Feel good image of the day.

If you are feeling a little down with all of the unfortunate news coming your way today, just take a moment and allow you eyes to drink this in.

Now there, isn't THAT better?

And do you know the best part?

As of this posting it is still proudly on display over at Rove's website, for everybody to ridicule.

And if that is not enough to bring a smile to your face, perhaps THIS interview with Roger Ailes will do the trick:

“I turn on the TV and the first thing I see is Rove saying something like ‘you called Ohio too early.’ And I thought, ‘What the? What is this?’”

Ailes watched as his highly-paid pundit was challenging his decision desk’s call which would give the election to Pres. Obama.

“So I quickly called [EVP of News] Michael Clemente and I said, ‘Michael whatever you do, don’t go to commercial. Don’t leave the screen.’” Ailes instructed Clemente to have Megyn Kelly, “go confront the decision team. If you have to, make the decision team confront Rove.”

Ailes says transparency was the key, telling Clemente, “‘We can’t do anything off camera.’ I didn’t want the public or our competitors to say we somehow panicked and didn’t confront the truth on camera.”

“As it turned out Rove was wrong. He backed down. Our guys were right. We stayed with it. Megyn did her famous walk down the hall. And it all worked out.”

Oooh, so Roger Ailes was the one who orchestrated that very public smackdown of Turdblosson.

Now THAT is going to leave a mark!

He's a liar, the whole thing was a set up all the way to Megyn's hall walk. I wouldn't be surprised if Rove was in on it. Notice during the video of her walk she starts talking about how WHEN THEY PRACTICED THIS the sound went out at a certain point in the hallway and she said it's doing it again.

So why would they practice a so called spontaneous moment... Faux News is right

Ailes is a master of public manipulation. In keeping the cameras on Rove, Fox News generated ratings, capitalized on Rove's stupidity, and put themselves in the headlines, all without looking overtly "biased." I hate to admit it, but it's genius. And further proof that no cow (even a fat f*ck like Rove) is sacred when Ailes is on the hunt for publicity and profile.

I don't feel better when the country is divided. I don't feel better when Israel punishes the people of Gaza for the sins of the few. I did feel better when Alabama lost to A&M.

Oh, thank you for that, Gryphen. And you're right...the fact that it's still up IS the best part. Maybe the same fun folks that put the Mittless Inauguration site up are responsible for that, too. You know...the ones whose credit cards were cancelled election night. Can't wait for the books!

  7. Karl Rove was stuck up there on Bullshit Mountain with Dick Morris, everyone from Fox, and millions of other conservatives. They got brought down Bullshit Mountain by an avalanche.

Turd Blossom's major fail! This man should be brought up on charges of treason after his years with W. He orchestrated the outing of a CIA agent, Valerie Plame, all because her husband, Joseph Wilson went on record as saying Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, the so-called 'yellowcake'. "The first reference to Plame being a secret agent appears in The Nation, in an article by David Corn published July 16, 2003, just two days after Robert Novak’s column appeared. It carried this lead: “Did Bush officials blow the cover of a U.S. intelligence officer working covertly in a field of vital importance to national security — and break the law — in order to strike at a Bush administration critic and intimidate others?” and got away with it. Many lives of other CIA agents were compromised, and some informants were killed. He's a disgrace to this country.

    1. Interestingly, Valerie Plame's outing may save us a world of heartbreak. Today, Valerie admitted she was wrong when she worked for the CIA. She goes on to say that when she was an operative, she believed that Nukes were safe when kept in "responsible hands". Paraphrasing. Today she admits there are no safe nukes. She is working to get rid of them all. She told a great story about a man who worked in a Plutonium factory. This man was selling tiny bits of enriched Uranium to Al Queda. Why? He wanted to buy a refrigerator. So.. I'm happy she is doing this work. I hate that she was outed by such a lowlife, but maybe it was for the best.

The story when I linked it on the last blog post brightened my Friday. A Rove SMACKDOWN!!

But then I've come across Barbara Bush:

"I'm tired now of the elections," Bush, who had endorsed Republican Mitt Romney, said at a forum on America's first ladies. "People spoke. Move on, get on with it. I want to do other things and not to be ugly."

"They are going to have to compromise," said Barbara Bush, the wife of former President George H.W. Bush. "It's not a dirty word."

    Take that Romney & Rethugs!!!

But yet again something else to make it even better. I can't handle it all!!!

