Bristol Palin has recently come under fire after her three-year-old son, Tripp, allegedly used a gay slur on her Lifetime reality show, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp. Now, her mother is speaking out against the 'haters' on her behalf -- and using the opportunity to take a dig at Bristol's competition.
"Haters are going to hate," Sarah said during an NBC cocktail party last Tuesday. Of Bristol's show, Sarah states, "I think it’s clever, it’s absolutely real and I’m proud of the girls." Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp chronicles Bristol's move to Los Angeles with her son and sister, Willow, and her life as a single mother to her son. (I'm sorry has she even SEEN this show? The thing is almost completely fabricated and when it does show something real it reveals Bristol to be an absolutely terrible mother with virtually no parenting skills whatsoever. "Haters are going to hate," bullshit. What she means is that reasonable people are going to be horrified.)
"Her show today I think is very positive, it’s very realistic in terms of showing what single motherhood really is," Palin said. "It’s not like the Teen Mom — partyin’, woo-hoo! – fun, glamorizing single motherhood."' ("Woo-hoo?)
Ironically, the girls of Teen Mom are rumored to be making substantially less than Bristol, who commands a six-figure salary for letting Lifetime's camera crew into her life. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of differences between the two shows.
Oh yeah it doesn't "glamorize" single motherhood at all. I mean
MOST single moms get paid a six figure income to star in their own
reality shows and are able to fly back and forth across the country at will. Don't they?
And the ONLY reason this barely literate idiot is able to make that kind of money is because her mother is world famous for being the WORST VP pick in American history. (And apparently the chronic lack of ability is genetic.)
Still these reality shows have diminished any possibility of Palin ever becoming a serious threat to the future of this country to virtually nothing, so for THAT reason I have to admit I am glad that the Palins are so lacking in self awareness that they decided to put themselves on television for everybody to judge.
And judge we have.
P.S. By the way I may have some good news to report in the very near future about Levi so keep a happy thought.
