Chris Christie on SNL last night. No, I mean the REAL Chris Christie.

Not bad, He delivered his lines well, was self-effacing, and did not embarrass himself or his constituents.

With this appearance it looks like we can DEFINITELY put Christie in the binder full of Republicans running for president in 2016.

But hopefully this won't discourage Sarah Palin. I mean how hard would it be to out debate Chris Christie? (Oh please, oh please, oh please!)

    Christie - Palin debate!!

That's something I'd pay to see. That would be worth the ticket price to see Streisand!!!

I'd offer a suggestion to people to see it -- wear Depends!!! You'd need them!! You'd be paralyzed in your seats watching and laughing so hard -- you just would not make it to the washrooms!!!

I think that Palin has too many skeletons in her closet; and Jersey-boy Christie, would lose NO sleep unleashing ALL of them!

O/T - How absolutely delicious (snark) to read the following:

"Trump Steak House In Las Vegas Shut Down After 50+ Health Violations"

To him it's small but just knowing he got busted brings a smile

    http://www.thebraiser.com/djt-health-violations/

How long before this hotel files bankruptcy?? That's his favorite game. He'll then say 'he' has never filed -- it's always the business and someone else's fault. Typical Rethug - never taking responsibility. Who will he blame -- again, blame someone else

I love it! I never liked the Donald, but he's truly a vile human being with no shame. His Taj Mahal casino is under the conservatorship of it's shareholders and he's been banned from any decision making.

Not to hijack your comment, but it reminded me- please sign and share on facebook, twitter, e-mail and smoke signals-

Don't be fooled by this bully. Can you imagine a POTUS barking at journalists and private citizens?

But he'd eat Sarah Palin for a sinewy, dissatisfying snack.

Christie does not possess the temperment to be POTUS. He may be smart in some ways but there is no way he could be in negotiations for anything. To think that the Thug would be in any negotiations with a foreign leader -- he thinks he could 'bully' them to what he wants. The 'voting' people won't stand for it and would not vote for him for that being one reason.

He wouldn't get that far in that it would be fun for a debate with Palin but he would lose his cool easily in the primary debates and wouldn't make it to the general.

He did very well, especially for a politician. Probably the only funnier SNL appearance by a politician was John McCain as a stoned-out art teacher who led his class in pumpkin carving, coming up with Steely Dan-o-Lanterns, pumpkins carved in the profiles of the founders of the 70's iconic rock group.

The echo chamber will continue to blame him for Hurricane Sandy, so I'm not sure he will be a candidate (sort of like Jon Huntsman, the only sane GOP primary candidate, who never lit a fire with the crowds in 2012 and finished dead last).

The only way that Christie has a shot in 2016 is if the GOP realizes they lost not because of Romney or because of the stupid voters wanting free stuff, but because people aren't buying what they have to sell.

Christie will make the primaries much more fun to watch. But he'll never get the nomination -- he is a massive heart attack waiting to happen and people will demnad his medical records. He is also too much of a hothead like McCain and examples of that are already plentiful. But it will be fun to watch him in debates.

    1. If he lives that long!

Picture it: a Christie/Jeb *The Smarter Brother" Bush ticket. If Jeb's expanding girth continues, he'll be as big as Christie by then. Fat jokes will take center stage (which will have to be reinforced!) and we'll have yet another Rethug circus.

The clown car will become a bus!

Every time I see him, I feel sorry for the State Trooper's Heelycopters. The wear and tear they're getting is brutal and costing big bucks in taxpayer money to maintain.

Maybe Obama should appoint Christie to be Director of the CIA??? LOL

he was too obviously reading from a screen, but he did that well enough.
He went with the character they wrote for him, so, good sport. He came off as a decent guy, so (see last sentence) ...
If SNL can make Bob Dole and John McCain look like fun guys, Christie is easy. Sarah Palin was a failure, though.
Speaking of, where's W? He's easily more workable than Romney. God I hope they don't try Romney.

he didn't want her campaigning for him when he ran for governor. dumfuk, sarah called Christie "naive" I believe the nj governor possesses the memory of an elephant and if she thinks he's forgotten the slights she's lobbed at him she's sorely mistaken. he will crush her like the filthy cockroach she is...she's still so fucking stupid she thinks she can run with the big dogs. In reality she's nothing more than an irritating, yapping, ankle biting little bitch of a dog...

  11. I think at this point Christie is thinking about re-election as governor. I think it comes up in two years. I also think he is well aware of his health issues and the effect of a national campaign.

