Never judge a book by its cover.

This is just a little unexpected gift for you this Labor Day.

Beautiful voice.

What a beautiful calming voice! And the lyrics are soothing. Very talented young man.

Funny how hubby and I were just discussing that the majority of music now seems to lack those tender human elements. Would love to see a return to more James Taylors in the future. All I hear lately is Ooooom-tsha Ooooom-tsha Ooooom-tsha beat with a whiny teeny bopper voiced cellphone-texting lyric. Ugggh. More diversity PLEASE!

One can never have too much James Taylor!

I grew up in the late 60s and 70s and always gravitated towards musicians like JT, Dan Fogelberg, Carol King, Billy Joel, Chicago, etc.

Their songs had deep meanings and touched your heart in ways that much of today's music does not. However, if this young man is any indication, maybe all is not lost quite yet!

Thanks, G, for this video...it is indeed a little gift!

  2. Beautiful. What a pure and lovely voice.

I must have heard a dozen death cab covers during my last couple trips to south by southwest with my fiancé and I can truly, honestly say this guy puts them all to shame.
