And then there's this.
And you know the interesting thing about this is that it was done BEFORE the Bill Clinton or the President gave their speeches.
Like I said, things are certainly looking good.
And no I am NOT getting cocky. Not by a long shot.
(H/T to The New Civil Rights Movement.)
P.S. While I'm posting images, and speaking of Bill Clinton, I thought you guys would like this one as well.
It's good to see that the American People once again do not agree with Sarah Palin who proclaimed the Democratic Convention a failure.
ReplyDeleteAs of yesterday, I read that Obama has had a seven point bounce since the convention. Mitt has had no bounce, but I think interest in Clint Eastwood movies has picked up.
Americans are fired up and ready to go to the polls. Because the only poll that really counts is the one on election day. Everyone needs to ensure that all in their circle of family and friends are registered to vote and go to the polls on election day. My youngest son just turned 18 and he is going down to register to vote. He watched some of the covention and went from being totally apathetic to ready to participate and have his voice heard. He really loved Bill Clinton taking it to the Republicans as only Bill Clinton can.
As a side note, I have watched every Republican and Democratic Convention since my parents made us watch as children (the first conventions I watched were in 1960). I have never seen the Democrats as united as they are today. They stand together whereas the Republicans have some definite cracks in their unity.
GO DEMS, GO OBAMA, GO DEMOCRATIC HOUSE AND SENATE CANDIDATES.
I agree and I think that the Republicans realize that there was not even a glimmer of the enthusiasm that filled the Democratic Convention in Charlotte in their Tampa meeting. And I don't think it was the hurricane that tamped down the fire; it was the backward-looking emptiness of what was on offer.
DeleteYou are right: go Obama/Biden and Democrats on tickets at all levels. Vote a straight Democratic ticket in 2012!

And that’s why Hillary still loves him… one of the reasons, anyway.
ReplyDeleteExcellent cartoon.
I love that comic. The donkey is in the jeep, giving the thumbs up. ....LOL
ReplyDeleteObama/Biden...2012! Let's make it happen folks, makes sure every Dem you know is registered and ready.
I wish places with a high traffic volume, like HP, would post those graphs. But HP does not usually post things that are pro-Dem.

I admired everything done during the Democratic Convention. So many of the speeches were outstanding and I loved President Clinton!!! He DID explain things beautifully. That speech should be run time and time again throughout the rest of the campaign. Plus, I love President and Mrs. Obama!!!

The president’s bounce began the night after Bill Clinton spoke to the convention and received rave reviews. Sixty-six percent (66%) of voters nationwide have a favorable opinion of the former president.

Romney campaign admits it: they're losing
ReplyDeleteWhen the GOP main case is that the 'foreigner' Obama doesn't understand America or its values, yet the president gets higher marks than Romney on those matters, perhaps you've just flushed $150 million down the crapper.

As good as "the bounce" after the convention has been, just wait for the bounce after the debates. That's what I can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteWhat cracked me up was the news ticker on msnbc, it said that Romney agreed with Bill Clinton's speech although there were blistering attacks against Mitten's campaign and policies.
Bills speech was THAT good!
