Ann Romney's biggest concern if her husband becomes president would be his ability to maintain his "mental well-being," she said in an interview Thursday with KTVN in Reno, Nev.
Asked what her primary worry would be should her husband succeed in defeating President Obama on Nov. 6, Mrs. Romney replied, "You know, I think my biggest concern, obviously, would just be for his mental well-being."
I think that THIS might have been the most honest thing that Queen Antoinette Romney has EVER said about her husband. If she thinks Mitt might crack doing this job, I think WE should all listen to her.
Have you ever closely watched Romney's face after he has just answered a question or is waiting for the applause to die down? He always looks like he is just this side of a nervous breakdown.
He holds his mouth funny, and often appears disoriented, as if he is fighting to differentiate what around him is real, and what is not real.
For instance take a look at his response to a reporter asking him whether he would start campaigning harder to try and bring up his lower poll numbers:
“Ha ha. We’re in the stretch aren’t we? Look at those clouds. It’s beautiful,” he said, pointing to the sky. “Look at those things.”
See? He noticed the clouds are real right there. Okay that is not somebody whose mental health we need to worry about IF he gets this job, this is somebody whose mental health should be in question NOW!
And don't even get me started on the whole Mormon belief thing!
No we need somebody who can handle the job, and President Obama is clearly that man.
Not only that, but when you ask him a question he doesn't suddenly start talking about how tall the trees are, or the beauty of the clouds in the sky. Which should inspire a huge sigh of relief in all of us.
What a desperate desperate BOY he is.
ReplyDeleteAnne....i share your concern.....
ReplyDeleteRMoney's breathy responses make me uncomfortable. It's like words just occur to him and it utters them without knowing exactly what it means. Sounds like someone else we know.
ReplyDeleteJust watch his eyes as they dart around, panic, fear, get me out of here etc etc.
DeleteIf his wife is worried about his mental health faced with the pressures of being POTUS, then we should be concerned that he does not have the "right stuff" to be POTUS.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing these two posts on facebook all I'm going to be able to do during the debates is picture Romney in his "magic" underware! ugh!

I'm putting out my Kolob radar and asking them to please take this asshat back to where he came from, and I don't mean Mexico. Yea, he wasn't born there but, was he actually born or was he hatched in a lab. Just asking.
ReplyDeleteBetter google Kokaubeam also, too.
DeleteIVF doesn't really mean 'hatched', but close enough
DeleteHe's not a smart man.
ReplyDeleteAnd, look at the crap President and Mrs. Obama have been through in these past near four years!
ReplyDeleteRomney is only getting a taste of what being president would be like. The media is horrible! He lies so much he is already twisted in knots. He's made a total mess out of his campaign. Can you imagine what he'd be like as president (if elected)? Look how he has aged already!!! Mrs. Romney should worry about him - he is totally inept for holding this high office.
How did he ever run Bain Capital? He just seems to have no leadership skills at all. I suspect others have run it and because Romney has so much money, they just have him sign checks and legal documents. I'd love to be a fly on a wall in their meetings! I seriously doubt he is largely instrumental in making decisions. I don't buy it at all.
I would think that the Romneys are going to feel nothing but relief after they have lost and can go back to one of their homes. They just aren't use to be treated with so little respect!!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012
His presidency would be just like Bush's...keep him on vacation most of the first year while puppet masters plan the next 9/11 to get us into more fucking wars.
DeleteWell remember, Almighty Grover Norquist says mitt only has to have enough digits to sign republican bills. He doesn't have to think.
DeleteAnne has been quite revealing about Mittens' mental state recently. She also said that he needs her with him as a "stabilizer". Not TOO scary! She has to sit in the audience, so that he can look for her, and get the encouragement he needs. I'm not so sure we want a President who needs his mommy in the audience to get him through a debate.
ReplyDeleteThere's a creepy picture of Mittens sitting with his grand kids, eating pizza, and watching Anne give her "I love women!" speech at the RNC. His face has a look of sheer pain, and he's all hunched up, and doesn't even seem aware of the children sitting all around him.
