I used to like Bill O'Reilly, but during the Bush years he seemed to have lost his mind. I used to think that he had just lost his integrity - that he'd sold out to Fox News, but listening to him lately I'm starting to believe that he really has turned into that old man that has shut off his intellect and argues purely from his emotion.
I guess the difference between the two is: Sarah is just pure stupid and mean. O'Reilly isn't stupid - he's just been inside the Fox Echo chamber for so long that he's out of touch with reality.
I believe that O'Reilly used to be a good man but has become corrupted by the hateful Limbaugh/Beck/Fox News propaganda machine.

I'd like to hear more.
Tripp does provide more on how some of what she alleges goes on, works: The way this is done is clever and very very hard to prosecute in a court of law. Phones, disposable numbers, computers, and databases are kept of clients needs, sexual preferences, lengths of sessions, contact info and any personal info they may disclose during a session.Sometimes sessions are even taped. Sometimes the buildings of where these sessions are offered are also taped and i don;t mean by law enforcement. Federal employees and military employees know of these services and often use them in sealing a deal. These prostitutes are recruited from all over the U.S. and taken overseas or brought in on planes around the country.

Kind of O/T: There is nothing O'Reilly could ever do to overcome what I consider to be his absolute worst offense: When Shawn Hornbeck, after being kidnapped at age 10 and repeatedly sexually abused by his captor for 5 years, was finally rescued, O'Reilly suggested that the kid enjoyed it and was having fun playing video games. Also, Shawn made a couple of heartbreaking posts on a website his family set up to find him, but O'Reilly characterized these as "taunting his family." What kind of sick fuck thinks that way? One other thing I detest about O'Reilly (and there many things to detest) is I remember listening to him say, and believe me he said it, that "If we (the United States) go into Iraq and do not find weapons of mass destruction, I'll never trust the Bush administration again." He's never been challenged on that statement, never was. It should have been thrown back in his face, but it wasn't. He's a slimy despicable piece of garbage. O'Reilly interviewed Jeremy Glick, the son of one of New York's first responders for 9/11. Actually, he didn't interview the young man. He berated Glick, scolded Glick, and Bill kept telling Glick to shut up. O'Reilly got angry, misrepresented what Glick was saying and then in desperation, O'Reilly screamed, "Cut his mike. Get him out of here."

Bill O'Reilly would never run for public office. He makes more money at Fox. He wouldn't take a job where there was actual responsibilities and the need to work with other people. And, he thinks so little of Palin that he would want to head the ticket. (Proof? During Sarah's few appearances on O'Reilly's show, he constantly interrupts her. He interrupts everyone, but he is impatient with Sarah and her scattered way of talking.
Palin will tease people that she is willing to pick up the banner of her tattered party after Romney's defeat. She will work that tease to get donations to her SuperPAC. She might even get that painted bus out for another family vacation. Sarah would never run for president. It's a hard job with real responsibilities and needing to work with people. She makes more money at Fox. She would never participate in the Republican debates. Of course if the party drafted her with no vetting-- ooops, they tried that four years ago, and it didn't work.

The committee spent $10,000 on “logistical trip consulting,” $3,600 to the bus driver and at least $7,000 on lodging.
But the total for the trip is likely much more, because many bills came in after the June 30 filing deadline, Sarah PAC treasurer Tim Crawford said in an interview. In addition, many other expenses associated with the trip, such as photography, videography, Internet fundraising and airfare, are more difficult to account for.
6) How is Sarah Palin Paying for Her Road Trip?: So, how’s Sarah Palin paying for this grand tour anyway? At the Statue of Liberty today, ABC News asked the former Alaska governor how much her tour has cost so far and how she’s paying for it. “How am I paying for it? Sarah Palin‘s so-called political action committee — created under the pretense of raising money to help political candidates — raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in the first three months of 2012 but didn’t give a cent to any candidate for office.
Instead, the PAC spent more than it raised on Palin’s travel and personal expenses, an army of consultants and expenses to raise more money.
Sarah PAC also spent 19 grand for a video to try refute the movie “Game Change,” which ran on Home Box Office (HBO) and portrayed Palin in a less-than-favorable light during her tenure as John McCain‘s running mate in the 2008 Presidential campaign.
Capitol Hill Blue examined Sarah PAC’s financial disclosure reports filed with the Federal Election Commission and found the political committee pays out a lot of money to keep its namesake in the spotlight with a comfortable lifestyle but none on candidates it pledged to help.
The so-called “leadership PAC” finished March with almost a million dollars in the bank. According to the PAC’s website, the PAC exists to build “America’s future by sporting fresh ideas and candidates who share our vision for reform and innovation.”
But while the PAC raised $388,000 in the first quarter of 2012 — and spent $418,000 — none of the money went to a any candidate.
Sarah PAC did spent 255 grand on fundraising, $4,500 to reserve space at Channelside Bay Mall in Tampa — near the Republican National Convention site in August and $19,000 to Passcode Creative of Franklin, TN, to produce a two-and-a-half minute video to refute HBO’s Game Change.
Another $6,0000 went for hotel bills — including $1,000 for a weekend at Disney World in Florida and more than $100,000 for Palin’s travel and personal expenses.
Palin’s staff are living large off the PAC. Chief of staff Michael Glassner and “issue consultant’ Peter Schweizer received $27,500 each for three months work, which plays out to 110 grand a year each.
Rebecca Mansour, whose primary job is to post pro-Palin propaganda on the Internet, received 22 grand for three months and PAC treasurer Tim Crawford appears to be the PAC’s top paid staff member, receiving $41,500 for three months, which adds up to $166,000 a year.
Crawford claims Sarah PAC will start contributing to candidates soon.

