I guess this little guy is not aware that according to many conservatives Tim Tebow is essentially the second coming of Christ.
Or perhaps they just know that SAYING you are good, and simply BEING good are two entirely different things.
Regardless of the reason one thing is clear, babies trust those who are worthy of that trust. And personally I would take their opinion over a political pundit any day of the week.
Babies know better.

DeleteYep, babies know.
ReplyDeleteIs there someone you know who needs a ride to go vote on November 6th?
ReplyDeleteLet us and all the babies have the best and last laugh by reelecting our wonderful President!
Dayum. Tebow's grin does look pretty evil in that photo, no wonder the baby is screaming its poor little lungs to shreds.
ReplyDeleteI'm not exactly an Obama worshiper (although I am voting for him again), but one of the things I do admire about him is the genuine ease he has with people of all ages. Babies' reactions to him is the most telling though, since they have no social filter and they don't hesitate to express their displeasure when they're uncomfortable with someone. They really seem to respond to Obama on an instinctively comfortable level.
Thanks for posting Gryphen! When I first saw that pic I thought of you so I posted it here.
ReplyDeleteLiz, I've been thinking about that same idea, with all of the Republican efforts to suppress the vote. Local Democratic committees should be out every weekend between now and the election, registering voters and signing them up for absentee ballots if necessary. I'd donate for that.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, I hate to be one of those people who point out mistakes, but anyone who watches Sarah for any length of time knows that the word is "pundint."
:-)
Love, love, LOVE pictures of the President with babies and children! They have no political or social agenda and just respond to their instincts about who's genuine and who's fake.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite video is the one where he takes the crying baby who immediately quiets down. The expression on his face when he looks at the First Lady is priceless!
I always love seeing President Obama interacting with infants and kids. How lucky were Malia and Sasha to have a dad like him?
ReplyDeleteI think it comes natural with your own, but with stranger's kids it means a lot more, you can't fake that connection.