Mitt looks like Sling Blade in the picture! Scary as all get out!
(If someone can find the picture, would you please post it here, last time it took me forever, and I forgot to save) I will look, too. Thanks!
Here you go . . . .

Yep, that's the deer in the headlights look!
DeleteTotally staged photo, like "those people" eat pizza!
1 And I, Abraham, had the Urim and Thummim, which the Lord my God had given unto me, in Ur of the Chaldees;
ReplyDelete2 And I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God: I have set this one to govern all those which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
4 And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob.
5 And the Lord said unto me: The planet which is the lesser light, lesser than that which is to rule the day, even the night, is above or greater than that upon which thou standest in point of reckoning, for it moveth in order more slow; this is in order because it standeth above the earth upon which thou standest, therefore the reckoning of its time is not so many as to its number of days, and of months, and of years.
6 And the Lord said unto me: Now, Abraham, these two facts exist, behold thine eyes see it; it is given unto thee to know the times of reckoning, and the set time, yea, the set time of the earth upon which thou standest, and the set time of the greater light which is set to rule the day, and the set time of the lesser light which is set to rule the night.
7 Now the set time of the lesser light is a longer time as to its reckoning than the reckoning of the time of the earth upon which thou standest.
8 And where these two facts exist, there shall be another fact above them, that is, there shall be another planet whose reckoning of time shall be longer still;
9 And thus there shall be the reckoning of the time of one planet above another, until thou come nigh unto Kolob, which Kolob is after the reckoning of the Lord’s time; which Kolob is set nigh unto the throne of God, to govern all those planets which belong to the same border as that upon which thou standest.
10 And it is given unto thee to know the set time of all the stars that are set to give light, until thou come near unto the throne of God.
11 Thus I, Abraham, talked with the Lord, face to face, as one man talketh with another; and he told me of the works which his hands had made;
12 And he said unto me: My son, my son (and his hand was stretched out), behold I will show you all these. And he put his hand upon mine eyes, and I saw those things which his hands had made, which were many; and they multiplied before mine eyes, and I could not see the end thereof.
13 And he said unto me: This is Shinehah, which is the sun. And he said unto me: Kokob, which is star. And he said unto me: Olea, which is the moon. And he said unto me: Kokaubeam, which signifies stars, or all the great lights, which were in the firmament of heaven.
14 And it was in the night time when the Lord spake these words unto me: I will multiply thee, and thy seed after thee, like unto these; and if thou canst count the number of sands, so shall be the number of thy seeds.
15 And the Lord said unto me: Abraham, I ahow these things unto thee before ye go into Egypt, that ye may declare all these words.
16 If two things exist, and there be one above the other, there shall be greater things above them; therefore Kolob is the greatest of all the Kokaubeam that thou hast seen, because it is nearest unto me.
17 Now, if there be two things, one above the other, and the moon be above the earth, then it may be that a planet or a star may exist above it; and there is nothing that the Lord thy God shall take in his heart to do but what he will ado it.
You are so right. And the way he moves from side to side, like his arms are too short for his body...he just looks so awkward. His facial and body expressions are those of someone looking to and reacting to whatever way the wind is blowing, not someone capable of thought. He is scary. Who is voting for this guy? He looks and acts like a child.
ReplyDeleteOne of the first things I noticed about him was his body language when he was speaking to crowds. The ordinary person when they want to engage people on either side will just turn their head or pivot the top part of their body to face those on the right or left. Romney actually moves his entire body to the left or right. I thought that was a bit odd - so started paying attention to other things including bits and pieces of things that have come out about how he treats people. I have come to the conclusion he probably has Asperger's Syndrome. I don't know a great deal about it but have dealt closely with a man who has it. There is something seriously wrong with this man. He has to be managed and coached constantly. Please google Aspeger Syn.

