Sarah Palin is famous for going after people who she believes have done her wrong, and is also known for NEVER letting go of her hatred for these people who dare damage her reputation by pointing out the truth.
So today Palin had a ghostwriter post a hateful diatribe against Joe over at the now truly defunct Andrew Bretbart's old website. (Well Breitbart himself is "defunct" anyhow.)
Essentially she discusses a new book which examines the Jeffrey MacDonald case that was at the heart of Joe's famous book "Fatal Vision," and resurrects the claim that McGinniss gained MacDonald's trust, claiming he believed that he was innocent, only to turn on him when he became convinced of his guilt. And then takes it a step further by implicating McGinniss in the perception of MacDonald's guilt, which the author believes is false.
Now I only know what I have read about the trial, and saw presented in the television movie adapted from Joe's book, so I don't have any real idea of whether MacDonald was guilty or innocent.
I did talk to Joe very briefly about it once, after it was dredged up while he was still living next to Palin, and he expressed confidence that MacDonald was indeed guilty. And that he had dealt with the man fairly.
However the reason this is worthy of a post is to, once again, illustrate just how vindictive Palin is, and to what extremes she will go to in order to injure or frighten those that dare stand up to her, or who she identifies as an enemy. (A list that WE all know is almost too long to read in one sitting.)
McGinniss, to his eternal credit, may in fact have been the one to have finally put that proverbial stake through Palin's political aspirations for all time. So of course she hates him with the white hot hate of a woman who despises men in general, and despises men who will not succumb to her "charms" even more.
Joe was not only unimpressed with Palin, he wrote a book telling the world exactly WHY she was unimpressive, and potentially dangerous.
Of course Palin lacks the talent to do her own dirty work so in this case she simply used one of Breitbart's journalistic hit-men to write a screed and then stamped it with one of her cloven hooves.
Here you tell me if this sounds like it came from the cottage cheese filled head of the Lunatic from Lake Lucille:
I don’t normally read “true crime” books, and I’ve certainly never written a review of one, but Errol Morris’ new book, “A Wilderness of Error,” isn’t typical of the genre. It’s much more interesting and I think important. It’s a book about the failings of a legal system administered by very fallible human beings, and it’s a book about how we buy into false media narratives that tidy up uncomfortably complex stories and give us permission to call off any further search for truth – and, yes, Morris argues with refreshing clarity that objective truth is real and worthy of being sought after despite the pretentious nonsense preached in faculty lounges about all truth being relative. In fact, he argues passionately that the search for truth is what journalism and justice is all about.
"Pretentious," "fallible," "isn't typical of the genre." Does any of that sound like Palin-speak to any of you? Of course not.
No this is just another example of Palin smelling blood in the water and going for the jugular like she has over and over again in the past. And essentially it reveals far more about HER than it does her intended target.
Look "Fatal Vision" was written four decades ago, and nothing that Palin or this writer say about the circumstances surrounding the case will have any significant impact on Joe McGinniss, his reputation, or his future endeavors.
However Joe's book "The Rogue" DID have a very significant and disasterous impact on a certain treacherous politician who caters to the very worst in American politics, and whose influence is STILL causing negative ramifications throughout our now fragile political system. And for that the American people owe him a great debt of gratitude.
In other words, nice try Sarah, but we still know who actually ran Wasilla while you were Mayor, that even those close to you doubt you gave birth to Trig, and that you at one time used your position as a part time sportscaster to seduce a young basketball player named Glen Rice.
And NOTHING you have ghostwritten about the author of that information will EVER erase it from our minds.
And no giving us the evil eye will not change that either.
Hey Sarah, I mock you every chance I get. You gonna come after me too? Petty bitch.
ReplyDeleteSarah's such a loser. So are her "fans", also, too, many of whom are still continuing their candlelight vigil, praying for their queen to take down this presidential election. Bunch of retards, any of them, all of them. Katie knows how stupid Sarah is, but she's too much of a coward to be interviewed without the Q's & A's in advance.
DeleteYOU DIDN'T WRITE THAT,SARAH. RAM DID.
DeleteWrite her a check and don't short her on the total this time, stingy.
RAM didn't write that either. AToo articulate for RAM.
DeleteBdull is beating "the bitch" in comments...))
DeleteEt tu, Brute?
(ugh...look it up, you ignorant trout!")
That was not Palin who penned that. When you listen to her speak, she starts a subject, then before she gets to the point she jumps around and back before she finishes. Same goes for her ignorant daughter. How this woman got so far before she was exposed is frightening.
ReplyDeleteOh to be a flunky of Sarah's and be assigned to "write" on her behalf because she didn't learn much on her way to that "Journalism Degree". Or was is a Degree in "Communications"? lol She's such a joke.
DeleteIf she even has a shingle, I'll bet Sarah got one of those Honorary Non-academic Degrees for donating some PAC money indirectly to someone in the alumni office. She certainly has never written anything herself that would earn a passing grade in freshman composition class, not at a REAL college, anyway. And as far as Communications or Public Speaking, F- in every speech. Any of 'em. All of 'em.
