Oh yeah, such a stable genius.

I think the #stablegenius hashtag is probably the only thing that I want to survive this Trump presidency.

Okay so does Trump believe that planes which are invisible to radar are also impossible to see with the naked eye?

Yeah, it appears that he does.

Did you see the guy's face over Trump's right shoulder?

He looks like he simply cannot believe what he he is hearing.

CNN's Jake Tapper asks Rex Tillerson point blank if he called Trump a moron, Tillerson refuses to answer. "I'm not gonna deal with that petty stuff."

Well, THAT'S a confirmation if ever I heard one.

By the way "unconventional" is code for "dysfunctional."

Budget Director proudly reveals how easy it is to manipulate Donald Trump.

What can I say, he's a dumbass.
Courtesy of Politico:

Mick Mulvaney, President Donald Trump’s budget director, walked into the Oval Office in early May on a longshot mission. The slash-government conservative wanted to persuade the president to break one of his most popular campaign promises.

During his populist run for the White House, Trump had vowed to leave Social Security and Medicare alone. But Trump had also vowed to rein in America’s national debt, which Mulvaney didn’t think was possible without reining in the two biggest chunks of the federal budget. So Mick the Knife brought a cut list to his meeting in the Oval.

“Look, this is my idea on how to reform Social Security,” the former South Carolina congressman began.

“No!” the president replied. “I told people we wouldn’t do that. What’s next?”

“Well, here are some Medicare reforms,” Mulvaney said.

“No!” Trump repeated. “I’m not doing that.”

“OK, disability insurance.”

This was a clever twist. Mulvaney was talking about the Social Security Disability Insurance program, which, as its full name indicates, is part of Social Security. But Americans don’t tend to think of it as Social Security, and its 11 million beneficiaries are not the senior citizens who tend to support Trump.

“Tell me about that,” Trump replied.

“It’s welfare,” Mulvaney said.

“OK, we can fix welfare,” Trump declared.

Sure enough, the Trump budget plan that Mulvaney unveiled a few weeks later would cut about $70 billion in disability benefits over a decade, mostly through unspecified efforts to get recipients back to work. That may sound like welfare reform, but the program isn’t welfare for the poor; it’s insurance for workers who pay into Social Security through payroll taxes. The episode suggests Trump was either ignorant enough to get word-gamed into attacking a half-century-old guarantee for the disabled, or cynical enough to ditch his promise to protect spending when it didn’t benefit his base.

I put the word "proudly" in the headline because while this would seem like the kind of thing one would keep to themselves, or only reveal to a few close lipped confidants, Mulvaney is essentially bragging to the whole world that the guy he works for is an uneducated moron who is easily manipulated.

And apparently he has no fear of repercussions or losing his job.

I can only imagine how proud Trump voters are of their president after reading this.

Assuming of course some of them can actually read.

I think this actual image of Donald Trump looking up at the solar eclipse is all you need to know about his presidency. Update!

To be fair he DID eventually put on those "science specs" though he is pretty sure the idea that the sun can hurt your eyes is just "fake news."
Still it's important to remember that this is how Trump first started his observation of the eclipse.
Remember folks THIS is the guy that millions of your fellow Americans actually thought should be in charge of your country.

I also heard that a number of Trump voters were in a blind panic because they did not understand what was happening and thought that Obama's renewable energy policies broke the sun.

Update: I've now heard from a number of sources that there were people in the crowd yelling at Trump to put on his eclipse glasses but he took quite some time to respond.

World's greatest orator.

That quick cut to McMaster at the end made me laugh out loud.

I cannot even begin to imagine how lacking in self respect and full of self loathing you must be to work for this arrogant POS.

For those of you who held out hope that Mike Pence was the smart one. Not so much.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Vice President Mike Pence apparently couldn’t help himself.

He caused concern on Thursday by blatantly ignoring a safety sign during a tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Pence was shown some critical space flight hardware, including a piece covered by a sheet of paper with the instruction “DO NOT TOUCH.” But as this snap by Reuters photographer Mike Brown shows, he totally disregarded the warning.

I wonder if the nuclear football comes with child safety locks?

While touring affordable housing in Miami, HUD Secretary Ben Carson gets stuck in elevator for 15 minutes.

Courtesy of CBS Miami:

In a situation that may be emblematic of things to come, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson got stuck in an elevator during a touring of affordable housing in Miami.

Carson was with Heat legend Alonzo Mourning at the Courtside Family Apartments, at 1699 NW 4th Avenue, when his elevator car came to a grinding halt. The HUD secretary was stuck inside for about 15 minutes until Miami firefighters got him out.

