Chris Matthews interviews "Game Change" director Jay Roach.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed in how much of the Palin mythology even Jay Roach buys into.

Her high poll numbers, her basketball skills, her success with the oil companies, are pretty much all bullshit, and yet even critics are simply not aware of how hard she worked to create this false image of herself.

Just think of how much MORE devastating the HBO movie would have been if they had known the REAL truth.

Oh well, I tried!

    Flying Monkeys still exist.

Check out their Dance Bristol Dance blog and an attack on Julianne Moore for winning an Emmy for "Misleading the Public about Governor Palin.'

Guess they were seat warmers at The Undefeated?

It's true. But in any business that's out to make profits, they have to be so careful not to offend the delicate sensitivities of the McCains and Palins.

It must be frustrating for Alaskans to know the real Sarah and see how the rest of the country fall for her fake small-town Superwoman reputation, fighting corruption and working for the little guy. Don't worry though, because of her pathetic need for constant national attention, she'll some day demand, even beg media to look into her sordid past, even for one morsel of attention.

Pfft! 'Sarah Palin' and 'work hard'? Even though she's her own cheer squad and truly believed the hype about herself, didn't she have A LOT of big money, big name help to create that mythological image, Uncle G?

Sarah getting tackled. Oh, this is brilliant. (And no, I'm not advocating violence against the surveyor's-mark-blood-libel-neck-punching lady.)

I'm sure Jay Roach received many counters to what he said about Sarah Palin. He obviously doesn't know the 'real' Palin that we do in Alaska!!! A great basketball player? Give me a friggin' break!
A great Wasilla mayor that left her town in huge debt...a quitter governor that knew and knows nothing about energy and on and on! "Game Change" could have been even more truthful about the 'real' Sarah Palin. There is so much more that will eventually be in print about her.

when he rattled off all of those "accomplishments" i thought -- so how did he get the movie right and still seriously misunderstand how devastatingly awful palin was as a pick for VP?

So why couldn't Sarah Palin answer a simple question of what newspapers she reads? If you watch the interview, it doesn't show that Sarah just got through speaking to a huge audience with thunderous applause. She just came down backstage from her narcissistic "high" and encountered Katie. You can see in the interview that Palin was visibly ticked, that Katie was beneath her. I mean the audience adored her, millions were watching her. She was in her element. How could this pesky reporter not bow down to her. Proof? The cunning Palin listens intently to the question, doesn't like it, plans for an answer but is instead visibly irritated so she cuts off Katie. Watch the interview and notice how they are both cutting each other off, then Palin tries to stay on script by trying to think of an answer to make her sound intelligent as Couric continues to press her. In her desperate attempt, the infamous answer comes out: All of em..any of em.

Watch the body language as Palin says she has a vast variety of sources she reads from. This is the confrontational, proud bullshiting bitch Palin as she rears back on one leg. Then the condescending Palin comes out as she shrinks to Courics height, lowers her head to Katie and raises the octave of her voice to sound cute. This is the cornered escape artist Palin. Watch Palin's body language and watch Katie's physical response when Palin gets cutesy. It's almost like Katie can't believe what this bitch is trying to pull on her as she looks over to her right.

You have it down pat. She plays cutesy to the men too. Remember that pregnacy interview as she flirted with the guy, and was cutesy pie Sarah batting her eyes...

She has a load of tricks, thousands of lies, over the years, and Bristol is playing with lies as well.

      Rotten people.

    Well, Sarah couldn't rattle off the real things she's read, you know;
"Guns and Ammo", "Where's Waldo?", "Guns and Moses", "people", "Hop on Pop", "Soldier of Fortune", and "The Immoral Minority Blog"...

I think Jay Roache knows much more than he's letting on, like someone said upthread, his job is not to offend a potential segment of consumers.