She's so pitiful, so bored right now because her political career is over at such a young tender age for a politician. Looks like she's going to be productive with her time in "retirement" (when she's not reading People Magazine) and try to settle old scores.
But no matter how hard she fights, she will always be a loser... and a quitter in our hearts. She's the goofball who lost 2 of her last 3 elections and also quit her last 2 jobs before her terms were up--- once an appointed term and the other, elected by the people of Alaska. She's almost as bad a public servant as she is as a horrible excuse for an adult human being.
How's that approval rating doing these days, Our Dear Sarah, since you don't have that dumb-ass, Ive Frye, and the rest of the administrative staff rigging popularity polls for you any more? Still 90% or higher? LOL Nope, and that's a FACT!
As usual, the very behaviors she's ranting about are the same she exhibits. If she did, in fact, author it which we know she didn't.
ReplyDeletePalins are famous for projecting.
DeleteJoe McGinniss has written many thoughtful, well-researched and well-written books.
ReplyDeleteIf, forty years after the fact, DNA testing that wasn't available then, casts doubt on the guilt of Jeffrey McDonald, it doesn't mean that McGinniss didn't do a thorough job as a journalist, with the evidence available to him through his own work and at the trial.
It certainly doesn't mean that his Sarah Palin book is untrue or slanted or false. That's a false equivalency, which is so often chatted about in faculty lounges everywhere.
McGinnis's book was published in late September last year; Sarah Palin took one look at it and folded her hand on October 5th.
IF he was not telling truths, she surely would have ignored the book and continued on with a possible bid for the 2012 nomination.
Something in that book scared her so much she QUIT. Does she allege now that, without his book, she could be heading the ticket against our President this fall?
If so, she did it all to herself. The reasons she quit was the evidence in McGinniss's book, as well as knowing that she couldn't keep her secrets private anymore to other inquiring journalists if she still tried to run a campaign.
More importantly, that she could never compete in the primaries and debates, even against clowns like Bachmann, Gingrich, Cain and Santorum.
If the book was full of lies, Sarah could sue him for harming her image. Obviously she didn't because she would have to prove how he lied and he didn't.
DeleteI believe that libel laws require a knowing attempt to destroy the reputation, not just damage. I think that's right. Any lawyers out there who can clarify?
DeleteActually, I wished she had sued him instead of only threatening to take him to court. If she did, she would've had to give depositions under oath which likely would have expose even more about her and her past. You can bet if she didn't know about it already, her lawyers would have made sure she did. No doubt, McGinness also learned other things about her that he didn't have enough evidence to put in his book that he could have asked her in a deposition. The reason she didn't sue him is very obvious.
DeleteI would work pro bono just to be able to depose her during Discovery. Now I would accept a fee for handling the counter-suit. Her ass would wind up in jail for perjury or she'd be paying out for a counter-suit.
DeleteShe's all bluster and hot air. Talk is all she does, and yet she does that just as poorly as she does everything else.
Leland
DeleteWhat would the 'pedophile' or molester remarks be (when she was going on about Piper's bedroom window)?
Why wouldn't he have graciously accepted her hospitality? She only threatened to poison his welcoming pie.
ReplyDeleteWhy wouldn't world leaders, especially those that 'seek to destroy us,' want to befriend the greatest country on God's green earth filled with exceptional hair school drop-outs? Sarah's gutteral instinct is to punch them in the throat. Please please please give her a 3 a.m. phone call, she needs the work, it's rill hard to drum up paying fans to these motivational seminars in Boise.
Sarah Palin is a loser. Capital "L" with the hand all up there.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell it wasn't written by Palin because nowhere in the article does she mention his tallywacker.
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks anon @1:56.
DeleteOr allege that he beats his wife or is a pedophile.
DeleteYep, no Dick, No Sarah.
DeleteI read the reviews of this book too and the author makes a big deal about the authorities cherry picking info and counters that by cherry picking info. Whatnot comes down to is that this guy wants us to believe that Jeff MacDonald is innocent because a long-dead drug addict who did acid and heroin daily SOMETiMES said she was at the scene of the murder and SOMETIMES denied being there. Yeah -- NOT convincing!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cherry-picking, that's what Glen Rice thought he had picked, until the whacked-out Ho jumped his bones, and all he found was a stem and a note saying CREEPY CHUCKY WAS HERE.
DeletePoor Tiny Tool Toddy never found the bottom of that CREVASSE (look it up, C4Pers). Luckily, Teeny Toddy is a "great handyman" (see his fence-repairs for proof), and always had some strong rope on hand and a 2" by 4" close by to keep from falling in.
McDonald was a speed freak and cheating on his wife.
DeleteHis wife's murder was right after the Tate-laBianca manson murders. Very convenient for him a "hippie on acid"... riiiiiight!
