Pennsylvania GOP official suggests Obama supporter must be "mentally retarded." Sarah Palin to respond in 3..2..well actually this is a Republican so never.

Oh yeah, you can just FEEL the intelligence can't you?
 Courtesy of the Huffington Post:

At an election night party for state Rep. Randy Vulakovich (R-Shaler), Allegheny County GOP chair and former county executive Jim Roddey fired up a couple hundred local Republicans by noting that Vulakovich had defeated his Democratic opponent by a nearly 50-point margin.

Roddey then segued to a less positive note.

"There was a disappointment tonight. I was very embarrassed," Roddey told the crowd, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "I was in this parking lot and there was a man looking for a space to park, and I found a space for him. And I felt badly -- he looked like he was sort of in distress. And I said, 'Sir, here's a place.' And he said, 'That's a handicapped space.' I said, 'Oh, I'm so sorry, I saw that Obama sticker and I thought you were mentally retarded.'"

Post-Gazette reporter Tim McNulty observed that the crowd "hollered and clapped" in response to the insensitive joke.

Of course if this were said by a liberal Palin would be spitting out invectives faster than her ghostwriter could jot them down But since this guy is on her side he will of course get a free pass.

However let me just add that ANY time one of these GOP idiots wants to compare IQ scores with the average Obama supporter they are in for a bad time.

After all none of US ever supported Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, or Rick Perry, now did we? Nor are we the ones working tirelessly to destroy education in this country in order to keep people voting for our party.

And look, it's working.

This is SP's SOP. Scream like hell when a lib says retard and run like hell when a repub says it. I'm so positive she won't denounce this putz, that I'll vote for Romney if she does. Not worried at all that I'll have to.

Not funny even if the joke used someone else for the punch line.

Emails from Strategic Forecasting, Inc., more commonly known as Stratfor, have been hacked by WikiLeaks.

One of the emails was a insensitive joke about Sarah.

"What is the difference between Sarah's mouth and her vagina?" "Only half the stuff out of her vagina is retarded."

Sarah ... go attack Stratfor too.

I'm an independent but I still take offense at what the lowest of the right has to put forth. I really think that Obama might have a good chance of winning in November. He will get my vote, as he did in 2008. I hope that saner minds prevail and Obama has 4 more years. I feel that all politicians are purchased entities, Obama included, I just like to have the freedom to vote for the lesser of two evils. Obama seems to fit that bill once again in this election.

I am beyond disgusted and just wrote to CBS News. I have been watching their 6 p.m. newscast. For weeks Scott Pelley, Nancy Cordes and now Bob Schieffer have been calling President Obama "Mr. Obama" I told them this is deeply disrespectful. They call Romney "governor" even though he has not held that job in years. I do not recall Bush ever being called Mr. Bush, even though he was fraudulently placed into the WH. President Obama was voted into office by an overwhelming majority, and he should be treated with the respect he has earned. I told them all of this, and finished with the fact that I hope Romney is never president, unless it is of his country club. I pointed out that their bias is showing. I am just furious, and will not watch their "news" anymore. This article I am on the message board for is truly disgusting. Remember when W was in office, and HAD to be respected (according to the gop) because we are at war. Even though he started the wars, we were supposed to respect him. Because of the gop and their useless minions, this country is going to HELL.

Then you must have a really short memory. He was constantly Mr. Bush. Of course your short memory is a good example of how a dumb ass like Obama can become president. As far as respect, I have yet to see on Republocrat or Dempublican that is worthy of the respect I would give dog shit I was wiping off my shoe much less any respect that should be afforded the office of president.

This is MY county!!! We shall not forget, Mr. Roddey. BTW, this has gone viral. You have made a royal ass out of your Republican self. I expect to see it on Rachel tonight. (When will the Repubs learn that they have NO sense of humor?)

Obviously the entire story was a lie. When was the last time a repub. offered to help someone who was not a large donor? Unless, taking a look at this creep, he was hoping to arrange to meet the "poor man" at the restroom later? How do these low I.Q. people get elected? Oh, right, he IS a repub. and probably smarter than his entire constituency combined.

There might be one good aspect of this continuing Repub meme that Dems are stupid, I spoke with a family member recently who is a Fox News junkie. She's convinced Romney is way out in front. She heard it on Fox, so it must be true! I'm an electoral college junkie, and Romney has to win pretty much every swing state to win the election. It would be tough to unseat a Democratic prez that everybody hated, and as we know, only retards hate Obama :)

    2. Oh, this "joke" was all over C4P this summer. Sometimes the Obama supporter is "handicapped," sometimes "retarded." it was obviously an email that made the rounds of the ignorant and bigoted.

Telling it on a blog is one thing. A party official repeating it in public? Abominable.

Jesus wept. And so do I for these hate-filled idiots.

I've gotten this news item in my inbox from several people.
The ad by a PAC for President Obama was very effective, and got the exact reaction it was intended to make to prove the point that the ACA works. It defines Romney and the plight of real people who were adversely effected by his role in Bain Capital.

Sorry, Mitt, PAC's are people too! President Obama had nothing to do with the ad.

Mann Coulter is calling for her firing on Hannity. LOLZ pass the popcorn! Alex Wagner did a great piece on "The Last Word"... even Rush and Red State chimed in.

Andrea Saul took the bait and ran with it, even the fox news script reading guy quickly cut her off because she was babbling on and on grasping at straws trying to defend Romney.