Those looks when he's taking and answering questions are the gears turning as he tries to access the correct response for the specific audience out of his Rombot data bank. He's twisted himself into knots with all his flip flops. But we've seen the REAL Mitt Romney - it's the one speaking to his $50K/plate donors about the dreadful 47%.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that he's got so many memorized answers for the anticipated debate questions stored in that Rombot data bank that we'll see those looks again. I really hope Jim Lehrer comes up with a question that wasn't anticipated by Romney, then we'll see his total inability to think on his feet without tripping, while the President will be able to handle it. And unlike Sarah Palin, who was let off the hook by Joe Biden for fear of looking like he was attacking her, the President won't let Romney get away with NOT answering the question.
He's got zingers ready for that. "Says who?" "Nanoo nanoo" It's going to turn things around for him!
Delete"where are your last ten years of taxes?" would be a start.
DeleteI hope Biden rips Ryan a new one in their debate. Ryan's a pompous, arrogant little liar. He's the GOP's hope for the future? Ha!
DeleteThey're going to have to closet her away somewhere, you don't tell the nation you're worried about your husband's mental well being if he's elected. That's not going to win any voters, and will turn away a bunch...elect a man whose wife, who knows him well, is worried about his mental health? Yikes. Yes, we definitely want the President of the most powerful country on earth to have iffy mental health. Finger near the red button and all.
ReplyDeleteEveryone already knows he's kaput dealing with foreign countries, offending them right and left. I can't understand why Republicans with any intelligence, like Peggy Noonan, are offering advice on how to win the election. Thinking as badly as they clearly do about him, WHY do they want him to win?
I just don't get it. This whole year has been like some Saturday Night Live skit...unbelievable, laughable if it weren't real. Cain, Bachmann, Perry, it just doesn't make any sense.
This is a t=shirt tailor made for Mitt:
ReplyDeleteI don't have AD..D...look! A butterfly
This is a real t shirt, saw it in Cape May NJ
Ann doesn't want him to win, obviously.
ReplyDeleteOMG she let the truth out and I can't believe she said that! If my husband were about to get his dream job and his prospective employer asked me the same question, I am definitely not stupid enough to say I'm worried about his mental health!
ReplyDeleteExactly! There's something about Mitt that's creepy to a different degree. He tries to be too perfect, like Sarah Palin. Look at me, I'm perfect, my family is perfect, my life is perfect..
DeleteLike Palin, there's a lot going on in the background that no one is witness to, but it's obvious something's wrong. Could be his Mormon religion. That church puts enormous pressure on its members.
These days Mitt just looks like someone who spends a lot of time crying, and who is ready to cry at any moment. Ann has confirmed.
ReplyDeletePoor Ann, hey, cut her some slack, The family's not stumping together, Romney had a bad couple of weeks, the 47 percent video leaked, his wife had surgery to remove a small cyst from her right hand, and she believes it will affect him mentally. She had her cabin fill with smoke and couldn't open a few windows to get oxygen. She's just stressed, Poor thing!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder her magic underwear's tied up in knots!
She misses her olympic horse ballet therapy, tea sadwiches at the country club, sleeping in her own beds, playing bridge with the elite, yachting and watercraft outings on the lake. Stop it, This is HARD! Whaaaaaah!
This is first lady material?
Perfect post: you've nailed it!
Delete"This is first lady material?" Ah...nope!
DeleteThe worst part of being subjected to candidate Mitt Romney is, for me, the omnipresence of Ann. She is like his monitor and mommy is one. They do have much in common. Both are short on substance. Both are mean-spirited. Both feel absolutely entitled. Both are missing the empathy gene (except for themselves.) In short, a match made in Mormon heaven.
DeleteSomeone needs to go back to France and read the medical info on that car accident he was in ages ago. That's when this brain damage started and it has gotten worse as time goes on. He has something wrong with him mentally and in times of stress, it shows.
ReplyDeleteHe can't think on his feet, screws up easy answers, pretends he doesn't hear what people say, and gets testy when called on it, like a petulant child.