I read it and he is a sociopath like serra. If his lips are moving he is lyin'!
As for Baldy she is pathetic! Running and having beerfart publish her trash. She is trashing a book wrote in the 70's! Not a word about the book he recently wrote about her....hmmmm what does that tell you?
Call the whambulance! Waaaaaaaaa! Go attack something of his so many years ago...why?
Is something about to pop on what Joe wrote?
So she is pulling a "pre-emptive strike"!
Maybe Glen Rice writing his memoirs?
I wish she would, uh beerfart herself ----->out!
Anonymous6:06 PM
DeleteI googled Glen Rice, "2 by 4 with rope" and Sarah Heath's oversize gulch, and here is the only pic that came up:
[Note: I've never seen one that big in the photo. That is Glen Rice in the top of photo, traversing the crevasse. The AP reported Glen asked himself, "Now what the fuck have I gone and gotten myself into this time, that I can't get out without a pick, harness, anchors and pulleys? Damn, Sarah's some of those 'gnarly-looking female private parts', or what the repuglicans call them some va-jay-jays!"]

His piece on Sarah Palin and Big Oil was the first nail in her coffin before she could fool everyone else. http://www.joemcginniss.net/fyi-my-conde-nast-portfolio-piece-about-sarah-and-failed-gas-pipeline/Joe%20McGinniss
ReplyDeleteHis book only solidified her political death. It's easy to quantify all her pathological behavior and failures. You just need to think the opposite of what she says. The Undefeated, if you could stomach watching it, was a hilarious documentation to her false narrative.
Thanks for that!
DeleteYep the "hit-piece" as Tawd called it, in his high pitched voice.
"your wrote that hit piece on my wife"!
(whaaaaaaaaaa)
Yep, hit the nail on the head!
If Jeffrey MacDonald is released, it will do enormous damage to McGinniss's reputation and credentials. McGinniss stuck it to MacDonald, and if it turns out MacDonald was innocent, McGinniss's rep will suffer.
ReplyDeleteIt won't in any way salvage Palin's reputation, but it will give her something to flap her gums about. And, having read McGinniss's book, it was a pretty lame book. Thanks to Alaskan bloggers like you, I already knew all the good stuff, and Joe really didn't have much to add to the public record.
McDonald was convicted in a trial. The jury ruled him guilty, not Joe McGinnis. You must be very new to the USA and you must not have ever watched and evening of USA television programming to not know this.
DeleteAS for any other DNA, that does not mean anything except that McDonald may have had help it doesn't necessarily make him not guilty.
Congrats on moving to the USA, but you will have to study a bit before you take a citizenship test.
McGinniss reported on the accompanying events of MacDonald's trial. You yourself say he "didn't have much to add to the public record."
DeleteIn other words, he was found guilty by a jury of his peers. McGinniss couldn't have "stuck it to him." He did not have that much power.
His claim that
That's absurd. He was convicted in a court by a jury. McGinniss didn't sentence the man. The judge did. Get a life.
DeleteThanks guys!
DeleteThat's what I couldn't understand about her methfueled screed...is Joe did not "Try" him, a jury of his peers did.
Just another thing to show how fuckin clueless she is about how things are supposed to work.
MacDonald is a sociopath or psychopath. He will take every opportunity to generate publicity. This is not even close to getting him vindicated or released. I actually thought he died, maybe it was that another wife left him?
DeleteWhoever writes for Sarah did a poor job but glad to know they are still allergic to facts and reality
If we're lucky [and we haven't been, since 2008], the ghost-written blog will cross a legal line with enough libel and slander that a successful lawsuit from McGinniss may result.
ReplyDeleteRight, refreshing clarity stopped me stone cold. Amazing the things Palin will accept as her own.
ReplyDeleteSarah is just turning into a bitter old biddy. I could use other words but it's all been said and means the same thing. I was one of her biggest supporters, I'm embarrassed to say now.
DeleteShe was bitter before, and now, after wasting the opportunity of a lifetime, she's OLD and BITTER.
Hi Gryphen! It is clear to everyone on your blog that this sleazebag bitch never forgets a slight, and holds grudges long after the fact. Mr. McGinniss smacked this bitch hard in his damning expose of her shortcomings, and for that, he has our admiration and respect. Go ahead bitch, keep pushing those buttons; very soon someone close will crack and spill the beans about your under-handed dealings. Hopefully then, we will be rid of this bitch and her gang of inbred idiots once and for all!
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to her "libel suit" against Joe?
ReplyDeleteFor one thing, too little too late. At the time "The Rogue" was published, she threatened to sue. However, as a plaintiff she would have been required to prove the disputed claims in his book were not true. And all went quiet on that front. Now, of course, she's trying...yet again..to damage his reputation. Her initial attempts to do so, by calling him a pervert who looked into her child's window, could have resulted in her defending herself against a slander and libel suit. She would have lost. In her vindictiveness she's only going to draw attention, once again, to the author.....and his not unsubstantiated claims about her. Stupidity fed by hate, fueled by jealousy, kept alive by pettiness never ends well.
