Personally I hope this clip of Tripp calling Willow a faggot gets seen by as many people as possible, as it can ONLY help Levi when he is sitting in court across from Bristol, her constantly interfering mother, and their high priced lawyer.
I can tell you right now that I have already cleared my calendar in anticipation, and will be sitting front and center in that Wasilla courtroom if it ever gets that far. Count on it.

But when Palin talked about Steelman, at age 18, working on Ronald Reagan’s campaign in 1976, the former Alaska governor turned to her and said, "You couldn’t have been 18, you must’ve been 2…what a hot mama grizzly you have!”

Later, referring again to Reagan’s 1976 campaign, Palin said, “Back when Sarah and I were itty bitty babies.”
I would think a mama grizzly would be proud of her age.
Meriting applause were her references to Steelman’s experience as state treasurer and state senator and her attempts to rein in spending and perks for fellow politicians.
“She’s walkin’ the walk and not just talkin’ the talk,” Palin pointed out. Steelman has vowed to cut the deficit and get a balanced budget amendment passed.
And good advice for considering any candidate: Look at the record, not the rhetoric.
The tea party’s mantra of cutting spending and limiting the power of the federal government struck a chord with the audience, but never did the subject of jobs and job creation (my personal obsession) come up.
Instead, Palin reiterated Steelman’s slogan: “The status quo has got to go.”
She said Steelman was not heading to Washington to get invited to “frou-frou chi-chi D.C. cocktail parties.” Instead, she wants to “save our country’s economy and God-given freedoms” while protecting “the sanctity of human life.”
Palin’s certainly not part of the “in” crowd of Washington; none other than Dick Cheney recently blasted her for not being an appropriate choice for McCain’s running mate in 2008. So far, she’s not been invited to speak at the upcoming Republican National Convention.
But out here, just close enough to Kansas City for the metro’s media outlets to send camera crews and reporters to cover the event, the people loved Palin.
We’ll find out tomorrow if that love has rubbed off on Steelman."

I don't think it will get to a court room. Maybe some chambers, mediators. Katie Holmes took on the powerful Mr. Cruise. She got pretty much what she wanted. Granted she was the mother and was living with the child. No way would Cruise want to air dirty laundry in court.

I agree it's unlikely to get to a place where Brisket or Sara have to go under oath. They've certainly perjured themselves and can lie with some of the best psychopaths on the planet but I'm guessing Levi may have some actual proof to shoot down the lies. Best guess? Brisket gives up control, brings one of her other kids forward and has a really juicy reality show - lost child (victim), another out of wedlock rape baby (victim) and Sara can model Brisket as the lost christian virgin. Match made in heaven for Lifetime.

DeleteIf she is negligent and leaves Tripp with people who teach him horrible behaviors, that can also be addressed. Mothers have lost custody for less. If Tripp has irregular sleep places and partners, that can b changed.
If Brisdul makes trouble, yeah, she can lose custody. She will need to demonstrate she is mentally and emotionally able to care for him.

What is desperately sad, though, is Bristol's general attitude towards him, as though he is truly an obstacle in her life. I've been a single teen mother myself (many years ago), and I know it is hard to be a parent when you aren't ready for it. But taking your resentments and issues out on your young child is just wrong. Tripp is old enough to remember many of these times when she sets him up for something only to pull it away, or her general disengagement from him. Hopefully Levi & Sunny get him & can show him what parental love truly can be. All kids deserve it.

People can't take their handguns inside the convention but can carry concealed weapons in the streets surrounding the convention. Sarah's rented area is located in an area where you can carry. DON'T bring your water gun though! Those aren't allowed and "strings longer than six inches will not be allowed" ... so those of you who know Sarah, tell her to choose wisely which wigs she brings. Some of them look pretty stringy to me.

