You know the horse is beautiful too bad that stupid man keeps breaking in to lie during his performance.
Update: Apparently the Romney's are taking the Sarah Palin route and claiming to be victimized by this ad. Here is the response from DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse:
“Our use of the Romneys’ dressage horse was not meant to offend Mrs. Romney in any way, and we regret it if it did,” Mr. Woodhouse said. “We were simply making a point about Governor Romney’s failure to give straight answers on a variety of issues in this race. We have no plans to invoke the horse any further to avoid misinterpretation.”
It is beyond pathetic that MIttens is hiding behind his wife's illness in order to avoid scrutiny on his tax return question. Especially now that we learn he is so freaked out at the thought of having to release them that if he had known he would be expected to he never would have become a candidate for president.
How polls show this empty suit and President Obama in a dead heat is beyond me. There's obviously a lot of ignorant people out there.
ReplyDeleteYou just can't underestimate how damaging Faux Snooze has been to our democracy and our country. WAAH!! I want my country back! Bastards!
DeleteThe only hope I have in getting through all the lies and calumny heaped by the Ailes and Rove operations is to think the contrast demonstrated by an actual fraud will do; Romney is a tailor-made object lesson, enough to even make me wonder what is the deep game here after all?
DeleteI'll bet you $10,000 that I can dance as well as a gestating gal with God on her side that made it all the way to third place on Dancing With the Stars.
ReplyDeleteOT Three emmy nominations for Game Change. Julienne Moore and Woody Harrelson are nominated.

ReplyDeleteRomney: "I want you to give me your vote. Your vote will give me major control of the biggest economy in the world. Your vote will allow me to shape international policy. Your vote will allow me to declare war and decide where your kids in the military will fight.
ReplyDeleteI deserve your vote because I am a brilliant businessman...... What's that? You want to see my business records? You want to see my taxes. How dare someone like you ask someone like me for that information? You should give me all that power based on my word alone."
Yes, those would-be emperor's clothes, er, tax returns, are secured in some deep underground silo in Wyoming right next to the Chaney et al torture files.
DeleteRemember, all Norquist's renegade regressives need is a figurehead-president who has three marginally working digits (his words) to sign the bill presented to him at his desk.
The Grimm Brothers could not have come up with a scarier scenario for their tales.

Hey Gryphen, you might want to update this. The DNC has pulled the ad, with apologies, because the Romney team whined that it was "offensive", due to the fact that the horse is used in Ann Romney's MS therapy. The horse that gives them a $70,000 yearly tax write-off. The horse that's in the Olympics. Quite a stretch for victimhood, no?
ReplyDeletehttp://politicker.com/2012/07/dnc-apologizes-to-ann-romney-for-horsing-around/
How does anyone even know whose horse it is? Shame on DNC for caving in on this. I wish they would use some of the money I sent to buy a spine.
DeleteHow can the horse be providing therapy to her if it's not even in the same COUNTRY as she is?
DeleteExactly. Unless she is a world class equestrian, she doesn't get near that horse's back. No way.
DeleteYep, another scam by that friggin' couple.
DeleteSo completely agree with all of you above! One would think that a fortunate and wealthy person who benefited from therapy with horses would help others in need of same.
DeleteCertainly there are groups who teach mentally and physically disabled children to ride. Has Anne Romney ever helped fundraise, donated, lent her support in any way, even if only to gain a crass photo op?
If not, she is very much like Sarah Palin in demanding sympathy and a free pass without lifting a finger.

Ann Romney says it's Mitt's and her turn to be POTUS and FLOTUS. Sorry folks. If Ann says it then you don't need to show up to vote. And Ann told ABC this morning that she and Mitt have shown all the financial records that they are going to show. We don't need to see anymore tax records 'cause Ann Romney says so.
ReplyDeleteWould that be Marie AnntoinRomney?
DeleteI believe what she said was "we've given all YOU PEOPLE need to know". Get that? YOU PEOPLE, the one's we are trying to convince to trust us with your country don't get anymore info from us.
DeleteThis broad is one arrogant jerk and so is her husband. Every candidate for this PUBLIC office has to show their returns and the Romneys are no exception. Don't want to show your finance info to us, fine, then drop out of the race.
When you are touting your financial success as your number one qualification for this high office, we want to see just how you got to be so "successful"
I agree - the Romney are nothing more than pompous assholes. Down with them, I say, down with them!!!!
DeleteThey would be horrible representives of the United States of America!!!!
Cannot even imagine!!!