ReplyDeleteI used to think that her family could not control her enough to stop her idiotic rants, but now I think maybe this is their way of getting back at her. All they have to do is tell her how smart she is and how bad Obama and every other person she feuds with is, and bingo, she blurts out more nonsense. Viola, they can sit back and laugh at her and not feel her wrath, (that would be saved for the refrigerator).
DeleteIt really is about time someone who knows the dirt on her and her hillbilly family comes clean.
A scary thought: The way they talk about her in such glowing terms, the way they do her bidding, promote her agenda, etc. makes me think that they're more than a little afraid of her. If they keep her appeased, they prevent her from going off the rails. Either that or none of them want to work and the more money she makes by being unhinged, the more they enjoy it, so they'll just keep promoting her. Either way, their collective porch light has been flickering for years and is about to burn out.
DeleteSarah has been the family's meal ticket for so long, they won't know what to do if she doesn't pay them to be her human shields. None of them have any cotton-pickin' sense, anyhow.
DeleteThat family is not known for its scholars, by any stretch of the imagination.
Since she thinks DNA testing is so important to finding out the truth, why doesn't she submit her DNA and Trig's to a neutral scientific laboratory, so she can prove that he's her son? No? Well, then, she has no argument with McGinniss.
ReplyDeleteI have read everything that Joe McGinniss has ever published throughout the year and have found him to be a well-researched author.
ReplyDeleteHe proved Sarah Palin to be a liar and fraud in his book entitled "The Rogue" - Searching for the Real Sarah Palin.
But, Joe McGinniss wasn't the only author to enlighten the world about the life Sarah Palin has led as an inept business and government person along w/proving her to be quite the liar, to be very vindictive and a total fraud throughout her life.
The other books include:
"Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin" written by her Administrative Assn't (when she was quitter gov of Alaska), Frank Bailey w/Ken Morris and Jeanne Devon;
"The Lies of Sarah Palin" which is the Untold Story Behind Her Relentless Quest for Power - Geoffrey Dunn (which is my favorite of all the books written about her!);
and, "Game Change (HBO movie done under the same name - a must see!!) - John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.
And, don't forget the book "Deer in the Headlights" by Levi Johnston which reflects her to be a horrible mother and wife, to her husband, pimp Todd. Due to dating Sarah's oldest daughter, Bristol, he spent much time within their household and was privy to their goingson!
There is absolutely no doubt that a place in hell is awaiting sister Sarah!
Looks like Sarah finally got around to readi ng Joe's book, The Rogue. She's kind of "slow", like Bristle and Wallow, you know.
DeleteOT: WTF! Did MSN scoop you Gryph? Something about Tripp custody battle over. What's up?
ReplyDelete"lack of activity" on the custody case has resulted in the court dropping the case. Folks can disagree with me but I will always contend levi has been a bit player all along in the grifting of America by this family...they use him to keep themselves in the public eye when ever interest wanes....he uses them for easy money...he never had any intention of doing anything about the way that little boy has been raised, or his big/little brother for that matter...

JUNEAU -- A custody case between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston has been closed, and an attorney says the two likely will work out future differences regarding their 3-year-old son on their own.
Alaska court records show the case involving Sarah Palin's grandson Tripp was closed this month after a lack of activity.
Johnston attorney Rex Butler said Monday the best way to interpret the development is that the parties likely will resolve any problems themselves. An attorney for Bristol Palin didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
Bristol Palin and Johnston initially battled over custody. But they agreed in 2010 that Bristol would have primary physical custody and the two would share legal custody, subject to Bristol's resolution if they couldn't agree, Palin family attorney Thomas Van Flein has said. Johnston was given visitation, and he agreed to pay child support.
An automatic notice of pending dismissal was posted in July because of a lack of activity in the case.
Bristol Palin and Tripp appeared on the recent Lifetime series "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp," in which Johnston's presence in his son's life, or lack thereof, was part of the story line.
Bristol Palin and Johnston were thrust into the national spotlight in 2008 as unwed teenagers expecting a baby, when Sarah Palin was the Republican candidate for vice president. The two have had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship, including called-off engagements.
Both have gone on to write books, and Bristol Palin also has appeared on "Dancing With the Stars." Johnston recently had a baby with his girlfriend.
In a blog post Monday, Bristol Palin said that while she doesn't have "much interaction" with Johnston, she is happy for him with respect to his new daughter.
"A child is a blessing and I know they are experiencing the joys (and challenges!) of having a newborn," Bristol Palin wrote. She said Tripp sent the new baby flowers, "and we both wish all the best for her."

DeleteInteresting that Juneau put it out to the AP.
DeleteWonder if Levi's submitting paperwork (possibly, threatening to bring it all into the public forum?) had anything to do with it or another, and perhaps more likely, scenario is that it's been opened under another caption to prevent the events being made known to the public?