2:27pm that is rather a nice thing to ponder, Palins with a grow room up in one of those cabins. Believe you me, I know lots of people that grow and those cabins up in Petersville would be perfect spot for a grow room. Hmmm, hope I haven't been subsidizing Palins each month when buying weed!

DeleteKind of O/T: There is nothing O'Reilly could ever do to overcome what I consider to be his absolute worst offense: When Shawn Hornbeck, after being kidnapped at age 10 and repeatedly sexually abused by his captor for 5 years, was finally rescued, O'Reilly suggested that the kid enjoyed it and was having fun playing video games. Also, Shawn made a couple of heartbreaking posts on a website his family set up to find him, but O'Reilly characterized these as "taunting his family." What kind of sick fuck thinks that way? Bill O'Reilly would never run for public office. He makes more money at Fox. He wouldn't take a job where there was actual responsibilities and the need to work with other people. And, he thinks so little of Palin that he would want to head the ticket. (Proof? During Sarah's few appearances on O'Reilly's show, he constantly interrupts her. Sarah PAC lavishes money on Palin, not on candidates:
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin‘s so-called political action committee — created under the pretense of raising money to help political candidates — raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in the first three months of 2012 but didn’t give a cent to any candidate for office.
Instead, the PAC spent more than it raised on Palin’s travel and personal expenses, an army of consultants and expenses to raise more money.
Sarah PAC also spent 19 grand for a video to try refute the movie “Game Change,” which ran on Home Box Office (HBO) and portrayed Palin in a less-than-favorable light during her tenure as John McCain‘s running mate in the 2008 Presidential campaign.
Capitol Hill Blue examined Sarah PAC’s financial disclosure reports filed with the Federal Election Commission and found the political committee pays out a lot of money to keep its namesake in the spotlight with a comfortable lifestyle but none on candidates it pledged to help.
The so-called “leadership PAC” finished March with almost a million dollars in the bank. According to the PAC’s website, the PAC exists to build “America’s future by sporting fresh ideas and candidates who share our vision for reform and innovation.”
But while the PAC raised $388,000 in the first quarter of 2012 — and spent $418,000 — none of the money went to a any candidate.
Sarah PAC did spent 255 grand on fundraising, $4,500 to reserve space at Channelside Bay Mall in Tampa — near the Republican National Convention site in August and $19,000 to Passcode Creative of Franklin, TN, to produce a two-and-a-half minute video to refute HBO’s Game Change.
Another $6,0000 went for hotel bills — including $1,000 for a weekend at Disney World in Florida and more than $100,000 for Palin’s travel and personal expenses.
Palin’s staff are living large off the PAC. Chief of staff Michael Glassner and “issue consultant’ Peter Schweizer received $27,500 each for three months work, which plays out to 110 grand a year each.
Rebecca Mansour, whose primary job is to post pro-Palin propaganda on the Internet, received 22 grand for three months and PAC treasurer Tim Crawford appears to be the PAC’s top paid staff member, receiving $41,500 for three months, which adds up to $166,000
a year.
Crawford claims Sarah PAC will start contributing to candidates soon.
