Gryphen, have you seen this Daily Kos diary entry? It's about Mitt's big car accident in France back in the 1960's and makes for very interesting reading.

Laura Bush killed someone in a car accident in Texas while she was a teenager. No one, I don't think, ever held that against her. But details surrounding the accident were never brought out, either.
