Final image of the day.

A bullshit movement, that was phony for the very start, and NEVER should have been encouraged by a media that wanted to add same excitement to an otherwise predicable election process.

I called them Teabaggers from the very beginning, and took grief from a number of people over it, but I was NEVER once able to take these people seriously nor did I think anybody else ever should.

So who was right?

We need to be aggressive Progressives for the Gubernatorial races in 2014 and keep this momentum going to get these noGopers the hell out of office.

Now I understand the big push to get these tea baggin' neoCons in the House for 2010 in order for them to pass as much voter obstruction & suppression legislation as possible. Sorry assholes it didn't work, but you came awfully close.

    Let's not forget it.

How can anybody take seriously people who wave signs that read:

"Keep the government out of my Medicare"
"Youth in Asia will kill your grandma"
"Half-Breed Muslin" (yes, "Muslin," like the cloth)
    "Home Scholers for Perry!"

Plus the signs railing against "Socilism" and Polititians"

Senator Kerry was right when he said of the Tea Party "It's the reign of the know-nothings!"

Let's see Restore God and Prayer to the Constitution, but keep the government out of my life.
Religious freedom to the extremely religious. Non religious? Too bad the party of less government is going to MANDATE their religious beliefs upon YOU by lowering government spending by getting rid of those pesky "entitlements" (that you've been paying into since you were 16) and instead making you pay for--vaginal probes.
Abolish the IRS end the FED...The Dept. of ED. Have a rape baby? Too bad you have to stay home and school them yourself. Women shouldn't work outside the home anyway. How will you pay for it? Well find yourself a husband, woman and do your duty because that's how 'rill 'merican's live.
Get rid of entitlements but don't touch my SS, Medicare, or Hoveround "voucher."
Lower taxes? Ummmm yea folks that's the answer.
I've only scratched the surface of the stupid...

If there was any truth in that it might be a good thing. But alas, there's not because the baggers are alive and well and not really diminished much at all.

But it wouldn't be a good thing anyway because the best hope for the Dems is to keep the R's divided between sensible repubs and extremist radical baggers.

    4. The Teabaggers aren't dead yet. They are like Carrie; a hand will rise up from the grave and grab you when you're least aware. The mistake the Dems made in 2008 was becoming complacent and not taking the Teabaggers seriously. It will take a lot of work and organization to completely eradicate the last dregs of the Teabaggers in 2014. Until that task is completed, they are still a threat. They're already talking about impeachment for Obama. Nothing more dangerous than a severely wounded animal.

Hey Gryph -- check this out...

There's this person "Shelly Dankert", who is apparently a huge Sarah supporter, going by her FB mention here: http://www.facebook.com/PalinQuake/posts/512698045411332

Also going by her blog, here (Check out October 2011 posts re: Sarah Earthquake movement): http://nebraskattitude.blogspot.com/

And her "news" blog here: http://www.youconreport.com/

But the icing on the cake is today's YouTube video she made (also linked from the youconreport blog). A 24-minute drunken rant on last night's election results. I've only made it through the first 3rd of the video, but is it a doozy. And so representative of the average Palin supporter. 14. The Tea Party movement surely messed up things for the Republican party. So glad some of the kooks got voted down yesterday. I'm not shedding too many tears for the Repugs right now; how do you say, "self-inflicted wounds"?, "or, you brought it on yourselves.."...we sure got some great re-elected and NEW SENATORS! Crystal Sage is right, all of the Teabaggers are not gone. Sarah is trying to stir them up with her Facebook comments claiming that the Republicans are snubbing them. The Teabaggers have been the extremists who pulled the Republicans so far to the right that people could not vote for them. They divide what used to be a strongly unified party.

The bad news about the Teabaggers is that like Sarah, they know how to make outlandish statements that the media reports. Sarah started that death panel meme, and it took hold. Sarah targeted Democratic candidates, using cross hairs (or were they surveyors' marks?). Her mouth and her ghost written facebook posts are dangerous weapons. Sarah has a real knack for attracting attention with her ugly hate-filled language. It's what got her on Fox. Now, she has added a religious element to her appearances and posts-- quotes from the Bible.

all the idiots gather together in easy-to-spot public areas to display their hate and ignorance.

What I detest is the media giving them any credit beyond being the clown-show they really are.

The very tragic thing is that the original movement was NOT a bullshit movement. I would consider myself a member of the group which wanted a real investigation into 9/11. Ron Paul fully supported or cause. OF COURSE, the PTB could not have anyone asking reasonable questions about 9/11 anomalies PUBLICALLY. Thus the movement was infiltrated and corrupted.

Having a black man running for and then elected to the presidency made it that much easier to corrupt. There are too many racists and old people in our country.
    Easy peasy.
Thank goodness there were enough people who saw how things were going this election and used their voting voice.
Now, I urge all these people to continue using their voice and investigate 9/11. Figure that shit out and we have a whole new revolution with amazing change. Stop the military industrial complex and use that money for healthcare and education.
