Even after the election Fox News continues to lie about President Obama's poll numbers.

Courtesy of News Hounds:

Fox Nation has a post up declaring Poll: Obama Job Approval Drops to 49%. But you have to wonder if Dick Morris is writing the Fox Nation headlines now. Because Obama's approval ratings have been climbing not dropping.

The body of the Fox Nation post is merely a listing of Gallup's latest tracking poll results of Obama's approval and disapproval. Fox accurately describes his approval at 49% (at the time, it has since risen more and is now at 51%) and his disapproval at 45%. But if you click on the link right there in Fox's post, you'll see for yourself that those approval numbers are going up, not down, and have been since November, 2011.

Personally after their dismal performance during the lead up to the campaign, and Karl Rove's very public meltdown on air the night of the election, I have NO idea why anybody would listen to anything that Fox News had to say about polling numbers.

And Greta Van Susteren wonders why Fox is left out of the loop when it comes to disseminating information by the White House. Yeah, that's a real brain teaser!

God I cannot wait until Fox News is no longer polluting the cable news airwaves. Hopefully their demise happens sometime soon.

P.S. By the way if you like that picture at the top of this post you can find 38 just like it by clicking here.

  2. Gallop has NO idea how to run a poll - we learned that over the past 4 years - no real news organization quotes them any more - Fox clings to the one who turned polling into a fairy story for the GOP.

We also know now that Gallop is one of the most GOP-leaning polls, if not the most GOP-leaning poll, of them all. I won't pay any attention to it at all.

Just a little nitpick: Fox didn't get news/updates from the WH not because the Prez is schooling them, but because they have no "reporters" assigned to cover that "beat." Fox spends it's budget on anchors and pundits (as we well know!) Who don't engage in any actual journalism (no! Lol). So the WH had and has no POC to send info to. Not like their gonna send a memo addressed "To: All Fox News liars."