Just another encouragement for everyone to send whatever you can to Levi. Seriously, even if you think "well I could only afford to send five dollars and that wouldn't make enough difference to bother"- yes it can! Gryphen has LOTS of readers and what if a thousand people sent $5 to Levi?
ReplyDeleteI wanted Levi to know that myself and my beloved truly care for him and want him to prevail despite him being David to the Palin's deep pocketed, vicious, soul crushing Goliath. So we decided to give up something we wanted and give the money to Levi. We really wanted a photo booth at our wedding. But we don't NEED one, and that rental fee is enough to buy Levi a months' worth of diapers for little Breeze and put some gas in his truck to go to and from work for a couple weeks.
You can do it on a small scale- send Levi a $20 bill and tell him you gave up Starbucks for the week in order to send it. Or if you're lucky enough to be in the position to "do it big", by all means do so! Send Levi a check for $10,000 and tell him you're going to give up your private jet for a day on his behalf! ;)
Lastly, I strongly encourage everyone- whether you send it to Gryphen to forward on to Levi or send it directly to Sunny and Levi's post office box (address on Levi's face book page) please type/write something about how "Gryphen sent you".
Levi desperately needs to trust Gryphen- Rex and Tank poisoned Levi against Gryphen SO badly because they knew if Levi ever got close to Gryphen, Gryphen would tell Levi the truth about them actually working for Sarah and musguiding Levi about EVERY opportunity.
I really hope Levi brings it to the attention of the court that Bristol stole $50,000 from him which he was paid for their "reconcile/engagement" photo shoot. When she bitches about him being so far behind in support, she should bring up the $50k in "advance child support" her greedy ass stole.

I presumed it was a given that nobody go without food or necessities to participate. I realize there are many people whose finances can't support assisting Levi at all and that is fine. Moral support and vocal rebuttal of the lies the Palins leak about Levi (lives in basement, spent $1M on toys, etc) is JUST AS if not more important than monetary support.
For future reference, whether I'm encouraging people to send Gryphen $3 a month (a penny a day for IM, can't beat it!) or give to special Olympics OR assist Levi in taking on a foe so potent it has managed to evade the FBI, regulatory committees, and state agencies despite theft, prostitution, witness intimidation, willful ignorance of subpoenas, and a thousand other grievances- I am (obviously) only encouraging those who WISH TO DO SO.

Yeah, people can "find their way". But the main advantage the Palins have over Levi is MONEY. They say there are regulations in place to keep the fight fair between a parent with money and one without but be serious- we all know how the world works.
The Palins got their claws in Levi when he was a MINOR CHILD and they proceeded to bully and batter he and his family TO this very day. Because of their financial advantage and the sway it buys, they have trashed Levi in the media, put his mother in jail instead of first time offender probation like everyone else gets, and kept his child from him while simultaneously labeling him a deadbeat dad in the tabloids- so hell YES I think if anyone deserves help it is this kid. He's barely out of his teens for God's sake! And you expect him to stand toe to toe with Sarah's six hundred dollar an hour hired legal guns?
I don't "have it bad"- I have it pretty damn GOOD and I'm just trying to even the playing field a little in favor of a kid who through no fault of his own is spending his fourth year in a tyrant's crosshairs. If it was fuzzy red sweaters that would help Levi have a fair custody fight, then I'd be cheering everyone on to grab the knitting needles. But it's not fuzzy red sweaters- it's money. A means to an end- the "end" being the END of Bristol's reign of terror over Levi's child(ren). The end of Tripp being left with his TWO nannies even though his mother doesn't have a job. The END of Bristol jerking Tripp's little arm so hard she nearly pops it out of the socket. The END of Tripp being forced to participate in things which scare the hell out of him. The END of Tripp being isolated by the Palins so he can't tell their secrets now that he's old enough to.
Money will help Levi reach that end. So you go on thinking Levi should just "pull himself up by his bootstraps"- which would mean losing the battle for his child. And I'll keep encouraging people to be Levi's foot soldiers on the battlefield while he arms himself to fight this war.

