Courtesy of Mother Jones, almost every Obama conspiracy ever.

Here are just a few courtesy of Mother Jones:

Obama is a secret Muslim
Obama is bringing 100 million Muslims to America
Obama is in the pocket of the Muslim Brotherhood
Obama married a Pakistani guy
Obama was born in Kenya
Obama is the son of Malcolm X
Obama is the son of Frank Marshall Davis
Obama's ghostwriter was Bill Ayers
Obama secretly gave away American islands to Russia
Obama is planning FEMA concentration camps
Obama caused the BP oil spill
Obama was behind the Aurora massacre
Obama had Andrew Breitbart killed

Etc. etc., etc..

What isn't included in this is the latest conspiracy, that Obama faked the shooting at Sandy Hook as an excuse to take the American people's guns.

And people wonder why the President has trouble reaching out to these people.

Why bother to reach out to nuts who will reject him anyway. No matter what Obama does it will never be good enough for them even if he were to magically make himself "white".

A few weeks ago I put this on my FB (where most of my 'friends' are RW to varying degrees), thinking there'd be something there to please everybody but instead it was roundly ignored.

I can see I need to post it again, hehe

  4. This is totally, woefully off-topic, but apparently the celebrity couple named Palin are only welcome at B- or C-list auto auctions:

    2. No, the point is, NYT covered an elite, well-known event that has been going on in Scottsdale for quite some time, has an international reputation. Firs' Dood 'n Quitler were seen stumbling around at a lower-grade knock-off show that attracts wannabees who can't make it in to the better known event. Shocker...

Hard to reach out to people who have their backs turned to you and their brains addled by right wing slurs. And did you catch the ignorant, despicable fools on Fox yesteday calling it 'a dark day?' How is one man supposed to counter a mass of hateful idiots who seem to come up with another conspiracy every single day? You know, I blame Palin for bringing this crap into the mainstream. They were always out there, but she made it just fine to stand up and call a man hateful names, lie about his intent, and rile up crowds on national TV to the point of them wanting him dead. And HE is the divider? I am no longer ignoring this garbage. When I run into this on the web, I write back and I call them out. It must stop. We are better than this.

Good for you, Sally, but it will take a lot more than that to change any of those fools. Don't get me wrong, keep trying.

I left FB when one of my "friends" posted the picture of Obama made to look like Hitler. When no one else in the group made any negative comment about the posting, I blasted ALL of them and gave them the reasons. Not one of them who had my personal email address contacted me later and commented.

I must say, though, that I gave up on my family over Christmas when they were yammering about all the conspiracy crap that is going around and the lies, and the crappy "reasons" we don't need to ban assault weapons and assorted secondary equipment for them.

Didn't realize they were so stupid

But, one wonders, why should he have to "reach out" to the crazies among us? President Obama is a perfectly reasonable man. If the far right, never among the more rational beings on the planet, choose to make him their hobgoblin, there is nothing that we can do to prevent them. What we can do is support President Obama and lobby our senators and representatives telling them to vote in favor of the very sane positions that he has taken on issues. People who think that Sarah Palin "walks on water" will never change their minds and, frankly, I don't care. I just care about how the Senate and the House votes and I don't want them voting according to the gospels of Grover Norquist, ALEC, the Koch Brothers or the NRA.

Beaglemom? Too late. They already DO vote that way. At least, enough of them do to have a negative impact on his goals. Goals which I agree with for the most part.

And I don't know if you noticed it or not, or if you have the same results, but all I get in return is a form letter stating "I share your concerns" etc., etc. They don't WANT to listen. It doesn't STOP me, but it's a lesson in futility under we get them all out!

The government and media has been hijacked and Obama is just playing a role in these charades designed to sway public opinion. Why are actors used, and photoshopped pics by the media? You can't trust anything unless you can prove it with your own research. Take 9/11, an obvious charade, where government and media are involved in a far out story that the public seems to buy. I wish Gryphen used this MLK Jr quote, "He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it"