Bristol did allow Tripp at least one visit since Levi got some papers at the courthouse.
DeleteShe is also sending flowers and attempting to soften her image from the days of setting Tripp up for a "Levi disappointment" at the Bounce Place. She hasn't called for shooting practice with anything representing Levi. That is an improvement.
Is life better for Tripp yet? His parents don't seem to want a legitimate "best interest of the child" for him. We know how working it out on their own would go. We will have to see if Levi does get an attorney and if they intend to do right by Tripp and activate things again.
More detritus from an aging irrelevant sleasebag!! She is definitely headed for a very public psychotic breakdown. I give her 6 months before we read those headlines.
ReplyDeleteMe thinks someone is still under someone's skin and totally PISSED!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteNo wonder there has been so much extensive 'stretching & stitching & snipping' in doctors' offices!!
Amazing -- that they are talking and attempting to compare this case. Huh??
That they are talking about running DNA now in the murder case -- the FACT that DNA was not available back then but why the hell would the stunned bitch give thought to that. It was written on what was available then.
It's similar to so many that they are comparing this election to the election of Reagan and others and the mechanic comparisons -- that too is comparing oranges and apples on many levels.
Firstly - the money and lack of disclosure of same
Secondly - The technology tools available today. Hell - in Reagan's day there were no computers. In Clinton's computers existed but for business. They weren't the 'personal' toys of today. Add the FACT of Twitter, Facebook, online paper sites, blogs -- words spreads faster than you can type this message whereas everything in the 'olden days' moved at a snail's pace. You had to watch the 6 pm & 11 pm news to learn anything. Add too the fact of the iPhones and the apps available. You don't have to be home to watch a black and white screen to learn. You can be anywhere now.
Once a dumb bitch -- always a dumb bitch.
Sarah is busy trying to settle scores in order to bring down those who reported honestly about her selfish and stupid actions. Sh's dumb enough to think that she can alter her legacy the way her "fans" tried to alter wicki and every other fact-based accounting of her behavior and activities. Sarah will fail at this, too.
DeletePerhaps there would have been questions asking WHY Levi had been saddled with a double support payment, sort like paying for 2. Levi never could make ONE payment and the Judge would have questions as to why so high? We'll know, if we see Levi in some new clothes other than those Army surplus duds.
DeleteOK folks...my apologies to whomever wrote the lyrics to "If I Only Had A Brain" from the Wizard of Oz, but sing along with me!
ReplyDeleteI could be a major player
A real Democratic slayer
If I only had a brain...
But I continue to go on Hannity
To show off my insanity
Cause I just don't have a brain..
Instead of opening some big books
I've gotten by just with my looks
Cause I just don't have a brain..
I sit here stewing in my kitchen
Yelling at Trig and just a bitchen
Of all the men that I have diddled
Why I stay with Todd's a riddle
Cause I just don't have a brain..
With the thoughts I've been thinkin'
I could be another Lincoln
If I only had a brain
They say I'm just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of ugly
But it matches nicely with my snuggly
Cause I just don't have a brain..
I want to dance and be on TV
Ignorant people still worship me
Their bank accounts I can still drain
Cause they just don't have a brain!
Blue girl Liz, living in a red state..
If she had a brain she'd be less entertaining, that's for sure. Funny!!!

ReplyDeleteDon't forget - the President is on Letterman Tuesday night.
Also Mitt & Ann are on Kelly Ripa's show Tuesday morning. It's already being joked about in that the show released a snippet of Romney answering the question of what he wears to bed and he responded very little or not much. Some 'Right' pundits have already said it's TMI!!!

Ha. I noticed her shout out to the ignorant mouth-breathers, the not "smart" (thank you, Santorum) dullards, who, like Palin, sneer at and look down on smart people. Like, you know, ***faculty***. Who sit around in ***faculty lounges***!
ReplyDeleteNot like the people of the land. The common clay... You know... morons. (h/t Blazing Saddles)
Faculty lounges? She must remember those from high school. College professors have private offices, you stupid twat.
DeleteSarah is stuck in middle school in the 70's.
She must have had some fond memoreies of her "interesting" experiences in the faculty lounge with Creepy Chuckie and his (ahem) peers.
I dare her to sue Joe McGinniss...we know she won't.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't the Palins' sue Shailey Tripp? Their silence to Tripp's book is soooo telling.
To Sarah: No one gives two shits what you have to say!
FYI
ReplyDeleteRomney speaking at the Latino Chamber of Commerce today did the usual -- LIED. The usual stump speech with a few tweeks, no specifics and the usual bullshit.
In one clip I got to see, he was talking about unemployment and that the President had promised that unemployment would get down to 5.4%. He made reference to 5.4% twice -- doubling down on it hoping it sticks.
But -- that is a huge lie. Obama spoke at one time about a figure of unemployment of 8% but he never promised anything. But being that the unemployment number is so close to that 8% number, it was necessary for the Romney campaign to create their own 'facts'.