So I guess the housing is affordable, but you have to pay extra for a working elevator?

TO be fair this kind of thing could happen to anybody, but then again it is EXACTLY the kind of thing that keep happening to Ben Carson.

Remember during a Republican debate when Carson inexplicably just stopped before going on stage?

Or the time in the middle of an interview when he suddenly lost his luggage?

Let's face it virtually every member of Trump's Administration has an elevator that does not quite go to the top.

But Ben Carson, well Ben Carson is in a class of his own.

Idiot walks into a police station with an AK-47 to make point about open carry. Almost gets his ass shot full of holes. (NSFW language.)

This might make me an evil prick but part of totally wanted this guy to get shot at least once.

I mean his face is covered and he walks into a police station brandishing a weapon. What could he possibly have expected?

Let's face it if this had been a black guy they would have dropped him at the door.

Hey, remember when we thought THIS guy would be the worst president we would ever have?

Don't get me wrong, he was absolutely terrible.

However by comparison he seems almost comical and inept.

Donald Trump attempts to instruct Nevadans on how to correctly pronounce the name of their state, and of course gets it completely wrong.

Courtesy of NBC News:

Donald Trump on Wednesday gave a lesson on linguistics to a Nevada crowd on how to pronounce the name of the state — and got it wrong. "NevAHHHHdah," Trump told the crowd in Reno, saying "nobody says it the other way."

The correct way to pronounce the name of the Silver State is "NevADDah." Then-state archivist Guy Rocha told NBC News back in 2008 that the latter way is the correct version to pronounce the state name.

Former State Assemblyman Harry Mortenson in 2010 admitted in a resolution calling for both pronunciations to be accepted that only those outside the state use Trump's version, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

What a condescending POS.

You know it's one thing to mispronounce the name of a city or state, I think we all have done that at some point in our lives, but it is quite another thing to lecture the people of that state about how to pronounce their name, and do it incorrectly.

The guy is a fucking circus clown.

Man finds fossils in front yard that he believes are from Noah's flood, evolution denying fossil "expert" confirms it without actually seeing the evidence. Go ahead guess which state this is.

Courtesy of CBS 19:

One East Texas man believes he found fossils from Noah’s flood and a self-proclaimed fossil expert says he's right.

“From Noah’s flood to my front yard, how much better can it get,” Wayne Propst said.

Propst is stunned. He was helping his aunt lay some dirt outside her home in Tyler when he found this.

“What's really interesting to me is we're talking about the largest catastrophe known to man, the flood that engulfed the entire world,” Propst said.

He called up self-proclaimed fossil expert Joe Taylor who confirmed that what Propst found is in fact from the time of Noah’s ark and he says finding those fossils in Tyler is rare.

Did you guess Texas? Because seriously you should always guess Texas, with Florida as your back up.

By the way this is what it says on this "fossil experts" website:

I’m Joe Taylor, the director and curator of the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum. If you like fossils, dinosaur digs and other old things you have come to the right place. Check the news reports. We want to show you why we do not believe that the evolution theory or the millions of years concept is good science.

Well it's a good thing he keeps an open mind, don't you think?

"Hey if you want to hear some complete bullshit about fossils, from a guy who hates actual science, then give me call. Reinforcement of your superstitious beliefs guaranteed."

This is what this Propst guy's aunt had to say about the "discovery":

“To think that like he says that we have something in our yard that dated back to when God destroyed the earth. I mean, how much better could anything be,” Givan said.

And at the end of the video on the CBS 19 website Propst himself makes this comment:

"Who else can say they have a front yard full of Noah's dirt?"

Look I know that Texans get really snippy with me for pointing out all of the morons living in their state, but come on! How could I resist this story?

On the list of things that Jeb Bush should never say "Mission Accomplished" belongs at the very top.

Courtesy of TPM:

In a segment that aired on CBS News Thursday, Major Garrett asked Bush if he could be a surprise story in Iowa.

"Yes, because the expectations are so low," Bush said, with a smile.

"Well, you have succeeded there, governor" Garrett quipped, to which, Bush thrusted his hands in the air like a champion.

"Mission accomplished!" Bush exclaimed.

It's like the guy is TRYING to sabotage his campaign.

Nancy French, channeling Bristol Palin, decides to speak for all indigenous native people living in the Arctic. No, seriously! Update!

So the image up above is of Kylie Jenner, you know one of the Kardashian family members, in her Halloween costume.

She called it her "Eskimo costume" and there was some backlash on social media.

It's not really any big deal to most people, but some people just like to get upset.

