In April 2012 Copenhagen Phil (Sjællands Symfoniorkester) surprised the passengers in the Copenhagen Metro by playing Griegs Peer Gynt. The flash mob was created in collaboration with Radio Klassisk http://radioklassisk.dk/. All music was performed and recorded in the metro.
Much like the last one that I featured here (Which you all enjoyed so much), this one is also an advertisement of sorts. Except it is an advertisement for the Copenhagen Phil, which in my opinion makes it somewhat less manipulative, and more about the music.
Besides what a lovely way to start your Saturday, don't you agree?

On the YouTube site they explain that they did in fact record the music on the train, when its was stopped.
DeleteThey did not try to scam anybody, and they did play while passengers were on the train and it was moving, they simply wanted the most crisp performance to use for the video.