Someone linked on the last post that McCain only has the Indian Affairs Committee available in January when his term limit runs out on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

I replied he had been on the Indian Affairs twice -- with baggage of Jack Abramoff!! Can't do it again!! On Wednesday, he proposed for a Select Committee with extensive authority to investigate the Benghazi, Libya, attack and the U.S. government's response which of course he wants to head. But after his proposal, skipped a private congressional briefing on Benghazi.

The good news -- Harry Reid has to authorize the committee and just heard it reported that Reid has denied it!! So far McCain has no island to live on!! Boo Hoo!!

    Time to PARTYYYYY!!!

Ah yes, her famous walk in the too tight black skirt with BROWN stilettos.
Yeah that was classic TV all right. I liked the dumb expression on her face better. What do you mean Obama won?

  11. OT but good to read:

    HUFFPO: SouthernJewel:

Of all of the men and women who’ve been elected governor of their state since the year 1900...Over 1200 politicians have taken that first-term oath of office.

    Some soon died in office.

Many resigned to accept other positions in government, including Spiro Agnew who was “tapped” by Nixon after being the Governor of Maryland for about five minutes.

On a handful of occasions, a first-termer was dragged off to the slammer or impeached.
One was incapacitated by a nervous breakdown and one left just as impeachment came knocking on his door.

So—how many out of over 1200 just up and quit before the end of their term?

Three: Jim McGreevy, Eliot Spitzer and Sarah Palin.

    Two quit due to scandal.

That leaves Palin to be the only one out of 1200 that quit for no reason. (unless you count lining her pockets with money as a reason)

Oh, come on, she didn't quit for "no reason" she quit because the liberal media and blogger in Alaska were pickin' on her and she was goin' all poor and shit tryin' to defend herself from some shit that she actually was guilty of and whatnot. Geez, perspective is necessary when looking at why this woman, who was seriously so smart (83 IQ) and so really into hiring really good people to get her jobs done and put wallpaper in her offices and stuff, had to quit her job. (with a smile on her face, no less). So yea, grains of salt and all that you should take her quitting with and make it a perspective of all things great and small.

Gryphen! Not O/T at all... Remember when Anonymous warned Karl Rove about stealing the election about a week before? Wellll... here is their explanation for Rove's meltdown and Romney's inexplicable confidence (plus the pol skewing they tried, to provide cover for their heist): http://wonkette.com/489966/anonymous-claims-it-stopped-karl-rove-from-hacking-the-election-by-hacking-orca-we-think

It's Wonkette, but Thom Hartmann, with his infinite wisdom, is saying that it makes perfect sense... because it explains everything. Here is the letter from Anonymous: http://www.scribd.com/doc/113370393/Anon-Rove-Letter

I believe this. It TOTALLY explains Rove's disbelief - and Romney's/Ryan's shock - on November 6.

We (this entire country) owes Anonymous a HUGE debt of gratitude.

Thanks to both of you for providing this.

On the one hand, I really hope it's true.

On the other hand, maybe Karl's the man in the mask, trying to convince his pissed off money men that it wasn't his fault...it was this band of commie pervert librul computer geek nerds that sabatoged everything.

And, on the third hand, I wish I could be as enlightened & gracious as the person who wrote the lovely letter to Mittless & Pal. Maybe someday I'll get there...maybe. Probably not.

Right now I still want to see the whole lot of them charged & convicted for what they tried to do...again. Barring that, I wish for them what I always wished for Nixon. I hope they live loooong, miserable lives, and have to face the fact, every day, that we all know what they did and what they are...CROOKS!

I can see him putting VA, CO and FL in Romney's column, but...IOWA and OHIO? Obama was ALWAYS leading in both states by more than three points, and even when the polls were narrowing, around the time of the first debate...HE WAS STILL LEADING THERE!!!

AND, the map above IS VERY WRONG...... Fla., Ohio and Colorado are wrong right off the bat so hopefully this is ROVE's wet dream cause it sure isn't reality !!!

It makes sense in retrospect. Meggie's yammering while walking out "The news room used to be right next door, now it waaaaaay down the other end of the building ... clip clop clip clop... follow me!... clip clop.... clip...clop..

What's going on? Are you SURE it's right, because Karl Rove says.... "Yeah, it's 99.99 percent right, Obama won the election"

Sigh... clip clop clip clop.... (are you focusing on my firm butt and toned legs?) clip clop.... And she hits the wall of denial, telling Rove he's wrong. The entire thing was orchestrated to save face.

The background image was people hopping in their seats cheering, Fox was the last to call it, and she needed marching orders?

    pathetic.