However Nancy French saw this as an opportunity to use Bristol's essentially non-relevant, barely  measurable, native heritage to weigh in on the topic in the hopes of getting some attention NOT focused on trying to figure out just who knocked Bristol up most recently.

Here is what she said:

Well, as a person born and raised in Alaska (born on Alaska Day, no less) who is also part Yup’ik, let me say this.

I’m not offended!

In fact, I’m flattered that you think Eskimos looks this chic.

First off to be fair NO Alaska native woman that I am aware of has ever dressed like that.  Ever!

If Jenner were really interested in authenticity she would have dressed more like this.

But of course she was looking for attention, not heat stroke. And that's fine.

What is NOT fine is for Nancy French, a woman with absolutely no native Alaskan heritage to hide behind, to instead use this vacuous simpleton as a vehicle for expressing opinions that have absolutely NO relevance.

For one thing while it might be true that Alaska natives may not find Kylie Jenner's costume offensive, that is really for THEM to decide.

As for the word "Eskimo" that is a non-Alaskan native word that native Alaskans have been saddled with for over a hundred years now. It is NOT typically considered politically correct to refer to our indigenous population using that term.

Which is something that Bristol Palin SHOULD know, but since her mother still brags about "Eskimo Bingo" probably doesn't care to acknowledge.

However once again pasty white Nancy French is NOT an Alaskan native, so she really has no dog in this fight and therefore no opinion worthy of discussion.

Which also brings up the point that even if this were a post written by Bristol Palin (In crayon most likely.) it still would not have any validity because the native people of Canada and Greenland, who have also been derisively referred to as "Eskimo," most certainly DO have a problem with the word.

In short French just decided to not take offense on behalf of not just the Alaska native population, but also the indigenous people of the entire Arctic region.

Update: Now Nancy is linking to the article as Sarah, that she wrote as Bristol.

I wonder if this lunatic even knows who she really is anymore?

Convicted felon shoots himself in the penis while attempting to buy a gun illegally, blames a black man. Thanks Obama!

Courtesy of Argus Leader:

A convicted felon who accidentally shot himself in the penis was arrested after police say he lied about how the shooting happened.

Donald Anthony Watson was admitted to the Avera McKennan emergency room about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 6 for a gunshot wound to his penis, according to an arrest affidavit.

When questioned by police, the 43-year-old said he was shot by “a black guy (who) tried to rob” him while he was taking out the trash at his apartment.

The story seemed a little suspicious to the police who got a search warrant and were able to determine that this Watson guy shot himself in the dick while he was contemplating whether to buy the gun from an unknown party.

Now the man faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a drug offender, false report of a crime to law enforcement and false report of information to law enforcement. So you know his life just took a significant turn for the worse.

Don't you just hate it when the your metallic penis shoots your real penis out of spite, and there is not a handy black guy around to blame it on?

Question of the day kids. How long do you think it would have taken for this guy to get shot by the police if he were black?

Courtesy of Freakout Nation:

Shawn Nixon, part of a group called ‘Hell’s Saints,’ chose a fashion ensemble consisting of camouflage because, freedom. Also, it scares little kids more so it’s effective. Yay.

Police were inundated with calls from frantic parents because school shootings are a reality.

Naturally, the school was placed on lockdown.

When the police confront the Open Carry freedom dude, he refuses to identify himself, and chooses to engage in verbal arguments with the officers.

One officer’s hand is resting on his holster. Shawn takes offense while he himself is being humped by a semi-automatic rifle on his back.

“Are you gonna shoot me?,” Shawn asks several times, while the officers appear to be in disbelief of this guy’s dumb fuckery. He then starts shouting over them.

“You’ll probably pull your gun out and point it at me, amirite?,” Shawn asks the extremely polite and patient police officers, who in no way indicated that they were a threat.

You know I usually do not advocate violence, but part way through this thing I was kind of hoping that one of the cop's guns might "accidentally" go off.

I really do not understand what these idiots hope to accomplish with these stunts.

I have to imagine that if there were any pro-second amendment parents who had children in this school that they are seriously reexamining their position.

Louis Gohmert plans to challenge John Boehner for the job of Speaker of the House. And just when you thought the House Republicans could not get any crazier.

"I have no problem speaking in my house so what's the difference?"
Courtesy of Fox News:

Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert said Sunday that he will challenge House Speaker John Boehner for his post when Congress returns this week to Washington.

Gohmert, among the House Republican caucus’ most conservative members, made the announcement on “Fox and Friends,” saying he decided to run after Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., said Saturday that he would challenge Boehner for the chamber’s top post.