Even in the secret video at a fundraiser, which Mother Jones has up on it's site today, Romney says '8%'. The videoare from the same fundraiser that was posted on IM talking about the Chinese factory, etc. but this may be other segments of it.
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/09/secret-video-romney-private-fundraiser
The secret fundraiser video made it to the evening news tonight. Brian Williams played a part of it and then spoke to Chuck Todd.
DeleteI can't wait for Mother Jones to expose the portion Romney talks about China.
KABOOM!! Let it blow Romney up!!!
After a C4P comment posted in C4P that Sarah was such a good writer after reading her article about McGuinness. Just another illustration of the ignorance and blindness of the members of her cult.
ReplyDeleteIn case most people missed it, I wrote a comment earlier about Sarah now has a promotion company called Palin Promotions. It appears that somehow her company has something to do with the Power up Live seminar (read rip-off) she plans to be part of in Iowa. Is this promotional company just another method to diversify and look for other income sources to replace the ones who are starting to fail? The web site appears new in that there are no comments under anything they are trying to promote, which is mostly just promoting Bristol's blog and the new book her father and brother have just come out with. In addition to that, they also have listed Sarah's comment about McGinniss and several other articles in C4P.
Oh, and Palin, you simple-minded un-American dunce?
ReplyDeleteIf MacDonald is exonerated 40 years later by DNA, it doesn't mean that the 12 jurors are to be condemned, does it? You know, the ones who voted him guilty based on their best assessment of the evidence presented as part of the fulfillment of their civic duty as responsible citizens?
Because that sure is what it sounds like you're saying.
Bottom line, Duncinella, McGinniss did not send MacDonald to jail. And if MacDonald is released based on technology that wasn't available 40 years ago, it has nothing to do with McGinniss's assessment of your character, personality, flaws, and shortcomings today.
Especially since every time you open your vicious, vulgar, ignorant piehole, you validate yet another piece of his portrait of you.
Sara's just about stupid enough to believe that MacDonald was convicted by McGinniss. No, Sarah, it was YOU whom Joe's book convicted, in the court of public opinion.
DeleteThanks, Joe. (Um, I CAN call you Joe, huh?)

Hey everyone, it's another touching display of concern for women and children from Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, is she going to sue McGuinnis or not?
I'm thinking not.
Gryph -- Thank you so much for taking this on. I
ReplyDeleteam speechless. She is just so horrible.
Again, I have no words. Awful, just... well... Evil and evil and evil again. With new teeth and boobs.
Fuck you Sarah Heath Palin. Just fuck you.
Who in HELL could possibly believe that $arah Paylin wrote that article dumping on McGinnis?
ReplyDeleteIt's way too long, and obviously not written by the Queen of Word Salad with her 7th grade vocabulary of refudiation and squirmishing
And here's one from the annals of Palinbot Xenophobia
Over on the C4P review of Chuckies' fantasy spew on "Our Sarah" the book, someone is touting $arah's ancestry as being descended from the Mayflower crew.
Yet another dog whistle for white ultra right Teavangelicals, but most of us have gotten beyond that $arah.
In fact our Declaration says that all men are created equal, so why mention that your ancestors came over on some boat 400 years ago?
What does Jeessuss think about Mayflower descendants?
DO they get front row seats in heaven, free dinner with $arah, and a key to the executive bathroom?
They get a free hoagie with chips if they buy Creepy Chuckie Senior and Junior's creepy book. I wonder how that book tour is going? Probably as bad as Bristol's was. 10 books sold in 4 1/2 hrs in the largest mall in North America!
Deletelol Those grifter-losers keep reaching new lows every time they try another way to get into the pockets of their fans. Not even the PeePond losers are buying this book though.
I did some research once about early Colonists: 63 million Americans are descended from immigrants who came over in the 1600s.
DeleteSarah's ancestors were probably indentured servants, if they were there at all.
We're all descended from Adam and Eve, or maybe Lucy, or -- take your pick.
The Pilgrims would weep if they saw how the Palins and their ilk have corrupted religion.
The problem with Sara is she's been reduced to throwing spears at old targets because no one gives a shit about her political thoughts. So she'll go after Joe hoping to get some attention. I doubt Joe could care less. And she can bluster and blather about suing but she never will because she would have to testify and if she testifies and lies (she can't do anything but) then she could face perjury charges and that she can't lie herself out of. If she ever did go to court to testify I'm guessing there's a half a hundred attorney's who would work for whoever she sued pro-bono to get a shot at cross examining her - there's blood in the water if she ever gets on a witness stand. And that might also be true for Brisket. She let Levi rattle his saber and in the end probably worked something out because she no more wants to be deposed under oath than Sara.
ReplyDeleteBristol Palin, Levi Johnston Custody Case Closes In Alaska
ReplyDeleteA custody case between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston has been closed, and an attorney says the two likely will work out any future differences regarding their 3-year-old son on their own.
