toward a special child sent from God and the world need more of em, all of em, any of 'em over the years. It's got to be all about job creation and the umbrella, not a scary thing, shoring up our economy and help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform there perhaps. It's so sorry a state of journalism that there is today that we'd like to help clean up the makin-crap-up-istan cause you know Track is out there fighting for our freedoms.
