According to our sources, Johnston and girlfriend Sunny Oglesby exchanged vows in front of more than 100 friends and family. But according to our sources ... Tripp, the son he shares with Bristol Palin, was not in attendance.
Well I think this calls for a congratulations to the happy couple from our IM community. Good luck Levi and Sunny, knowing the Palins as we do you are going to need it.
I think it is very telling that Tripp was not in attendance. Which means to me that the temporary truce that Levi and Bristol had in place during her DWTS gig, may have come to an abrupt end.
And now of course with a new baby in the house, and being newly married, Levi will have limited resources to fight Bristol in court. Which of course would be exactly what she is counting on.
The TMZ article goes on to point out that the invitation has "families" misspelled, which is unfortunate because of course it feeds into the ignorance meme about people who live in Wasilla, and the Johnston and Palin families in particular. I am sure there are a number of tabloids that will have a great deal of fun with that tidbit.
(P.S. Since that is not he only mistake in the invitation it IS possible that they were not professionally made.)

DeleteThey can send the invites out by Morris code or scribbled on a napkin for all I care. WHAT MATTERS IS THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. If they have to hide that and conceal records, now that would be a problem. As well, I am thinking it would be nice if the new baby has a legitimate birth certificate.

If you marry or have babies in Alaska be up front with documenting. The invitation is a keepsake, it is not the first time mistake were made on an invitation.
I can assure you they were not professionally made. No graphics professional would use that many typefaces -- or those particular ones -- on a wedding invitation.

Like Sally Heath, Britta has the spiritual covered for the union since she is the daughter of a Pastor of some sort. Not unusual for those young girls to get knocked up and force a marriage. Lordy, who would want to have a public record of that? Isn't it enough the LSM had to publish a photo of whatever happened on that mountain with the Track and Britta debacle? DeleteFrom what I understand to this point in time, NEITHER the Hansons nor the Palins care enough about the baby girl they claim is Track's to have any legitimate public documentation on the birth or the marriage. They love dark clouds lurking over their young. Things like legitimate and accurate licenses, certificates would clear matters up and benefit young lives. The Hansons and the Palins won't have that. They rather a child start off in life surrounded by the misery of concealing and cover ups. That way they can give gossip the upper hand and FU to that Palin baby, whoever she is. The Hansons and Palins have their way to screw up a kids life. And they will all do it with a big fake smile on their faces. No one will know anything honest or legit about the offspring of Hanson/Palin. The kid is cursed that way.
By all obvious appearances Track has very special privileges and lies are a way of life. He does the act about wanting privacy. That is how the criminals do it. Infact, Track Palin would never be deployed for a year. He may be at a ski resort guarding an officers pet guinea pig but it is so hard on him that he returns to his beloved dead lake area with all the illiterate fools that make him feel comfortable about every 3 months. Poor Track has it so rough he had to learn how real troops do it by going onto the set of a fake TV reality show failure. But he knows how to act like a combat vet now. His parents are proud of his acting skills.
I heard track's baby ran half marathon and came in second.

I'm sorry, but given her past behavior and words, I just can't give her the benefit of the doubt that she wasn't being a dick about it.
Life events, like births and weddings, are significant. This one is part of American history. Whether Sunny, Track or any of them like it or not they are front and center in the family value politics. It does have meaning in the world and national arena. The Palins have been selling a brand of happy, normal family life and traditional marriage since they came on the scene. Levi Johnston was basically kidnapped for political purposes but he and his are now super glued to it all for eternity. Birth, marriage not even death will change the bond.
DeleteThe most pain and anguish is on the children. Tripp is the central player thanks to how the Palins and his mother handle their affairs. What happens to the stars of even failed television shows is a forever interest. Now Tripp will play the happy child with happy family that doesn't care about the birth of sibling except to do an obligatory flower sending. Tripp will play the good mommy boy who does not care to be with father for very important life time event. He is just too happy and loving his mother too much. What a role he has in life.
For some reason Tripp's hijacker blocked him (if Tripp was wanted to be with the Johnston family for birth and wedding) he won't feel the impact for years to come. Unfortunately, the boy is at the mercy of one without mercy.
When Tripp turns 18 and is allowed to see his dad and step mom whenever he wants, he's going to see the pics without him and ask his mom why she would do that to him. My nephew didn't talk to his mother for years after she kept him from our family. He wouldn't even let her see his kids and wife.

