Tonight Maher will have Ann Coulter, Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer, Ben Affleck, Sheila Bair, and Congressional asshole Darrell Issa on his show.
I cannot imagine how this WON'T be extremely entertaining!
For those who don't have access to HBO you can watch the program here, but probably not until after its initial broadcast.
For anybody else who might be watching tonight and wants to leave comments feel free, and I will add mine if anything good takes place. (Though keep in mind I am on Alaska time, so more than likely several hours behind most of you.)
Now if you will excuse me I have to go fire up my popcorn maker again.
Just thinking about Issa and Coulter makes me want to crack a quart of Jack. You should have a Friday night open thread for surly drunks.
ReplyDeleteI think I just did that.

Have a shot for me!
I'll play...I'm getting my drunk on....and Coulter is an idiot and until Palin came on the scene, I thought the biggest right wing idiot. I stand corrected.
DeleteCrystalwolflady, that's scary stuff!
DeleteBut the comment section is even crazier!
The breit bots are out in full force.
Anita,
Deletethe paid bots are everywhere! I can't stand to read the comments anywhere for the most part shrieking zombie fox news talking points!
There are some really sick people out there and its not US "Libs"!

ReplyDeleteJUNEAU, Alaska -- The Alaska Supreme Court has upheld a lower court decision that does not forbid use of private email accounts for state officials conducting state business.
The case stemmed from emails sent during then-Gov. Sarah Palin's administration. Palin and members of her administration used private emails to conduct state business. Activist Andree McLeod submitted a records request for all emails sent to or from the private accounts of Palin and her husband, and also sued, seeking to have each email declared a public record.
The lower court interpreted public records as state agency records preserved or appropriate for preservation under the records management act.
The high court agreed, saying not every record a state employee creates is appropriate for preservation under the act.

ReplyDeleteAnn Coulter claims she went off with a biker? hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a piece of work she is.
That was a metaphor, but yes she is a piece of work.
DeleteA piece of something.
DeleteMaher was way too easy on Ann Coulter. To call her a bigot is way too complimentary. And not a word to her about the crap she had said previously about he and Lawrence O'Donnell dating black chicks. The show was great, thanks to Ben Affleck and Gov Brian Schweitzer.
DeleteLOVE Schweitzer! Has degrees in agronomy and soil science; worked on irrigation and development projects in Africa, Libya, Saudi Arabia; speaks Arabic.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Sarah Palin, he's super smart and works hard for the people of his state, Montana. Really DOES hunt. Developed wind power in Montana, passed an Indian Education act, greatly increased the number of students who are graduating from college.

White man (small dick-shaved head-no balls) Romney Ryan sticker on a tshirt that says "PUT THE WHITE BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE"
Maybe he's a Walter White fan?
DeleteNah, probably just another racist asshole attracted like a fly to shit to Malarkey/Ryan.
What's really sad is that pic is for sale.
DeleteOkay Darrell Issa is a HUGE asshole!
ReplyDeleteI actually already knew that, but damn!
I watched the show alone, but STILL turned around as if there was a gang watching with me, to ask:
DeleteDID YOU SEE THAT? Issa is complaining about how Biden interrupted so much at last night's debate, and he did the same freaking thing, AS HE WAS CONDEMNING IT!
He also came off like a commercial for Red Bull drink...sheesh, what a blowhard.
Oh hell, Maher is going after Sarah Palin over her fitness book.
ReplyDeleteEven mentioned the two Chucks.
Good stuff!
Bill Maher: "Romney says we shouldn't borrow money from China. We are borrowing money from China to fight China!"
ReplyDeleteAs expected, Coultor is still a bozo... But Issa REALLY IS AN ASS. I used to do business right across the office park from his company and the people that ran the companies close to him hated his guts.
ReplyDeleteOn his Facebook page, Maher mocked Lohan, by saying something to do with her ankle bracelet, which he got to use before I could, but try THIS:
ReplyDeleteFormer crazy person, now turned political activist Lindsay Lohan, is at a loss as to why no one is taking up on her offer to drive them to the polls on election day.
(rimshot)
Love how Ben shut down Issa not just once, but several times with very precise come backs such as "Like the memo Bin Laden determined to attack U.S." when Issa was blustering about Bengazi and trying to blame the Obama Administration for the incident.
ReplyDeleteO/T bult relevant to discussions earlier this week:
ReplyDeleteI'm hesitant to leave this because some will want to paint all of those with spiritual beliefs or religious faiths in the same shade as the extremists. Bigotry has no place in a civilized world. But G has a good forum where differing opinions are discussed intelligently by mature adults, despite the oddball troll or two that come in and try to be divisive. We all don't have to agree to share many common goals. Thanks G for fostering a respectful environment here.
