McCain will stand at the podium until he dies, trying to be the statesman he never had the integrity to become. He was a POW, and that must've been a horrible experience, but he has leveraged that experience, along with his legacy benefits of having had a father and grandfather who served honorably as Admirals in the Navy, into a life of power and luxury, courtesy of the taxpayers. Without John's father's influence, he would have washed out of the service much earlier than he did, instead of receiving accelerated promotions to a point where he was useless, having been carried along as dead weight because of his family pedigree way too long.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama's office has said no to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request for a meeting later this month, an apparent snub that follows the Israeli leader's strong criticism against the US for refusing to set clear "red lines" on Iran's nuclear progress.
Netanyahu's office had requested a meeting with the US president during the UN General Assembly meeting in New York later this month.
The Reuters wire news service quoted an unnamed Israeli official as saying that the White House had refused Netanyahu's request to meet Obama when the Israeli leader visits the United States to attend the UN General Assembly.
"The president's schedule will not permit that", the White House told the Israelis, according to the Reuters.
But a White House statement denied that Netanyahu had requested for a meeting.
"Contrary to reports in the press, there was never a request for Prime Minister Netanyahu to meet with President Obama in Washington, nor was a request for a meeting ever denied," the statement said.
The US and Israeli ties have been under some strain, more so after Netanyahu on Tuesday lashed at the US for not toeing the Israeli line on a possible military strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.
Netanyahu's harsh public comments laid bare the tension between him and President Obama over how to handle Iran.
"Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don't have a moral right to place a red light before Israel," Netanyahu said.
"The world tells Israel 'wait, there's still time'. And I say, 'Wait for what? Wait until when?'" Netanyahu said.
But according to the White House statement the two leaders spoke at length Tuesday night when Obama called Netanyahu to calm the situation.
The two talked for a full hour, hashing through the Iran confrontation and their misunderstandings.
"President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu reaffirmed that they are united in their determination to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and agreed to continue their close consultations going forward," the White House said in the statement.
“This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.

But, when researched, non of the professors recalled her being in their classes (in the various schools/colleges). I don't think she has one! DeleteLast night I decide to check in on Faux News to see how they were reporting on the sad news in Libya. Hannity was on and I was shocked to say the least. His first guest was Coulter wearing a shiny camisole, it was so inappropriate to the point of ridiculousness. After watching that segment I now see why it is no big deal for Faux News to have Sarah on with her crazy rantings. They all seem to be unhinged, which I knew, but watching it was unbelievable! I really don't know how any person that's not mentally diminished could watch such a show. Hannity and the rest are the most sick and twisted people I have ever seen.

And yet, these shows are splattered on American TV consistently, along with atrocities such as Jerry Springer, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, 'Housewives', World-Wide Wrestling, 'reality' shows, NASCAR, endless sports, et al. This is MINDLESS 'entertainment' or eye candy that simply appeals to one's emotions and ego. It's called distraction or bread and circuses.
However, I truly wish Fox News continues to put 'The Freak' on because she will only strengthen the re-election of President Obama. Why? Because most Americans are appalled her remarks and now feel they have no other choice other than vote for Obama. The Republicans have done this to themselves.