Keep in mind nearly ALL the media appearances Levi has done were arranged and booked by his former attorney who was TRYING to make the public hate him. Also keep in mind Levi likely only saw a fraction of that money he made. Face it, Rex and Tank used that boy like their personal ATM, all the while probably collecting some nice "postage" from Sarah Palin.
Now that Levi is not a TEENAGE CHILD and is able to wrest free of those entanglements, he has gone on TV once, to the Insider I believe- and as Gryphen told us, Levi spilled some seriously damning info about Sarah. Then it was edited out- so all that was left is a fluff piece about the new baby. How is it Levi's fault the networks are too scared to call Sarah out on the big lies?
I hope Levi DOES sell new baby pictures- why should Bristol be the only one allowed to do it? I for one look forward to seeing Sunny and Levi's daughter and I only hope one of those photos is a family shot with Breeze's big brother included.

I suppose it's fruitless to hope you're in the greater Houston area?! I will check groupon, thanks for the idea. The place we were renting from did so in blocks of hours- and if you were late returning it, there was a huge overage charge.
I think what we might do now instead is have those life sized cardboard cutouts of us for guests to pose with, and have a table of funny props. I hate to say I ripped it off from a recent episode of "four weddings"- but I absolutely did. Turns out it's pretty cheap to have a life size cardboard doppelgänger made! We just have to go at different times to get the photos done because I don't want Menschie to see me in my dress.
Interesting note: in researching those cardboard stand up things, one of the first search results that came up was a site selling "life sized" cardboard stand ups of Sarah Palin. At 5 foot 9. She wishes!
Sounds like it would be juicy fun to watch, eh? But ... fortunately I think ... most domestic cases are not open to public voyeurism. Most are handled in dedicated very small courtrooms or judges chambers.

ReplyDeleteBack when the custody issue first came up, there was that LONG protracted battle with statements and hearings (has Sadie EVER been able to get her hands on the transcript from the hearing she participated in?) and after it was all said and done, despite having a well regarded lawyer on his side (so we thought) as well as Bristol saying she wasn't out to "deprive" Tripp of his father-- the ruling comes in, and Levi is awarded fifty HOURS per month with his son. HOURS. We all should have snapped to it back then- if your MONTHLY custody is measured in HOURS, something stinks to high heaven.
At the time, Bristol said she deserved primary custody instead of joint custody because she was afraid Levi would "exploit Tripp by putting him on tv and in magazines".

Less than six weeks later, Bristol is cashing five figure checks for selling photos of Tripp to tabloids. Followed by more tabloids, PEOPLE magazine covers, selling "candids" to the paparazzi, moving Tripp every few months for her newest episode of "Tripploixtation", DWTS vignettes with Tripp, this travesty of a "reality show", and on and on.
But- LEVI was not good enough because HE might "put tripp on television or in magazines"?
Please, please, please let the judge not be a Palin appointee, but someone who GENUINELY wants the best and most fair solution for Tripp. Including pointing out Bristol's outrageous hypocrisy. Levi wasn't qualified to be the custodial parent because he "might" exploit Tripp- according to Bristol.
So what does that make YOU, Bristol?

DeleteWhy doesn't anybody question the intent of the producers of Bristol's appallingly bad "reality show" who kept in that footage of Tripp climbing on the couch and shouting "I hate you" and "You're a [bleeped]" and Willow and Bristol kept giggling and spluttering as if they were shocked, but the cameras continued to roll and they extended their reactions, if not actually repeated them, and no one stuck Tripp in a chair for a time out (or washed his mouth out with soap, which I bet has never happened to Willow) and then the producers threw in a voice over from Bristol who says she can't handle this child. Why did they put this wretched behavior in the program in the first place? It can only be to create our collective outrage and keep it going until now we have the continuing tabloid of Levi showing up at the courthouse to pick up custody forms. Somebody's making money from this farce.

In time Levi may have a case against the producers. Tripp is a minor and treated much worse than Hanks or Massey Bros. IMHO. They are old enough to know what is going on. Tripp is just victimized by all the adults. If I was a cameraman filming child exploitation or abuse I do think I would walk off and let people know why. Just sayin..... I wouldn't be hanging with that group in the first place.
DeleteThere are so many scenes I thought were abusive or awful enough for more attention. Please media if you cover this custody case show more. No one watched the dumb show. It was not just one incident. I did not see the entire series but enough. I think the whole context is important.
Start with the interview where Bristol said peop;e would see the "real" Bristol and other pertinent things I now forget.

