You know maybe Mitt Romney is on to something with this "retroactive" thing.

Yeah, that works.

    2. It really is scary to think that Sarah Palin was chosen over RMoney in 2008. Last night Steve Schmidt dodged a bullet saying, that during the VP vetting process, he did not see RMoney's tax returns. He named others on the vetting committee who did.

O/T: Primetime Emmy nominations to be announced on Thursday morning. Go Game Change!

Sully puts it on the line.

“The GOP’s current candidate is an obvious perjurer and thereby a felon. How long will it take before this sinks in?”

Erin Burnett on Romney’s tax returns: He appears ‘shady’ or ‘stupid’

Even CNN’s Erin Burnett, a former Goldman Sachs financial analyst, says it’s time for Mitt Romney to release his tax returns.

Burnett opened her Monday night show with a personal message to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

“It’s time, Mitt, time to put them on the table,” she said, dismissing Romney’s argument that both Sen. John Kerry’s (D-MA) wife and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) released few or no tax returns when they ran for president.

“It is not his wife’s money,” Burnett explained. “And unlike John McCain, Romney’s career has been in business, not politics. Mitt Romney is running on his business expertise. His tax returns are a relevant window in to his he conducts his business affairs.”

“If he refuses to release them, it is because one, he had a lot more money in tax shelters in prior years than he does how. Two, he did something shady. Or, three, he’s stupid.”

If "retroactive" works ... McCain can skip putting Sarah on the ticket.

It would be great to have never heard of her or her trash family.

Mitt Romney: Stop Asking Me So Many Darn Questions For Pete’s Sake

Is Mitt Romney cracking under the pressure? As the election season heats up Romney is finding himself in the crosshairs of both his friends and enemies alike. President Obama thinks the American people are entitled to know what Romney was doing at Bain Capital, and when he was doing it. Conservatives like George Will and Bill Kristol think he needs to release several years of his tax returns, and do it quickly. But Romney doesn’t believe that someone of his status should be called to account for his record.

As long as the topic is Changing Things Retroactivly, Bristol and her ghost writer knocking themselves out to rewrite each episode of "Life's a Tripp." Let's start by renaming it "Tripping Through Life." So far Bristol has had to ask for suggestion about how to discipline Tripp because it is clear that he has some serious behavior issues. My guess is that it's a combination of three plus years of no discipline and lots of sticking things in his mouth to stop him from crying-- his pacifier or chocolate.

Bristol's show is reality TV in that it shows us how immature Bristol really is. She was totally unprepared to be a mother when she was a teen, and she has done nothing to learn how to be a good parent. She doesn't know how to cook (except to make a cake or cupcakes). She has no idea how to set boundaries for a child while at the same time reassuring him that he is loved. The fact that she has to apologize each week means that she never thought it through ahead of time-- how will this look to other people. (It might be cute to be nasty to each other in the Palin family, but we don't all treat each other that badly).

Isn't that something she should be asking her mother about, not anonymous fans?

Oh yeah, that's right. Never mind.

    Retroactive.

All Mormons who were former non-Mormons are not Mormon again.

Baptized by Mormons, dead people who were (really still are) Jewish, Catholic, other Christian, Buddhist, pagan, agnostic, atheist, etc. These dead people are again who they were before the Mormons stalked dead people and put dead people into their name and soul collecting church and religion.

So there. I love how this retroactive thing works.

Though, it's okay if the Mormons keep Hitler (since Mormons baptized him long after his death, then tried to hide later they'd done the baptism).

I still cannot believe that some Mormons think Mitt is their White Horse (Savior). Though he and they deny it.

Mormons are now, at least to me, extra creepy, like many others in the USA Christian Tea Taliban, Scientologists, domestic or overseas terrorists who do anything for their religion. (I'm thinking in the USA of people who bomb family planning clinics and more).

Mormons fund hate campaigns. I wonder how much money they've managed to dump now into PACs via Citizens United.

Anyway, more about Mormon's White Horse:

Why the Bain Capital Story is So Important

...What does half the nation do, just a few years into the recovery?

They nominate Mitt Romney for president. They select a man who is literally a product of the corporate Olympus that almost obliterated everything. It can’t be repeated enough and without exaggeration: Mitt Romney resides in the one percent of the one percent. He’s among the top 3,140 wealthiest people in America and, therefore, among the 0.001 percent of the population. One percent of the one percent. His entire private sector life was spent seizing upon the advantages of Reaganomics. And yet half of us are getting ready to cast a vote in a few months in favor of rewinding and replaying the whole thing with the exact same policies and the exact same potential consequences.

Why is this? Why do we worship these people?

  21. Did you see what John McCain said today (Tues.) about his Palin vs Romney 2008 VP pick?

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/17/john-mccain-sarah-palin-mitt-romney_n_1680089.html?utm_hp_ref=john-mccain

"Sen. John McCain, the GOP's 2008 presidential nominee, said Tuesday that he didn't pick Sarah Palin over Mitt Romney for his vice presidential candidate because of Romney's tax return issues; he just thought Palin was the better candidate, Politico reports."

  22. Neither Romney nor the republicans will ever give PBO credit for anything good that has happened since he's been in the WH, even their ideas he's adopted and signed into law like the Affordable Care Act. They'll do/say anything they have to do/say to muddy the waters and make a segment of the population believe that PBO and liberals are the source of all of their problems. It's strange that they always forget about not bearing false witness as they claim to be the perfect examples of what Christians should be.

UK Parliament Resolution Calls On Barclays Execs To Stop Donating To Romney

Gryphen, I need some help here. I saw this quote on one of the news sites:
The Romney campaign ratcheted up its language on Tuesday in a conference call on which former New Hampshire governor and White House chief of staff John Sununu said he wished President Obama "would learn how to be an American."

And I really, really want to turn it into a mean-spirited, snarky, satirical, pro-Mittens kinda douchebaggy comment I'm deservedly famous for. But the racist, xenophobic lying and fear-mongering from the GOP establishment is just getting to me. Think of all the hateful things they said about Bill Clinton and never did they accuse him of not being an American. Obama shows up with his non-GOP-approved, less-than-alabaster "skin condition" and suddenly he doesnt even "know how to be an American"??? What the fuck?

So, maybe later I'll try to come up with something semi-humorously hostile to the extreme/establishment right but my heart's not in it at the moment.

(In case I forget to say it later: "damn their fucking eyes, the rat bastards!")