OT: Larry O'Donnell had a great last word last night on what the Democratic strategy should be from now until New Year's Eve: "Off the Cliff". Put those three words on buttons and bumper stickers and call your congressman and your senator and tell them to use "off the cliff" strategy. Get rid of Grover Norquist. I don't remember him being elected to anything and yet Republican law makers make pledges to him! Don't those Repubs read the constitution and know that they are NOT to make pledges to anyone but the constitution? Oh yea, that's right, they haven't read the constitution either. They just like to carry the little Constitution book around and act like they've read it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Ann Romney told ABC this morning: YOU PEOPLE have gotten everything you're going to get of Mitt's financial records. So, I guess WE PEOPLE just need to keep clamoring for more tax records. Man! That POS has some bad shit he's trying to hide. Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Swiss bank accounts, Ireland. Please get out and vote for Obama/Biden in November. WE CAN NOT SUSTAIN ANOTHER 4-YEAR REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION.
Yea - O'Donnell's idea was great - hope the Dems follow his suggestion. Outstanding one!!!!
DeletePut the horse on DWTS .. it is far better dancer than Bristol.
ReplyDeleteIn better shape too.
DeleteHere's a link from late yesterday afternoon.
ReplyDeletehttp://jezebel.com/5927157/willow-palin-is-a-total-bitch-and-rightfully-so
And the hits they just keep-a-comin'.
I too find it amazing these 2 guys are even in the polls, every economist states clearly if Obama's job plans or 2nd stimulus would kick ass on unemployment. Just giving money to the states would put thousands of teachers, fireman and police back to work. Congress is the root of all evil...and I am elated with the fight going on in VA to get rid of that scumbag Cantor. This horse bullshit is such a joke..what a ridiculous sport. You think of the dignity of those wonderful animals that have served mankind for eras and making them dance?? I can imagine what the cowboys of the west think of this...sport of kings. Rich, lazy, pompous assholes indulging themselves, I wonder what their training is like.
ReplyDeleteListening to Ann this morning on ABC bragging about charity....10% to the church, nothing else...just the church. When you read about Mormons...they are cutthroat businessman with the same practices of Romney. I would love to see an expose on the Mormons...Mitt's Mormans.
Sharon,
DeleteYour ignorance of dressage AND the life of cow horses is astounding.
Yeah Sharon! Don't you know horses love to dance in the wild! It's all natural! Just the other day I saw a wild horse prancing around all by itself!
DeleteCowboys call it reining instead of dressage. About the same thing though except for those sliding stops.
DeleteAnn must have no friggin clue that most people attending the Mormon church (give 10%) as do christians that are regular attendees of their specific churches (Catholics, Episco, Methodist, Lutherans, etc.)
DeleteShe has no friggin' clue about much from what I can see. Yes, she has MS and so do I - but, I don't have the financial backing to treat it the way she is being helped.
Be thankful, Ann, and shut your friggin mouth. "You people" took the cake. They'd be a horrible couple representing us in the White House.
I hope any horse MarieANNtoiRomney gets on dumps her on her ass, HARD.
ReplyDeleteHey Mr. Woodhouse AND Media - when are you going to DEMAND an apology and a retraction from Ann Romney when she, a few weeks ago, stated that Obama was trying to "kill Mitt".
ReplyDeleteWhy are you letting her get away with such hateful rhetoric? Oh that's right. Ann has MS so that absolves her of any responsibility for what she says.
Note: I am not unsympathic towards people who have MS. I AM unsympathic towards people who hide behind any of their illnesses and think that they can get away with spewing garbage (think Romneys) - but as soon as the truth is mentioned about them or their loved ones (again think Romneys), then they hide behind the illenss and demand an apology.
The Romneys can prance, dance, tip-toe, shuffle, and bluff all they want. They are NOT getting my precious vote.
I liked that Jezebel article on Willow. I have great confidence that she would be perfect to write the next "Mommy Dearest". One can only hope.
ReplyDeleteHow could he have overlooked the fact that presidents routinely release their financial information? I mean, the twelve-year standard was set by his own dad. Moreover, he's made his financial success the cornerstone of his argument for why he should be president. Did he not think that people would want to examine the "how" of that success, rather than simply accept the fact of it?
ReplyDeleteDidn't 150 Mormons just leave the church in a group - was in a park or something, and they did it together to be supportive of each other since the pressure to stay in the church is so great - forget where I read the article - but wonder if any of those 150 had assess to the "inside secrets" or at least some of them and would be willing to open up about the inner workings of the Mormon church (aka plot to rule America)
ReplyDeleteHey Ann rMONEY and Willard rMONEY. A shout out from all those little people who you rip off to support your scandalous lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteFuck you and the horses you rode into town on.
Doping the horse was outrageous, and yet you still use the same trainer?
Dressage is for fops and dandies, people like the Bourbons and Marie Antoinette. Neither one of you done an honest days work in your lives, without the backstop of family money you were both born into.
Now you say "you people" to those who you expect to vote for Willard. We the people say FUCK YOU you people!!
You must have taken campaign advice from Joe Miller and Sarah Palin to turn this into such a clusterfuck.
Maybe AnnDRomney could cut her meds in half for a month or so to get a feel for how people who don't have her means, or horse, live. Shame on her. She wants the job, but not the work.
ReplyDeleteWhen you take a $77,000, or whatever it was, tax deduction for that horse, it's no longer a therapy horse, it's part of a business. As such, it's fair game. Besides Ann Romney just went down in my estimation when she referred to the rest of us as "you people".
ReplyDeleteHere's an intersting story out of Utah: A tea party activist charged with multiple rapes is also pictured with Mitt!
ReplyDeleteI can see it now: 'There's Romney, paling around with rapists'..
http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/54519160-78/peterson-woman-allege-court.html.csp
Ann Romney, of now "you people" fame, is damned lucky she has a horse to ride to help her MS. I have MS and there is no way in hell I can afford doing so.
ReplyDeleteThe woman has no fucking clue how good she has it as to huge bucks being available to aid her in fighting the disease.
I so hope Romney is not elected in November. Cannot imagine having their self-rightous Mormon attitudes and secretive ways as to their finances looking us in the face on a daily basis. The couple makes me want to barf!!!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
Did you see the horse's ass in that video?
ReplyDeleteI do not get why the Democrats pulled this ad. So ann is upset? Big fuckin deal. I dont get how this helps her with her MS? Good lord these people are pathetic in every way.