It's sad when anyone uses the word retarded. It really is a derogatory word and unnecessary, despite just meaning slow. I feel for anyone with a special needs loved one. No wonder all the Palins react strongly against the word. When I was in HS a million years ago, even then my teacher, who had an autistic brother, nearly cried when a student would say it.

Oh puhlease - it's not any specific word, it's the sentiment. At one point, imbecile and moron were medical terms... then they became insults, so they were replaced with "mentally retarded" then "retarded became an insult, so the medical and professional communities began using "special needs" and "developmentally delayed." Well special needs had those needs filled - so now the insult is - "you came on the short bus." All the linguistic sleight of hand in the world will not change the underlying need of some people to be vicious and insult. Stop trying.

If your teacher was upset at the use of "retarded" because she had an autistic brother,Maybe she should not have been a teacher.Retarded and autistic are not the same thing.Of course, having a teacher who is able to understand things may be why you don't.

    BIZARRO WORLD: DUMBEST 'GAFFE' YET

...And if the reaction to Saul's statement proves anything, it's that the tribe has only become less inclined toward Romney's health care law. The fury, in this instance, was led by Red State founder Erick Erickson, who earnestly tweeted: "OMG. This might just be the moment Mitt Romney lost the election. Wow." Ever since then, he's been blogging about Saul's statement as if it were a massive disaster, assuring his readers that "Mitt Romney’s ardent supporters are fit to be tied today." Rush Limbaugh has since piled on, telling his listeners that "Andrea Saul's appearance on Fox was a potential gold mine for Obama."

Just as sad as it is that Palin will not say anything about this putz using a phrase she supposedly finds offensive...is how the Fox channel NEVER reports anything of this nature to their audience.

You wonder why those who favor that source for "news" don't put two and two together, when they finally hear of something along these lines.

I know that if it comes out that some Democrat has actually said or done something awful, I'd be madder at network TV for not reporting it, than over the act itself.

  17. I kinda wonder if Dems are going to be cheering Sarah on in a couple of weeks. We all know she can't stand being ignored, and she's obviously holding out for a prime spot at the convention, so what happens when Mitt makes the tough decision not to let her suck all the oxygen out of his convention?

I don't think she'll be very happy. I can see her teaching her "little retarded baby" to say FAGGOT just like his not so adorable cousin (brother?), and loading both him and the always surly Piper up in a fancy painted bus and headin' on over to Tampa to teach the elites a little lesson- Don't Fuck with white trash!

Do it Sarah! Stand up for "Real America!"

If Sarah Palin truly had a disabled child, she would be a caring, loving woman, not a mean-spirited, shallow woman of little substance.

Tick tock, time will show her deception. It's the law of the universe.

    2. I don't know how you can say that! Look at all the work she's done helping to raise money for charities that help mentally disabled people! Look at the foundation she started; I think it's called "Tri-g Like Me." And finally, look at how loving she is with her son on so many episodes of SPA. She even cried one time when she got a look at her life in a few years - when Trig met his cousin. I think she's done almost as much as all of us here thought she would.

      What a mother!

"Villaraigosa took pains not to say outright that Rubio would be a bad choice, but he also wouldn't say whether he thinks the senator is qualified. He said experience in the executive branch should be the most important consideration -- mentioning Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) -- but added that the vice presidential candidate could be someone who "comes from a state where they might get a bump." Rubio could give that bump in Florida, but it's unclear whether it would do anything in the rest of the country, Villaraigosa said.

Again invoking Sarah Palin, he said there's no way to tell how Rubio would play on the ticket.

"These things are so dynamic," he said. "I remember when they picked Sarah Palin, I was walking out of the convention and I think we were at the airport, and they announced it. There was a camera crew there and they interviewed me, and I said it's either going to be the greatest pick or it's going to be a bomb. And we all know what happened with that one."

Come on, Sarah, where's the outrage? Someone used the dreaded "R" word and you haven't taken to your Facebook yet. Oh, could it be that he is a Republican?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anonymous5:08 PM

Being a Republican audience, they cheered and applauded. It was uncertain whether they were applauding the ridiculing of Obama supporters or rejecting the “politically correct” society that finds the use of the word retarded inappropriate and offensive.

Back in 2009 Sarah Palin and the Republican Party jumped all over President Obama for comparing his lack of bowling skills to the Special Olympics, but so far Palin and her fellow Republicans have yet to condemn Roddy’s use of the R-word.

I guess it is fine for Republicans to use a slur against people with intellectual disabilities as long as they are talking about Democrats. It should be noted that Obama beat McCain, 57%-41% in the country in 2008, so perhaps the person with the mental limitation is the Republican chairman who thinks that insulting nearly 60% of the voters in the county will help his party is November.

Republicans once again display their class by not even being able to celebrate without insulting and demeaning others. Roddey shouldn’t just apologize. He should do his party and the human race a favor and resign.

Sarah won't have anything to say about this because (a) it was said by a Republican and (b) since th punchline of the story is a slap at Obama/Obama supporters there is no way to make it about herself as victim.

You may have noticed that her and Todd's thoughts and prayers don't seem to winging their way towards the shooting victims in Wisconsn, either.... but then again, they are brown people with funny names and turbans, also too

Are the folks in the middle that large and ignorant that they would vote for mr. prancy pants? A steaming pile of lying mormon shit. A fat cat who wants all the taxpayers' money and then some.

If the middle voters can make a difference in the outcome of this election, I hope the middle isn't stupid and large.

The gop and the msm are playing as if romney is viable. As if the gop itself is viable. It's a test of my sanity to comprehend their hypocrisy and lies.
