Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Ladies and Gentleman allow me to introduce my President and yours, Barack "Together we can do anything" Obama.
I don't really think I have to add anything.
THAT is who Mitt Romney is running against, and that help he is offering this devastated woman is what Romney wants to privatize.
I believe the appropriate word here is "checkmate."
:-) I can feel the love & compassion. If you have not voted, please vote early....and when you vote for Obama/Biden please vote for Cissna and evry other Dem on the ticket. THank-you!
I am watching our President live here in Vegas giving a RIP ROARING speech and the crowd is eating out of his hand. Go Obama! Over half of Nevada has already voted and democrats are "cleaning the clocks" of the rethugs! Don't boo, Vote!
And I was watching him live in Boulder later tonight! (tried to respond to this earlier but AT&T was clearly crushed under the weight of 12,000 Obama supports all trying to use their cell phones at once :P)
Amazing, charistmatic, insanely energetic (SERIOUSLY, how is that man not dead on his feet? The raw endurance required to campaign AND be president is phenomenal), and yeah, 12,000 screaming jumping cheering people filled our basketball stadium to bursting. Enthusiasm gap what now? :P
It feels so encouraging to hear/read reports of people who are actually seeing the President in person. Our little corner of the country (northwest Lower Michigan) is so far from the action that there never was a chance that President Obama or Vice President Biden or either of their wives would come to see us. Thank you for reporting on the enthusiasm. I have felt so safe and secure knowing that President Obama is in the White House. I want him there, safe and sound, for another four years! Beaglemom
Coming out of hiding here; I had a business on Guam in 2002 when the super typhoon Pongsona hit the island. We were wiped out. Totally. Could not work, make payroll, without water and electricity for weeks. FEMA was our lifeline, although most of us pulled together without assistance as the "R" administration on the island at the time played favorites, just the same as the "D" administration did the same in the previous typhoon. Props to Chris Christie and Obama for DOING THEIR JOB without partisan knife fights. Perhaps the joes on the street will get power, water adn a roof over their heads in short time.
I was born and raised on the jersey shore so I know every one of those towns well, my hometown being Pt Pleasant Beach. All my friends are ok but it is so devastating to see it all gone, so many pictures sent to me really hitting home. Anyone that can't see how great our president is is beyond stupidity. Even Christie, the governor I can't stand....is doing what he should be doing. I know he is up for re election in 2013, but he also knows Obama is going to win and he wants to stay as far up his ass cuz he knows this recovery is gonna take years, not months. So...who cares, he is doing what should be done and he is a tuff SOB for throwing Mitt under the bus. I told my daughter in NY how lucky she is to have Cuomo and Bloomberg as they believe in climate change and will rebuild the subways for the future, we shall see how Congress handles this one.
He aint perfect, but he's a good man. That puts him head and shoulders above Mitt Romney as a candidate and a person. This decision of who to vote for POTUS is a no-brainer.
The President speaks the truth. A lot of people are still rebuilding- but we have clean lots, all of our services are back up, the schools are running (even though our juniors/seniors still take classes in the Mall), and a good chunk of businesses have been rebuilt.
My home's still an empty lot, but that came from a nasty separation just after the insurance check came in, and is in no way the government's responsibility.
Mr. Obama, you, sir, are an amazing President. I think Mt. Rushmore has a spot for you...
What a compassionate and passionate man! I have family in North Jersey, they're still flooded, in the dark with no heat and no gasoline for their cars and generators. But they're still fired up and optimistic. They feel much safer knowing he's given his word. Obama is campaigning his tail off, and the crowds are psyched!
I almost felt like he was hugging me.

Is it me or did the woman at the end totally bypass POTUS and thank Christie? Just an observation. POTUS walked on...no sweat he's seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI thought I saw the same thing.
DeleteI think that "Thank you, governor" was coming from another woman but the camera was following President Obama and a woman's head was in the way.
DeleteWhatever...that person is just another f..n repub racist.
Deletei wonder how the rebubs will spin this so the prez looks bad? they will have to put some work into it.