But they agreed in 2010 that Bristol would have primary physical custody and the two would share legal custody, subject to Bristol's resolution if they couldn't agree, then-Palin family attorney Thomas Van Flein, said at that time. Johnston was given visitation, and he agreed to pay child support.
An automatic notice of pending dismissal was posted in July because of a lack of activity in the case.

I read 'Fatal Vision' when it was first published, and if I remember correctly, when Joe started his research & had access to MacDonald, Joe either had no opinion or thought he was innocent. I can't remember which. What he promised was to be fair. You can't argue with that.
ReplyDeleteMacDonald had an excellent defense team. The prosecutors made their case, & he was found guilty by a panel of his peers.
Joe's book was based on the evidence, court records and his assessment of MacDonald's behavior.
Palin is an idiot. If Joe had written a deceptive book about Palin, she'd love him. Instead he wrote the truth, & now she hates him & will hold a grudge the rest of her life.
Who cares what you think, Sarah. You gained your 'fame' because you were a lucky opportunist. Sans a few bottom feeders, everyone sees you for what you are: a loud mouth bully and a wannabee.
McGinniss was hired by MacDonald's family to write a positive book about the doctor, when he was getting all of that bad publicity. Part of the way through the book, McGinniss realized that MacDonald probably did brutally murder his family. The jury found MacDonald guilty, too.
DeleteThe book that McGinniss wrote was a very detailed, factual book based on interviewing everybody that he could. He had access to court records, and it was very readable. That story has nothing to do with Sarah Palin. In "Fatal Vision," McGinniss was hired by MacDonald's family to write a favorable book. It didn't turn out that way. His idea about writing about Sarah was inspired by previous trips that McGinniss had made to Alaska. No one hired him to write "The Rogue."
Where in my post did I say Sarah hired him? No one here has indicated that 'Fatal Vision' has anything to do with Sarah - other than her penning her name to another's writings.
DeleteI'll preface this to say that it's been decades since I read the book, which I read twice; but I don't recall the MacDonald family hiring Joe. I could be wrong, but I thought they were happy when Joe approached them. MacDonald thought he had Joe 'snowed', but Joe's not stupid. His promise, I am certain, is that he'd be fair and accurate.
Don't bother to reply.
Egads she is an ignorant generalizing bitch, isn't she? For one, she would never know what happens in a faculty lounge as she's never been near enough at her five or six community colleges - not that most campuses even have faculty lounges anymore (gee, your age is really showing, $carah.) And those campuses have a great diversity of opinion on a continuum from hardcore objectivists (of the philosophical, not the pseudo-philosophical Randian, type) all the way through to some postmodernists, and much in between.
ReplyDeleteRepublican morons.
ReplyDeleteThe wife of Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) is comparing Republicans who are trying to force her husband out of the Missouri Senate race over his “legitimate rape” comment to British soldiers who raped the daughters and wives of American colonists in 1776.

So The Quitter wrote a BOOK REVIEW?
ReplyDeleteBwahahah
Stephen k Bannon runs Breitbart now. How convenient for Palin.
DeleteThis was an idiotic move on Palin's part whatever the outcome or whatever the reason.
I can't link but if you feel like it, go to YouTube and look at the old clip of Dick Cavett interviewing McDonald.
Sara's never read a non-fiction book, unless you count National Enquirer or Star Magazine. She reads those to see if they spelled her name correctly when they write about her pimp husband and Sarah's affairs with his former business partners.
DeleteHer limited speaking vocabulary betrays these ghostwritten pieces she passes off as her intellectual work. Just another con-job by the queen of cons--- Only fools are fooled by her ruse.
Sarah is simply a fraud and a poseur, nothing more.
Sarah would rather bring back an old grudge and say something nasty about Joe McGinness-- than put on her beautiful Jewish star and wish her Jewish friends Happy New Year. Sorry, Sarah, you missed your chance. Twenty four hours of the New Year have passed without a religious sentiment from you. Anger is your only emotion.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of books, I can hardly WAIT to see how fast "Our Sarah" ends up in the Dollar Store. Creepy Chuck and Mini-Me on Hannity and F&F next Monday and Tuesday. BLECCH!
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin just wants Joe McGinniss's Big Stick.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin just wants Joe McGinniss's Big Stick and Obama's Big Stick too.
DeleteThat Todd should just go get his penile implant so that he can satisfy Sarah's Big Stick fetishes and maybe she'll clean her filthy perverted mouth?
Yoo Hoo look at me, I'm still in Alaska!
ReplyDeleteJoe set out to write a book that would prove MacDonald's innocence, but once he got to know him, he couldn't do that. THAT is why he was sued and instead of fighting, he settled. Yes, he was hired to write a book that would be favorable, but he could not, in good conscience, do so. That is an honorable man, IMO.