“We have heard from a lot of Republicans that said, ‘I would vote for somebody besides speaker Boehner.’ But nobody will put their name out there,” Gohmert said. “That changed yesterday with Ted Yoho.”

“After the November elections gave Republicans control of the Senate, voters made clear they wanted change,” Gohmert also said Sunday. “There have been numerous examples of problematic Republican leadership, but we were hopeful our leaders got the voters’ message. However, after our speaker forced through the CR omnibus by passing it with Democratic votes and without time to read it, it seemed clear that we needed new leadership. There had been much discussion. But, until yesterday, no one had stepped up.”

Sure why not?

I mean it's not like anybody takes Congress seriously anymore anyway.

Just for take a moment, close your eyes, and imagine Louis Gohmert as Speaker of the House.

Which one are you doing, laughing or crying?

Wonkette listens to Sarah Palin Channel videos so that you don't have to. The poor bastards!

Palin from the Vales Voters Summit pretending she can read.
So as you all know I have flat refused to buy a subscription to the Sarah Palin Channel website so I have not been keeping my breasts up to date (Did I say that right?) as to how deep the moose shit is flowing over there.

But fortunately (Or unfortunately if you prefer) Dan Weber of Wonkette continues to update his Sarah Palin Fartknocker Report.

In today's report we learn that Palin does not really understand Catholicism or bears, is still pissed her candidate in Mississippi lost, and is fed up with political types grifting money from innocent people in order to provide bad advice.

Hang on, the mind numbing hypocrisy of that last statement made me a little light headed.

Okay I've recovered somewhat.

First up Palin responds to a question from one of her six subscribers about how often she gets to fondle Todd's equipment:

We have a subscriber asking, ‘Sarah, has Todd ever let you take control of the floatplane? If so, how long were you allowed to pilot it?’ Do I get to take control of his [Cessna] 185, or his Piper Super Cub? Is a bear Catholic, does the Pope live in the woods? No, not often.

Wonkette points out that this is not a live feed and therefore Palin had plenty of time to go back and change this response, but nope she wants to be unfiltered so unfiltered she remains.

Next the Wasilla Wendigo pisses and moans about her man Chris McDaniel losing in Mississippi and whose fault that was. (Here's a hint she does not think it's hers.)

These people who want the R by their name, they think that that’s how they’re gonna get elected, we need to have great discernment, find out who they are, and find alternatives to these RINOs. [...] We’re all incredibly disappointed by the, gosh, those tactics that the GOP machine, the Establishment, the Man, that they used in Mississippi against Chris McDaniel, an excellent, excellent patriot. [...]

Yeah those tactics they used against McDaniel were just awful.

I mean how dare Senator Thad Cochran encourage more people, even those who are not traditionally considered Republican or conservative, to vote for him. What, does he think that the Republican party wants to expand their numbers or something?

And speaking of the kinds of people who give politicians advice to do things like reach out to independent voters,or pander to women, or Mexicans, or other brown skin people, Palin has no use for them. Oh no she doesn't!

Sometimes you have good candidates but they have GOP establishment, smooth-talkin’, knucklehead consultants as their advisors. We need to discourage good candidates from thinking that these, DC especially, advisors who are out of touch with, just, normal, everyday Americans, that these advisors know best. Especially advisors with really, really poor records.

They’re dumb, consultants, sometimes they’re dumb, and they almost always give horrible advice, I find. They try to shape and mold the candidate. Instead of letting a good candidate just be that good candidate, that got ‘em to where they are, well now, these advisors come in, y’know they come ridin’ in, what they want to have perceived as the white horse, and they’re gonna save this campaign, and in the meantime they screw up a lot of things.

So these consultants, I’m not impressed. and yet they keep gettin hired! They’re making hand over fist, they’re making big bucks off innocent contributors to candidates, to campaigns, not knowin’ that a lot of their money is going to these professional politicians, because they’re professional political consultants…well, that’s part of the problem. [...] Again, we live and learn, and we come back stronger.

Oh I definitely have to agree here that the idiots who take money from innocent people while endorsing or giving advice to conservative candidates are just the lowest of the low.

I mean WHAT kind of POS would do that for a living? Especially when their advice is SO bad and does nothing to help the candidate, and in fact might ultimately doom their campaign?

You know I don't want to tell Sarah Palin how to live her life or anything (Yes I do!), but just perhaps she might consider playing some of these video back before posting them on her site.

And maybe, just maybe, having somebody who is not paid to kiss her skinny wrinkled ass listen to them as well might not be the worst idea either. Just a thought.

