Just something to keep in mind.

You know I have ALWAYS wondered why the GOP chose the color red to represent their party.

This of course is somewhat simplistic, but is IS true that the Colonists were fighting to break free from the oppression of England telling them how to live their lives.

And doesn't THAT sound familiar?

The GOP didn't pick red. That's a recent thing that the media has since adopted.

So the media tells the GOP what to do?

As we watch the Hurricane come closer to the Gulf Coast, a reminder:

"Ryan opposed new, Obama-backed disaster aid regime"

"Some Republicans are still fighting this," Landrieu said in an interview Tuesday. "And it is kind of ironic that the storm was at some point headed towards Tampa during their convention. That would have been the irony of all ironies for this storm to hit Tampa when the Republicans were the ones saying 'we need to find offsets'" for disaster aid.

    66 Republicans voted against this.

IMO, will the Rethugs who's states need the aid not take it because they voted it down -- That's the biggest joke of all. They're usually the first at the trough.

      You pegged it!

Jindal is bitching that President Obama has not sent enough funds to his state to cover the cost of the Hurricane. (LOL) Considering the hurricane hasn't truly hit yet. Obama is not acting any different than George Bush issuing the same level of aid when Hurricane Gustav hit IN 2008. What did we hear from Jindal then? CRICKETS.

What a freakin' hypocrite. He too probably voted the aid bill down. He's already asking for $8 million saying the state has prepped 300 buses and 5,000 shelters? 5,000 shelters? Really??? I also question the bus number as there was not a mandatory evacuation.

Remember too, Jindal is the one when giving the response to Obama's SofU - said that volcano monitoring equipment was unnecessary in AK and the volcano erupted the following week. Egg on whose face?? ROFL.

They see no hypocrisy here, really. As Mitt says, "I am who I am." If that's a POS, that's what it is. It will be interesting to see how they try to rebrand Mitt when the Paul supporters are totally PO'd at being shoved under the bus this afternoon. All is not well in the GOP. I almost feel sorry for the Queen. But not too sorry.

  3. That dates way back to Nancy Reagan insisting that only she wear red, and Bar restricted to "Bush blue."

Of course, once FLOTUS, Bar showed up on the cover of Time magazine in a scarlet suit...

Thing is, we desperately need a new party. The senate in all capacities is full of worthless POS. The House has passed budgets and has been working.

They ALL need to go and YOU ALL need to see that.

Generation change NOW. Let's drive out babyboomers and Gen Xers.

Being so petty about the rollcall and not acknowledging Ron Paul's delegate votes on the podium -- curious whether they won't vote??

Things that make you go hmmmmm. Likely that thought!

Yes, but those standards are NOT what today's standards for being "liberal" is. I would hope that those people would be ashamed of stereotypical liberals today and their hypocrisy and crassness.

You sir, are ignorant and a goon. Learn to be objective and put down the koolaid.

Speaking of the GOP, the atmosphere at C4P is doom and gloom today.

The one and only Queen of the Universe, and Wasilla Wanker did not cause an earthquake, and was not nominated to be President.

The C4P'ers have taken three massive hits since 2009

Summer 2009: $arah QUITS as gov of Alaska, abandoning her oath of office

October 2011 $arah QUITS running for President, and scurries back to Wasilla with Her $araPAC money so she can pay plastic surgeons, family, and Trig sitters.

August 2012 $arah's earthquake does not happen, and the delegates nominate Mitt Romney.

Now these poor deluded souls are calling for open revolt, 3rd party, and for the ancient Crone of Wasilla to lead them to a new Conservative Christian states of America in 2016.

The level of their despair, desperation, and disappointment is palpable, pathetic, and predictable.

They backed a 3 time DEFEATED Loser

So here is a question for conservatives in the USA. They talk about "freedom". Freedom for whom to do what?

Excellent question. Since they are supposedly anti-tax, how come they are mad at Obama for LOWERING their taxes? Since they are anti-government and the government has SHRUNK under Obama, why are they mad about that? Since he has not restricted their infantile obsession with weapons, why are they mad about that? Seems to me that if they paid half a second's attention, they could find out that the GOP will raise their taxes, shrink government and cause MORE job lossed across the board, and take away female rights by the bushelful. Soulnds like we need our own tea party to take back this nation from the GOP's power grab.

Now we know why they're going after Obama on the bizarre charge that he's "anti-colonial."