I think Palin is well worth laughing at for the foreseeable future as she bumbles around like a bug-sprayed cockroach, trying to elbow others away from the lights! the cameras! the microphones! to tell Mr. DeMille that she is ready for her closeup.

However, I will not be suggesting even as joke material that she will be in any debates with anyone. She is politically done, washed up, yesterday's news. She will never debate anyone else again and that is what I prefer to point and laugh at her about. I also think it is beneath the dignity of any office holder, no matter what I feel about their political views, to suggest that at any time they should have to stoop so low as to participate in a farcical debate with that brainless, avaricious, simpleton.

Articles such as the one in the LA Times go right over her narcissistic head. All she sees is that she is still being discussed as a candidate and that will fuel another stupid rant from her.

C’mon Gryphen! The majority of people in this country made it clear the dumb and dumber “jus’ like us!” “breath of fresh air!” candidate is no longer acceptable and is actually quite offensive. Palin also made the U.S. the laughing stock of the world. Despite whatever her base (whomever and wherever) nobody wants to see us derided that way ever again. Unlike a lot of U.S. citizens there are a lot of intelligent people in other countries who saw our collective IQ plunge when she was running for VP. I traveled abroad last year and heard continually negative things about her. Also, one of the main comments was amazement she attended five colleges! That is pretty unheard of elsewhere. People often go to new schools when graduate students, but not undergrads. At a couple of the schools she attended you just had to breathe on a mirror to be admitted. I don’t fault her there, some kids are simply not ready for college and don’t properly prepare in high school, but Palin kept seeking low requirement colleges. This has not gone unnoticed and may be indicative of her abilities. Curiously, she often mentions her good grades in high school. So, if she was such a great student why did she not take advantage of the many scholarships available to Alaska students? There are a great many fantastic schools that seek Alaska students. Something is not adding up in the Sarah Palin profile. There are many kids in the Valley who graduated from very well-known and academically rigorous colleges during the years she would have been in college.

  15. I watched this last night and I was surprised how funny Chris Christie was...I was expecting Bobby Moniyhan to play him! I loved how he talked about his fleece jacket probably smells! Christie is so happy that he finally got to talk to Springsteen and now his fat ass was on SNL! He may just go on a diet! LOL!!!

And then I remembered back when Baldy's obvious drugged up ass was on there...and she was doing that mouth balled up thing and attempting to bob to the music except the drugs had her off beat!

No way will Baldy get close to debating Christie or anyone political! She's a whore and not a political whore...a famewhore...just look at that stupid piece one of her brain dead "fans" posted about her stupid ass...she needs money for BaldyPac. I'm just glad that she's no longer appearing on FAKE News...and if she does show up there...her appearance is going to be so shocking..whatever is falling out of her herpes infected mouth won't matter because she's going to look like CORSPE! LOL!!!

  17. Christie/Palin debate? I imagine Mr. Christie will do what most others have, and just ignore the existence of the flapping, yelping thing-in-a-wig that seems to blow in to view from time to time.

Since they haven't heard from "Captain Kirk," they are now seeking (cough) wisdom (cough)from "Spock" Creepy Chuck Jr. in how to proceed.

What a bunch of ignorant FOOLS.

Speaking of Bristol, not to be outdone by Levi's facebook post, after hours and hours of pondering, thinking, writing, rewriting, checking the dictionary, consulting with Mommy on Skype and rewriting her draft, she managed to put up a new post.

In my best "Guido Sarducci" voice-

    "Fun With Fam"

That's it. "Fun with Fam" - really putting that GED to good use since Nancy bolted bwahahahaaaa deep, cleansing breath, sip of Bartles &James, HA!!

-followed by two grainy pictures taken by a cheap camera phone of Tripp, Trig (version 2.10)and Beefy making a goofy face.

    What a fam!

One of the five comments is just precious!

    (paraphrased from memory)
"Better watch out Bristol, those boys may find some ways to getcha, I can think of a few pranks myself, boys will be boys!"

    ------------------------------------

New Jersey's Governor did a decent job! Yeah, he's got the cajones to go on SNL (though they've been on milk cartons for awhile, he hasn't seen them in years!) and jockey for position for the next election.

The sympathy handshake from "Brooooce" boosted his ego and creds, but if I lived in New Jersey and saw my Governor having fun while I paid my taxes and am still suffering, I don't think I'd be that amused. A friend of my family lives in North Jersey and still hasn't gotten electricity and drinking water. I'm sure others are worse off and seeing this in the ambiance of a FEMA shelter wouldn't have the same effect it has on everyone else.

But he's trying his best, I suppose.