ReplyDeleteWhen is ms. full of spite and hate going to go after that girl in the 2nd grade that did her wrong? What about that bell-hop in NY who said something about her not tipping. When is she going to write about that student who guessed her password and who went to prison for 1 year - what is she saving for him when he gets out? Gawd I've never seen such a public American celebrity live off of hate hate hate 24/7 - except for maybe pastor Terry Jones.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin has a long list of enemies that ruined her chances of ever becoming the Empress of These United States of Alaska.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Todd is on Sarah's list for being a pimp that looks at women's nipples through peep holes and having a book written about him and his prostitute lover Shailey Tripp?
Is Track on Sarah's list for all his juvenile antics that showed that Sarah was a good for nothing mother?
How about Christian Bristol aka The Chin? She must of made Sarah's Top Ten List for being the town Underage Pregnant Underage Hoe who got laid in a canvas tent drinking wine coolers while her friends listened to her sexual moans all night? Being with Levi, Ben, Kyle and Gino in a very short period probably didn't help endear Bristol to Sarah either?
Then there is Wild Child Willow, the leader of the Colony Girls Gang who was asked to stay home in her Junior year of high school and never went back. Willow must of ranked high on the loser vp's enemy list for embarrassing Sarah when she was vacationing in Hawaii and had to suddenly return home because her 3AM phone call said that Willow was caught breaking and entering? Willow may be trying to work back into the good graces of Sarah by being the first Palin child to receive a PHD from the infamous Arizona Hair School For Wayward Children?
Can't forget Not So Cute Anymore Piper Diaper. This is the obnoxious little diva who did not go to school for quite a while during the 2008 campaign and did not know her basic math. All those video clips of Piper pushing adults and having that shitty frowny face must of put Piper on Sarah's shitty list as well?
This man was almost vice president and Sarah can't even control her own kids. What was Alaska thinking when they elected her as their governor? What was Wasilla thinking when they hired Sarah as their mayor who eventually had to hire a town manager to run Wasilla?
DeleteShe is such a creepy, vindictive evil woman. She cheapens the deaths of Colette MaDonald, her children and her unborn baby, who were brutally murdered by Jeff MacDonald. I read the book, saw the movie, saw the crime scene photos. She will use any circumstance to promote her revenge. She is an awful, awful woman.
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth does this woman do all day? Google stuff on people she hates for an opportunity for revenge? OF COURSE! That's the Witch of Wasilla through & through.
ReplyDeleteI sincerely doubt she ever heard of the Jeffrey McDonald case before someone pointed it out to her. So, sure she googles it to catch up. She even admitted once that she had Bristol google something about economics for her before giving a speech (about economics!)
DeleteAnd as for some of her snide remarks, I don't think she comes up with them either. She made a remark about Dick Cheney never 'misfiring.' I really doubt she had ever heard of that episode until someone pointed it out to her.
nice
ReplyDeleteIt's been 30 years since I read "Fatal Vision", in my 20's, but even then I thought some of the things put in it were unfair. Mind you, I think the doctor was guilty (and I even agree with the theory McGinnis advanced that he was wired up with stimulants and cracked), but there were a few cheap shots. One that stands out in my mind all these years was a passage where he's describing a dream he had the night before to Jeff at breakfast. When he's done, Jeff just turns back to the paper and makes some comment about current events. This was apparently supposed to make the reader think that he was cold and unfeeling about the murder of his wife and kids. I think it just means he didn't feel like talking to McGinnis about at that point about his whacko dreams.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, I read "Going Rouge" and thought it was a little skimpy. Kinda seemed more like a "how I spent my summer vacation" type of thing, with a few snippets of real info. Says more for the subject than the writer tho; we already knew a lot about Sarah so not many surprises to any longtime Gryphen reader.
Reading about her now, I think to myself, {Palin who?} and then I take a deep breath and smile a bit. Good things do come to those who wait.
ReplyDeleteNo way did Sarah Palin write that screed in Breitbart. She may have added a line or two. Would the 3 year old pay attention to the words attributed to her?
ReplyDelete"Morris describes how false narratives can become a sort of prison." Sarah Palin @ Breitbart
She lays MacDonald's guilt in the public eye onto her old neighbor Joe McGinniss. Not so much the jury of his peers that convicted him. This is also written more as if the guilty verdict was overturned and with total certainty as if MacDonald is innocent. Government and Joe McGinniss are bad. Yet she switches around and overstates that she doesn't know if he is innocent or not. Whackadoodle Palin is at it again. By the end it was all about her neighbor, Joe, who was stalking her and how sick and vicious he was in her own town, shattering relationships, lying and everything Sarah would want said to revise history and deflect from fact. I thought the Palins packed up and went to Dillingham or someplace while Joe was next door? i recall something about her garden and she wanted to poison his pie or something.
When the speed or diet pills are mentioned this is what she has injected: (Oddly enough, the millions of other people who were also taking those same diet pills somehow avoided murdering their families.)
Yes, a life built on false narrative is a prison for Sarah Palin.