After the end of the year when Sherry is off probation, and once custody is established with Levi as at LEAST a joint custodian, I'd not be shocked if Sunny starts displaying a more generous attitude with regard to her comment policy.
I was just wanting to add- I REALLY understand your frustration in this regard. After Levi promised Trig Truthers we would "love" his book and then it seemed like the only reason the damn thing came out was to try and cement Sarah's obscenely impossible pregnancy and 'birth'- I truly wanted to scream. I was SO mad at Levi. I kept asking myself "WHY won't he just COME CLEAN???"

He would only lose if he did something real serious and it can be proved. He caves, has bad representation, things like that.
DeleteEven a lukewarm family court would respect his visitation. With a decent attorney a consistent visitation schedule will happen. Joint custody is reasonable unless the court deems Bristol impossible to work with.
I think Levi needs an attorney, backed by a good firm, that has experience in handling/solving child custody cases.

Tonight, both Chris Matthews and Alex standing in for LOD were talking about whether Sarah will speak at the convention. It seems they are stuck because they need every vote they can get and need to have Sarah's base of rednecks vote for Rmoney. I was at the PeePeePlace and did notice that a lot of them say they won't vote for Rmoney unless Sarah has a speaking part at the convention. So it seems with old Dick walking back his "Mistake" remark and them needing her base, I think they may have to let her speak. This is going to be fun either way. I would love for them to "shut the door" in her face and see what she does! You know she didn't go out and get those new boobs for nothing, I believe she got them just for the Tampa event. With history being the best predictor of the future, she will not be ignored and I will be ready to watch this spectacle!

When the new contestants participated in a panel discussion for the Television Critics Association’s summer tour, the critics’ disdain for me was obvious. While they asked many questions (or, really, just a few questions over and over), only one stands out in my mind: Would I mind dancing with a gay dance partner?
Spoiler alert: Bristol totally would dance with a gay dance partner if it means she can "maybe – just maybe – walk away with the mirror ball trophy."

And whose fault is it that Bristol is compelled to set the record straight on how she thinks gay people are wrong, unless they help her win a trophy, in which case, yeah, they're all right? The stupid media, of course:

DeleteRegarding the custody case:
ReplyDelete1. Paternity - Levi has already admitted paternity and the court has ruled on that. Regardless of any DNA testing (which is years too late for the legal system), Levi is the *legal* father.
2. There is a difference between Legal Custody and Physical Custody. Right now, Bristol has both with Levi having visitation. Legal Custody gives parents the right to make decisions about their child's health, upbringing, school, residence, etc. Physical Custody has to do with when and how much time each parent spends with the child.
Levi will most certainly get Joint Legal and Physical Custody. He will have joint decision making with regard to major life issues, such as residence, schooling, health matters. He should have received that in the beginning but we know his lawyers were on the Palin Payroll so that's how he got royally screwed.
Levi should get more timeshare. He should also get a specific schedule down to the time and place and if Bristol doesn't show up, he can document that.
There should be a clause stating that Bristol cannot change Tripp's residence out of state without court approval, which includes notifying Levi.
Missed timeshare should be made up.
3. Evaluations - This is an almost certainty. The court will have each parent see a court appointed evaluator (psychologist). Many courts rubber stamp the court evaluators report and decide custody matters based on it. If one parent, such as Bristol, only complains about the other parent, Levi, it is a sign to the evaluator that that parent, Bristol, will not effectively co-parent and facilitate a relationship between the child and the other parent, Levi. This is a red flag to the evaluator and would be reflected in the report to the court.
4. Child support - this is certainly going to be reviewed and modified. There will be a downward modification so that Levi's child support will be in line with his present capability to earn. I don't see where the court would impute the high wages he formerly received from TV appearances, etc. Since Alaska is not an Income Shares State (where both parent's incomes and timeshares are put into the calculation) Levi will pay whatever the going percentage of his current paycheck is. Bristol will not be able to convince the court that Levi could make more money.
Hope this helps all the legal speculation, including the DNA testing some people bring up.