Jesus God, it's the "Alaskans are all Frontier People that don't do things like they do down South" Troll. Dude, we go to the courthouse, get the marriage license and sign it, in front of a notary, just like they do everywhere else. There is a "lay preacher" allowance up here and any person can apply and be a lay preacher to officiate a marriage. Each person is allowed to do this once, but we still have to garner the marriage certificate and sign it regardless of who officiates. Also, there is no "common law" statute on the books in AK, so you can't just shack up for x number of years and have it become official when the common law statute becomes active. I'm pretty certain that these two would have wanted to file a license with the state and make if official since a small child is involved.

DeleteI had no idea that in Alaska you can seal marriage and birth records. The Johnstons may be in the sunlight but Track and Britta Hanson are in the pit of darkness without official public records. If some in Alaska can hide records and others not it makes all records diminished. I would think the state would want a better system.
Alaska is seen through the eyes of the Palins. That may not be popular but it happened. We would all like to see the people take back their state. How can that ever happen?

DeleteAlaskan, and Wasillans in particular are just happy that the Palins no longer reside here in Alaska! The tough "Frontier Family" have become snowbirds and we couldn't be happier! It is very sad for Levi that his son lives out of state, but he has a beautiful new wife and baby girl and Tripp will have to seek his father out when he is old enough to act without his Mother as it seems that she will withhold this child from his father as long as she can.

My son had a music teacher when he went to Kindermusic, I don't think she was a certified public school teacher. But she was still his teacher. Easier to say than instructor for the little ones.

With a new baby and all the Inside Edition interviews and wedding plans, Levi would not have had time to spend quality time with Tripp. Tripp is used to Levi entertaining him 100% of the time when he is with Levi. After the honeymoon, then Levi should get serious about visitation rights. I hope Inside Edition paid for the wedding.

Britta wanted both sets of parents there for the baby announcement. She was already in her second trimester and had put off telling them only because she was scared of Sarah's reaction.
She brought her mother a mother's day bouquet. When she and Track shared their news, there was no warm congratulations from Sarah- only immediate hysteria and "how could you two DO THIS TO ME???"
She grabbed Elizabeth Hansen's gift of flowers and literally ripped it apart, instructing Britta to hold her "bridal bouquet" squarely in front of her protruding belly. She then thrust a scrap of bouquet at poor Mrs. Hansen and kept the rest for herself.
The icing on this Crazy Cake- after the photo, Sarah says "ok, you're married? Ok, anyone asks- YOU'RE MAARRIED". Then she tells the Hansens "as governor I can perform marriages. So it's like a real marriage."
Of course nobody bought it- least of all Track. Sarah sold the iPhone taken photo to People magazine and of course kept the money.
This shenanigan by Sarah is the main reason why the best "compliment" Elizabeth Hansen could come up with when asked what the Palins were like as in laws after the birth of her grandchild was "they're a different sort of people". That's pastors-wife-ian for "that bitch be cray-ZAY".
I think Sarah really did believe she could bribe, cajole, or force T&B to have that big ski lodge wedding she promised the public. But Britta has seen what there is to see of the Palin machine and thankfully decided NOT to marry into that mess of psychosis and tornado of greed.
Naturally mama gristle is piiiiissed- which is why you NEVER hear her mention Britta nor little Kyla Grace.
I am still hoping Gryphen or Malia will do a "no marriage license" exposé! I know in the grand scheme of things this is the bottom rung of Palin's evil deeds but it still ticks me off- as I have said before. . .can you IMAGINE Britta up there on that mountain, thinking she is going to be making the most exciting announcement of her life- and then immediately after she shares her joy, Sarah craps on it and rips the mother's day bouquet to literal shreds?

Now, according to a SOA website, Marriage Certificates and Divorce proceedings are kept private for 50 years. Gryphen, maybe you were right when you said..."the Palins are getting divorced." With the laws in Alaska, there is no way to prove anything.
Back to the subject of this post: You people should visit the "Settlers Bay Lodge" website. What a classy place! In the back, they have a special place for weddings. It is a setting with an overhead trimmed in flowers. I wonder why Levi and Sunny didn't have pictures taken there. Just beautiful.