Thursday, September 11, 2014

Once again Sarah Palin offers the President unsolicited advice on a subject that she does not understand.

You would think after the embarrassment suffered last weekend that Palin might want to lay low until a certain investigation comes to an end, or at least until she is sure that there is no video evidence of the Palins being Palins.

But then again she has bills to pay, and has to continue the charade of being a person of knowledge concerning politics and world affairs.

So late last night Palin decided to critique the President's Special Address about his plan to defeat ISIS. (You can read a transcript of that speech here.)

I am not going to share the entire Facebook post, because to be honest the smell of that much bullshit might cause some of you to pass right out.

Here is how she starts her diatribe:

War is hell. So go big or go home, Mr. President. Big means bold, confident, wise assurance from a trustworthy Commander-in-Chief that it shall all be worth it. Charge in, strike hard, get out. Win.

You know that sounds suspiciously like the tactics used by her family last Saturday

You know except the winning part, that is.

Palin's ghostwriter then goes on to blame the rise of ISIS on the President.

The rise of the animalistic terror group, ISIS, is the result of Obama’s lead-from-behind foreign policy. He had broadcast his war strategy for all the enemy to see in Iraq, so the enemy could wait us out and strike as soon as America turned tail and turned away from all we’d sacrificed there. Terrorists who we had under control got to regroup and grow after Obama’s premature pull out.

Still using that vaguely sexual language I see.

Of course Palin is completely misrepresenting the reason for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq, which was in response to a deal brokered by the Bush administration and honored by our current Commander in Chief.

The President offered to leave troops behind, but was rebuffed by the Iraqis who were understandably tired of American occupation.

And of course the destabilization itself is the direct result of the Bush/Cheney attack on Saddam Hussein in the first place. They broke it, and then left it up to President Obama to fix it.

Now everybody is yelling at him for not doing it fast enough.

Then Palin decides that the real problem with the terrorists are simply that they are Muslim.

You must acknowledge reality: the organization calling itself the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is, in fact, “Islamic.” Not many of us pretend to be experts on the Muslim religion, but these terrorists obviously consider themselves Muslim and they believe what they’re horrifically doing to innocents is part of their “religion of peace.” So, you can use your soapbox to fiercely encourage the sane, civilized Muslims of the world to tell ISIS and all these sickening terrorists that they’re wrong. In the meantime, we must identify and understand the enemy by at least acknowledging their ideological motivation and identity. Our president is naive to ignore this.

So in Palin's view the objective is simple.  Though she admits that "not many of us are experts on the Muslim religion" it is clear to her that they are all murderers and must be destroyed. Or I imagine converted to the more peaceful religion of Christianity.

(Because lord knows Christians have certainly not engaged in genocide at any time in the history of the world.)

Palin wraps up her ghostwritten rant with the following:

We should honor and understand our brave men and women of the U.S. armed forces today more than ever. Please do not support politicians who join Obama in diminishing our military. Our finest, trained to fight for what is right and determined to win, deserve our support. Thank you, military, may you be heard when you pray America’s leadership understands that if we’re in it, then we're in it to win it; no half measures. Troops, we are always with you.

- Sarah Palin

So essentially Palin would like to honor the service of our men and women in the military by putting more of them in harm's way in Iraq and Syria.

Something by the way that the President is desperately trying to avoid.

You know I think that when the military prays, they undoubtedly give thanks that Palin and her grandfather did not win the presidency back in 2008.

Because if old man McCain and his arctic floozy would have won, not only would troops still be in Iraq, but we would probably be fighting wars with several other countries as well.

President Obama is doing the best that he can with absolutely NO support from the Republicans, one of whom said this in response a question about taking a vote to deal with ISIS:

“It’s an election year. A lot of Democrats don’t know how it would play in their party, and Republicans don’t want to change anything. We like the path we’re on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask what took him so long.”

The only surprise about that statement is that he said it in front of reporters.

You know perhaps Palin should worry less about big problems that are clearly above her pay grade, and instead focus on the shit storm that many of us are fairly certain is coming her way.

Man attempts to take selfie while holding gun. Death photobombs him.

Courtesy of Metro:

Oscar Aguilar showed off on Facebook by posting photos of himself in front of sports cars, sitting on motorbikes and hugging attractive women.

But the Mexican’s desire to impress proved his downfall when he borrowed the gun and snapped himself waving it about.

Neighbour Manfredo Paez, 57, said: ‘I heard a gunshot and then I heard somebody screaming.’

And they keep saying Darwin was wrong.