I think he has serious mental issues and maybe just a place holder until 2016 when the GOP can run a serious candidate like Jeb Bush. If he wins, he holds the place and bows out due to mental pressures leaving the way for Jeb to slide into the nomination. If he loses, the GOP goes on super over drive against President Obama and leaves it to their savior Jeb to pull them out.
I had not thought about that accident- you could be right about that. Also - please google Asperger's Syndrome as he has pretty much the entire list of symptoms.
DeletePat Padrnos
I think the Mitt car wreck story is as phony as Sarah's Trig story.
DeleteIf a Democratic presidential candidate ever said anything like worrying about her husband's "mental health" should he be elected, the world-wide media would have been all over it in a nanosecond. How many CNN or Fox of PBS or CBS or NBC or ABC commentators have expressed concern about Ann Romney's really damning statement?
ReplyDeleteBeaglemom
Will you hear anything about the remark on Fox News?? Will Bill O'Rielly mention it, Sean Hannity or Greta?? Will Fox and Friends in the morning talk about it? Absolutely not!
DeleteBeaglegrandma
I do believe that Mitt IS on the brink. Think about it... the only goal he has left in this life is to become what his father could not: POTUS! IF he does lose, I fully expect him to permanently disappear from public view and it would be anyone's guess as to where he was hiding. He clearly gets no genuine pleasure from a life without absolute power. HE MUST BE DEFEATED or all of us are in BIG trouble.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 5:59 AM: I completely agree. Especially since the RNC, Mitt has (how should I put this) like Duran Duran: 'Come Undone' In light of all that has passed regarding Mitt's (and Ryan's) continuous faux pas' I think the debate(s) will prove to be the final straw, whereby, the question positively begs to be asked: "Why, Governor Romney, do YOU want to be President of these United States? and you have 2 minutes?" Like Captain Kirk's: 'Illogic question',I think Mitt will positively implode!
DeleteI am trying desperately to figure Ann Romney out. Who reveals concern for her husband's mental health at the height of political campaign for president? There are about a dozen other ways she could have stated it but that would necessitate some basic intelligence. She reveals herself to be a fool every time she opens her mouth. Did she expect us to believe that she LOVES that we have an African-American president and that she LOVES that women can chose to stay home if they wish? What an idiot. In this case, though, I think she acknowledges Mitt's fragile state of mind... but thinks her remark will bring pity (and VOTES) rather than concern. Not smart.
ReplyDeleteWhat I can't get over is this belief by Anntoinette that 'it's Mitt's turn.' Not a thing about his being competent or ready for the job, just that it is somehow ordained by their version of God that it's 'Mitt's turn.' WTF??
ReplyDeleteGryphen: Do you remember an old song from the 70s "They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha Ha"?
ReplyDeleteI suspect Mitt will be singing it in no time!!
"And they're coming to take me away Ha Ha
They're coming to take me away ho ho he he ha ha
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
They're coming to take me away ha ha..."
Well now I think Ann Romney has lost her mind too. She wants to assure women that Mitt "will be there for them." ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Right, he'll be there to deny you contraceptive coverage, cancer screenings and your constitutional right to abortion. The only woman on earth he has any feeling for is you, Queen Ann. Please keep your lies and deceptions to yourself. You are both power hungry and delusional.
ReplyDeleteI do find it rather telling that Mrs. Romney was apparently more concerned about her husband's well-being than she was about the potential that the people would suffer if Mitt suffered from some sort of mental or emotional breakdown -- especially given the powers that the Executive Branch potentially has, thanks to some of the legislation signed by the previous president. Unfortunately -- as is all too often the case among politicians these days -- getting in office is all about them and not about us.
ReplyDeleteThe way he moves reminds me of a lawn sprinkler.
ReplyDeleteI think he must just be tired. If he were winning, the adrenaline would carry him through. But he seems exhausted, and rightly so: he's been campaigning for 6 years.
ReplyDeleteToday, on The View, Ann Romney said Mitt was hospitalized when she tried to break up with him.
ReplyDeleteStupid ass he was in an auto accident,We all know that Crazy ass Gryphen makes up his own replies.
