What if President Obama responded to those requesting the right to secede?

This is of course a parody, but it  DOES make some very good points.

Clearly these idiots have not spent any real time thinking the idea through at all.

No FEMA relief, should be on that list, too.
Those racist idiots don't think about that.

To be fair, I think he should respond. These people are as adamant as WE would be if their was a Romney presidency looimg( personally I was leaving the country if that happened). But do you know what I mean? What power DO we have in this country to be heard?
I say let them all secede.
    Buh bye.

It's called elections. It's called getting involved in the ground game. when you lose, you suck it up until the next election rolls around. You get involved and vote if the midterms and know who the F your town, county, and state reps are. You work to get signatures on referendums if you state has them. You attend town council and school board meetings and you local party meetings. All in prep for next election.

  5. I think it's safe to say that none of these morons have given any thought to the practical consequences of their unpatriotic, un-American, treasonous, sore loser, hissy fit conniptions.

And don't forget, all those satellite businesses that surround any military base will see their entire customer base disappear overnight.

Grypen: I so love this. It should be placed on the front page of every paper in the states that want to seceed.
Also they could declare war on any country they wish, but fight with their own sons and daughters.
    Love it!!!

You missed the back of that letter,Gryphen.

Any non-Texas residents attending universities will return unused portions of their student loans. Texas students attending US schools will not be eligible for student loans as foreign students.

We will send you the per mile bill for federal highways, minus the already paid state portion.

    Ditto for federal buildings.

To facilitate your assumption of your fair share of the national debt, we've divvied up all the T-bonds and are sending a truckload of paper to you next week. Oh by the way, we sent you the bonds held by China.

A friend on Facebook posed a question about these people signing these petitions to secede. He suggested that the simple act of signing them should invalidate the individuals right to vote in our elections.

He stated that they are engaging in sedition and should be treated accordingly. Also, since they don't want to be part of America, they no longer should have a voice in the process of electing officials or receiving Federal money via benefits such as SNAP, Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security.

Another friend suggested that the petitioners be given a one way ticket out of America to the country of their choice and they must surrender their citizenship at the border. That should separate the wheat from the chafe.

I think we start a movement to strip these so called citizens of their rights under our constitution since they hate democracy enough to commit sedition.

Hey guys, some urine soaked fool at the peepond has a survey up showing $carah's effect on AK tourism. I honestly posted how she has turned me off from ever visiting AK - thought some of you might like to contribute, too.

Even my wish to meet Gryphen isn't enough to overcome the stench that Palin has placed on the entire state.

This letter is a thing of beauty. I live in Texas and when Gov. Good Hair was talking about leaving the union, I told a friend that if that happened I would be out of here before the ink was dry. I didn't think about all the ramifications in the letter but I did realize that as a sovereign nation, Texas would be in a world of shit financially and there would be no way to protect ourselves from enemies both foreign and domestic. Of course Perry is walking back his secession comments because he wasn't serious and at the time was only trying to appeal to lowest of information voters aka the Republican base.

  16. Perhaps it will soon be a moot issue:

"Deport Everyone That Signed A Petition To Withdraw Their State From The United States Of America"

    https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/deport-everyone-signed-petition-withdraw-their-state-united-states-america/dmQl1bXL

My suggestion is to deport them to Somalia, even though Somalia will probably reject them because of that 'honor among thieves' thingie.

Hmm, I saw a car with Texas plates parked on a nearby street for the last several months. Do I call Immigration to make certain they're legally in the USA?

Texas dollars may not be something the UNITED STATES would want to trade in.
