For the women who don't consider themselves feminists.

A a man, raised by a single mother, and single parent to a headstrong young woman, I found this incredibly moving.

  1. I raised my daughter as a single mom too, I did my best to instill science and reasoning. This brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of all the women who have no voice.

I found this pretty repulsive and it looks like everyone else did too.

You are the Thing this brave young woman is fighting against. I pray you don't have the opportunity to endanger other young women or to disable any daughters.

She touches very sensitive cords, so intelligently and in a very human way.

Thanks for posting this Gryph, the battles which I and so many others fought decades ago have now to be fought again.

I applaude this new generation of Sandra Flukes.

For some reason when she first began speaking, Malala came to mind, she's fighting for the simple right to be educated.
She's right, we owe a lot to those brave women who came before us. I consider myself lucky to be married to a good man 25 years, and I truly admire and honor the courage, strength and struggle of single mothers.
